I have a question: what would happen if a iran guy in iran make a new bitcoin client and we download and use it? US drone will bomb us? We are terrorists?
I will never download software made by terrorists. Even if it's open source and better than what we have? eh, your sarcasm detectors are broken. Isn't the whole thread about someone not wanting talks about a certain country because a certain government decided they're all terrorists, even folks like you and me? Now for real: In my view the US gov. is the biggest terrorist of them all, therefore every american citizen or inhabitant is a terrorist and I despise you all and wish you all die in the flames of hell. OK, maybe it wasn't that much "for real"...

but I would certainly like to hear Jeff's take on it at some point.
Would you like to hear Jeff's take on it when his words are on the record, or what Jeff's take on it would be if the two of you were sitting at a bar? I don't know Jeff personally, but my reading of the situation suggests they'd be drastically different. They have a name for that: hypocrisy.

Where I live there are 3 subjects you better not discuss if you want to avoid having someone mad at you: religion, politics and football. You know what I mean

I guess the real question you need to answer is: where we're those 99 missing BTC's sent?
..for the technicality of it I assume it is of equal interest.. or? You don't need to tell us. You need that answer yourself. Start investigating the address where they went. Can you connect that address to some other address(es)? Use znorts blockchain parser, blockchain.info taint analysis, dump your wallets with pywallet and see if that address belongs to you, whatever is at your power. I've never heard or seen a case where bitcoind or bitcoin-qt sent a tx on it's own without user input.

Google is your friend. Hell, even wikipedia. The economics Nobel prize never existed until the Swedish central bank created it and "attached" it to the Noble prizes. Not really wanting to write myself what you can find easily with a google search. Yes, I'm that lazy...

As much as I like seeing bitpay being proactive I have many doubts The Wikimedia Foundation will like this. And I don't like it either, TBH...

You. My friend. Will go down in history. If bitcoin takes off. You will be known. The man who caused the first drop. Many more are to come.
What? He didn't cause anything, the protocol did. History in the same sense that 400,000 people worked on the Apollo program, but Neil Armstrong is the one people remember. He still didn't cause the drop. I guess you can convince yourself of whatever you want.

Where you from? EU Shipping?!
From the US but I will ship to EU through USPS. Most places are $16.95USD so it works out to around 1.3BTC for shipping to EU for me. I was hopping for EU located stuff. Thank You !!! I'm on the EU and I ordered from Bels. The HDD has a manufacturer warranty anyway. And it got here fast, with no extra charges from customs, so, I saved 23% VAT, which more than covered the shipping cost. Also, I could pay with Bitcoin, which wasn't an option if it wasn't for Bels

I'm not so concerned about his age. I'm concerned on why Wikipedia would actively try to sabotage Kashmir's biggest IT company.
I'm more concerned someone takes him up on his offer and ends up using some pirated and possibly backdoored WordPress theme.

I defy you to do it, Mr. JeromeS. It will be fun to watch from the sidelines. Just hope it's Eligius to mine that block: Porn alongside prayers Now tell us: Where are you going to get that child porn you talk about? Are you going to store it on your own computer? Will you melt the hard drive after handling such pics? After you do it, it can be safely said that you were the only person to knowingly handle those pictures and distribute them. Who's the criminal?
