It won't be the the Next Big Thing if the network stays artificially limited to 7 transactions per second...

You wish you had 7 tx/s in the bitcoin network...
Even with the cancer satoshidice is, it's very far away from the 7 tx/s limit.
7 tx/s would mean 4200 tx's each 10 minute block.

To be fair, mobile payments through M-PESA in Kenya (a country with about 0.6% of the world's population), is choking on 270 transactions per second.

We have a long way to go to get to M-PESA scale.

We already paid out more than 1 quarter of a BILLION Satoshis!
That's right, 250,000,000 Satoshis were already withdrawn, and there are more 200,000,000 Satoshis on user balances.
That means our users already earned almost HALF A BILLION SATOSHIS

Join us now at http://free.btc.pt/ and get rewarded with millions of Satoshis yourself.

New system, fresh browser installation, accepts all cookies, no adblocking, no proxy - your site still fails to work Sad It even cannot load list of offers - says "Loading offers..."

If it can't even load the offers, that's a known issue with older versions of IE. Were you using IE? What version?

I use the latest Firefox and Chrome and 4 out of 5 page loads all I see is "Loading offers..."
Don't blame the users software for your buggy site, dude.

Italy is unlikely to have the ability to shower the Vatican with cash and benefits much longer...

Like that would be a problem, ever... Still plenty of other places where to get their funding from.

Do you have a use name or anything? I was scammed by a guy in the UK and have all of his personal info if it was the same guy I will share it with you.

bulanula didn't fit the traditional model of a scammer. He's more like a guy that, if you give him a $100 bill for a $10 item, won't make change.

There's more to it than that, Raize, and you know it.

Captchas are up again, but the reward is only 100 Satoshis.
Can be useful to round the balance before a withdrawal request lol

The arrogance of some people in these forums is unbelievable. A newbie loses $500 and he is blamed for being dumb and irresponsible. Unf*ckingbelievable.

No, he's not being blamed, just being told the truth.
Hopefully it will warn someone else not to make the same mistake(s) he did.
1494  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoins seem lost on: February 15, 2013, 02:45:42 PM
Try to run the client with the -reindex flag and see if the coins show up.
But only do that if the (out of sync) warning is not there. If it's still there you need to finish the syncing and catch up the block where the transaction was included before you see your coins.

I've made a decision....

Trendon Shavers - A Free Contribution

you may see it here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=144321.0

I wanted to pay for it to do just that. Thanks for doing it for free, even if it's not complete.

I could be wrong, but didn't you say, "both or neither"... as in you wanted the credit report too, or nothing? Only the client that made the purchase, got the full and complete version. Anyway, you're welcome.

Yes, I wanted the FULL info to post, and wasn't willing to pay for less than that.
You posted it for free. Courtesy mandates that I should thank you for releasing all that you were willing to release, no?

1497  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reddit now accepting Bitcoin... on: February 15, 2013, 12:15:24 PM
Why didn't the price raise more than it did? there was a small jump to 27.50 after the announcement but now we're back at 27

Because the price raised in the last couple weeks as a side-effect of the mass buying of bitcoins from Reddit and Coinbase CEO's and now they're selling instead of buying?

Isn't this shit what they call "insider trading"? Wink
1498  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reddit now accepting Bitcoin... on: February 14, 2013, 09:50:56 PM
Just purchased 12 month membership.

Just purchased the value of a Reddit 12 month susbscription in Bitcoins.
Let's see who got the best bang for the buck one year from now? Wink

Cant watch some videos, it says embedding is disallowed by user.

Dumb advertisers start campaigns with wrong settings at youtube.
There was one video yesterday which was private. lol

The one thing I don't understand in all this flameage is why Jeff Garzik isn't championing the request for source from Avalon. Jeff?

After certain people made that task considerably more difficult?  It is difficult to summon the motivation.  Ask again in 30 days...

Can I start distributing a Red Hat fork with my hardware, as an essential part of it, without releasing the source and you'll talk to your bosses about them waiting 30 days so I can remove "some debugging code"?
No lawsuits, deal? Grin
Oh, BTW, if your boss asks for the source code right away he will make license compliance a considerably more difficult task. Ask again in 30 days, maybe?
