901  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin 410 richest addresses, updated often. on: April 09, 2013, 07:40:05 PM
Good luck trying to sell 100k coins, there's not enough liquidity in the system to handle it.

It is actually much easier to do than many may think. If you want to sell 100k BTC privately and off market PM me. I'll put you in touch with a buyer.

Will that buyer pay market price?
If the answer is no, don't even bother

904  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for someone to create/modify software for this forum [3600+ BTC] on: April 08, 2013, 10:32:03 PM
I'm shocked this thread is still open... are you still accepting bids? I'm a very experienced web developer (13+ years) particularly in creating online communities/blogs/forums. Do you want openly posted bids or would you prefer PMs?

I am. PM me.

The BTC amount is even larger now.

I still think Osiris is a good idea. Maybe reaching an agreement with it's creators to open source it would be more beneficial than creating a new, centralized, software. Don't know, just thinking out loud here.

Nobody will use convoluted solutions.

As 1 bitcoin is 100,000 satoshis or am I completly retarded?

Yes, you are completly retarded.

BTW. 1 BTC == 100 MILLION Satoshis Wink

No trades and no withdrawals.
I have SEPA transfers and BTC withdrawals pending, the SEPA transfers are still from before it going down.
Davout likes to shout that Mtgox works fractional reserve style on their euro accounts but bitcoin-central doesn't look much better to me. Grin
907  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FREE BITCOIN Sites *and* Free Newbie Lotto on: April 07, 2013, 09:30:06 PM

free.btc.pt is back up and working properly.

Still a bit slow, but I can't add CPU's just like that. In the process of setting up a new production server as se speak. Site should move tomorrow. 10 minutes downtime if all goes well, mostly to update DNS to the new IP.

I wish he'd wear a shirt. As shallow as it is, appearance makes a world of difference to the general public.

Not quite sure if I should laugh at you or cry for you...

If you want btc to be a success, at some point you are going to have to interact with normals i'm afraid. Looking homeless isn't going to cut it

normals?  Cheesy FFS, just shut up, will you?  Roll Eyes

Heavy load on the database server. Working on it.

Wow, you really stooped low here. You are pathetic and a bully. I'm glad you have highlighted the sort of person you are, looking for all the 14 year old forum members to yell and scream 'HAHAHAHA'. To most people, you just look pathetic and I feel sorry for you.

Just look at all your tip jars covering your profile. I really love the beggar look, suits you.

I'm 53 and you're an asshole! If you desire, we can meetup and discuss the issue over a brewsky.

I agree it's kinda in bad taste to make this public through.

Thank you. I have a feeling a lot of people feel the same way but don't want to speak up against John to some nobody.

Not going to defend someone who presents every sign of a scammer. Your desperation on having the thread deleted transpires. Besides, you even PM'd me requesting the deletion... Roll Eyes

Also, if there's any issues with my moderation feel free to chime in. I'm simply sick of such users that come around, trying to get me do something that they want, and throw a tantrum when they don't. I guess there's some truth to my title there.
<----

Good work John! Everyone clearly thinks your right from all the responses! I'm glad you showed the forum how you abuse your powers and the level of of maturity that you possess. It was a pretty simple request, you are obviously unfit for the job.

A clarification to anyone's who's reading this: As per the forum policy, we do not remove threads where there are replies by other users unless there is express permission by the other participants. OT replies are not included in this policy, of course.

Sorry John, don't back down now. You've really done one here. Also if I wrote a topic, I should be allowed to delete it. If I express distress over a topic that is heated towards me, I should have the right for it to be deleted. If someone asks politely to remove a thread which is affecting them, I would have thought any rational human being in your position would have sympathised.

Yet here we are. Good job John! I really approve of how you moderate these forums (sarcasm) and I think a lot of people have changed how they view you now. Not doing your scabby tip jars any favour, I guess they will slow to a trickle now.

No, you stupid... You write a topic, and you may delete/edit/remove the content from YOUR OWN posts/replies. Who are you to decide on the deletion of replies made by other users?
This is a private forum, and there are a few rules, and when I say a few I really mean few. If you can't accept those few rules you're better off leaving.
