Try changing the voltage/speed of the others? I have some KNC gear that would act like that and required I actually raise the speed of the bum ones above stock, and in some cases lowering voltage. I've also noticed sometimes neighboring DC's if running too high, would shut down the bum ones. Almost seemed as if they were pulling current away from them.

Thanks for the tips, I'll try that. Can't raise clocks above stock, though. 300MHz is the highest selectable speed.

what you mean?
what does not work?

Can't get 6 & 7 to start no matter what. I've tried raising voltage and lowering clock speed to no avail.

Well, that was short lived. Titan is starting to fuck up, cube 4's die 4 won't work anymore.
1804  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: October 08, 2014, 04:18:47 AM
Quick results on a multipool (It hasn't gone public yet, beta testing so no name)

VS A2 Terminator scrypt ASIC results (1x 60MH/s +1x 90MH/s)

Pool was mining some shitcoin called Elacoin the whole time. Seems the Titan definitely has some issues with what I'm assuming is a quick block time coin. A2 never has any issues at all, using an old hacked cgminer.

Edit: Nicehash/Westhash barely works. Unusable. Testing coinotron now.

Anyone have shipping updates with their order #'s?

Mine is 198** and still showing nothing but paid.

Don't you just love dealing with these Douche Nozzles?

My order number was 199xx and I paid immediately.  I received my Titan on 7th Oct.

Getting some good speeds from wemineltc and Litegaurdian. Not so good from Litecoinpool, (250-270) but their payout is higher thsn Liteguardian as LG aren't doing merged mining as far as I can make out.  Not done a long enough run on wemintltc to judge just yet.

1992X here.

Mining LTC on liteguardian pool.

Power statistics using DPS2000 Delta/IBM 2000w server PSU (92% efficient @ 50% load, 90% efficient @ 100% load):

1340w at the wall, assuming 91% efficiency =  1219.4w power draw from miner

Highest cube draw = 26.6A @ 12.2V = 324.5 watts drawn from PSU (Measured with amp clamp and DMM)

Lowest cube draw = 25.8A @ 12.2V = 314.8 watts drawn from PSU (Measured with amp clamp and DMM)

Edit: Actually, voltage at the cubes drops to 11.93V, I used 10AWG. Should've gone with 8AWG. Corrected numbers:

Highest cube draw = 26.6A @ 11.93V = 317.3 watts drawn from PSU (Measured with amp clamp and DMM)

Lowest cube draw = 25.8A @ 11.93V = 307.8 watts drawn from PSU (Measured with amp clamp and DMM)

Not sure how long a single 6 pin PCI-e connector will hold up to that type of abuse. I'll eventually have to solder power lines directly to the PCB I guess. Time will tell.

Going to try some different pools now.

Got my Titan earlier.  I'm actually surprised, everything is working great!  Huh ~320MH/s reported by Titan, ~316MH/s pool side. I'll post more details later when everything inevitably goes to shit.

Here's hoping you guys are legit. Will you allow local pickups? I'd make a road trip out of it.
1809  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S4 Discussion and Support Thread on: October 06, 2014, 02:59:40 PM
Just one question in case I skipped it: Has the problem with the "underperformance" of the S4 been solved?

I am aware that the miners works with BTC Guild, but even after installing the posted "firmware" which updates cgminer I still only get ~110GH/s @ghash.io and other pools.
Thank you

This issue is that the S4 can't communicate it's need for higher share difficulty to the pool. Btcguild and ghash both work perfectly fine share difficulty manually set to 2048.

Lead time?

Edit: just read this:
Do you have one for the IBM 2000W

Not on the shelf but we can do a custom order for almost any power supply at customer request.  Typical lead time for a custom order is 3 - 8 weeks depending on your lead time vs. cost requirements and availability of the required connectors.  Typical minimum order is going to be 100 - 300 boards to be cost effective but it varies by PSU.

Which answers my question. I only need 5 to 10 units, so I guess that's out of the question.

My machine is running great with the new cgminer and pools that allow specifying 2048 diff. Pool is reporting 2.15TH/s 1 hour average, and the miner is using 0.66w/GH at the wall overclocked to 225MHz and slightly undervolted from 0.725v to 0.720v. I'm happy.
1812  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S4 Discussion and Support Thread on: October 05, 2014, 01:07:23 PM
Use this firmware, the one posted on bitmaintech.com will not flash as it has a bug in its packaging. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/24462711/initramfs.bin.SD-20141003-1.tar.gz
1813  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S4 Discussion and Support Thread on: October 05, 2014, 01:02:22 PM
I'd say it is also. Try the new firmware, and if that doesn't help increase the voltage in 0005 increments and or decrease speed. Request an RMA if the new firmware doesn't work properly at stock settings.
1814  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S4 Discussion and Support Thread on: October 05, 2014, 11:39:16 AM
Hi Bitmain

when I started the device everything seems to be okay. But after 4 minutes a lot of (x) appeared in ASIC status. When I do power cycle the situation is after 4 minutes the some. What should I do?  Sad

Wow, this device has very short live with default settings. After 3 hours of running many chips crash. Really bad quality of the products. I hope that bitmain will send me a new device instead of this one!!!

Definately something wrong there. Is your voltage set to 0725? Have you tried flashing the new firmware?
1815  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S4 Discussion and Support Thread on: October 05, 2014, 08:47:21 AM
Yep, got it done. Edited my previous post. Changing the difficulty was extra fun on my mobile lol.

Wonder why nicehash doesn't play nice even with 2048 diff set.
1816  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S4 Discussion and Support Thread on: October 05, 2014, 08:15:57 AM
Yep, no new issues. You can manually set difficulty on Ghash.io? I didn't see the option anywhere.

Edit: changed the difficulty to 2048 and ghash is also working perfectly with the new firmware. Something to note about the new firmware is that the cpu load is lower for some reason.
1817  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S4 Discussion and Support Thread on: October 05, 2014, 07:50:42 AM
... And ghash. Looks like BTCGuild set to 2048 is the only properly working pool. S4 just can't handle vardiff pools.  Undecided
1818  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S4 Discussion and Support Thread on: October 05, 2014, 07:40:13 AM
Nicehash is not working any better either. Low hashrate and 20% rejects.
1819  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S4 Discussion and Support Thread on: October 05, 2014, 07:25:26 AM
Still not working on eligius with new firmware....

1820  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S4 Discussion and Support Thread on: October 05, 2014, 05:57:02 AM
Guys, here is the new fixed firmware. Bitmain emailed it to me as their engineer isn't avilable to upload it to their website yet.
