Thank you OmegaStarScream!
So...to do the actual transfer, I'm guessing that after he creates an account in KUNA, he lets me know his account number, and then there's some option in Coinbase for transferring the Bitcoin to him? (Again, I obviously know nothing about Bitcoin or how it works.)
Yes. He shouldn't give you the account number though, the bitcoin address is what you need. Once he makes an account and verifies his identity, he should head to the assets tab and then choose "Deposit" for Bitcoin. I just made an account, here's what the deposit page looks like[1] Note: I never used the platform myself so I really can't vouch for them but they look legit based on what I read online. I encourage you to do more research about them. And If you want to know more about the platform (payment methods, etc.) you can reach out to the team from here[2]. I'll try to keep this as simple as possible: 1. Use an exchange to buy bitcoin. Since you're from the U.S, I would suggest you use Coinbase[1] 2. You then have one of the two options: a) If your friend needs the bitcoin, then you should ask him to install Electrum[2] and to give you his receiving address. b) If he wants to convert the BTC to fiat (UAH) then you ask him to make an account in KUNA[2] (a Ukrainian exchange) 3. Withdraw Bitcoin from your Coinbase account to either his Kuna's or Electrum's receiving address. 4. If he went with (b) then he can sell the BTC for his local currency. Although I never tried this process myself, you should be able to do that with eToro since they support both Oil and BTC trading on their platform.

-snip- Technically, user from all countries can buy a card. (Except from countries on the US/EU sanctions list)
That's it
So would that apply to the first product as well? It's been a very long time since I came across a service that offers reloadable virtual cards for all countries, how come you can manage to do that while the rest of the services can't? Wirex, Advcash, etc. all used to offer that but dropped that service at some point, I'm guessing it was due to some regulations.

I can't comment on Tofu since I never used it but yes, you should be able to use Authy. It works the same way as the Google Authenticator app, you either scan the QR code given to you by Coinbase or manually add an account using a code. The former is obviously a better and more convenient solution. The code gets generated every a few seconds (whether you're connected to the internet or not) and not when you try to log in, and no, it's not 7 digits, it's actually 6. It should work just fine.

I guess a lot of people would be interested in the second product because no KYC is required. But the card must work with all big services such as Amazon, Aliexpress, eBay, etc. Coinsbee.com used to offer similar cards which were supplied by Prepaid digital solutions but they were just too bad. I personally used their cards and didn't really have any problems with them, but many people did: https://www.trustpilot.com/review/www.prepaiddigitalsolutions.comAlso, the prices have to be reasonable. EzzoCard also offers a similar service, but they're just way too expensive.

Sorry to hear that.
It's irresponsible and unprofessional, but how did they know your location? Is it through the IP address? If so, why don't you say you were using VPN?
Also, it would have been better to give you 72 hours to close the account and withdraw your money, or your money will be frozen, but doing this suddenly and without giving a warning is something strange and unacceptable.
Try to contact the support team and post on Reddit this may forcing them will force them to allow you to withdraw your money.
His account was already verified so saying that he was using a VPN wouldn't have helped. Also, giving warnings is not how bittrex functions, unfortunately. And we've seen that a couple of years ago when they decided to make KYC mandatory on everyone and not let the users withdraw their funds until they comply.

You can try to use WalletExplorer.com. It might help you to check if the address belongs to an exchange/custodial service.
You said you have another wallet. Is it also an Electrum one? If so, make sure that the wallet is fully synced with the server.

Not sure what happened to coinswitch but I don't think it deserves to be on the list of instant exchanges anymore. The whole layout is now different. More like regular exchanges where you purchase or Bitcoin for fiat and vice versa. Like how coinbase.com operates.
I don't see the feature to instantly exchange crypto to crypto like it used to be.
That's strange. It does appear that they're no longer offering that service but I can't find any official statements from the team. CoinSwitch Kuber (the fiat exchange) officially launched back in 2020[1] but at the time, the exchange aggregator was still running... I'll remove it from the list, thanks for letting me know. The exchange is online again: https://btcpop.co/home.phpIt would be nice to hear some feedback from people who had funds in the platform prior to the downtime since the team hasn't made any official statements yet.

I recently came across an article about Litecoin implementing MimbleWimble which I believe was planned for BTC for a couple of years now. So I'm curious, do you guys have any information about when to expect this upgrade and whether there are some other (maybe better) privacy protocols on the work? And for those who are unfamiliar with MimbleWimble: Moreover, Mimblewimble combines cryptographic protocols such as Confidential Transactions (CTs), CoinJoin, Dandelion, and Cut-Through to achieve a higher level of security and anonymity. In general, these protocols help conceal transaction information.

I recently came across this P2P aggregator, and I've been checking the data they provide for a few days now. See here: https://monetory.io/I can understand where the offers are coming from when it comes to Huobi and Binance for example, since they both were CEXes with millions of users way before launching their P2P platforms but Localbitcoins? It looks like they're slowly dying and they're not only losing to the big names I just mentioned or Paxful but also to the non-KYC and decentralized exchanges like LocalCryptos and Bitzlato. Although I do realize that these numbers may not represent all the offers listed on the platforms, it should still be a good indication of how each platform is doing. What are your thoughts on this?

Just found another one [1stpal], but I'm not sure if it deserves to be on the list... It has +30 gift cards [apart from offering keys]. It appears that they weren't active [in here] in the past few years and I could only find one " review from their old thread", so I was wondering if anyone from here has "recently" tried using their platform? - Btw, "from here" you can see how they respond to bad reviews.I haven't but I'll make sure to give them a try next time I need to buy something and give my review. I can see that they are offering Windows keys as well, are they supposed to be this cheap? I looked around G2A and they're almost double there.
