1821  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Help] What are the popular casinos for cryptocurrency? on: March 21, 2018, 06:02:07 PM
Hey all,

I am not a gambler nor do I use any of the casino services besides maybe the occasional dice game.

Question: I wanted to get some feedback on what you believe are the top 5 casinos (in your opinion) in the scene.
Note: I would prefer if they have affiliate programs, but it seems most casinos do by default.

The reason for the feedback is I've created a list of top affiliate programs and I wanted to see what I am missing. You can see the original thread about Crypto Trust here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3041716

I've skimmed most of the thread related to casinos as well as the announcements from the casinos. However, I feel like I might be missing some major ones.

Any feedback would be appreciated and This is what I have so far:

Lol, I didn't see bitsler in your casino list. Where have you been? Bitsler is the most crowded casino and it has affiliate program as well. There are many types of games that can be played there besides the mighty dice. Roulette, multicolor and cara y cruz ready to entertain us.
1822  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can trading be considered as gambling?? on: March 21, 2018, 12:48:11 PM
Myself I see trading as a form of gambling even though skill is more useful in trading luck is also an element. It also depends on your trading strategy if it is just day trading or buying a coin and holding till the right time to sell then luck comes into play.

Yes, in trading, luck is also an important element, just like in gambling and many other things in the world. Even though a person has become a trading expert, there is no guarantee that he will always get what he wants.
1823  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does becoming a parent changes the gambler? on: March 21, 2018, 10:38:22 AM
This was the discussion topic we were having last night, a bunch of gambling friends and one of them an expecting dad. There were counter arguments that his child also would turn out a gambler like he is.

The arguments were that it is his in his gene and that'll pass on to his child, since every one in his family was a gambler.

The counter argument was that the child would make a logical decision and genes won't play any part in this.

Which brought us to another important question what if turns out a gambler would they both play together. Would he be comfortable?

Amid this he walked out and texted me he didn't wish to gamble anymore, so wanted your views on this.

There are no gambling genes in a person's blood. Although we see there is a family that mostly are gamblers, it is not due to heredity. Someone imitates the behavior and deeds of those closest to them. When a father gambles in front of their child, of course their child will accept it as a lesson that will certainly be applied in the future. That's because the child sees his father's habits and not the genes.

Live support is clearly hard for most of the site including bitsler, they need to find trustable person which is gonna know the core of this site as well too. It is not just to take random people to work for them, it needs to be from insider rather than having outsider. It looks easy but it is pretty hard to manage on every respond or complaint. But for now I do not think they really need to focus on that. Maintenance site is take top priority right now

Once site grows bigger then the most important factor will be customer service, not just site maintenance. Because people expect a fast response from the support. I also know, it is not so easy but they need to find some solution to make it happen. If other sites are providing this live support then why can't they can think about?

Many different Bitcoin services and exchanges have experienced. This.

And most of them decided that maintainance comes first before customer service.

For example, Most exchanges paused new accounts because they wanted to service their current customers instead
Of signing up new ones.

As I can see, bitsler able to handle the complaints in the correct ways therefore for now, live support isn't necessary. There are many moderators in bitsler. They can help according to their ability. and when the problem requires handling from the admin, moderator can be a bridge to make the problem immediately known by the admin.
1825  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can maths help you win in gambling ? on: March 20, 2018, 06:55:26 PM

Maths in Poker doesn't really works, it is always probable factor working in Poker, not good with BlackJack, so no deep experience. In gambling, specially online gambling, I don't think maths does really matters the result. Only you can predict now it may or may not come correct every time. Math may help but  mostly Luck plays its role over here.

Yes, math in gambling is just a tool to help us calculate its probabilities. And our calculations will not be true at all times. Luck is a major factor in all types of gambling.
1826  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: March 20, 2018, 05:38:05 PM
I think the game between Manchester city and Liverpool will be fantastic!

I predict the final winner will be Manchester city, although in the premier league, Liverpool beat Manchester city!

But this season is the best chance for Manchester city to win the champions league!

Possible surprise in this game is exist. I have a feeling that Liverpool will win and go to the semi-final. I'm sure, most people will support Manchester City based on their appearance in the EPL but the Champions League has a different atmosphere. Anything can happen.
1827  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Men only. Are you daring enough to have a boob job to complete a bet? on: March 20, 2018, 01:50:48 PM
So, during my browsing of the internet and I've again fell down the rabbit hole into the weird parts of the internet, I stumbled upon an article about a gambler who had breast implants to complete a bet. He walked away with $100,000 in 1996, which was a lot of money back then and even today. The bet parameters involve that he get breast implants and leave it for one year, however the guy fell in love with it and only had it removed after 20 years (in 2016).

If you were the guy, would you have done it?

Do you have any other crazy bets with your friends? Please share.

Indeed there are some people who do crazy things in gambling. Of course I would never do such things. I gamble according to my ability alone and will never exceed the limit.
1828  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you still continue? on: March 20, 2018, 07:06:36 AM
naturally if i am at lose why i should have to continue?..there is always another day..if you are not lucky today then you have to stop betting...you may come back another day...whose knows, tomorrow is your lucky day.

true. you should also stop if you feel your too unlucky because you will always loose and keep on loosing if you still insist to continue playing. youd better try again tommorow and see if your aura is ok or not. however even if you manage to won , you should also consider limiting your self because gambling is still a gambling and your chances of winning is still verry low. much better if you can set your goals and become a smart gambler in order to avoid being greedy.
But for some people it is impossible to leave their game at the middle and this is called as gambling addiction. Grin

They will try to run back with their lost amount while running they will lose more and more money such a stupid thing if someone still continues after continue losses in a day unless he don't want the money anymore.

For most gamblers, if there is still a chance to get back the money they already lost, even though with the smallest balance, they will keep trying it. They tend to ignore the bad things that may occur after they leave the gambling place. I myself did it in the past.

1830  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you play online casino? if Yes... on: March 19, 2018, 09:02:12 AM
The anonymity feature, even though not 100 %, that bitcoin gave, already becomes a magnet to the traditional gamblers to move to this business. Provably fair and fast support are the two most important things to be exist on a casino to increase the number of gamblers to visit the site along with the other things.
1831  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what causes the price of altcoin down? on: March 18, 2018, 06:55:09 PM
give your opinion why altcoin cheap price?
is it time for us to buy altcoin?
why every mid year altcoin is always cheap.
the reason why altcoin price drops is because of the bitcoin. when bitcoin price dumps. the price of all altcoins will drop. the base price of altcoins is the bitcoin.
yes, very difficult to understand, at the time so many fans crypto very enthusiastic, the price actually goes down. I am afraid if this continues, then crypto will lose fans

As I guess, the latest news (or rumours yet?) about the ban of ICO and any ads concerning these things in Google affected negatively. Thus, the price of altcoins, (some of them like Eth and NEO) are used in ICOs is going down.

I agree with you. The bad news from google regarding ICO is the cause of the recent price declines. As we all know, google is a giant in the internet world, so whatever decision resulted from this company will surely give an impact.
1832  Other / Archival / Re: Is this the end for Altcoins? on: March 18, 2018, 04:57:42 PM
Just cause the price is dropping doesn't means its the end of something. The crypto markets have went through some mind blowing rally in the past few months and you cant expect the price to just keep on going up. The correction was going to happen at some point.

Agreed! The price doesn't have to go up forever. It needs to go down to stay healthy, imo. Short-term traders will surely panic in this situation but for people who have experience, will remain calm. Sometimes, things do not go as expected!
1833  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does positive thinking affect your edge in gambling on: March 18, 2018, 10:20:00 AM
Honestly this thinking postively is a psychological thing. You will always see things differently and find its goodness once you are thingking positive. When it comes to gambling I agree with you that it is all about luck and for me if you think postive, whether you win or lose, things will still be good in your eyes.
Sorry but that story of yours is only touching to the heart but let us face reality here, there is no positive thinking that can help you in gambling.

It is easy for everyone to think positively and if we are really to talk about high level of positive thinking, I should have won all my lotteries at least once on freebitco.in by now. Grin Jokes apart though, it does not work, just do your thing, expect to get lucky and if you do not, count it as part of the game but setting your hopes too high because of positive thinking, you will end up dipping yourself inside a hot pot of soup.

Positive thinking is like extra energy that will give us confidence when playing games. But as most people says, it will not give us the guarantee to always win in gambling. With positive thinking at least we will know what we should do and what not.
1834  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can you save money while playing gambling games? on: March 18, 2018, 06:36:28 AM
you cane save money while playing gambling games when you put all your winnings to your savings but leave some for your bets or money for your gambling.

I think if we are a win then we can easily to save that money in our savings wallet but if we are losing then we cannot do anything. I think we cannot save money while playing gambling games because we need that money to make a bet and unless we win, we cannot save it and only lose the money. but if you make an investment in the house and you play the games, then I think you can save money on the investment.

Save or send our winning money to a safe place and leave only the initial amount that we bring to the casino. And if we lose those money, the initial balance, then it is better to stop and leave the casino.
1835  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Posting/Sharing gambling related topics & news in facebook on: March 17, 2018, 05:23:27 PM
Hi, are you guys afraid of posting or sharing gambling related topics & news in your personal facebook ?

is it because afraid of siblings, parents or girlfriend noticed it ?

or dont wanna let your workmate, colleagues know that you addicted to gambling ?

Yes I'm not comfortable posting any activity relating to gambling on facebook, there're multiple reasons for doing the same.

Primarily amoung them is fear of backlash that follows, be it your parents, your relatives and friends all decide to go after you, like you're some criminal.

These days the people that hire you will scrutinise your facebook more and it's stupidly to upload such stuff on social media you'll get counselling and it's irritating.

I am also not comfortable to post gambling stuffs on facebook or at any other social medias which is using my real identity. Gambling here isn't good thing to do and we can get problems if someone who hates us used it to report our activities to our relatives or even to the authority.
1836  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling: Culture on: March 17, 2018, 03:59:49 PM
Have you ever wonder why even there are a lot of negative things gambling bought, it still doesnt leave us ? Is that so, gambling has been a part of our culture , even you have plenty or not. Rich people often socialize in the form of casino, while the poor are contented on country games with lower bets. I, as a person living on a third world country, witnessed how gambling form our culture. Town celebrations or "fiesta" are not complete without low cost gambling houses called "perya" where you can bet starting from almost $.02 and above. Every corner of the street has some kids playing coin games and even a wake makes its company awake using card games. Weird isnt it? How about in your country?

Yes, idk why even though there are many bad examples caused by gambling but it seems people, gamblers in this case, do not care about it. I think there are many factors that cause the gambling to be immortal and the most prominent one is the offer to earn money in a short time that gambling gives. As long as life issues(financial problem) still exist, gambling seems to be always there too.
1837  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: March 17, 2018, 10:24:10 AM
Stoke City needs to leave the red zone as soon as possible and I think this is the right time to start the journey. Everton is not a tough team when playing away's game so the chance is widely open for Stoke City to get 3 points tonight.

Promoting other site event on bitsler thread isn't good thing to do, so I suggest you to delete it!

Thanks!
1839  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitsler banned my account without any reason on: March 16, 2018, 05:31:00 PM
This is my first account and I only claimed so far 6 times faucet.

Maybe due to luck, I reached 0.001456 BTC. When I try to withdraw - guess what account banned.

Never trust this shit site.

Is this faucet banned thing the new way of complaining and trying to bring a old guard name down? They're reputed and have been there for a very long time and I personally feel for that petty amount you claim they banned you, I don't think it happened because of that, FYI all these sites have securities check in place for guests like you and you triggered something that caused you to be banned. Plus if you were a legit user, you would have used your real account here but you created a new one, guess we don't need to say much.

Some people treat free stuff unwisely and when things are not as expected, they complain and say that the site is dishonest. This is something that I find very ridiculous.
1840  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: March 15, 2018, 05:05:00 PM
After suffering a defeat from Barcelona last night in a UCL match, Chelsea will next play against Burnley whose position in the standings while under them after Arsenal. This match will be a very good match to rise from the downturn in the game tonight because now Chelsea should only focus on Premier League matches to improve their position in the final standings to get into the top 4 to be able to compete at UCL next season without having to make a play-off match.

The point difference between Chelsea and Liverpool is 4 points. There is still a chance for Chelsea to overtake Liverpool as long as they can maximize the points in the remaining eight games and hope the top teams, especially Liverpool, to stumble in their matches.
