1841  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Promote Bitcoin..... It is for "us" on: January 15, 2020, 06:20:13 AM
I feel that more people will have financial freedom when they are interested in Bitcoin. But I get a little sad when there are nations that prohibit their population from using it in their economic activities.
It has not been easy to introduce Bitcoin everywhere. it is required to educate the population and create business models that work for their use.

In my case, if my boss says to me: Now you will receive your payment in Bitcoin I would be glad the simple fact or I could see with great satisfaction commercial establishment that says: Here, We accept Bitcoin. And at best, that I can to verify that Bitcoin allowed solutions to a population that lacked economic well-being.
So I would agree on the promote Bitcoin!

I love this article.

Thanks for sharing!
Education, blockchain, and bitcoin all together play an important role. We need to educate ourselves to be able to take the Bitcoin to the next level and use the technology in our favor to solve everyday problems.
Surely later we will hear new news and advances from this winning Satoshi Nakamoto Scholarship PhD student. Because the new generation does not stop when it seeks to develop more innovations.
Bitcoin has allowed the awakening of big dreams.
1843  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2020 will be a material year for crypto. What do you think? on: January 14, 2020, 05:48:00 AM
I also think that this new decade will give BTCitcoin and the crypto market a positive turn. We just need the community to start accepting large-scale Bitcoin in those nations where regulations are not an obstacle and that they believe that adoption is a way out that can recover their economy and so also allowing the rise of emerging markets.
That would be a great start for the mass adoption of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.

Today there are projects that are implementing DAG Network in their applications to solve the bitcoin problem scalability in the blockchain.
The result is surprising faster and cheaper. You can make a transaction in milliseconds with almost zero fees.
1844  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Full time trading is boring on: January 11, 2020, 06:06:08 AM
Nothing. You either just suck it all up, or move on from trading altogether. Most(or at least some) internet entrepreneurs(bloggers, YouTubers, people who do online gigs through sites like Fiverr, etc)  work alone at home too, so it's not like day trading is the only profession that's mostly being alone in front of a computer. You just have to find the job/profession that has the perfect balance between fun/not-boring and making good money.

Why not just go out with friends and socialize after like x hrs of trading or so?
I totally agree with this comment. Only the guy who is boring with his work as a full-time trader. He has not created a balance between work and social life.
I have seen online communities for TA specialists. I think it would be useful and fun to share with people who like to trade. I also think that social life should be resumed.
I have recently met a TA specialist in a community and he has shown a little of his normal daily activities like anyone: Father, husband, and friend.
Remember that we are always looking for a full life with peace and happiness.
1845  Economy / Economics / Re: How many bitcoiners on here have actually used bitcoin/crypto for commerce? on: January 10, 2020, 05:44:08 AM
My total source of income is earning Tokens and Ether since two years ago. Naturally, I take my tokens to the exchange, I acquire Ether because the fees are lower to withdraw, then I make a quick exchange (swap) in another exchange platform to BTCitcoin.
As in my country, the merchants still do not accept cryptocurrencies. I sell my bitcoin in ATMs online. I always make a small reserve in my portfolio to save.
Seeing it between the lines "I make purchases with my BTCitcoin but the merchants don't know it yet  Smiley".
I think that adoption will come in countries where their currencies are unstable and with high inflation sooner rather than later.
1846  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to prepare for long term HODL on: January 10, 2020, 05:30:38 AM
I agree with the idea that if you decide to hold a coin always monitor the project. Because it is true that at some point the team decides to change the token to burn it and if you do not follow the swap to the other coin you can lose your investment. Once that event happened to me. Lost sight of a token, the token was burned and I had no chance to change it in time.
Now I am more attentive to the progress of the projects and I hope to see the highest price of the token to see the ROI of my investment: Buy, sell and save.
1847  Economy / Speculation / Re: Anyone else think "long term" hodlers are idiots? on: January 09, 2020, 06:11:26 AM
HOLD strategy is not for idiots that is a way to win in the long term that is practiced by the community. In fact, I have noticed that there are programs created by some altcoins that appear at the top of the crypto market that offer their users this way of earning a percentage for holding it. As we all know crypto is in its first stage and its market is being created for various types of users. There will be those who are in favor of HOLD and who is not.
1848  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Year of changed altcoin discussion mentality on: January 08, 2020, 07:04:47 AM
It is true that there are dead projects but there are also others that have survived the instability of the crypto market with the fall of Bitcoin significantly affected to them causing numerous losses. We must also recognize the projects that continue working and offering their products.

I follow Ferrum Network a Fintech Company that has built a high-speed interoperability network designed for real-world financial applications.
In such a short time It has built the First Kudi App and a First Kudi Verve Card for the African market.
This is proof of that. https://twitter.com/awoskidagama/status/1214050249213390851?s=20
Soon other products will be launched of very high quality.
If anyone is interested in knowing more. I invite you to join its Telegram channel. https://t.me/ferrum_network
1849  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cryptocurrency is better than fiat currency? on: January 04, 2020, 05:51:17 AM
The cryptocurrency has allowed young professionals to have financial freedom. Transactions in cryptocurrencies are fast and convenient that the fiat currency. That is one of the reasons why it has become so popular in the youngest populations on the planet. It should be noted that countries like Nigeria; some studies indicate that young university graduates began doing freelancer jobs in science and technology, earning in cryptocurrencies. Experts point that Africa has great potential for its population to have maximum adoption of cryptography.
1850  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Next big thing in crypto? on: January 04, 2020, 05:28:07 AM
in 2020 there will be a lot of big things happening besides bitcoin halving day, namely:
1. libra facebook will be officially released in 2020
2. ethereum will also launch eth version 2.0, hopefully this launch will make investors interested in investing in ethereum again and make ethereum prices go up.
3. And some social media applications also plan to make their own crypto such as telegram with TON, LINE with line network and KakaoTalk with Katlyn. I hope these big things will have a positive impact on the price and development of cryptocurrency.
I am also with the expectations about the 3 points that you have indicated. Above all, the point of the official release of Libra facebook that has been reviewed and analyzed in many specialized blog articles. 2020 will bring major changes in the crypto space without a doubt. There are those who agree with the project as others who do not. I can only say that I have loved cryptography from day one. Many things have changed since the creation of Bitcoin and I agree with Libra that "Innovation and regulation can live in harmony".
1851  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any change this year? on: January 03, 2020, 05:48:09 AM
Of course, Never give up,  keep surviving. I have learned to live with crypto thanks to Bitcoin I have found a source of income product of my work. The new generation of jobs is being paid with crypto. The crypto market does not stop we continue day by day. I've seen expressions that say: "I like volatility because I can buy more."
Keep up the good optimism, there will be those who do not invest at the moment but there will be others who do dare to give themselves a new opportunity.
1852  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people still fall victim to obvious scam? on: January 03, 2020, 05:21:40 AM
I think it is due to naivety and greed.
I have read the article and it is really amazing how Bitcoin Scammers get away with it. Social media is not the best place to put your money at stake and less with supposed investment returns. You have to be cautious all the time. Easy money is not the best way to assert your money. All related operations should be checked and backed by their truthfulness.
I love twitter because I feel informed about my environment but when I follow someone with an interest in crypto I am always cautious. Fortunately, all of my experiences have been positive.
I always try to do a good job to protect my cryptos and being careful with trader operations.
1853  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gifting satoshis to future generations on: January 02, 2020, 06:21:32 AM
I just hope that they would pursue learning about it as they grow up.
I think so. This thread reminds me that with Bitcoin I can secure a future for my 10 and 13-year-old nephews. At least in 10 years I will save for them and teach them the value of Bitcoin. The 10-year-old already knows about some Satoshis that he won playing by reaching first place in a game.
Thinking about Bitcoin in the long term is the most reasonable in a wide range of ideas and such initiatives should be shown more often.
1854  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ferrum Network | BITMAX | DAG Interoperability Network | DeFi Apps on: December 29, 2019, 05:32:59 AM
-

Today is the first use of the First Kudi debit card at Black Bell restaurant in Lagos.

https://twitter.com/FerrumNetwork/status/1210517865322954753

"both FRM and ETH has been added to First Kudi app"

This cool progress that can be used significantly, I hope ferum also introduces their products to other countries. This will make it much more useful and the view of the public will fade with ferum products that have been created.

That's actually great progress for this project! We need more real-world applications to show to the community that there's nothing to worry about using crypto in our everyday life. We hope to see more of this in the next coming months and exploring other countries to be conquered by Ferrum Network!

I am also pleased to see this great update of Ferrum Network with its First Kudi App product and  First Kudi Verve Card. I would also like to use my cryptos and pay for any good or service with a debit card like it. Nigerians are demonstrating that it wants a speedy adoption of crypto in its country. Nigeria also represents a good example for other nations.

I have read that in Lagos the crypto community is organized creating meetups and events to teach and attract: Blockchain startups, enterprises, developers, investors & crypto-enthusiasts. Good choice of Ferrum Network to select the African market to create products that provide the best solutions to the crypto community.
1855  Other / Meta / Re: [Merits Giveaway]2019 in review. A big thanks to many forum users. on: December 28, 2019, 04:38:40 AM

Don’t worry! This thread has a reason: stop and thank users for what they have done for you during this year. Merits are a (welcome) positive side effect.

Grazie per la tua generosità! Felice Anno Nuovo 2020!

Being able to recognize the value of the people who have helped us is to Grow. That is what you have taught in this thread as well as Hhampuz by giving merit for the simple fact of sharing in these days of peace, love, and union.

Thank you!

1856  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 10 Best performing cryptos of 2019,what have you played? on: December 28, 2019, 02:48:44 AM
The crypto market situation for this year 2019 that ends. It gave me no alternatives to invest in the best cryptos. I only hold Bitcoin, Ether and some cryptos such as AWC, HYDRO, FRM and NEXO because I am interested in following the development of these projects and enjoying their products. 2020 comes with a lot of energy in the hope that something good has to happen in the crypto market.
Hopefully, Bitcoin and Ether will recover their prices to enjoy some profit.
I also think like many that BTCBitcoin should lead any list.
1857  Other / Meta / Re: [Merits Giveaway]2019 in review. A big thanks to many forum users. on: December 28, 2019, 12:15:40 AM
I am only an observer on the Forum I like to learn in it. I would like to spend more time but sometimes it is not possible. Because I only have a few hours to dedicate.

I admire Theymos At some point I thought he was the same Satoshi Nakamoto. Theymos is a great administrator. Cool

Jet Cash He is like those professors that you find in the University teaching with the maximum interest that their students learn.

Vod I like for all his activities are straight to the point and his reply helps a lot.  Smiley

yura04071989 He is the best bounty manager I have ever had.

JayJuanGee Recently gave me 1 merit.

Thank you!

His thinking is enriching. I am sure that I will be following his activities a little more to continue learning. A part of me tells me that this is true what he preaches: How much alt coin diversification is needed? 0%?

Happy Holidays and Happy New Year! 2020 Looks Bright!  Wink
1858  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs ETH Vs XRP Vs LTC which one will invest and why in 2020? on: December 27, 2019, 09:33:20 PM

Bitcoin is a big influence on Eth, XRP and Litecoin and that can be the reason why those who have BTC also allocated some percentage of their portfolio to the other three coins.

Totally agree! And that is the reason why my portfolio is divided between BTC and ETH. Some specialists think that the price of Bitcoin could reach $ 9000 before the end of 2020. I try to keep the tradition buy low and sell high with all my limits. I love Bitcoin, Ethereum is allowing to create solutions to real problems allowing the emerging economy and the Fintech boom to grow.
I have tried to invest in Litecoin. If everything goes well for next year I will do it because, in my country, the cryptocurrencies of more interest are: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and DASH
1859  Other / Meta / Re: FREE MERIT COME FAST BEFORE I RUN OUT [Happy Holidays] on: December 27, 2019, 09:10:01 PM
Great initiative! That is being generous! I also think that your action comes by the spirit of Christmas in these holidays.
I remember a member who has a good vocation, helps other members with their wise advice, knowledge and good initiatives like yours.

Thank you very much for your good deeds!
1860  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sell your altcoins and tokens TODAY, save yourself the frustration on: December 26, 2019, 05:57:27 AM
Oh! Wow! This is good advice! I've already been frustrated when bitcoin fell and caused a domino effect for some of my altcoins and they couldn't get up. And they were as you say "shitcoins" but I am optimistic I am following 4 altcoins because I want to support them because they offer solutions for real problems. Bitcoin and Ethereum for me are inseparable they will always be in my portfolio. And as you well say we must think about our grandchildren, I have also done it. That is my vision. Thanks for this post.
