1841  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can someone explain to me what all the hype is with NFTs / digital collectables? on: January 28, 2020, 03:32:39 PM
I get stuff like GodsUnchained because it's a game, it has a purpose, but then you get the likes of memefactory, where you can buy a digital meme and claim ownership of it just for the hell of it?

But they said Pepecash will build a game. We are still waiting 4 years latter for it. Probably very soon now.
1842  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 28, 2020, 02:49:34 PM
The threat is real:

BREAKING: First case of coronavirus in Germany

The only good thing about this is that sooner or latter we will run out of people.  There I also number of cured. When number of cured will go over number of dead will be also good sign.
1843  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE.me - Crypto Casino 🎰 Now Accepting EOS | Roll Hunt | Bonuses on: January 27, 2020, 11:03:13 PM
.., players wanted faster bets and Ethan coded and delivered complete complicated update in less than a week same for other stuff.

BitDice bets are already fastest, there is nothing to improve when you are the best. Les then a year was here in this thread posted some rankings of web casinos and they were measuring how many bets you can make a second and BitDice was on top. Check history and you will find it for sure. To bad you were not active here back then Sad
1844  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC could reach 6 figures (rational explanation) on: January 27, 2020, 10:23:07 PM
BTC could reach six figures this or next year.

BTC competes directly with this 3 markets: metals like gold & silver ($10tr +), foreign currencies ($80tr +) & offshore banking ($40tr +).

It would only take a small % of one of this markets to make BTC rise to $100.000.- a coin (2 trillion market cap). Taking everything into account I see it as something very possible & easy to accomplish in the long term. So, don't stop the HODL. The current price is a bargain.

I dont see much chances that Bitcoin would not reach six figures in next 3 years time. Two years can be a bit more risky, but in three years, Bitcoin would be really unlucky not to go over $100.000
1845  Economy / Economics / Re: Richest 2000 People richer then poorest 4.6 billion on: January 27, 2020, 08:01:13 PM
Unfortunately Bitcoin alone wont offer poor people an opportunity
out of poverty, it will take something else to start the process like
education, employment and development.

Access to the bank today dont make you rich. You need to be capable and to do it.  But. here are billions people on world right now who are capable and who can do it, but they simply cant because they dont have access to banking. They cant get founds to fully develop their potential. With help of Bitcoin that should change over next few decades.
1846  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Big news! Coincasso Exchange is now an official partner of PSG! on: January 27, 2020, 07:14:26 PM
I lost my all hope from Coincasso and already moved on, but look at now, what just happened!

Not sure how you can lose all hopes of the crypto currency exchange?  What kind of hopes you had?  Best hopes you can have of crypto currency exchanges is that when you withdraw coins they actually send them to you. Until that is the case they are totally fine.

LOL visiting the sit, they seems to sell some tokens there. Definitely not the usual exchange.
1847  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BCH price in 2020 on: January 27, 2020, 06:38:21 PM
BCH price in 2020

As it all looks BCH will fork because of mining fees, that will for sure bring a pump. Question is when will that happen and will those that  plan the developers fee still insist at it.
1848  Economy / Speculation / Re: [2020-01-25] Can Bitcoin Price Hit $424,000 Sometime in Late 2021? on: January 27, 2020, 05:31:24 PM
Can Bitcoin Price Hit $424,000 Sometime in Late 2021?

Hard. $424.000 is a bit to high. I would be more then happy if price goes over $200.000. IT is high possibility that will not be the case. But of course is possible it can go over 400k, but very very low.
1849  Economy / Economics / Re: New York City Stores Must Accept Cash Council Says on: January 27, 2020, 04:53:15 PM
This is interesting to me, as there are at least two businesses right near me that only accept cash because apparently they don't want to deal with payment processors like Visa & Mastercard and the fees that are involved.  I don't know of any businesses in my state that won't take your paper money or coins.  That seems very odd to me--whatever happened to "cash is king"?  Why would any merchant not accept cash?

They dont want to deal with cash because possible robbers. When you deal with cash and your revenue is low. You need to have enough change stored. Dealing only with credit cards is simple, since they can pay exactly as it is needed and no need to give them change back.
1850  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Japan reportedly working on a proposal to issue a national digital currency on: January 26, 2020, 07:04:32 PM
Ruling party lawmakers in Japan are reportedly working on a proposal to issue a national digital currency, Reuters reports on Jan. 24. This appears to be a response to fears of a Chinese digital yuan.

READ FULL DETAILS VIA THE LINK BELOW...
https://worldpublicityblog.com/index.php/2020/01/25/japans-lawmakers-are-reportedly-working-on-a-proposal-to-issue-a-national-digital-currency/

It is pretty much obvious all big countries are working on their digital currency. Some are more motivated then others. So far only Venezuela showed us something. It is a long way for everyone else.
1851  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 100% scam projects on: January 26, 2020, 05:49:57 PM
Insert the projects you know that are 100% scam ... I start HVN terminal, HBZ (helbiz)

HVN works. They keep addressing accountants in Slovenia to use their platform.  HVN problem is that they was not able to break out of Slovenia. Not capable team. Definitely not a scam.

Many ICO projects do not have a capable team. If they would be capable of doing successful project then they would not need to make an ICO in the first place and would found themself the normal way through banks and angel investors. They of course make a research to see if team can do it or not.
1852  Economy / Services / Re: Anonymous Cryptocurrency Investment in Iran on: January 26, 2020, 05:25:12 PM
We've just started to accept anonymous cryptocurrency investment in Iran from today. Our focus will be on:

1. Cryptocurrency Mining: Due to low electricity price (1kWh = $0.008 ~ $0.015).

2. Tehran Stock Exchange: Highly potential because of U.S. sanctions. See yearly stock exchange indices (http://tse.ir/en/indices.html) and IRR/USD rate (https://english.tgju.net/chart/price_dollar_rl/2).

Shoot us an email if you're interested or want to know more: ir.crypto.invest@gmail.com

You should move this post in to marketplace https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=5.0    Service announcement or some other more appropriate thread.
1853  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Proof of Stake technical dicussion on: January 26, 2020, 04:56:43 PM
Monero
1.  No blockchain can be public and forever hidden,
anything they store publicly will eventually be broken
https://cointelegraph.com/news/monero-transactions-history-can-be-revealed-and-exposed-research

So anyone that uses them should be prepared for it all to be public within 3 years from the date of using it.

3.  Bitmain was selling an ASIC capable of mining Monero,
Monero changed the algorithm to disable the ASIC ability to mine monero.
But the fact is , a Monero ASIC was created and bitmain can modify it's original asic to support the changes, the only difference is now they are smart enough not to publicly acknowledge it, they will just keep it quiet and out mine everyone in monero with just a few asics.
PoW is always a winner take all dead end.

* Note: Monero being a failure is not a supply issue because of endless supply generation, but a failure it still will be. *

I used Monero 3 years ago and my transactions are not revealed yet although protocol was way less private built as today. How many more years I will have to wait that my 3 years old transactions will be revealed on your opinion?

No one ever was selling ASIC miner for Monero before they realize mining alghorythm will be changed in few weeks time. This is the only reason why ASIC miners are bad thing. You never know is there is someone secretly mining with more advanced ASIC miner then everyone else.

Monero solved this problem with RandomX. You can buy best ASIC miner in your local computer store. It is called Ryzen.  True Satoshi Nakamoto & Nicolas van Saberhagen vision.
1854  Economy / Speculation / Re: Corona Virus will Impact the price of Bitcoin ? on: January 26, 2020, 04:17:03 PM
Corona Virus will Impact the price of Bitcoin ?

Uncertainty always helps price of Bitcoin to get higher.  But if economy drastically reduce. And we fall into economic crisis that will fro sure not be good.  So short term should be good, medium term ( half year to a year) should be bad.
1855  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Telegram Blockchain going to be shut down? on: January 25, 2020, 08:34:51 PM
Is Telegram Blockchain going to be shut down?

No it will not be shoot down. But will not have anything to do with Telegram. It will have no use case beside for Telegram crowdfunding money. Like many ICOs in past.
1856  Economy / Economics / Re: Today is the first day of notorious Korea/Japan/China new year on: January 25, 2020, 06:27:23 PM
If you’re curious it’s the day many people gathering to convince you ...

There is not that many gatherings in Wuhan china with 11 million population. Most likely that will also spread in other cities soon. I would only expect negative news from China in the next month.
1857  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin valuation forecast for 2020-2060 from $10K to $100K: Is it reasonable? on: January 25, 2020, 05:57:33 PM
Bitcoin valuation forecast for 2020-2060 from $10K to $100K: Is it reasonable?

LOL come on man. 2060?Huh Really?Huh   You want that someone tells you price of Bitcoin in 40 years time? No one dont know how much it will cost a week from now you want 40 years?  What we know of 2060 Bitcoin is that block reward will be really low. Daily bitcoin reward will go from 1800 Bitcoin today to 1.7578125 Bitcoin. So not even 2 Bitcoin. Do you believe that can secure the network?
1858  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Reasons to be bullish on BitcoinSV on: January 25, 2020, 04:56:58 PM
Reasons to be bullish on BitcoinSV

There is no reasons. BSV is a copy of Bitcoin. It is also a blockchain copy, that is only reason is so much talk about it. Sole reason it exist is to make Bitcoin holders richer.  On long term there is no way any copy/paste of Bitcoin will survive, since they are not fundamentally different. There are 10000 such coins. Many already dead.
1859  Economy / Economics / Re: Goverments creating digital currencies - Threat or Opportunity? on: January 25, 2020, 01:31:04 AM
Some governments recently try to create their own crypto currencies (e.g. China), according to reports.

Venezuela central bank made concurrency. China had not made anything. So there is nothing to discourse about china, but a lot about Venezuela. Petro is distributed to people as part of a social support.
1860  Economy / Speculation / Re: What set of conditions can crash blockchain or bitcoin to zero USD? on: January 25, 2020, 12:36:02 AM
What set of conditions can crash blockchain or bitcoin to zero USD?

Fundamental flaw that could not be fixed. If it could be fixed I am sure the change would be forked into protocol, but if it could not get fixed, then would go close to zero. Not to zero, since there would be still some lunatics believe in Bitcoin. For some is like a religion.
