Where is the linux QT wallet? Was there for testnet.
Srry for incomplete info, was super busy with the stuffs, though I have been working day and night. Here is a daemon available right now; let me upload the qt. Luckily blocks are not coming out quickly; I think this is good for general miners. http://cryptomagic.com/files/

[CoinSwap]All, to let you know, fist 12 blocks were mined which generate 1,237,505 XMG, about 5% of total XMG, these coins are used to swap with prior Magicoin. I think you should be aware of this, as we discussed priorly. And we won't carry out swap at this time, so further freshly mined XMG will be in circulation. { "version" : "v1.0.0.1-magi", "protocolversion" : 71040, "walletversion" : 60000, "balance" : 0.00000000, "newmint" : 1237505.00000000, "stake" : 0.00000000, "blocks" : 12, "timeoffset" : -1, "moneysupply" : 1237505.00000000, "connections" : 5, "proxy" : "", "ip" : "66.55.90.58", "difficulty" : { "proof-of-work" : 0.00078971, "proof-of-stake" : 0.00024414 }, "testnet" : false, "keypoololdest" : 1410813359, "keypoolsize" : 101, "mininput" : 0.00000000, "paytxfee" : 0.00010000, "errors" : "" }

Extremely busy now, will put all information at the fist page.
Also, please take time, some info, 5 XMG/block rewarding (most likely at the beginning), compared to 500 XMG/block rewards, probably few days later

Joe, Iám using windows and mining solo in testnet! Its works fine. Just received 5 XMG! very nice, we are going towards launch.
|
|
|
I'm running this on Mac OS, I get this with the ./configure: ./configure: line 5937: syntax error near unexpected token `,' ./configure: line 5937: `LIBCURL_CHECK_CONFIG(, 7.10.1, ,'
make: make: *** No targets specified and no makefile found. Stop.
Srry, I have no idea of Mac at this time, maybe you can have virtualbox. And don't worry mining right now, block rewarding is very low at the beginning.

Dev, this thread has become extremely difficult to follow for those not savvy with this tech and all the tests everyone has been running.
Would really appreciate clear instructions on what to download and how to mine when this is ready to launch!
Looks like the launch is scheduled to go off in about 45 minutes, when will be the swap for our old coins? I think I heard it would not be for some time so I assume we just hold our separate wallet for the old MagiCoins we have until the swap day?
Thanks!
I will compile info and put at the top of the OP. We now postpone the swap, will give details after this launch.

guys, you're just fine with the new miners, every one does have less hash now. Please let me know if you find blocks, just to be sure working fine. (I do see mining in my computer)
but are you telling about testnet? Yes, that part is about testnet; Official lunch at 5 PM EST.

[Please aware that you have to change settings for mining with official wallets]
1. delete the line with testnet, in magi.conf
2. set rpcport: rpcport=8232, in magi.conf
3. change the miner setting, sole mining should be like this: 127.0.0.1:8232
I am not sure of pool mining, so probably you have to sole mining at this time.

Hello joe
I test with 1 Mhash for 31 minutes and do not find any block.
I can find block on the old wallet (wallet that need dll)
any problem?
Hi, use wallets and miners from here: http://cryptomagic.com/files

|

Right now, only testnet wallet for testing miners; official wallets available at 5

EDIT: This new standalone miner shows 2x less hashrate per thread.
same here uhuh, yes yes, that's right; actually I revised the algo (dropped off the fortran part which gives us trouble at least windows version has issues with that); so every one get lower hash, still fair. Does that mean that the V2 will not work anymore when the coin goes live? If you revised the algo, do we also need a new wallet? All are there, only use those here:

Ok, so I compiled it, but I can't set number of threads (it always maxes them out to , also, I don't see any output. EDIT: This new standalone miner shows 2x less hashrate per thread. You're in cygwin or linux, for windows, check out the above post for the standalone miner.
