Got BTCGuild to work, had to create a new worker for some reason.

Testing 225MHz @ 0.725v right now. Power draw = 1525w
What is the hashrate? It's advertised as 1380w at the wall at 2000GH/s. * Hash Rate: 2,000GH/s guaranteed * Power Efficiency: 0.69Watt/GH/s at the wall
200MHz/0.0725v(stock): 2010GH/s @ 1305w = 0.65Watt/GH/s 225MHz/0.0725v: 2243GH/s @ 1505w = 0.67Watt/GH/s That's using Eligius. Nicehash doesn't work for shit, was only getting about 1650GH while overclocked. I'll post more as I test, likely tomorrow. Edit: Seems like Eligius' stats are messed up? Hashrate average over the last 256 seconds is only 48GH/s Edit 2: I'm trying to find a pool that reports hashrate properly, as Eligius isn't. For some reason the miner won't connect to BTCGuild... ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) Pool is showing up as dead.

Can we get actual proper specs on the included PSU?
Is this close?
1400w or 116.66A continuous 12v output? Assuming 88% efficiency, that should read as about 1591w at the wall if the miner is consuming 1400w DC correct? Who manufactures the PSU? I get a little nervous when I read "custom PSU".
It's 1400w at the wall. No, I'm pretty sure the PSU can output 1400W DC. PSUs are never rated with what they draw at the wall.

Just took delivery of my S4. Cost an extra $220 at the door for customs in Canada.
Nice looking box, kill-a-watt is reading 1308w on 240v.
Going to have to reverse the fans as the airflow won't work for my setup.
$220? Damn, got that to look forward to as well. lol EDIT: You set up a 240v circuit for your miner? Yes I have, all my mining equipment runs on 240v. Any particular reason for going that route? I'm running 4 S3's right now and will be adding one of these in and maybe one more. Moving to a new place where I have the luxury to add in some new circuits if I want. A few reasons, yes. 240v takes up half the amperage as 120v, so you can get more miners on the same circuit. 15A x 120V = 1800w -20% = 1440w of usable power 15A x 240V = 3600w -20% = 2880w of usable power Power supplies are also typically between 1-3 percent more efficient running on 240V, so there is tiny power saving there. Less amperage also means less heat and stress on the PSU's components, so they may last longer under 24/7 heavy loads.

It is now Q4. Has anyone received what they consider to be a fully functional Titan from KNC yet ?
yes, i do have one fully functional Titan, however i got another 4 titan which fucked up on hand Those are pretty horrible odds. Hope KNC fixes this shit quickly for you and others. Still waiting for my Titan to ship.

Hello, needs the S4 a normal C13 cable (like a PC power supply) to power? Like this: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fupload.wikimedia.org%2Fwikipedia%2Fcommons%2Fthumb%2F9%2F98%2FIEC_60320_C13.svg%2F80px-IEC_60320_C13.svg.png&t=663&c=MszuMGGoPXqwZw) I ask because Bitmain write 16A and C13 is normaly not rated for 16A. Yes, judging by the picture it's C13. You'll need a 14GA C13 if running on 120V, or standard 18GA if 240v. Could someone provide a couple of links to the correct cable needed for the S4? UK CableUSA CableHey Dogie, This takes me back to where I was confused in the first place. Bitmain says not to use a wire rated for less than 16A, but this cord would be 15A? Sorry if this was already addressed. The miner consumes 1400w, which is 11.66A on 120v or 5.83A on 240v. The wires above are fine for the stated voltages. You can also get a 12GA wire which is rated for 20A, but they're less common.

i still didnt get my titan WTF!
Don't worry, you aren't alone. I'd be surprised if those incompetent fucks at KNC have sent 20 out so far.

Will the increase in speed cause an increase in power consumption?
It depends on "-a" mode. Right now "-a 1" means max hashrate but more power consumption. "-a 2" means less power consumption but a bit less hashrate. "-a 3" mode is for 6xxx cards. To get max hashrate for different cards I had to add "-a 4" mode and also add "-h" option that sets number of hashes that GPU handles during one round. So now it depends on GPU what "-a" mode and "-h" option are the best. In some cases you will get more hashrate at same power consumption, but sometimes it will increase power consumption. In v8.0 you have to spend some time to get best speed, but for some cases speedup is very good, I got the following results after some tuning (compared to v7.0): 270x card: 19% speedup. 280x card: 7% speedup. 290x card: 1-2% speedup. 6950 2GB card: 3% speedup. I need to finish a special "calibration" mode that helps to find best "-h" option value, and finish some other things, so it will take a couple of days to release new version. Good stuff!
