There seems to be no name for the British man who took up the offer. Maybe you can find it on the original thread, although what you will see there would probably be only the forum name of the guy.

Are they a product that you are selling? If yes, try to move it to the Marketplace Section of the forum, I think it belongs in Goods sections since it is an item. You can move your topic by going at the lower left of this thread and you click the Move Topic there and from there you just have to choose the appropriate board.

As long as the demand doesn't become zero, I don't think it is possible to see the price being zero also. So yeah, I also think that Bitcoin can't be destroyed easily. We can see huge decreases though like we are seeing now. But we will leave these days behind too.
Correct, as long as people still demands bitcoin, I am pretty sure that we will be able to have the prices recover. I don't think that destroying bitcoin is even possible because as the quote above says, as long as there is a demand.

I was less concerned about Elon Musk's tweets. I think the "diamond hand" is just a metaphor for some technology that Tesla just invented and it has nothing to do with Crypto. We should stop clinging to this guy's tweets and speculate on the crypto market.
Can't do that because a lot of people won't have any reason to live, they joined the community because they want to hate on people that are doing something that is in their interest and get invested in them and when they get betrayed, they get mad.
I dont get you guys, fundamentals havent changed, the dip is normal like it always have been. BTC and Crypto will stay and rise and i am glad these puppets of Elon have been burned
The reason that they do that is because they want to feel like they are thinking much more superior than the other people in this platform so they have to say something whenever there is a dip in the prices.

What's to celebrate on this one though? Will it make the prices go back up and climb another ATH? If not then I don't think that we have anything to celebrate besides that's just his social media account, anyone can put what they want and remove what they want.

In fact it is very difficult to give accurate information about the market and do not always understand the huge difference between pump dumps. But when the pump did those who sold made huge profits. Therefore one has to be careful about the market before investing. Of course it is difficult to give an accurate information for the market because if it is that easy then we would all be rich by now. I think that being careful when investing should be a given and it isn't needed to be said, I think that anything that has relation to money or finance, we should automatically be careful about it because in this capitalistic world we live in, money makes the difference.

What is on my mind are the retail investors, they got triggered all of those FUD, and they got a weak hands and solf off. They are afraid, that's why we saw a very huge red wicks. They will learn their lessons, I am pretty sure about that, everyone has their first times, I didn't have the same reaction as these newbies when I was one since a lot of my friends taught me that this is just a temporary thing happening so I did get lucky there.
Well, a lot of things have triggered the dump - China FUD, Elon FUD, recent US regulation FUD, but those things are not the main reason behind the crash. We've seen similar news having little effect in the past.
I think the China FUD is going to be the biggest reason for this recent price dump, they have the biggest customer base so banning the services there is definitely going to hurt the market for a short time but the bitcoins will be bought back again in the long run and the prices will recover and continue its climb to another ATH.

I think that HODLing is one of the best options absolutely. Yeah, maybe buying from the dip is much better than buying from a high level. But we never know what price Bitcoin will reach in a bull market.
It is because bitcoin has proven that it will go up in the long-term, the people who say that hodling is not the best option like OP are the same people that regret not hodling three to five years down the line because they are greedy.
Now that the prices are really low, I think that this is going to be a no brainer that it is the right time to buy bitcoin and you might regret not buying now because the prices will only go up as time goes on and the market goes up again.
Why didn't you do it if you felt that the prices will go down? What made you not do it? Now look at you, you are angry and frustrated because you got half-assed on your decision. How can you be so sure that it will take 3 years for you to recover?

I'd return them back but I think it would be nice for the ones who made the mistake to give them 10%.
That would be the most sensible thing to do but knowing human behavior and myself, I don't think that I will be able to just settle with a 10% for their mistake, I would probably have all those bitcoin mixed and split into different addresses.

it is not yet certain whether this increase is temporary or only fleeting due to factors affecting market prices, as we know the entry of institutions into this industry has a huge influence on current market prices, they can also benefit short-term traders, and are capable of having an impact negative for people who are prone to panic due to uncertain market situations
This is a fleeting rise in the prices, the current wave is red, we have to accept that. Knowing that the institutional investors has a power over the market, you will be able to know that the market is going to go up because they can't force it to go down really low, this institutional investors are going to buy back into the market after some time and then the prices will go up again and by that time, you should have a lot of bitcoin to sell you can get a lot of profit.
Hey OP, how low do you want the bitcoin prices to go down before you can finally buy, I am sure that you are acting stupid and immature because you didn't adopt bitcoin early so now you want to spread FUD because you are a bitter loser that didn't profit from bitcoin. Also why defend bitcoin, this is a natural thing to happen from time to time, people like you have existed in 2018 so you aren't anything new to the veteran users in this forum.

Well congratulations on your first $500 Bitcoin investment, And good thing you know where to invest and hope that you could make it grow. I hope you wouldn't be blinded by greed and turn it all into Doge when it gets another tweet from Elon . As a newbie, I think that this person is going to be prone to temptation when the prices aren't seem favorable to OP. I hope that it will not be the case but I don't have the high hopes that OP will have a strong hands, especially now that the prices are plummeting.
What's it going to do though, as far as I know most FUDs are senseless so we can't really fight them because if we talk in rational terms, they won't go to our level instead it will go the other way. We all know that it isn't bitcoin that causes pollution so I think that it is enough.

This is a really big help for me and the others although, I am still a student so I still have a choice as to whether getting the job or just continue with signature campaign.

china once again bans bitcoin in 2021. Even though as far as I know, China also wants to make their own digital currency. This causes the market to fall again, potentially crashing again. Hopefully there will be no more negative news because it can make bitcoin prices fall again.
They are a hypocritical government because they own a lot of bitcoin and bitcoin mines, they ban it because they want to solo the profits of bitcoin. This ban won't last, they just want to make sure that crypto businesses that are operating in mainland to know who's the boss.

I did plan to sell my bitcoin but then the prices started plummeting and it seems that I will be hodling for another month or more until the prices begin it's climb into another ATH again this year.
