Next step is to for Dan and Arlyn (together) is get some Youtube exposure, eg. interviews with World Crypto Network etc. People will want to know the people behind the new technology. It will reinforce our achievements and build trust. It will help the market understand exactly where we are at and invite them to join us on this journey. Our YouTube presence is not that great, for what we have achieved it should be massive. We should aim for an interview within the next day or so if possible.
Great idea there. Thanks. I've actually put out a call for interviews, but only in print, so I'll definitely add video too.

Thanks for pointing it out. This link has been updated. Still a lot of changes to make through out the website though. Wow that was fast update ! Awesome Team I'll be browsing the official site a bit, and make sure to report back minor errors like this one, which could be annoying for people who don't bother reading here. When the time will come for translations, I'll be happy to help for the french part Thank you carafleur! Fantastic. I'll definitely get in touch when we need translation. If you find issues on the site, you're welcome to post them here, but if you PM me and/or Thrash, that'll do just as well.

Thank you! Much appreciated. Yes, the website will be substantially updated. Apologies for its current state.

I might be inclined to agree, but I think we shouldn't talk about other coins here at this stage.

just a question ... I was wondering if xcurrency's decentralised network would work for, or be able to handel say a torrent distributation network. so that users wouldnt have to worry about there ip getting given out by some service providers. it could be a anon and decentralised system and could generate min service fees through xnodes for downloads... also could have rewards in xc for sharing files. might get alot of revenu for thoes running xnodes. this is just a thought i had. feel free to expand on idea or bash it. just curious.
Definitely. It'll be a generalised content provider. That said, why use torrents when you can use next-gen XC storage? No need for torrents when nodes can find each other's content on their own. ;-)

Just bought an Item from newegg.com with XC using coingateway.net so cool! Fantastic! Can I tweet that? That is kind of pointless to tweet, you don't want to spam your followers. I would hold off. I disagree.

Have everything setup as per above, how can I see that its running as an xmixer?? wallet looks just the same as before :S
you cannot see it in the UI for the moment you will know that it is working when you will start to mix transactions. It will look like this: And how long will that take? Ive followed instructions to set up mixer but nothing has happened these last 8h... that port is open and my wallet is unlocked (for staking only though). Have I missed sth?? I believe the wallet has to be unlocked completely. Also a page or so back Dan has posted an installer for XMixer to be sure it is set up correctly. << my wallet is unlocked (for staking only though). >> You need to fully unlock for an xmixer to work Wallet has been fully unlocked now for at least 24h and still nothing... Does it say "autonode" on the top bar? If not, you either have an old version or your RC6 is just running as a normal node.

there is no volume on testnet because nobody asked I'm sure if Dan asked for some testing... it would have happened... It is just awfull to see on the other thread (we all now witch one) they are laughin with us that it isn't working like it should for some people... Ha ha. Oh well, I don't really mind that. ;-) I'm fully confident that Dan get's all the issues out. say... I was wondering... is there minimum amount of coins that could be sent privatly? yesterday (RC3) I was trying to sent 0.1 privately (just to test something) but I got error -3 "invalid amount" I think the minimum amount is 1 XC.

hey, I've seen we are already on a RC6
why didn't we had it tested full rev 2 first on testnet, so we had the 0.00001 fee's issue's out?
As far as I know, there's no volume on testnet so testing wouldn't have worked effectively. It was the intention to release progressive updates this week as we iron out niggles. Some info on today's release, just for clarity:
- We will release the "coinjoin killer", with which we finalise XC's privacy tech, on schedule.
- As with all prior releases of new tech, you can expect updates after the release as we get feedback from you all. Testing in the wild is integral to any successful software. If you encounter an issue, let us know.

Sorry to see the price guys ... I feel less bad for selling at my buy in point and paying the .25% exchange fee Weren't you banned from the thread? You can't ban people from the thread. Also his tone might've been positive here. Let's give him the benefit of the doubt.

I decided to get out of XC, I like this coin but there is simply not enough volume. Sorry for crashing the price on Cryptsy. I wish you guys the best and hope that I will regret my sales, since this is a good project. Peace out.
Cheers, coinzcoinzcoinz. Thanks for the positive comments. XC is a long term investment. If you trade this way then I'd encourage you to hold some XC for a while.

Anyone feel free to replace my handwriting with nice readable digital letters. Also if anyone want to rewrite the part on the right I'd be happy, I'm not satisfied with that part.
My only concern with that infographic is that it's not clear that Xmixers do not centralise the network. (i.e. all nodes mix; Xmixers only get involved when normal nodes can't.) Also, Xmixers primary function isn't to create "noise" by transacting all the time; their function is simply to break links on the blockchain between sender and receiver. And to fragment transactions, of course. Perhaps the right hand part should be about this. but why got the wrong "explanation" twitted on the official xc account? we should create a verified picture and tweet it when it's verified, imo Because it helps. We'll create a verified picture too. For now, those seeking a detailed explanation can read this post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=630547.msg8851414#msg8851414

My handwriting doesn't have spell-check, but I hope you can forgive any few errors.
This is my attempt at explaining XCurrency simply:

Great work Dungor! I want to tweet this.

Good choice sir. This coin's about to start on wave iii.
(Which is to say, it's going up to roughly 0.00185 or higher.)
Like clockwork... Someone's getting trigger happy on Bittrex, buying up to 173k when there are thousands under 170k on MP yet...such chaos. ...infinite chaos Ha ha. Clever ;-) But more seriously, let's all think clearly about this stuff in future and don't sell on an uptrend on the basis of a bit of negative sentiment in the thread. When a top trader tips XC, best to stick with it. Did the Pro trader sold you his coins? I am curious now. Zach Chester?? I couldn't afford his position sizes if I sold all my XC to get it. :-) Oh, Pookie? No answer from him.
