1881  Other / Off-topic / Re: Now tell me if you still believe on Elon Musk. on: May 19, 2021, 04:04:05 AM
If you didn't trust/believe in Elon in the first place your hearts will never be broken, you seriously think that a guy on Twitter posting memes about what he wants is going to be your friend? If you think so then you are probably stupid because of all the people that you can't trust, it's the businessmen that you don't trust the most.
1882  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons DogeCoin coin flip Bitcoin in the future on: May 18, 2021, 10:48:46 AM
How come that you only posted this kind of thing now that Elon is hyping it up, this post could've happened a long time ago but you did it, how strange don't you think OP because I am sure that's called a bandwagon.
1883  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Musk and Tesla's BTC conspiracy on: May 18, 2021, 10:04:06 AM
Musk hasn't sold his bitcoins. HODL https://ibb.co/0MYK1CR
That's not how the stupid Twitter haters interpreted the tweet and now they are panic selling, let them sell at a loss and make them broke, I don't care about them, they did it to themselves, that's what you get if you follow a personality online like a cult, you become the sacrifice.
1884  Economy / Speculation / Re: Everyone acting like there hasn’t been dips like this during a bitcoin bull mark on: May 18, 2021, 06:22:29 AM
Just chill out and observe the market, don't be so sad when you see a bearish market.
Tell that to those people who go on a rampage on Twitter on Elon Musk's statement regarding bitcoin. The reason that I think that this rabid people are acting stupid is because they are greedy and they felt like the need to make a lot of profit at shortest time possible.
1885  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Oh, market manipulation is finally bad now? on: May 18, 2021, 05:27:20 AM
Because a lot of people in the bitcoin community in Twitter is retarded and hypocritical, they will tolerate it as long as they benefit from it and now that the tables have turned, they go apeshit because they thought that the bliss they have will last forever, I say cheers to Elon for breaking the illusion that this delusional bitcoin users has been following you all this time.
1886  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: who wants a carbon neutral bitcoin ? Plant a 100 trees for 300 USD on: May 18, 2021, 04:38:46 AM
What we really need in my opinion is the total removal of fossil fuels as a source of energy to produce electricity because planting trees takes time while removing the pollutants, we can see the positives really fast and we also have to be really hostile towards people that are cutting trees, people need to know that there will be blood if they continue cutting trees illegally.

I don't know if it's not illegal in some countries, but in the Philippines, that is illegal as that would enter into the anti-game-fixing which is punishable by the Law. This is the specific law that I'm talking about. https://www.chanrobles.com/presidentialdecrees/presidentialdecreeno483.html

Quote

PRESIDENTIAL DECREE No. 483 June 13, 1974

PENALIZING BETTING, GAME-FIXING OR POINT SHAVING AND MACHINATIONS IN SPORTS CONTESTS
What I am talking about regarding the special kinds of bets are those that are made in between two people. Some kind of a personal bet and I don't think that it is illegal plus even if it it's illegal, it's not like they are going to enforce it always.
1888  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Arbitration judge orders Fury vs Wilder 3rd fight on: May 18, 2021, 03:01:24 AM
~

Wilder exercised the rematch clause after he lost the fight but then he disappeared and the pandemic happened so they were not able to make a deal before a the original deadline. Then Wilder took the case to arbitration claiming that he is still owed the rematch. The judge deciding the case ruled in Wilder's favor.
That's pretty shitty if you ask me, Wilder asked for the rematched and he himself bounced and never made the deal, I would say that it is pretty stupid because the delay will cause this match to be something that will be insufferable to watch since we wanted a Fury versus Joshua now and Wilder is suddenly ready to go against Fury. Pretty unprofessional if you ask me.

I did a research and you are right it's a smelling salt that they are using but still, it is something that is not natural, bringing consciousness, not in a natural way, according to one reputable article it's not meant to be a sports but a show, one slapping champion become a Youtube star, it may be a show for now but we never know, when there are money and audiences and demand, expect something to happen.
It's completely alright to be honest, smelling salts isn't just used for people who got knocked out but also can be used for people that fainted or anything that renders someone unconscious, I am not a medical expert so I can't judge whether it is alright. Also, if it isn't natural way then what we are supposed to do, taking medicines for illnesses aren't natural too so why take them right?
1890  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto-Casinos and KYC on: May 18, 2021, 01:49:48 AM

Kyc seems normal nowadays but we need to double check what website we are doing it. Kyc were required now in many countries to provide details if their customer for the business permits in whenever country that casino or exchanges staying, as long as we know that the website or casino is legit and have names to take care eith then having KYC is not really a problem.
Being careful should be a given thing when you are providing a KYC to a website because if you aren't then you will probably be a victim of stolen identity because you aren't careful as to which site you are giving your personal information.
1891  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Arbitration judge orders Fury vs Wilder 3rd fight on: May 18, 2021, 12:51:38 AM
Just when we were done with the Joshua-Fury negotiation soap opera, now we have this drama with the Deontay Wilder legal case. I don't know if this ruling will be enough to derail the Joshua-Fury fight. Fury can either try to come to an agreement with Wilder and pay a step aside fee or he can just ignore the decision and eventually have to pay a lot of money for a breach of contract.
What happened with this one though, I am too lazy to search for it online and I forgot what happened to this one. Basing on your reply, I don't think that a mere hush money is going to be enough for Wilder, I am sure he wants to go for a third match and if he ever accepts the money then I would be surprised because there will be no trilogy.
1892  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto-Casinos and KYC on: May 17, 2021, 02:03:40 PM
With casinos, as well as with the exchanges, sometimes happens similar KYC requirements, for some reason necessarily after trying to withdraw funds! And until then you could safely make deposits! Grin I consider it a scam, and leave such sites! Who knows where your data and documents can get then!
Well, why worry about that when your government already sold your data to companies without your consent so I don't think that it would matter if they have KYC, most of the time, these KYC aren't that demanding.
1893  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Cricket Match-Fixing Scandal on: May 17, 2021, 01:03:09 PM

Cronje was just small fish. He was probably indulging in match fixing for the first time, and he got caught. The masterminds were Mohammad Azharuddin and Ajay Jadeja. The bookies contacted the South African players through these guys. Cronje gave a statement that Mohammad Azharuddin was the intermediary when he met with the bookie Mukesh Gupta. Now Gupta was also a lower ring operative, and Dawood Ibrahim was the real mastermind of this operation. Rumors are that Dawood Ibrahim got Cronje killed for speaking out against Azharuddin.
It doesn't matter whether he is a smaller fish because anyone can be a whistleblower. Those rumors, I am pretty has some truth in it because Cronje dying after ratting out the heads can't pass as a coincidence.
1894  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Cricket Match-Fixing Scandal on: May 17, 2021, 12:05:58 PM
Whenever I hear match fixing in cricket I remember Hansie Cronje, the ex south african captain. What a good batsman he was but everything got ruined after it was found that he was part of a big match fixing syndicate. Unfortunately he died in a air crash before big names could have come out.
That's what most potential whistleblowers do, they sometimes die or disappear after the whole scandal unfolds and they could be the key for taking down the whole organization, this person isn't the last one that's going to suffer the same fate, match fixing is a serious money making business and they don't want people to meddle with their money making.

One of the thing that I really don't like about this event is using ammonia to try to revive the participants, I have seen one using it on one participant, he is not yet fully recovered from receiving a big slap and he is not yet fully awake, because when you revive using ammonia your consciousness is not yet fully restored you are still groggy and with a foggy feeling if they are going to treat it a sport, they should implement protection and stop using ammonia.
Is it really ammonia because I think that is a pretty toxic thing to be used for this kind of thing. Maybe it was smelling salts that they used and it just looked like ammonia. I think any kind of thing that makes you wake up because of a knockout is going to make you groggy anyway.
1896  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ohio offering lottery prize worth one million for those that get the COVID shot on: May 17, 2021, 09:39:32 AM
That's a really sad thing if you think about, people need to be given some sort of incentive to be decent person by getting vaccinated which is pretty stupid since it should be a common sense to do that since there is a pandemic. That's a good way to make a lot of people get vaccinated though, I mean lottery is the favorite past time of conspiracy nuts you know so they find the right incentive.
1897  Other / Off-topic / Re: Slapping Tournament on: May 17, 2021, 08:56:15 AM
I’ve seen this kind of thing before. It looks funny at times but in reality it’s not. You get people of different weights competing against each other, there’s no head gear protection. Some of those guys pack a real slap, somebody is going to get seriously hurt.
That's the selling point of this kinds of tournament, bare slapping so they can feel the full force of it. This kind of thing is an acquired taste regarding sports/tournament and if you don't find it fun then okay. Also they aren't fully unprotected, they wear mouth guards to protect themselves from the impact of the slaps.
1898  Other / Off-topic / Re: Online Game addicts=Worrying parents. on: May 17, 2021, 08:21:06 AM
I would say that you let them play when they ask you and always tell them to have a limited time, if you raised your kid right pretty sure that he will follow what you are saying and always be in control in your house in terms of online time, set some limit on how long the Internet is for the kid or buy some board games and play with your kid. Also, don't use mobile devices or online games as a pacifier if they are young, old habits die hard.
1899  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fully vaccinated individuals now spared of masks in the casinos in Vegas on: May 17, 2021, 07:41:01 AM

Most of us will prefer online but there are gamblers who would love to play in a real casino, that's why casinos are profitable because they have people who are patronizing their business, also tourist loves to play in a casino and that would add to the number of gamblers. We are also talking here about the future of casinos, and one of the reason to attract more gamblers is to give them the feel that they can gamble normally like before the pandemic.
Illusion is not a good alternative to reality, I do want to support businesses but if they disregard safety for profit then there is something probably wrong with them, I wouldn't really gamble (pun intended) my health even if I am vaccinated because the efficacy of the vaccine isn't guaranteed just to play physically in a casino, you know what I'm saying?
1900  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fully vaccinated individuals now spared of masks in the casinos in Vegas on: May 17, 2021, 06:54:08 AM
Just like what Biden said, If you didn’t get the vaccine you still have to wear the mask so if you’re a gambler and want to experience playing on Casinos, you might consider getting one now. Though if you’re still not confident with the Vaccine out in the market, better to play online just to be more safe since Vaccine still not guarantee that you’ll not get infected.
If you are vaccinated you still need to stay home though because we need to build some herd immunity before anything else and going out in public even though you are vaccinated isn't really a good idea right now. I agree that we should try to play online since it is the much safer route in this whole pandemic debacle.
