1901  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: AUGMENTORS GAME Augmented Reality Mobile Gaming iOS Android Token DTB Databits on: January 14, 2020, 12:22:59 AM
Sorry I dont read this thread, so very late reply. But I doubt I could help anyway. Is quite late for that. Project is dead.

It is normal you can fail and make unattractive game. I understand that risk before I gave them any satoshi.  But it is not normal to not make game at all. When they made game and was uploaded at apple store they should simple keep it alive no matter how good or bad it was. And then if there would be interest upgrade it. Why they had to take game off is ....   Is good for them so they dont need to bother with it and can move on. After two years of great time.

Officials at Glacier National Park (GNP) have begun quietly removing and altering signs and government literature which told visitors that the Park’s glaciers were all expected to disappear by either 2020 or 2030.

They dont need to remove them in Slovenia. Since glaciers are mainly gone. 50 years ago you could ski on them in Spring.
...

That is much better than if the entire land of Slovenia was covered with the ice.

Definitely. If that would happen we would need to adapt a lot and that would cost us a lot of money. No one want to spend money for adoption to changes. That is why there is plan to reduce carbon emissions so changes will be as little as possible.

How blockchain can solve ticket fraud and secondary market issues

You should definitely look at what is https://www.tari.com/ doing. Their platform is not yet available for testing, but you can see their plans. Their first use case will be event tickets.
1904  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will Bitcoin do next in the near term? on: January 13, 2020, 07:39:04 PM
In last months there seems to be sentiment that Bitcoin should go quite low in February and March. To sub $6000 levels or even make new bottom. But with every day that passes, that is less possible. Halving is approaching and there will fro sure be a prehalving pump with all the hype so many are building about halving.
1905  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE.me - Crypto Casino 🎰 Now Accepting EOS | Roll Hunt | Bonuses on: January 13, 2020, 06:09:02 PM
It is interested to see that when one question is answered there is quickly put new unrelated question. Such a concern.
CSNO token price is set by the market. Demand and supply. Yes price for sure is influenced by how profitable casino is since token have dividends. And since there were delays with development that profit is not optimal. Lets all hope for the best in the future. 2020 and 2021 should bring more interest for crypto, so also for CSNO and this forum. Hopefully Bitdice will be ready for it.
1906  Economy / Economics / Re: How the situation in Iran might impact Bitcoin on: January 13, 2020, 05:23:49 PM
I would like to hear what people here in the community think about it.
As far as I know, when there is a war, people are taking their money out of the stock market because they fear of instability.

I wonder what a situation like this may cause to the crypto market.

Killing of Soleimani  drastically improved Iran government stand. We saw demonstrations against government only a month or two ago. That is now total past. People started trusting their government much more. They support it, because they dont want that Iran turns into Iraq or Afghanistan.

Stronger the government is worse situation is fro crypto and Bitcoin. So what happened in January is negative for Bitcoin in Iran. What was happening at end of last year was super positive.
1907  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Hash Rate Continue to Surge! on: January 13, 2020, 04:39:30 PM
Last few weeks, we experienced breaking everytime the all-time high of Bitcoin Hash rate, which is extemely important for Bitcoin, although we still not on new all-time high price but achieving it first on the Hash rate, is something a good sign.

We can also monitor the hash rate: here Or here

Hash rate itself dont tells us everything. Better than hash rate would be electricity spent. Or even better then that would be cost of electricity spent.  I know this two data is much harder or even impossible to get.
1908  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: January 13, 2020, 04:01:06 PM
Whenever I talk here about 0.0075 BTC price I spook the rally Sad So I will stop.

It finally happened! Coinbase is under 2XMR. So less then 1 fresh XMR a minute or 1440 a day.
1909  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Closing Price On 2019? What do you think this year 2020 will be? on: January 12, 2020, 08:29:57 PM
Bitcoin closing price on Thanksgiving:
2020 Dec 30 - Huh
2019 Dec 30 - $7227
2018 Dec 30 - $4,365
2017 Dec 18 - $19,140
2016 Dec 30 - $973
2015 Dec 30 - $431

What do you think this year 2020 will be? Comment below.

Thanksgiving is not on 30 December. But many weeks earlier.  When you will see merchants start advertising good deals on Black Friday, then Thanksgiving is not that far away anymore.

Here you have 1 minute video of one how it changed during last 120 years: https://www.facebook.com/176703559080895/videos/1313038882114018/

The argument about the climate change is definitively not about its existence. Argument is that carbon is the main substance of life and it is not bad if there is to much of it, since will just give more life. But that happening means a change. World will change and is already changing. So what every country should do is to calculate how much will that change cost them. For some countries that live on a small islands it will of course cost them everything, since they will be gone. For some countries like Russia and Canada will not cost them that much since they will also profit from the warmer climate. It is this simple. Just put numbers on paper. What all we will have to gave up and what all we will gain. In general people hate changes. Specially old people. So there is no brainier we will love to keep it as much as we can as it is right now. Or better as it was 50 years ago.
1912  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Warren Buffet build wealth by investing? on: January 12, 2020, 06:31:22 PM
Like many other famous people, his childhood was pretty tough. He used to sell cold drinks and chewing gums from door to door.

LOL that is really tough.

Few weeks ago when I was at doctor and in waiting room two old ladys disused their early life. They are about the age of Buffet or a bit younger.  It was soon after WW2 in europe, her dad died and was no food at home so mom send her to help some other family just to be able to eat well once a day. Being few years old. Maybe 5-10 I dont remember.

Poor Warren had to sell chewing gums from door to door Sad

Why was your twitter suspended? You were part of some illegal activities with it?  https://twitter.com/UCIF_IO

1914  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Dominance rising again. What is happening? on: January 12, 2020, 05:19:15 PM
Before 90% dominance there's every chance we're going to see more altcoin price crashes, until we have a clean house.

That is way to extreme. In a way as CMC currently measure  will crypto dominance we never see Bitcoin at 90% again. Probably 75% is its limit. And after Bitcoin reach new ATH at $20000 it will start drastically decrease.
1915  Economy / Economics / Re: Demand for computing power on: January 12, 2020, 04:29:25 PM
What do you think about perspective of cryptocurrency mining (GPUs/ASICs/FPGAs) on long distance (3-5-10 years)?

I dont understand why you left CPU mining out. CPUs are everywhere. And there will be many many more in the near future. They will have to be active and to be sure they are active is best to do something. Mining is perfect thing for them to do. Much better then just some useless test.
1916  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Kardashian and crypto on: January 11, 2020, 09:21:18 PM
I believe currently the biggest celebrity pushing Bitcoin and Crypto is Spencer Dinwiddie https://twitter.com/SDinwiddie_25/status/1215640393204871168   He will tokenize his contract on Monday. and he promised to give bitcoins to all his teamates if he gets in All Star in February.
1917  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who Says Forks Are Bad? on: January 11, 2020, 08:45:49 PM
It's simple to see and yet many failed to see the truth, many said coin forks are bad because they are just copycat of the original coin well so far all forks from popular coins are doing well, last bullrun all forks like bitcoincash, Ethereum classic, litecoincash all bring huge profits more than their original mothers, who says forks are bad? I thought we are all here for the profits? Honestly aren't this coins more better than most new coins of nowadays?

There are blockchain forks and protocol forks. All are copycats. But blockchain forks like BCH or ETC also reward all BTC and ETH holders with free coins.  All copies with very little changes have no future.
1918  Economy / Economics / Re: Global Wave of Debt Is Largest, Fastest in 50 Years on: January 11, 2020, 06:57:33 PM
Global Wave of Debt Is Largest, Fastest in 50 Years

Man do you need articles to know this?  Just look around you. 50 years ago you go to bank to take a loan if you build house. Today when you go buy car they dont even want to sell you unless you take it on debt. Economy we have is totally degenerated. Use now to pay tomorrow.
1919  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin going beyond $14,000 before May, history repeating itself on: January 11, 2020, 06:24:52 PM
The question will become to which quarter (Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4) it will happen - top up above $14.000.

Before May is only Q1 or Q2. So considering article you quoted this is not the question. Halving pump should happen in end of April and start of May. And dumb will follow at end of May and beginning of June.
1920  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: January 11, 2020, 04:53:20 PM
Whatever fierce-uk writes is always and attack on Monero. It is a way to put attention on his copy of Monero.  Yes he makes his attacks wisely. It took two years that he was baned from Monero subreddit after he was caught paying people to spam Monero subreddit. And he was doing it for at least a year. Simply abusing Monero subreddit liberal moderation.

Price going over 0.0075. Maybe time to never look back again. Smiley
