1921  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Meme Coin Will Survive Long on: June 22, 2021, 10:42:19 AM
In my opinion only doge will survive because any others meme coins besides of doge just copycat for DOGE. Btw DOGE has a BIG supporter + loyal to support this coin and doge already stay at top 100 cmc for more than 3 years.
They are not copycat of Dogecoin but they are copycats of SHIBA $SHIB. Dogecoin is a meme token but it does not run on ERC20 chain or Binance Smart Chain.

It seems to see that Shiba is a promising project and as we can see, the price of this altcoin is high. I can't expect that it was a meme coin, not exactly how it looks for me. I think it is a need for us to divert our mind from thinking that meme coins are shit or useless. Remember that many altcoins around that are much more than shit and many of them are long dead already.

It is quite to know that Doge has existed in the market for many years and it remains to belong at the top 20 altcoins in the market.  I think that seems to prove that even it was a meme coin there is still a chance to grow in the market and these two coins (Doge and Shiba) will able to compete with others.
SHIBA is the leader of the 2020 and 2021 meme tokens and it is good to survive.

The bottom line for their survivals is they need to be used by the community, for trading or for gambling, or for other things. If they only can be traded on exchanges, swapped on DEX, when the meme token trend is over, they will die.

Meme tokens that have other usages might better survive.
1922  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto - place where promise is worth more than product on: June 21, 2021, 11:27:04 AM
Crypto projects only show their real values when the market is bearish. In such bearish market, you will discover about 10  or 20% of projects are really live with developments, community expansion, partnerships, etc. You can not conclude they are good projects but from that list of 10 or 20%, you can do more researches and find a few good projects to invest.

Those projects might likely be the ones will keep up their promises with real developments, real products and keep moving forwards with Bitcoin and the market. They can not release good products as they promised because nothing perfect can be done all times. At least you can say they might hardly die.
1923  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC fall below $30,000? The high-yield risk opportunities are in MEME? on: June 21, 2021, 11:17:48 AM
I am now neutral on whether the bull market is still in place.

If the market changes to a big bull market, does it mean that meme coin has better returns?

After all, there is only 1-3 times the room for BTC to increase. Memes coins such as Dogecoin, SHiba, Dogira, TadPoleTADP and other animail coins have even higher declines, and rebound gains will be dozens of times. maybe? What do you think?
Meme tokens won't rise if Bitcoin falls to below $30,000. That fall of Bitcoin will cause another crash in the crypto market like the one happened in May.

Dogecoin, SHIBA and many meme tokens are all overvalued even they all fell down too much from their all time highs. If you want to buy a lottery ticket but feel not sure about that, then now want to gamble with meme tokens, you can do it.

There are many better cryptocurrencies on the market, with real products, real usages, not useless like meme tokens. Why do you not consider them?
1924  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Meme Coin Will Survive Long on: June 20, 2021, 09:44:12 AM
talking about elon musk support, i read this article:

Even Elon Musk can't save Dogecoin from crashing another 60%, analyst asserts

it seems that the forecast is that dogecoin will drop 60% in the next few months and this time elon musk will not be able to prevent this huge price drop. the future will show us if this price forecast is wrong
Dogecoin has smaller marketcap than Bitcoin and Elon can not save Bitcoin from 50% drop. Don't wish that Elon can save Dogecoin with 50% drop or 200% drop. In addition, why do Elon have to save Dogecoin? Price crash will help him to buy cheaper Dogecoin and prepare for another tweet.

Elon is not responsible for fall of Bitcoin or Dogecoin. Price has to be fallen as natural price movement in any market. Bitcoin and Dogecoin would have not risen too much if Elon had not tweeted about them but they have to correct without Elon Musk.
1925  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what is the ideal price difference that people use to arbitrage bitcoin? on: June 20, 2021, 06:03:02 AM
for example looking at Binance the price has been about $300 to $350 below the market price and that is about 0.83% to 1% difference which looks good enough for bitcoin with a highly liquid market to me.
From 1.3% to 1.7% can be good because you can wait for liquidation for margin trades that will happen many times within a day.

I can not say how much the difference is in price as it depends on price of Bitcoin. With Bitcoin price around $35,660, differences from $460 to $600 are good to trade.
1926  Economy / Speculation / Re: Btc down trend are started ? on: June 19, 2021, 02:24:00 PM
If you think the trend is down, it began weeks ago. If you think the trend is still up, the market is in accumulation phase after correction weeks ago.

Death cross and golden cross don't work correctly for Bitcoin. Very few times you see those crosses are correct with trend because of coincidence. Sometimes and you will more often see in bull market, fake death cross. After few months of accumulation, price rises again and gets new all time highs.
1927  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happen if company allocate 90% token for stake reward on: June 19, 2021, 01:56:33 PM
It's just like a supply and demand, if there's a supply and no demand you can expect the price to go down and it'll go on the other side if there's a demand and have a limited supply. So the project must attract more investors either it's staking of any kind of passive income they have to do the work, this is crypto market after all there's no guaranteed profit and the price is very volatile so expect the worse every time you invest.
It is about supply and demand. More supply will be given after early days of staking and demand can be the same or not increase at the same rate of new supply from staking rewards. This unbalance between supply and demand causes price dump for staking coins. Apply it to yield and farm tokens too.

Another risk is from the massacre on the market, if it appears it will cause double effects and dump the price more.
1928  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happen if company allocate 90% token for stake reward on: June 19, 2021, 01:45:17 PM
And every one just keep earn those token by staking . And higher chances 90% token will go to  public hand sooner or later When reward pool is end. Will it not cause negative effect in token price and everyone just keep dump their staking reward tokens and keep dumping token price.
Staking will be like this.

- The earlier you join the party, the more reward you will receive from staking.
- The early price can be high or expensive but it will be dumped soon because of reason 1.
- If you join and stake in early days, sell them all when you double your coins and can sell it to get your capital back.
- The rest coins you have, after the sell, you can use them to keep staking.
If you get luck, price does not dump too much, you will get good profit.

This staking strategy help you to protect your capital, and gamble with the rest coins for profit.

90% go to public hands, it does not matter. The matter is premined coins, preminted tokens. You must check those info.
1929  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Charles Hoskinson's Take on Bitcoin on: June 17, 2021, 10:41:03 AM
And as far as I know, based on 'store of value', it should be for long term and not just for a month or 30 days. So still, it falls under the definition if you are going to hold for years, just like the majority here.
Many investors or holders lost their patience and had losses because they sold their bitcoin before the rally in late of 2020. If they had hold their bitcoin from late 2017 to late 2020, they would have not gotten any loss. They got losses because they don't have enough patience or only have short-sighted, short term investment view.

Their losses are made up of their impatience, bad entries, severity of market, short-sight.
Quote
In any case, Charles Hoskinson take is not new to us, so what else is expected, not just from him but from the rest of those who are going to criticised bitcoin. And it seems that there argument sounded like a broken record already.
More criticism appears in bear market than in bull market.
1930  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Charles Hoskinson's Take on Bitcoin on: June 17, 2021, 08:39:15 AM
If you fast-forward the podcast to 1:38:50 Charles begins to discuss his issues with Bitcoin and what he finds to be the "problems" with Bitcoin. Initially, this really excited me because I love a good argument against Bitcoin from one of the cryptospace's most popular. While I was hoping for a unique, fresh take on Bitcoin's issues, I ended up getting the same progressive response aimed at Bitcoin's lack of "improvement". This turned out to be the same regurgitation of words mixed with some clever verbiage, which I found boring put quite frankly.
Charles can talk about his opinion, everyone else can too.

Everyone can see and say Bitcoin is not perfect and need to be improved more and faster. Everyone can say they find better cryptocurrency than Bitcoin and choose it for their digital transactions or investment.

The matter is, their thought does not mean it is right and Bitcoin is bad or worse than others. Bitcoin has biggest network (see its hashrate) and if anyone says Bitcoin has low block (10 minutes), I agree. It does not mean Bitcoin is worse than other cryptocurrency as a transaction method.

If you want safety, safety first, Bitcoin is the best.
Else if you want only speed, faster than 10 minutes or you need your transactions get confirmed in a few seconds, choose altcoins but they are not safe.

It is not correct to say Bitcoin is lack of improvement. I disagree.
1931  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No DOGE Allowed? Thai SEC Bans Meme, Fan and Exchange Tokens as Well as NFTs on: June 16, 2021, 04:48:15 AM
They are only doing their job to protect investors as well as the citizen who may be attracted to these cryptos with less knowledge because they are tempted to see or read news about the huge profits made during the crazy price increase of meme coins.
When laws to protect their citizens from criminal activities with crypto currency are vague, they need to do prevention for their citizens. I see they have good aims for their restrictions. They do this for their governmental and law system and for their citizens and preventive restrictions bring mutual benefits for many sides: governments, governmental staffs, systems, and citizens.

It's understandable, as we all know that there are a lot of crypto hypes like Meme coins and then NFT's. They just wanted to protect their people, so there local SEC needs to come forward and take actions about it.

It's obvious that this craze has taken the world by storm, and the Thai government, although I would say crypto friendly, will have to draw the line here. No Thai's are going to be the next victim here.
When crypto market has big hypes, governments after a few months of silent observations and considerations, will take law actions and I have been in crypto long enough to see this is a natural and positive actions and adaptation from governments.

In nations where cryptocurrency tradings, exchanges are not protected, citizens have to accept risks if they have trades with criminals. Laws will protect them and it is what they want to have. I don't see how they will be panic when there are more laws to protect them.
1932  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: busd or USDT safe on: June 15, 2021, 03:57:32 AM
However, if you are trading on PancakeSwap for example, you can only use BUSD and USDC as a stablecoin. I hope someday Tether will roll out its fourth network and issue its BEP20 tokens on the Binance Smart Chain.
As competitors, I don't see a future when Tether USD and Binance USD cooperate with each other. It won't happen soon in my opinion because Binance have their solid position and their ecoystem is on a good growth track with Binance Smart Chain, Pancakeswap.

Quote
In my opinion, the best stablecoin is USDT. Tether is a well-known, high-cap currency that is rated 3th on CoinMarketCap. The current capitalization of Binance-USD is seven times less.
Tether USD is more popular on exchanges than BUSD need more time as well as better adoption to increase its real trading volume. Pancakeswap will give BUSD a good support.

Quote
BNB, BUSD and BSC are fully affiliated with Binance, so they will all crash at the same time if this large centralized exchange gets hacked or goes bankrupt. So far BUSD is the best choice for trading on the Binance Smart Chain.
Binance ecosystem with BNB first, and later BUSD, BSC will have mutual support for each growth and together they will help to make Binance greater.
1933  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: busd or USDT safe on: June 15, 2021, 03:37:35 AM
busd and usdt are coins with stable prices so, just the same if they are stored it does not affect storage and will not make them 1.5 usd the coin wilt. that's my opinion
USDT is bigger than BUSD and is the biggest stable coin but the BUSD (Binance USD) is growing. The trading volume of BUSD is up too much in January 2021 but in fact it has been growing since its launch.

Volume is rising long trend and despite of the fall recent months, the trend is up. BUSD is connected with Binance and when Binance is growing well, this stable coin will get good support from that company. However, centralization has its risk.
1934  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GOLD - First 100% Liquid Stablecoin Backed by Gold on: June 14, 2021, 04:11:47 AM
Great that you have written this because this remind of something. Of course, I also did stupid mistake and have sent once my GOLD tokens to Binance ETH deposit address.

https://etherscan.io/address/0x8005746c8562bb8a9f2e3096cd50523f17341e26#tokentxns

I can see fees transferred from this address before hack to GOLD contract but when I asked Binance for help and to end back my stucked tokens of course they refused, or at all not responded to me after few emails.
I was in panic when I made that mistakes. Fortunately, I was able to cancel it on time.

Exchanges never want to give such support and I can understand it. They don't want to leak their private key or mnemonic seed because of support for users. Especially if the fund need to be recovered is small. They don't want to exposure their keys to public eyes and put their exchange's fund in risks.

If they give support, their extra fee for such support is excessive and is not worth to try.

1935  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No DOGE Allowed? Thai SEC Bans Meme, Fan and Exchange Tokens as Well as NFTs on: June 14, 2021, 04:05:57 AM
i believe, they will rectify their regulation sooner or later. because once they understand about the existence of exchange tokens, like BNB or UNI, they will allow it. right now, they are just super precautious on this aspect. the same with NFTs. because if this will be utilised by their known athletes or personalities, NFT market can help their artists to gain income.
They unify all exchange tokens as scam and bad. They reacted similarly to what they did in the past with Bitcoin and cryptocurrency. Scammers try to adapt and use new tools to scam people. Their tools can be bank transfers, giftcards, Bitcoin, cryptocurrency. Bitcoin is good but no one can prevent scammers to abuse Bitcoin for their scams.

Same for exchange tokens. Governments will make rectifications and now I think their regulations are good. When you are scammed, you will feel scary about cryptocurrency and might never join the market again.

Quote
meme tokens are on the other hand need strict regulations because most of them are just copy-paste and crap with short lifespan.
this is their initial reaction towards this market, but high likely that they will change their stance once they learn more about this kind of tokens.
Meme tokens are not only scam assets in crypto. Shit altcoins and many DeFi projects are same. Meme, DeFi, NFT, ICO, IDO, IEO, etc. all are names and trends to be compromised by scammers.
1936  Economy / Speculation / Re: ✅ We are currently in a year where the trend for Bitcoin on: June 13, 2021, 11:43:51 AM
Bitcoin is huge growth, a big price correction in that year is not without predecent (ie 2013).
BTC still primed to go to 100k by EOY 🚀
History does not always repeat itself and we can not put our whole lives and capital or savings with history patterns, fractals. People can feel more interested in Bitcoin investment, more adoption might occur but together with opportunities and growth, governments will become more seriously control the market.

Bitcoin is already showing a bearish trend, although trading has rebounded in recent months. The Bitcoin futures curve has suffered a setback that formed for the most part in 2018, before Bitcoin fell 74% after its biggest gain in 2017.
so a trend like this might happen and getting to 100k is very possible
$100k for Bitcoin. It is possible but I don't know how long this bearish time will last and when it will finish. It can be a mini bear market or a big bear matter and it can last for a few months or a few years. I don't know. I am thinking of the first scenario (mini bear market) but I don't exclude the second scenario (big bear market)
1937  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There must not be more penny coins like Safemoon or Shib on: June 13, 2021, 11:27:23 AM
There must not be more penny coins like Safemoon or Shib
No one can prevent their appearances. With source codes, coders can create their clone tokens to join the market. It is an easy part, a beginning of a game.

Succeeded or not, it is another issue and belong to the future, the market phase, the response of investors, the temporary hype trend.
No DOGE Allowed? Thai SEC Bans Meme, Fan and Exchange Tokens as Well as NFTs. Such hype and risky trend like these will never last long.

Governments, national SECs react with ICOs, IEOs, IDOs and they will react with meme tokens, NFTs. The South Korea is the most serious nation with restrictions on cryptocurrency. After the blazing growth, their governments took actions and controlled the hype, to protect their people from scam projects.
1938  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No DOGE Allowed? Thai SEC Bans Meme, Fan and Exchange Tokens as Well as NFTs on: June 13, 2021, 11:19:46 AM
Prevention is better than cure and this regulation from Thai SEC is over serious but I think it is not bad at all. With the serious action from Thai SEC, partial of Thailand investors will be protected by their SEC, it is good.

No headache and good for crypto newbies. Meme tokens, NFTs, fan tokens etc. are the easiest ways to lose capital. Exchange tokens have two types from good and scam exchanges. This part is what the Thai SEC is too serious.

They include tokens of big and good exchanges into their list  Roll Eyes

Exchange tokens such as those issued by Binance (BNB), Uniswap (UNI), FTX (FTT) that allow holders to get benefits such as reduced transaction fees on the corresponding exchange.
1939  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Uniswap Token Price Prediction on: June 12, 2021, 01:20:32 PM
Previously UNI did reach $50, but UNI experienced a deep dump when the Bitcoin price was also corrected,
I'm really sorry I didn't sell it at the new ATH price, and I sold it at $35, yes I did get a profit, but the profit was not optimal,
and from now on I'm still accumulating UNI continuously, the target of $ 100 of course can be achieved if the project is still running well
You never know what is all time high. When you know where it is, price already falls to much lower price.

I used to feel regret like you but after many times like that, I no longer react that way. Nowadays, I feel happy when I take profit and don't care, don't feel regret if price rises more. Profit means happiness. Profit is my aim for trading or investing.

$100 is possible but $50 is good enough to take profit again. You can do scalping trade around $50 and increase your amount of $UNI.

yes, problem solved. Thanks
Turns out it took longer than before. or indeed because the Btc network is too congested or other causes.
But most importantly the transaction is back to normal. Good job, Digital Gold always be the best .
The Gold marketplace has some small delayed issues in the past but such operational issues happen on any platform. The good things is Gold team fix it and bring the smooth Marketplace back to perfect many times.

patience is a virtue my friend  Wink

Digital Gold team already proved that they are solid and can be fully trusted, I have no doubts about them.

GOLD token and Marketplace works as usual, with ETH transaction I waited literally 3 minutes to get it swapped.

I have used Marketplace a lot in the past and in last few days, can't see any difference, works great as always.
I did not use the Marketplace after I received my payment for previous 3 months but will use it soon.

Your comments and @taufik remind me that I used to make stupid mistakes with my transactions in Marketplace. Something like I put a wrong receiving address for that trade. The transaction fortunately was stucked for a while, and long enough for me to cancel it on my side.

Sometimes, small delay is our gift.  Grin

If anyone does not know how to do, check the [GUIDE] How to cancel or replace an ETH transaction (Metamask, MEW, MyCrypto)
