I started mining at block 100 and I'm sure others got in earlier... It wasn't that bad. Found a block with 100 coins....looks like all the premine bonus blocks are gone
Looking at the time of launch, number of pages in this topic I say: coin creator had many GPU rigs ready @ launch. Diff went up like crazy in such a short time. Sounds like it. Even CNC with its "speed" didn't rise so quick :p Block retarget time is like four times lower than chinacoin/feathercoin... Did you even read OP? IMO this is better because the network is reaching it's natural speed faster where as china/feathercoin just stagnated at an artificially low difficulty forever...

well theres miner configs that are better suited to mining new blocks ive been told. youre supposed to set a bunch of the values really low. queue time and expiry are two of them i think. and when difficulty is low blocks are solved near instantly so its very likely people are finding blocks at the same time as you. i am not an expert on this though

as far as i understand it, the block has to be propogated across the network and accepted by the majority of clients to be considered accepted. so your block was just slower than someone elses if you got a reject.
That sounds reasonable, but I seem to get rejected the same second I find a block. .b it all happens in the blink of an eye... if you go to google.cn youre sending data and receiving a reply in under a tenth of a second to china.. quite amazing when you think about it anyway, same scenario for bitcoin... you might have a latency of 50ms to the network but someone else might have 40ms..

hundreds of other people finding a block at the same time as you... only one can stick
Is there a lag-time from when someone finds a block and the network picks it up? Take RYC right now. Blocks solve around every 1 minute. The odds of someone finding a block at exactly the same second as I do in 95% of the cases seem at first glance to be too much of a coinsidence. I know it's happening, I just don't understand why. Do you have any technical references or links? I tried googling and searching the forums here, but couldn't find anything descriptive. .b as far as i understand it, the block has to be propogated across the network and accepted by the majority of clients to be considered accepted. so your block was just slower than someone elses if you got a reject.

YACoin was released 1.5 days late... I was there for the launch, but only by luck...

Both have stupid names. But then again I guess BBQCoin did too, and it got on an exchange. Altcoins are a funny business My vote goes towards RoyalCoin.

|

LOL 2k blocks already?
Chinacoin and feathercoin both had more blocks than that at around this timeframe after launch... Didn't seem to stop them from doing well

Someone needs to setup a trading spreadsheet!
WTB all your royalcoins, PM me to work out a deal. Current market price seems to be .1 BTC per thousand.

The OP is just in it for the potential money.
If you do a reverse IP on his site, his other sites are promoting Clickbank like products..
dermajuvenateblog.ne elevategfblog.com liposlenderreview.com royalcoin.org
clearly, he's just some guy that changed the numbers around and wants to profit off this sudden alt coin craze...if we don't give him the support, this coin will never live!
Man this forums is just full of idiots lately... You clearly aren't a webmaster. The site is probably running on shared hosting, I can't imagine they bought anything more than that for such a simple website. Just because they're running on the same server doesn't mean they're ran by the same people. I'd say you're mad that you missed the boat, but the boat hasn't left yet Why you mad bro?!

Blocks are being mined so fast due to the ridiculously low difficulty that the client can't even stay updated.
Just like feathercoin and chinacoin and yacoin and junkcoin... What else is new in the alt coin world? Hopefully with the 480 block retarget it should get up to speed fast. It's orphan city right now.

I started mining at block 100... This wasn't premined.
