What a stupidly pointless premined scamcoin, nice work.
1742  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] Introducing Feathercoin2, a feathercoin fork! With windows binaries! on: May 14, 2013, 05:05:24 PM
are people serious about this?
Yes, this is a serious coin. And it's launch has been very smooth so far!
1743  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] Introducing Feathercoin2, a feathercoin fork! With windows binaries! on: May 14, 2013, 05:01:33 PM
FC2 going strong, currently at 2000 blocks!
1744  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] Introducing Feathercoin2, a feathercoin fork! With windows binaries! on: May 14, 2013, 04:59:02 PM
Additionally, FC2 has been secured against the "blockchain replacement" attack that occured with coins like gamecoin.

Truly innovative!

1746  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Bounty in BTC] Elacoin windows -qt binary ( Need donators aswell ) on: May 14, 2013, 04:55:48 PM
Didn't Hazard successfully compile it the first time?
Yes, but I refuse to support this garbage this time around. The developer has proven himself to be extraordinarily inept, and I refuse to help him in any way, shape, or form.

I encourage you to ditch elacoin and try out feathercoin2. Unlike elacoin, feathercoin2 has windows support!

I'm going to wait for feathercoin3 android binaries.

Still a better lovestory than ElaCoin...
FC2 has a working windows client, so yes. We're already leaps and bounds better than the competition.
1753  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] Introducing Feathercoin2, a feathercoin fork! With windows binaries! on: May 14, 2013, 04:45:39 PM
Feathercoin has a stalled blocked chain.
Feathercoin2 does not.

Feathercoin2 is the clear winner here!
1754  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] Introducing Feathercoin2, a feathercoin fork! on: May 14, 2013, 04:43:18 PM
The critics agree, FC2 is the most innovative coin yet. Shocked
1755  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] Introducing Feathercoin2, a feathercoin fork! on: May 14, 2013, 04:38:49 PM
Finally, a coin with windows support! Feathercoin2 is truly innovative.

Please run the client in a virtual machine if you are concerned... Or not at all. More FC2 for me!
1756  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] Introducing Feathercoin2, a feathercoin fork that offers nothing new! on: May 14, 2013, 04:34:40 PM

1758  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / [ANN] Introducing Firecoin˛, an honest scrypt based coin. on: May 14, 2013, 04:31:41 PM

Firecoin2 initially began as a Feathercoin2, a joke coin created to poke fun at all the recent altcoin releases. However, after a surprisingly smooth launch, and some community support, it has been decided that this coin will relaunch as Firecoin2. I currently consider this to be a community created and maintained coin, as I have had little involvement (other than recompiling the client) in the transition to Firecoin2.

Firecoin2 has a block reward of 200 coins and will have a total of 336 million coins.

Default port is 9131 – Forwarding this port can help if you have connection problems
Default RPC port is 9132 - This is the port is point your miners towards if solo mining
Block target is 150 seconds
Difficulty changes every 2016 blocks
Block reward halves every 840,000 blocks

Laughing so hard... How can you idiots rally behind a coin creating by such a moron.. It blows my mind.
1760  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [OFFICIAL ELACOIN ANNOUNCMENT] Elacoin is a Scam on: May 14, 2013, 03:53:01 PM
It does seem to be a scam, someone started mining using the old code from github that has not finished being coded yet, for example it does not even have the starting difficulty adjusted yet.

Give the guy time to finish coding his coin and make a real genesis block for it and launch it for real.

-MarkM-

You must have missed what happened last night.

He officially launched the coin. And it's a flop.

Have a look @ the current hashrate idiot. Its one of the most successfull launches so far.
* No windows client
* Botched release, twice
* Idiot dev who doesn't understand programming at all

That's what we call a fail, guys.

All of them can be fixed...
You can't fix stupid. The dev literally has no idea how to code, no idea how to compile.

Is that who you want to be in charge of a cryptocurrency? I sure as hell don't.

As far as hashrate goes, royalcoin still has a higher hashrate than elacoin, and it's been out for almost a week now. Elacoin failed.
