1941  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: High price but no volume on: January 05, 2020, 10:13:25 PM
It's back to square one if you are holding a coin or token for long term and finally altcoin season comes and the token or coin surge in value but has no trading volume on exchange, all your efforts and pain while holding is total waste, do not hold tokens or coins that have no demands, real use cases are what makes them very demanding

Lol. If a coin have no use and so no demand it will never have any value. Yes it can have today value that is made by promoting that coin with the money you gave them for the coins you have. Why would something useless have any value?

1943  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: History of Cryptotalk campaign on: January 05, 2020, 06:26:06 PM
The more places where is crypto disused is better. Talking about stealing anything is dumb. 1+1 is always 3. Lets hope this year 2 more forums like bitcointalk and cryptotalk will appear.
1944  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What altcoins are you bullish about in 2020? on: January 05, 2020, 05:25:16 PM
What altcoins are you bullish about in 2020?

Everyone that uses Cryptocoins or develops economy for them or coins itself talk about how fungibility matter. How opaque ledger cryptocurrencies matter. They talk about Monero, but simply fail to name it. You can heat Andreas Antonopoulos or Brian Armstrong or girl that helped start MyEther wallet (sorry have no ideas of her name).  Think who to trust to know this answer. Those that use it and those that develops and answer peoples questions and problems. They see what future will bring. Dont be fooled by some bullshit sweet words.
1945  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I just Got 2000 Coins For Free with Staking on: January 05, 2020, 05:03:24 PM
I just Got 2000 Coins For Free with Staking

Think about it a bit more. Everyone staking got new coins for free. Where this value come from? Is project worth more because of it? It is not. Nothing was really achieved. So no new value was made. You got new coins but coins you have are worth less now. Luckily you had them stacking and you got this new 2000 coins. So overall you did not lose anything. But those that just have coins and not staking them lost.  That is PoS.
1946  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin inflation on: January 05, 2020, 04:42:38 PM
When the next Halvening event occurs , BTC inflation will be @ 1%.

Do you think the Federal Reserve will cut interest rates to ensure that they keep up with this?

You are mixing emission inflation with price inflation. Or even mention interest rates.  After halving Bitcoin emission will go close to Gold mining inflation. That is around 1.7% per year.  Average USD emission of M1 in last 10 years was around 10% a year. In case of war that will increase drastically.

You even have pined post in here  explaining you the difference: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=140793.0

Is Bitcoin Cash the real Bitcoin?

Monero is what you thought Bitcoin is when you first bought it. It does not matter if Satoshi wanted to make bitcoin the same way as Monero is built.
1948  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Fantom is the first project which will have Central Bank backing. on: January 04, 2020, 07:00:31 PM
Fantom is the first project which will have Central Bank backing.

I dont think it is first. Petro is backed by Central bank of Venezuela. I believe are few more or at least will be before this coin you mention will be issued.

Crypto Pyramid Schemes are still Amongst Us

All PoS or masternode coins are ponzi pyramids. Sooner or later they will collapse the same way as all ponzi pyramides so far. And there are plenty out there.

How the situation in Iran might impact Bitcoin

I would like to hear what people here in the community think about it.
As far as I know, when there is a war, people are taking their money out of the stock market because they fear of instability.

I wonder what a situation like this may cause to the crypto market.

Current situation not much but if Iran answer provocations. They most likely will not since are provocated for over a year. Then uncertainty will increase a lot and in uncertain times Bitcoin price will grow drastically.
1952  Economy / Speculation / Re: I Bet Bitcoin Reaches $10k In the Next 5-7 Days! on: January 04, 2020, 03:34:48 PM
Anyone wants to take me on a bet Bitcoin price reaches $10,000+ in 5-7 days? After the bitcoin's record breaking network hash rate news[/url] come out, BTC lost $300+ (traded below $7k), then gain $500+ within hours.

Man you dont need to bet when you know price will increase for over 30%. Just buy some Bitcoin and profit. For every 3 USD you will make extra one for you. Smiley
1953  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: January 03, 2020, 09:13:21 PM
Monero is the hottest coin of Proof of Keys day, but no one is speculating about it.

Any more info about it? How is that so exactly?

Its price went up while all others were still in red and then they shyly start to follow.

Telegram refuses SEC's demands - Deposition this month

When you have 1,7 Billion USD you can play games with SEC. All what can SEC do is give penalties. So Few millions out of those $1.7 billions will be given to them. Bankers will bank!

1956  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: So how exactly will the halving of bitcoin block reward benefit bitcoin. on: January 03, 2020, 05:15:55 PM
So how exactly will the halving of bitcoin block reward benefit bitcoin.

It will reduce yearly emission inflation to close to what is Golds yearly mining emission. So new Bitcoin/Gold coming into existence compared to all the other existing Gold/Bitcoin.   It will not benefit Bitcoin in any way. It will only reduce supply pressure what should positively influence price of Bitcoin. So price of Bitcoin and not Bitcoin itself.

He is never in trouble. He will just make something up. Do not worry for him. He is way to smart.
1959  Economy / Economics / Re: Trump has disregarded the deficit, a key campaign promise. on: January 03, 2020, 03:09:43 PM
If I remember right. George Bush increased the deficit by $5 trillion. Obama succeeded him and increased the deficit by $10 trillion.
We had a massive expansion of the deficit on our hands and the media completely ignored it.
Nothing was said about the deficit until Trump was elected. Now the media which completely ignored Bush and Obama is crucifying Trump for expanding the deficit far less than his predecessors did.
Its a shady and bizarre situation.

I dont see any bizarre here. Trump said he will reduce deficit. No one before him said that. He did not do it. That is bizarre. Saying something and not do it.   But on other hand more bizarre are suckers that trusted Trump to not expand deficit.
