Hey FAILers,
We have GREAT news! Our lead developer pnoch will be able to work a bit more often on FAILCoin, and it seems that we will finally finish it as we wanted! I know that probably most of you have lost patience, but believe us, it's hard to work without funds. All of us has problems in real life, but no matter what, we will continue and finish what we have started!
Stay FAILed!
P.S. We already told you that we expect few more members to join FAIL team, but details will be revealed in the next few days. They are not investors like Barry Silbert (for example), but they embraced our idea and they wanted to be a part of it!
Best regards, Spartak

Drak is online 24/7 and he doesn't need to come by to this thread and say "Hey, I'm still here."... Like the guy on the video, which derrend posted said - it is the people who gives value of the currencies (in this case - cryptocurrencies). VIA has everything it needs (except, imho, marketing) and it is a better (and more secure) coin than many others, which are currently with higher price.

If I had the funds and time I would start a Blockchain Bus which we could use to promote blockchain tech and Cryptocurrencies ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Soon, buddy, soon. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

I can talk with some people here in Bulgaria and they can buy them. They can pay in cash or via bank transfer. Current average price of Bitcoin is $423.38, their current price is 727 BGN or $407, but I believe I can get a better rate for such amount.
If you can get 1 bitcoin at that rate send me a pm maybe we can talk on this. But regarding the thread. I can't see this ending well for the person who buys that amount all at one time. Get a signed message showing he actually is holding that amount of coins. Which without any previous trades or trust here, this is doubtful. I'd be checking over the guy (or gal) who wants to turn up on your door step with a bag of cash (even $ 100 USA notes comes to 1100 - 1200 notes) Run a UV light over the cash, check for water marks that sort of thing... Like I said, the guys can pay via bank transfer as well. It depends on the seller. A friend of mine sold 60 BTC to these guys few months ago and decided to take the money in cash. One of the places is a legit (and rather famous) "Change bureau". I doubt that people are going with UV lights when they are exchanging money there. I also doubt that the bureau would risk their business for such amount (it might be big for us, but it's not that big for them). Anyway, I think that those 280 BTC does not exist....

Imho, its the victim's fault for losing their funds, but this thread should not be turned into in "I know better" type of opinions.

We are planning an after event giveaway (We still have a custom Raspberry Pi from the DigitalCoin team and some other swag to giveaway). We will plan how best to run the giveaway (if anyone has any ideas let us know) and post back shortly.
The feedback on Twitter for the event has been very positive, Thanks guys!
Is it a giveaway for everyone on the net? Well, you can make some kind of puzzle or a question. And anyone who knows the answer correctly the first time, there goes the winner. That would be too easy. You can just google it. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

Hey FAILers, We have some news for you. Firstly, I want to thank to CryptoID's owner fairglu, who waited us for more than 20 days about the payment for the FAILCoin's block explorer! Thank you, man! Secondly, I want to share something that none of the FAIL team members knows (except me). Two developers (from 2 different countries) offered their help for FAIL. I have talked about that with our lead developer pnoch. I'm not sure if we will need their help, but will talk with them this weekend and see if it's worth to involve these guys. Thirdly, yogg was a FAIL team member who disappeared for a while, because of personal issues (I know them, but that's something private). We are now talking every day with him and I'll try to bring him back in the team, because he's a good guy. Lastly, we want to remind you that FAILCoin will be forked ( NO ETA's, but it will happen SOON) and it will become Full PoS. We still can't give you exact details about the new specs, but it will be most likely with 2% interest/year. Thank you for the miners who are still mining FAIL and support the network! We can promise them that they will be rewarded greatly! Best regards, Spartak

How many banks or stock exchanges would you do business with , that lost your money and did not report it to law enforcement. Because at the end of the day , the actual crime occurred on their virtual premises.
To me it's like losing your wallet and somehow find out that the money in it were used in one particular store. Then fill a lawsuit against that store, because they took the money.

I would also appreciate, if Bittrex, as a responsible business, would compensate my losses at least partially. LOL wtf...I have bad OPSEC give me my money back... You sir are first class asshole, 100% cock sucker. It's a woman... ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif)

So far the only common denominator has been Bittrex.
It seems like a 3rd Party should be called in to investigate everyone's claims.
Why? As far as I know, nothing is pointing that the fault is on Bittrex. I believe that they continue to investigate the issue and will share the results with the people, which accounts were compromised.
|
|
|
Perhaps you are right that nothing can be done here, but at least we can try to identify and find that scum.
I'm sure that Bittrex guys already tried (and probably continue) to figure this out, but with no luck.

I don't think this is an inside job. From what I've understood, so far 3 people confirmed they were "hacked" and 23,5 BTC were lost. That's a lot (at least from my perspective), but it would be stupid for Bittrex to risk their reputation for such amount. Imho, Richie is right (I'm not kissing your ass!) to act somehow diplomatic and not to reveal some things (such as how many accounts were compromised). Bittrex also didn't announce it on Twitter, which is again the right way, because otherwise it may cause unnecessary panic. Guys (those who lost your coins), I can only imagine how you feel about this and I'm really, really sorry for your loss, but it seems like nothing can be done here. ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif)

Dear FAILers, Looks like EmpoEX have decided not to sell their exchange, and most (if not all) of the wallets are no longer in maintenance. Feel free to trade FAIL (or any coin you want). This weekend we might have a surprise regarding the FAILCoin development. We have a work plan and currently pnoch is working on it, but frankly speaking, we are not sure what part of it will be ready first. He's not telling us anything!!! We will finish what we have started no matter what!Stay FAILed! Best regards, Spartak Tomanov

Guys, Looks like EmpoEx guys decided not to sale their exchange, so it seems that they will continue to work with it (and with the coin). Give them a break. I can say they were always good with me for example. Cheers, Spartak
