1981  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Future of NFT on: January 19, 2023, 10:47:09 AM
I think if they start to focus on one company that is producing NFTs from famous people, it would be easy for them to improve it in the future and to make it more popular and also a real item that could be sold at its given price. But instead, people are making NFTs all over the world loosely and the result is not really good because no more will gonna demand when everyone becomes a producer of their own NFT.
1982  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: January 19, 2023, 09:38:47 AM
The Mavs are in a better spot right now. Luka just need to make his teammates getting involved more offensively.

As long as they're winning most of their games, his teammates will not gonna say anything against him at least for now, because all of them need to climb to the top to be able to be recognized and get some nice offer in the future. But before that, they really need to do something for their 3rd losing streak because if they don't change, they will gonna find themselves in a 10th spot soon. They need to take this chance to win every playoff game and have a chance to get to the Finals and finally, Luka can talk about anything he wants regarding the NBA games after that.
1983  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Genesis Bankrupt, Impact on BTC? on: January 19, 2023, 08:28:08 AM
Need to observe what the scenario will be in the upcoming weeks because maybe it won't affect the crypto market in a worse way. If we want to get to the point where we wanted to save our money, we could have sold out BTC when the time price was 30k+ but most people prefer not to sell it right now or convert it to any other altcoins right there because it's preferable always to wait when it comes for bitcoins and we already know it always recover no matter how bad the situation was in the past.
1984  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 18, 2023, 12:44:41 PM

Also, Donaire is more suited in the bantamweight division rather than looking for a title at 115 pounds as I'm inclined that his career might end sooner that what he expected. Having a fight against Moloney for the vacant title is already a good opportunity for Donaire to display his prowess again in this division that he was once a champion, it will be a perfect bout for him to test if he can still do few more fights or it's time for him to hang up his gloves.

It's such a waste to go on retirement soon when he still feeling it and he still can punch to knock out his opponent. since this boxing industry gathers huge money, it's really hard for those like Donaire to turn away from offers while he still can box and can give the fans excited when he fights in the ring. I think he will stop when he will gonna suffers the same loss again when he will gonna be knockout out cold or can no longer take some punches like how he used to be in his prime. right now, his speed is not the same anymore, and when he retires he will be soon fighting celebrity boxers if he still wants to make money from boxing.
1985  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Will Russia run out of weapons for war they've been preparing for in decades? on: January 18, 2023, 11:38:13 AM
Maybe the Ammos they are using is used with some sort of calculations where when they used it, they calculate the time and resources to produce it again which will make it an unlimited cycle when we talked about weapons and Ammos. They are not some countries that are relying on their weaponry from other countries because they are the ones who create their weapons and they also invented something that we don't know yet. an unreleased version of their weapons is yet to come and it would be an all-out war if they start to fire one of those because their enemies will surely aggressively react.
1986  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: January 18, 2023, 10:39:30 AM
What are they thinking? is this their way to keep everything balanced?  Cheesy Grin

Ja Morant is surely one of a kind and the fans are always looking forward to seeing him dunk on someone every time he plays. Thankfully he always has been negative and we can see more of his amazing dunks in the future. Though they are different from Vince Carter, I'm glad I'm seeing in the NBA who can actually dunk without hesitation whenever he got the chance. He really needs to do more of this because he will miss it when he gets old as Vince does.
1987  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: McDonald's Metaverse or just a Hype? on: January 18, 2023, 09:45:58 AM
They found potential in the crypto world including metaverse. Actually, there are a lot of institutions that are preparing for this adoption, and they will change the world definitely.

Yeah! surely this is their own method of riding to the future and they are only starting to adopt the new trend of Metaverse which will they gonna improve in the next years to come. Surely it took them too long to realize that making some room for Metaverse in their company will gonna be a huge promotion for them because this fast-food company is known to release limited edition toys and this time, they will gonna add NFT from the options. You can really say that they are affirming the new innovation which is the Metaverse.
1988  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: January 18, 2023, 09:00:38 AM
Finally, the last obstruction to make this happen is cleared as Dela Hoya posted on social media the contract of the Ryan - Davis fight, so glad that they did not make this another Spence - Crawford scenario, this is the biggest fight coming in April I'm eager to see their press conference and their face off and what they are going to say to each other.

He is really confident to give his fighter the fight he wants and unlike Bob Arum, you won't see him taking some risk like this one he is only giving his boxers some unentertaining fight or we may say a one-sided fight because he was cherry-picking their opponent. Luckily Ryan Garcia is in Golden Boy promotion and this is the time they really gained the fan's respect because once again they are allowing this fight to happen without any delay or drama. Since they are both in their respective prime, I'm sure this won't be their last fight no matter what the result of the fight is.
1989  Other / Archival / Re: Mass adoption: Naming my child bitcoin on: January 18, 2023, 08:22:36 AM
I'm a big supporter of bitcoin but I don't think that is a good idea at all.
People will just think you are crazy, and bitcoin doesn't need to have the image of its supporters being crazy.

You can go around wearing a nice bitcoin t-shirt or hat, or even a jacket with the bitcoin logo on it is a good way of engaging people in casual conversation about bitcoin.

One of the rights of the child is to be given a good name by his parent because it would be an insult for him when he will become a teenager because they will bully him/her. As a parent, we need to strive to protect our children from that and we need to know how to distinguish our responsibility to them from our hobby. Most people took the trend too far when they wanted to promote bitcoins and I think this is one of the worse things you can do to your child. Same for those parents who named their children Covid-19 and other pandemic-related stuff.
1990  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Caleb Plant vs David Benavidez on: January 17, 2023, 01:42:07 PM

maybe, they are talking so the interest won't die down among boxing fans. they need to earn from this fight so they should make sure there's hype for this match. sometimes the delay is owed to purse split if both camps don't agree with their share. but in any case, if they feel they are ready to rumble, their promoters will publish the date.

Nowadays, they really need to hyp the fight before even setting a date for their fight. how strange it turns out right now for the boxing industry and this is because of how others make some huge money from boxing and everyone wants to have that kind of fight where they can earn as much as they can because after all, it was their body and their reputation they putting in the table, that's why they want to have everything set before going for a fight. the old days of boxing are over and most likely right now they fight because of money, so they need to make a fuss and get loud so that they will become a trend just before their fight.

The easiest thing to do to contribute to this forum is to observe and look for the categories where it fits you the most because sometimes users will only active in one section of the forum but he actually helping a lot of people there and because of his complex knowledge about the topics there. You can start at your local section and look if what else you can share with them about things that are related to the crypto community or you can also make a translation into your local language to be able to make them understand. like for example preventive measures against hackers and some useful things to do when protecting your crypto wallet and so on so forth.
1992  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a trend over other cryptocurrency. on: January 17, 2023, 12:05:06 PM
Altcoins are just a mere destruction for the bitcoins to spread as a means of payment all over the world, no matter how hard they try to make the same coins, they cannot overcome Bitcoin because of its uniqueness and its decentralization. whenever they try to make a new one, they always failed because they cannot seem to find a way to promote their coins without showing themselves or telling anyone who are the people behind those coins. also, they cannot go public and at the same time have some decentralized projects which are popular because the SEC will hunt them until they will gonna give up on their project. Thankfully they cannot do anything about Bitcoin, because they cannot find its creator.
1993  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It is ok to sell your Bitcoin. on: January 17, 2023, 07:43:34 AM
Most holders have their own multiple incomes that's why they don't really need to sell their bitcoins and continue holding them until it reaches the amount they like when to sell them. As for the others who used money that is not supposed to be used in bitcoin investment, they are the one who is panicked right now and they are most likely doubting their own decisions. In this kind of scenario, patience and perseverance is the main key to keep holding on to your bitcoins and you don't rely on them to survive and to fund your essential needs every day. This is where the problem started when they decide to buy bitcoins with everything they have, thinking it would gonna skyrocket in the next few days or months which is kinda stupid because volatility in the crypto market is pretty high. so you are a fool if you have a mindset like that because it's rarely gonna happen.
1994  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: January 17, 2023, 06:36:14 AM
It seems as though the coaching staff of the Lakers has no idea what they are supposed to be doing. There are times when you look at the coaches and wonder what they are thinking. They are able to make decisions and feel as if they have a plan in place. However, that is not the case with the Los Angeles Lakers. In my opinion, the coaching staff of the Lakers looks like they are just doing things and hoping for the best.

It's really hard to coach them, especially since the players are not the same way there are when they win the NBA championship in 2019 and they are also prone to injury nowadays, just look at AD, if he wasn't hurt himself, I think the Lakers have some good stats today but he can no longer play like how he used to be because of his condition and the result is, they always struggle and rarely they're winning streak games, mostly they lose and remain out in the NBA playoff tree this season. Maybe the whole team needs to be fixed and consider working on new players because they cannot be a championship team the way they are today and they really need to move on.
1995  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anybody else confused by the dead-coins pump ? on: January 17, 2023, 05:59:43 AM
I think whales are just gambling on these once popular and top coins since they've been like 99% down already so it's easier to create huge buy volume. It's not surprising if they bounce once the retail investors or casuals starts riding the hype. They will look for that next heavily dumped coin or token and repeat the process.

That's why it's even scary to invest in those once-failed coins because clearly there is no future with them when the whales will decide to dump their coins one after another. Things like this should be clearly not recommendable to do because those whales are used to doing this kind of stuff and they surely know what they're doing most importantly, they don't really care when they lose their money when they gamble like this because they are multi-millionaires and the things you need to worry is your money because the price will crash, there will be no turning back to recover it again.
1996  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Proof of stake is bad and why bitcoin is the only crypto I would trust on: January 16, 2023, 11:41:05 AM
If only these people didn't create their own coins and just continue to use bitcoins and support it or make some development to improve its transactions, we would have not suffered any losses in the market but the way they counter the popularity and the spread of its implementation, they create huge numbers of altcoins which ruin the idea why bitcoin has been created and now their true motive has appeared and they only added problem than working solutions to counter the bank's manipulations of our money. If only Satoshi Nakamoto showed himself and clarify all the doubts pertaining to the control of bitcoins, it could change the course of crypto history and I'm pretty sure it will be a good result if he really intends it and he is truthful about what he says in his whitepaper.
1997  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What makes Countries More Powerful Than Others on: January 16, 2023, 09:39:54 AM
When you say power, it consists of three things, the number of military, wealth, and weaponry. We see that wealthy countries like Brunei are untouchable because of their wealth and they don't really need to build their nuclear base because the other countries that have some weapon of mass destruction are offering them protection. I mean, countries that have some more powerful weapons are also in need of other wealthy countries to support them and that's how it goes. I may say the most powerful country in today's era is no other than China because they have all of those traits and they don't need any country to protect them in case they will declare war.
1998  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: January 16, 2023, 08:47:51 AM
Umar Nurmagomedov crazy knockout win, and as usual, those fast kicks to set it up, I was wrong in betting it to go to the ground and win via submission, and this is the 1st time Umar knocked someone and it was against an unknockable opponent Raoni Barcelo, so I think Umar Nurmagomedov can accent to be champion someday,

What a shocking performance from him because these guys are known to beat their opponents via submission and surprisingly he just knocked out his opponent in the first round not only then his opponent was not known to be an easy guy he hasn't been knockout like this in his career before. I guess it was just an unexpected turn of events against Raoni Barcelos because he wasn't aware of his opponent's huge power and caught him by surprise. That was just a random and amazing win for him, they are now really improving well because fans are bored to see them win every fight by submission and now they are changing their courses.
1999  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Miss Universe 2023 betting. on: January 16, 2023, 08:07:32 AM
I would not even dare to bet on Miss Universe events. At least, in sport betting there is some logic and analysis behind the choice on where to put your money.
The winner of these beauty contests are very relative to the thoughts and appreciations of the judges, not even mentioning that there could be some agenda or even unknown influences going on unbeknownst to us.  Roll Eyes

Nowadays, they take advantage of everything that is broadcast on TV to make a gamble out of it but this is how the norm for gamblers and their mindsets. When things like this become popular in the future, I'm sure it will be rigged and they will gonna make some money out of it. This kind of trend is currently popular right now, last time I saw some threads pertaining to the bets for the presidential candidates. I wonder where this kind of strangeness will bring them, they just keep adding to the table to give the people varieties of choices to gamble with their money.
2000  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you still holding your coins #btc on: January 16, 2023, 07:40:30 AM
Though I voted in the poll I'm still holding strong, I have sold some during the time of the Pandemic and continue to buy right now little by little to get back what I have sold and also to continue to support the bitcoin market. right now, the right thing to do is to keep holding on until we recover from this bloody crypto market situation and to decide later when the market finally recovers if we want to sell some of our bitcoins to taste the sweetness of holding BTC. We really need to be strong in this kind of situation and continue to preserve ourselves to get tempted even though the market is currently not looking good.
