1981  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elom Musk is farting, the whole crypto suffocates! Is Elon working with SEC? on: May 13, 2021, 11:17:31 AM
The attitude of Elon Musk seems to be as stupid as can be. Of course some will say that when he manipulates the markets with big announcement like Tesla will accept Bitcoin, then Tesla will temporary stop accepting them, and soon Spacex will accept Bitcoin, this seems like a kid playing in a sandbox with friends.
However, this also enlight how crypto can be manipulated and needs some kind of control from the government.
His tweets mean nothing if people don't over value him and his tweets. Why Tesla is important for Bitcoin? There are and will be more institutional investments. The capital investment from Tesla can be done with another or a few other institutes.

Bitcoin adoption won't be changed much by Tesla and people were cheated by Elon and Tesla. Will Elon come back and say after months of research, he sees is the best and Tesla will accept Bitcoin again. It will be funny.

Quote
Elon Musk is too connected to be acting alone playing this game.
I suspect that he is trying to enlight that markets are subject to manipulation and needs to be regulated, and give to the SEC the right pretext for doing it.
I can see coming the fact that the SEC will investigate him, and I cannot imagine that he is jumping in the dragon mouth without having a pre-agreement to do so.

So guys are you going to continue to dance with the SEC's joker? Or ignore his puppet dance?
Years ago, Elon was investigated by his tweets SEC Probes Tesla CEO Musk’s Tweets

I invest in Bitcoin not because of Elon, Tesla or any tweet. Institutes come and go, let them be but Bitcoin will be what it be.

this did not take long for binance to list this token. look at the volume in binance for SHIB-USDT. this is overwhelming, billion dollars in 24h. no wonder Binance took this in.
but where are all the monies come from? is this really worth buying or just a hype? this is a very scary investment to take. but if you don't buy, it seems you are missing a good opportunity to earn good profits.
Binance need money and gradually they break their core mission and sacrifice the safety of customers for their benefits.

I know Binancians can not blame on Binance for anything with their investment or trading. It's their money, their decisions, investment and trade so go ahead with awareness of terrible loses. Binance give them reminder but I see it as a mean to wipe out their responsibility.

Scam projects nowadays are easily to be listed on big exchanges even on Binance. It is sad because Binance reject to list many old projects that with time prove that they are not scam.

No volume, low volume, please don't contact Binance to list your project.
1983  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin transaction fees lower than alts on: May 12, 2021, 02:29:44 AM
Does people actually know that transaction fees over the Bitcoin network has been cheaper than their favorite alts recently? Okay every Ethereum user is probably aware of this but how about those Doge fanatics? It takes 1-2 Doge to send a transaction which is more or less $0.50 to $1 based on current price. Even the BSC network has been congested lately and standard gas price went up to 9 Gwei from the previous 5 but I read that some people had to add more spending over $1 for their transactions not to be rejected.

Earlier today, I was able to send BTC at 3 sats/vbyte but I know the fee went even lower than that. That's less than $0.50. It's already back up to $4 but my point is that some people are probably still stuck to the notion that BTC transfers are always expensive. They don't realize they are spending more on their altcoins.
Big networks, no matter whichever network, will have congested times and people have to be knowledgeable and wisely when they choose the means to transact their money.

Bitcoin with its biggest hashrates is the safest network to move, if you move big funds.
Ethereum is option for people who want to trade with ERC-20 tokens.
BSC is option for people who want to trade ERC-20 tokens or some projects that have built on both ERC-20 and TRC-20.

It is a historic story: When Bitcoin network congested in 2017, Ethereum enthusiasts shill it as Ethereum network will never be congested. Look, ETH network was seriously congested, for more than 4 weeks or longer. Binance Smart Chain was shilled by CZ in the same way but look, their network began to have problems.

8 satoshi is cheap price but it is only cheap if Armor Network has use-cases. Can you disclose the vision of Armor Network team and the use-cases for this coin, please.

Do the team know TradeOgre exchange that is friendly with Cryptonote coins? You can use this form to submit your listing request and some details of your project.

1985  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Shiba Inu, the DOGE Killer: a Decentralized Deflationary Store of Value on: May 10, 2021, 11:48:47 PM
I understand your concern, but don't need to worry too much, the wallet marked Vb a is the address of the burning wallet to Vitalik Buterin. As for the second wallet, I don't know about it and for the other top holers, most of them are exchange wallets, so there's no need to worry.
Vitalik Buterin, how about his role in Shiba Inu?

I can not believe that Vitalik involves in the creation and development of Shiba Inu. Unbelievable.

Shiba Inu is the token that take advantage of the hype of Dogecoin with investment and shill efforts from Elon Musk and his team mates. No matter what is done by Vitalik with Shiba or Elon with Dogecoin, price of Shiba is extremely over value and hey please afford your loss if you want to gamble. I won't.
1986  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The new mining pool, Marathon miners censoring Bitcoin transactions; on: May 10, 2021, 06:31:37 AM
Nothing serious here. There are many mining pools and if the Marathon pool actually censors Bitcoin transactions, they only can do it with the waiting transactions in their mempool. Other pools, other nodes will confirm the transactions are censored by Marathon in later blocks.

How many percent the total hashrate of Marathon pool? They are not a big pool because I can not find their name here https://btc.com/stats/pool?pool_mode=month
1987  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🧅 [ONION] Privacy Coin with Real Use Cases 🔥 DeepOnion Coinsbit + TradeOgre ⚡ on: May 10, 2021, 03:16:18 AM
yes, no need to download the whole blockchain, the wallet operates via trusted servers connections.
Can I modify server connections with that wallet?

If it is possible to customize connections, can you share list of  trusted servers?

== less anonymity
Same with Electrum wallet for Bitcoin. It is a light wallet but you can not have privacy if you use Electrum wallet to broadcast your Bitcoin transactions. Best privacy wallet for Bitcoin is Wasabi wallet with opt-in Tor connection.

DeepOnion Electrum Wallet Release Date Announce

The devs confirmed that DeepOnion Electrum Wallet will be released on May 16, 2021. Don't miss that date.

https://deeponion.org/community/threads/deeponion-electrum-wallet-release-date.45612/
When I glance at the screenshot, I thought it was Electrum wallet for Bitcoin, not for Deep Onion. When I look at the bottom of screenshot, I see Deep Onion phrase.

Is the Deep Onion Electrum wallet is light as SPV wallet? I hope this wallet does not require too many data space in my phone.

Can you give me estimated data space to install and sync this wallet and has a ready-to-use wallet on my phone?
1989  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mixing your Bitcoin might become illegal in the future on: May 08, 2021, 02:52:44 AM
If governments can not shut down all mixers or tumblers, people will use it.

It's your key, it's your bitcoin and you will be able to control your bitcoin transactions. People are fee to use Coin Join transactions and they can trade peer-to-peer or use truly DEX.

Governments can enforce stricter regulations on coin mixing and require exchanges to follow their rules. Exchanges can lock, ban, freeze accounts that have Bitcoin from mixing process.

People can use Bitcoin from mixers, make peer to peer trade to get fiat, and use fiat to buy altcoins. Will governments be able to trace thousand of altcoins and altcoin transactions too? I believe they will out of resources to do that.
1990  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Main] Bitcore- BTX - Datacarriersize up to 220 bytes on: May 07, 2021, 01:46:17 AM
The lack of exchanges is a big problem... also the CME blocking.

It was not possible to list Bitcore there. Binance / Bittrex / Bitfinix has a own police for any listing. They can also easy create own projects for own exchanges.
If Binance, Bittrex, Bitfinex are strict with their listing verification and approval, you can filter other exchanges.

I nominate the old exchange, TradeOgre. I know it is not a big exchange but it has run many years and I guess they have not strict listing rules.

1991  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: bull market end on: May 07, 2021, 01:40:50 AM
so when do you guys think this bull market is going to end.  I'm kinda balls deep in crypto, and I've make some pretty amazing returns.  But im just wondering if any of you guys think this bull run will end anytime soon.
You can not conclude exact point at which the market will turn around from bull to bear or from bear to bull. You only can know it exactly after things happened, when you look back the past movements in the other words.

My opinion is the market is in correction for Bitcoin but it is a time of accumulation for Bitcoin. In the Bitcoin accumulation phase, altcoins take advantage of capital switch and take off. I believe that altcoins will soar more and Bitcoin will have a new all time high after the current accumulation.

For you, if you are not sure what the market will move (I am not sure) and don't want to get any loss, you can exit the market. Take profit from crypto to fiat, use fiat to buy something just to enjoy your profit from the market.

I connected to the DINO exchange with Tor connection. It is good (a bit slow but it perhaps because of my own connection).

Coingecko does not have price chart for $DINO. I would like to know the price in IDO of $DINO, can you share this information for me and the community?

Price for today is $2,8 that is good but know about IDO price can help me to have decision to invest in $DINO now or wait.

What are differences between the two versions Swap, V2 and V1 (old)?

1994  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CLAM] CLAMs, Proof-Of-Chain, Proof-Of-Working-Stake, a.k.a. "Clamcoin" on: May 05, 2021, 01:58:21 AM
The clam price went up from 500 sat to 1100 sat in 10 days, that +120% should be the good news you are searching for, and this ride is getting over because there is a crazy wall on the 1500 sats prize of 100,000 clamcoins, I'm not sure if someone will buy that wall, but the one who does will have the 2.5% of the network and that's a huge amount. No one say it would be cheap but we are talking about the chance to get a huge piece of this cake.
Walls have different meanings and use by whales. Sell orders are set as big resistances that give buyers feel unsafe. Fortunately, when the market is on a right time to ride, big sell walls are set to force buyers buy up and break the walls.

Walls often appear in two sides, buy and sell and whales use them to control the market.

Support walls (buy walls) can broken and price will fall deeper but whales don't lose anything. They can buy back at price below the suppport wall price.
1995  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GOBYTE [GBX] - Masternodes, PoW, Secure, ASIC Resistance, GoByte Pay on: May 05, 2021, 12:52:40 AM
I think you need no more than 5 GB of space, if you have a Discord account you can find the bootstrap in the dedicated channel of the Gobyte server.
I did not check total space after I synced my wallet but the synchronisation is very quickly.

I used STEX in the past and did not used it for many months. Yesterday, I tried to do KYC with them and their KYC requirements are complex, with requirements for personal bills, etc. I gave up with the step and in my opinion, HitBTC is the best exchange to trade Gobyte.

The altcoin season is existing and I hope the team will do some initiatives to bring Gobyte to other exchanges that don't have mandatory KYC like STEX.

crex24.com, graviex here are the popular masternode exchanges, listing on them will bring success to the project.
Volume on Crex24.com is good but volume on Graviex is too slow. On Graviex, the spread of buy and sell prices are too big. You can not enter and exit the market on Graviex with the price you want, with profit, and with short waiting time.

Graviex has one thing I like too much. The exchange detect instantly any deposit in your account. Even a transaction is not confirmed on the network, it will still be shown in your deposit history. It is a very cool feature on Graviex.

Can you help me, please.

How many GB I need to have if I want to install and sync a Gobyte wallet on my computer?
1997  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SEM] Semux - Official Thread on: May 04, 2021, 02:35:33 AM
yes, conversations to make bridges between semux and other blockchains were recently conducted in the discord channel , if you have something to offer ,write there Wink
Sounds like something big will be released for SEMUX community.

Which bridges do you mean and how long will the development progress take according to the information you have from Discord channel?

I checked available exchanges for SEMUX and found a sad thing, trading volume is not existing. What should I do if I want to have some SEMUX coin?
- SEMUX on coinmarketcap (only $7 in last 24h volume)
- SEMUX on coingecko. Coinmarketcap usually does not include some exchanges but with SEMUX, only STEX is available but no trading volume.
1998  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is once again going through a hard fork? on: May 03, 2021, 05:52:57 AM
I've never heard of EtherLite until I saw this topic. Google search lead me to an article: EtherLite – Upcoming Ethereum Hard Fork to Launch One-Click Migration Tool for dApps. I think it's a legit project with some trendy features like: Web3, blockchain bridges... However, in the past, there were a lot projects of this kind. Only time will tell if it's real gold or trash.
I never mind to claim any forked coins like that, EtherLite. They create a fork coin and if you are naively to reveal your seeds just to claim those fork coins, you will highly have risk of losing your Ethereum.

Not your keys, not your coins. When you give up secret of your Ethereum wallet seeds, you lose that wallet. Developers or scammers of those scam projects will react very fast, and they will steal your Ethereum.

Don't give up your seeds, don't exchange your Ethereum for shit Ethereum forked coins.
1999  Economy / Exchanges / Re: buying bitcoin on bisq p2p with interac e - transfer on: May 03, 2021, 05:48:41 AM
There's no way they can know unless if you told them when they start asking you what you spent your money on every time you made a new out going transaction.

When making a transfer, the reason for the transaction should never say anything about crypto if you bank's policy is against crypto. Use other reasons like bills, purchases etc
Banks don't know what your transfers are for if they simply base on the details of transfers you self-type in and submit your request to them. It is safe if you only write some fake reasons for your transfers.

However, to get 100% safety, for your account and money in bank account, you must contact them for details about policies with cryptocurrency trades. If they say no, you can use secret transfer details with a reminder that there will be risks of troubles. If banks detect something from your trade partners, such as money laundering or lawsuits from police, they can trace money flow from that guy to you and others. Even they won't have details that your trades are for cryptocurrencies, your fiat money for trades with those guys can be frozen, and refunded to victims or taken by governments, police.

When I do my P2P trades, I do multiple trades with not big value, and with different trade partners. Decentralize my trades can help me to reduce risks from trade partners.

@GetGraphene will be launched on #BinanceSmartChain soon!

Not qualified for the #Airdrop? Don't worry!

📅Snapshot 3 takes place on May 9th!📅

💰Buy $PHR > get $GFN... FREE!💰
One more week to claim your Graphene from the Phore coin you have. My fingers cross with the sneak peek of easy airdrop claiming process.

Binance Smart Chain gives people almost free charge to claim airdrop and do transactions and this chain will help the Graphene have better attention from investors or traders. DeFi now are very crazy and liquidity on DeFi are huge. With DeFi, people can trade without big centralized exchanges.

DeFi contributes to kill trading volume of old but small exchanges.

About aidrop, the ratio is 1 PHR : 10 GFN but the ratio 1:10 is applied for all 6 airdrops/ snapshots. Each snapshot give you the ratio at 1 PHR : 1.666 GFN.
