1981  Economy / Speculation / Re: CRYPTOS TO THE MOON???? on: February 19, 2019, 03:11:31 AM
Actually, I haven't visited CMC for a while so I have no idea that the price go up like this Smiley. The graph not only of bitcoin but as well as major alts such as eth and xrp looks great. However, it's too early to conclude that the bull is approaching.. I guess let's wait further for the meantime, if this trend continue for the upcoming months then no doubt that the bearish days is now over.

1983  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Addiction Stories and Possible Solutions on: February 19, 2019, 02:25:05 AM
Sometimes I kindda confuse why people can't control or even got addicted while they are already realize that they are making wrong decision to keep gambling.
It is definitely hard to tell simply because we're not on their position. Yes! We can perceive what they're doing and conclude that it was wrong but at the end of the day we cannot fully understand what's the real feeling of being a gambling addict. We cannot fully relate unless we become of them. That's why I'm not totally blaming them for having a miserable fate because they're the victims as well.
It's not a drug , Remember this !
I know that it is not a drug substance such as ecstasy, shabu or whatsoever, but the bottomline is it can also function as a drug. It also make your body excrete dopamine at high levels and if you stop it after getting used to it, your body tend to find that stimuli eagerly (gambling) which lately results to addiction.

Ps: sorry for being scientific, that's the way I found in order to explain this Grin.

1985  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: February 18, 2019, 12:49:54 PM
Team LeBron wins it after an impressive comeback after being down 82-95 at Half time. Final Score Team Lebron 178 - 164 Team Giannis.
I can't believe what happened! Team Giannis dominated the game until the first part of 3rd quarter but the game suddenly changed and for me the key players for that big conversion is Lillard and Thompson, props to them Smiley. Actually, I supposed to lose a bet but my friend backed out so I considered myself lucky Grin.
At least we're not disappointed as this week seems to be one of the best boring All-Star.
I agree somehow. All Star games nowadays are more boring compare to the previous ones like the times of Kobe, Garnett, Jordan and Carter. Today, it's very obvious that the defense are not so tight, full of catch and shoots, I can feel no pressure on the defense between each other (few arm stretches sre enough). That's why I am not impressed with the high scorings even it reaches 200+ because I'm doubting if it is really a real product of great basketball skills or just the result of open defense.
1986  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC on ESPN 1: Ngannou vs Velasquez Prediction and Info Thread on: February 18, 2019, 11:20:53 AM
<snip>

Did you really watch the fight? How can you call it a good fight when it ended in a bizarre way? Yes, Francis is more active but it's more of the knee of Cain Velasquez giving out. Yes he was clipped but I don't think it really did a lot of damage. Cain can't protected himself and his knee and the referee stop the fight. It's just sad to see cardio Cain exiting like this and it seems his UFC best days are over.

Honestly, I was very shocked not only of the results (since I expect Velazquez to win) but also on how fast it ends. 26 secs, Ngannou just take 26 secs. to knock him out! :O. Actually, at first I thought that he get hurt on the counter punch but after the camera focused on Velasquez' knee it's pretty obvious that there's something wrong — his left knee dislocated I think. Knowing this, I'm a little bit upset because i can see in Velasquz' eyes that he can still fight but not allowed anymore because of the injury Sad.
I just wonder why the judges take it as a knockout and not a technical knockout, hmm. Huh For me that was a bad decision.
1987  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Change Of KYC Pattern on: February 17, 2019, 09:12:32 AM
There have been so much issues arising from bounty hunters doing kyc. So many bounty hunters are against it. Also looking at what kyc means, it means know your customer and bounty hunters are not customers.
The term "customer" was used to generally represent all the people who used their coin. Since the bounty hunters work to advertise them for exchange of their coin, then technically speaking, they are customers also Smiley.

Anyway, if I will based to what've you've said then I may say that it sucks simply because it is not unnecessary somehow because of knowing the fact that bounty hunters are only up to pumping and dumping and not totally using the actual platform. Well, I'm not yet fully knowledgeable regarding this issue because I don't have any experience joining bounty campaigns 'til now (actually, I refused to) so who am I to speak Grin. That was just my perception.
1988  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: bili kayo ng ontology for long-term investment on: February 17, 2019, 07:16:29 AM
ways to earn sa ONTOLOGY:

1. lagyan ng laman ang wallet mo at kikita ka ng ONG depende sa holdings mo
2. mag stake ng 500 ONT at kikita ka bawat round via transactions fees, made in the ONTOLOGY network - more transactions fees, more profits
3. mag stake at wag galawin for months, lalaki pa ang iyong kita ng ONG.

Ontology has its own blockchain thus no longer running in the NEO platform.
I'll give you props for shilling the coin you choose Smiley. But I'll be honest, there is only a small chance that Filipino crypto investors will buy this. First, they tend to stick to btc. Second, if they try alts then they might choose the stronger ones such as eth, xrp, lt, minero etc. instead of this one.and lastly, we are still on a bearish market thus people are afraid of investing.

Nonetheless, I'm not considering it as a shitcoin since it is on the Top 30 coins based on CMC so I guess it would still be profitable somehow. Good luck Smiley.
1989  Local / Pamilihan / Re: House and lot for sale using crypto's in the philippines on: February 17, 2019, 01:49:59 AM
~ Ano sa tingin nyo dito mga kuys ?  Nice move ba ito ngayon na mababa pa price ng cryptos ?
Nice move somehow but because the buyer will buy it in P_ (I don't know how much it was) Million worth of btc/ltc which means he can have the chance to earn more profits once crypto price uprise. On the other hand, if he change his mind then I think there's nothing too much to lose because he can still take it whole (not totally whole because of few fees of course) if you withdraw now.

Actually, I'm not worrying on seller's sake because if he sells his property for crypto then for sure he is also a crypto investor in which aware of the risks of losing and can handle it at the same time.
Mabenta man to o hindi ang magalaga eh good news padin eto , kase madame na talaga ang nakakakilala sa crypto  .
Why not? For me it is quite nice because it has a modern design (the trend nowadays) and besides it seems that it is within a subdivision so security for your family is just a minimal concern. The only problem is, Is there really a crypto holder with such amount of money and willing to spend it for a house? Well, I don't think so because all of us are business minded — we always want to make most of our assets and selling it is only the last resort.
1990  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: February 16, 2019, 11:02:00 AM
Team world loss guys, 144 - 161, a very high scoring game.
For a while, I thought they had a chance but the team USA is just too good tonight, they are shooting well.

I'm waiting now on who will be declared as MVP, it's probably Kuzma IMO.
Yeah! I'm so disappointed because for me Simmons-Luka is a powerhouse combo (I think I just probably overrate them) and yet they were beaten by USA. Well, the match is so close because of small pount lead but I noticed that the wind change in the 4th quarter. World committed more ball errors and more ball movement on the other side. That's the reason why they get beaten up, according to my observation.

Hey! Why you are not talking about the celebrity game? Lol, nevermind. I'm not interested either Grin.
1991  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: February 16, 2019, 01:27:51 AM
Let's enjoy for a while those selected players who will try to show their own individual talents from this all star games.
I'm excited as well and I'll go for Team Giannis Smiley. Just feeling disappointed because Luka didn't make on the list. I think he deserve a spot there, actually I am already anticipating that he will make long threes, make fancy moves and doing buzzer beaters (which he is good at) in that game but unfortunately he was not picked. Well, he is only a rookie so not bad at all, at least he was considered.
1992  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If... on: February 15, 2019, 11:04:35 AM
First of all, I don't have wife, so I am not a le to discuss with, kidding. I would definitely try to leave and go for a vacation so that my addiction get vanished. I would definitely be successful too.
You know that is not so simple. Having a vacation is a good way to forget gambling but temporarily only, for me it is not a permanent solution. When you go back there is no assurance that you now forget it all the things you get used to, what more to happen is that you will probably become more ravenous to gamble because your body and mind miss the excitement and the atmosphere coming from it.

So if ever you get addicted, much better if you will seek guidance (either coming from a professional or just your family) at the same time while having a vacation. Doing recreational activities could help as well.
1993  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If... on: February 15, 2019, 04:59:35 AM
2. I don't have money and realize that gambling ruined my life and in result I will not going to do gambling anymore.
For me that was the most effective way to stop gambling addiction yet the worst one also. If a gambler reach a point of null — whose all of pockets become empty, loved ones already stay away from him and feeling miserable — then that's the time when introspection comes. That's the time when he will think all of the bad decisions and missed opportunities in his existence thus resulting to a renunciation. I hope all people will not experience this but if it is the only thing which makes them repent then so be it, sometimes you really need to fall down and rise again to become a better person.
1994  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 234: Whittaker vs Gastelum Prediction and Info Thread on: February 15, 2019, 03:03:45 AM
In any case, some UFC sportswriters have already made comparisons on Adesanya as a young Anderson. I reckon if Dana can organize a Chris vs Adesanya fight,  he should promote it as the revenge of Anderson hehehehe.
Whoah! What an interesting headline :O. But on the negative side, is it unfair that we always compare Adesanya to Silva? I mean, if I'm on the position of Adesanaya and hear such words then I might get upset because I think that you only respect me because you see the young Silva in me and not my own self. You are just treating me like a copycat of a great fighter and never impressed with my own way of fighting (just my opinion Grin).

Hmm, instead of Revenge of Silva, for me it is better if they change it to Revenge for Silva.
1995  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If... on: February 15, 2019, 02:06:57 AM
I can easily get addicted and that is why I am avoiding gambling and do it as fun and not to make profits.  I have many rich friends that football betting is running their life and I am not happy about it.
Good decision, you are fortunate that you become aware of the effects of gambling in your body. Keep up the tight attitude mate Smiley.

Anyway, why are you not happy on the achievements of your friends? They are rich now, which means their gambling activities is doing all fine, what's the problem? Are they not the same as what you met them before or just getting jealous?
1996  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If... on: February 14, 2019, 04:10:53 PM
The responsibility is up on his family or friends to help him recover from his addiction.
You should be the one who fix your personal issues first and foremost, not your parents. Yeah! You can seek for their  advices because it was a part of their responsibility as a parent since you were a child but now that you are slready mature then make your own act for the improving yourself and do not fully give the obligation of changing you into others.
If it was me, (hope it will never happen) I will talk with people who had the same problem and ask their guidance, also, I will start new activities.
I don't thi k it will be a good idea because if the other is struggling in the same condition and can't solve it either thrn how he will give solution to yours. What you need is an an adviser, it doesn't really importang whether it is a professional or not as long as it has a clear mind so that he can asses your problem properly.
1997  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Is Your Worst Moment in Gambling? on: February 14, 2019, 02:01:01 PM
It had happened to me many many times!
However, sometimes it is good to happen because you can win your bet accidentally. I remember when I made a bet and wanted to bet on Real Madrid against Sociedad but for my luck, I made the opposite. And guess what.. Sociedad won the game against Real Madrid and I got more money than I expected from my initial plans.
It is true that betting in the underrated team is somehow beneficial if and only if they won. Doing such thing is definitely a big risk because you are going against the odds but well sports can be explained like in the Filipino idiom, "bilog ang bola" which means trend doesn't mean a thing at all, we can't conclude unless the match already ended Grin.
1998  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pacquiao Vs Mayweather 2 on: February 14, 2019, 01:01:49 PM
Manny Pacquiao wants Filipino be Proud of him whenever he steps on the ring,no matter how much is at stakes but whats important to him is to bring the Filipino people a respect from othr countries specially Bigger continents
In the world of boxing or even in the whole sports industry at least Wink but an achievement is an achievement so there's nothing wrong of being proud of it. But I just hope that someday our country will be respected nog only for havung beauty queens or great athletes but also because of being a developed country with prosperous economy and internationally competitive in every aspect like what bigger countries did.
1999  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where are you playing Poker? on: February 14, 2019, 11:38:58 AM
It really does not matter where you are playing poker unless and until you are enjoying it.
I haven't play Texas Hold'em Poker not because of age but because a lack of capital and time. Anyway, I've seen few people here in our place (just friends of my friend) which play poker even only in the outside of their house Grin. So as an aspiring gambler, I watched and conclude that everything is the same like others play in casinos, the only difference is their bets is way smaller and do not use chips (notes and coins only). Actually, I'm shocked at first and doubt if it's legit because it was my first time to see this game played in the local street. Nevertheless it was awesome to witnessed such scenario, probably I'll be their buddies in the near future and also join on one of their games.
2000  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Is Your Worst Moment in Gambling? on: February 14, 2019, 10:55:56 AM
Hmm, let me think first. Oh! I guess my worst experience is when I lost all of my allowance because of Chinese Poker (also called Pusoy here in our country) during my highschool days. If I reminisce what happened that day, it was already a small amount compare to the money I earned today, but still, I struggled a lot that time because it was my only money for the rest of the week; and since I lost, I come to the point that I swallow my pride and owe money to my classmates, teased by everybody but got nothing to do because I knew to myself that it was my mistake. I felt terrible disgrace that time so I promised myself to do not make an All In every time I play from now on.

As I've said a while ago, it was not so big amount but I still consider this as my worst experience because of the trauma
