21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: IEOs is a game for top exchanges. on: September 15, 2019, 07:55:15 AM
That is the truth in IEOs and it is only a win-win situation for top exchanges like Binance and Huobi. The first advantage is they get to ask for a huge fee first to projects to launch their IEO and second is the fees they get from people buying their tokens and because it is a lottery sysem then just imagine a million of users trying to get in.
22  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is KuCoin Becoming the Best Exchange for Trading? on: September 15, 2019, 07:40:23 AM
Some people view it as one of the best exchanges out there but I think it is just a good exchange. It's very easy to use and a good interface but the only thing they missing is lack of volume. They can't give good growth on price of altcoins they list unlike Binance. Yes, for best experience but as an exchange , Kucoin is just simple and good to me and very similar to others. But if they lessen their withdrawal fee then I will change my mind because I am just small time trader.
23  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When did you start trading? on: September 15, 2019, 07:23:05 AM
I started trading six months ago and I regret that I did not start it much earlier, because I saw that some cryptocurrencies give within a month a few tens of percent of profit and then return to the original price and it gives the opportunity to earn!

Oh yes, you have lost much. If you started trading earlier, you could make a lot of money. I know the guy, who managed to buy a house for the profit he made in 2017. However, crypto will live long, and you will be in time to earn on it.

That is because 2017  was the golden year of crypto where you can read stories left and right where they bought either an expensive car or a huge house from their investments in ICO. I also started in 2017 so it is really true and whichever I pick, 80% of them will surely moon in that year.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reason why only few projects became successful on: September 15, 2019, 06:57:46 AM
I don't know man, the few good projects that I am hopeful to be very successful because of the strong team has now left their teams or project to enjoy the money they have raised. There are still projects that keep on developing their project but they are not as good as the ones the once existed in the top 100 cmc. I will only consider a project successful if they translate in real profitable business.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Finding the best Altcoins on: September 15, 2019, 06:34:13 AM
I've decided to put more attention on altcoins now when analysis project another big pump in crypto, but which tools/sites do you guys use to do so? I've seen many new coin listing sites and calendars and altcoin projection sites but I never got the feeling like "Waw this site is great". Any suggestions?

I highly recommend for you to check icodrops my fellow trader. That site does only list few altcoin projects unlike other that give ratings to any project that pop-ups. Right now, icodrops are more focused in IEO which is not now looking good because it has became just pump and dump but all in all they are still great however.
26  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Too many exchanges? on: September 14, 2019, 12:38:06 PM
I also wish that that there are only limited exchanges like 20-25. Everyday or every week, I always  see a new exchange getting advertised or announced in bitcointalk. Imagine if we only have few exchanges with quality service then we can always have healthy growth on altcoins. But because there are thousands of them out there, the volume are scattered that make the btc and altcoin price to moon.
27  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there any reason to day trade anything other than bitcoin? on: September 14, 2019, 12:23:23 PM
If you are impatient and does aim for a maximum profit then yes. I mean, honestly I don't have a lot of money and I will not just wait for bitcoin to spike because it will take me months. However, my chances can be increased if I gamble on other altcoins. It's still up to you bro to make the final decision and I am just here to give suggestion. My decision has given me good and best results though.
28  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-09-05] Fewer People Are Sending Bitcoin to Largest Crypto Exchanges on: September 14, 2019, 12:05:13 PM
It's not suprising when we all know that 2018 was the year where everyone got hit with the hardest crash in the  history of crypto. Or some people might be just continuing to hold their bitcoin and like their forgot about their existence and they will only withdraw it when we hit another new all time high. And another thing is that I think 2017 is record-breaking year for bitcoin transactions so we cannot assume that fewer people are sending bitcoin because it might be just like the normal which are the last  few years before 2017.
29  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do not ignore the small profits in Bitcoin investments. on: September 14, 2019, 07:15:30 AM
Yes, many people are looking for a higher profit through trading and this makes them hold it for some time, that's why most of the day traders will make huge amount profit because they won't bother how much price the coin is reaching. They will always look out for profit not more than 5% on their investment. Sometime small returns will help you to reach your goals.

I admit that I am also the type who always expect for huge profit and never really cares on small roi even it it is on 20% but I'm sure 80% of traders  or more than that apply that to theirselves. But on the other hand, if I'm holding $1-$5 million on bitcoin or eth then I would definitely sell my holdings and do swing trades frequently but the reality is I am not a whale but only a small algae on the ocean.
30  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you need to become a successful trader? on: September 14, 2019, 06:57:49 AM
Hello guys, I'm here because am so lost and confused about this whole thing of trading bitcoin or any other market as forex, stocks ...... first, when i started trading bitcoin it because i heard and saw many people talking about it and that you can make a lot of money. I mean yeah at first i made some profits by buying small amounts of bitcoin in Yobit then selling it again when the price goes up, but when day when the bitcoin went down i lost a lot of money.
I didn't quit trading but i moved to forex market. And as all they say technical analysis is the key to win in this market and there's many youtubers showing their money by trading forex anyway I'm not sure of it. The problem lately i watched some people saying that technical analysis is bullshit and I'm really confused

What i want to know is how can i become a successful trader and make money for the rest of my life. Should i learn technical analysis or harmonic patterns......
And which is the best market to trade for a beginner.

Those youtubers who showed a lot of money are just doing it for views and that is their typical clickbait like showing 6-figures and how they did it in a short span of time. If you think about it, they would not do youtube and will only concentrate on trading if they really make that much amount of profit so in short, they are all fake gurus.

To become a successful trader, you need to have experience trading 1-2 years and you will know what your mistake is and how to react and control your emotions. You are not going to become a successful sooner after that but I will guarantee you that you will start gaining more than losing.
31  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-08-31]Bitcoin Scam Orchestrator, Who Stole Nearly $68 Mln, Beaten to Death on: September 14, 2019, 06:32:37 AM
They had no right to take a man's life, even for such a sum. He should have been punished by justice

I know but beating him is okay and I would let the victims release their anger on that scammer like 68M punches in total if possible. I really thought that the victims are the one who found him and beaten to death but it was just his crime partners so it really proves that too much greediness can cause your own death. And for the investor's losses, I hope they recover it and they should be fully aware now on how scam works.
32  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-08-27] Craig Wright loses Kleiman case—billions in Bitcoin awarded to Klei on: September 14, 2019, 06:11:15 AM
That guy really deserved what happened to him haha. After this decision, I found a meme showing Faketoshi's picture with a caption the he is the true creator of Facebook and Libra. But seriously, Craig Wright should be prisoned so his minions won't let his token still grow and shown in the cmc and attract more dumb investors to buy it.
33  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone here have some strategy to gain money, but with low profits daily? on: September 13, 2019, 07:12:06 AM
Some example, you deposit 100 USD, you use martingale method to gain at least 1 dollar (1%) and you stop, and do the same the day after

This is just a random example I made right now, but I want to see if there's someone who try to use a strategy to gain very small profits daily instead of trying with big bets

And guys, I know there's no 100% strategy, it's just curiosity

I can't believe that there are still gamblers think martingale really. In my opinion, perhaps the casino owners invented it because your wager increases unless you finally win which is not favorable because I did it and just on the 10th time, I have lose it all. If you want a dollar everyday and safe then why don' t you just work for for captcha instead. It's sure profit and can be huge if you are very hardworking.
34  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The secret of gambling? on: September 13, 2019, 06:18:23 AM
The house always wins in gambling so there is no such thing as a secret to winning. The cards, numbers or combination are all random so the only key to win is you should have the ability to foresee what is going to happen next or what number or card will be shown. Therefore, I conclude that that if there is really a secret on winning in gambling is he should have is own casino.
35  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If You Win Big Will You Remember Your Losses on: September 13, 2019, 05:35:16 AM
I have a friend who wins 15,000 pesos or $300 the first time keno games in an offline betting outlet, he is so happy and very ecstatic about his winnings, I congratulate him and ask him how long before he hit the jackpot, he told me that it took him 7 months and he is betting daily at 100  pesos or $3 so his losses are bigger than winnings.

But surprisingly he did not calculate his losses all he cares about is he finally wins, how about you do you remember your losses when you win a big amount and do you calculate your losses and ask if the winning is worth it?

If someone told me the same thing like that which is not calculation all his losses then it is just proven that the person is a gambling addict and he needs help. The mere fact the he's very consistent on betting everday that he won't stop until he manage to win so imagine the amount he would lose if he did not still win after a year.
36  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I quit my job to do full-time crypto-trading on: September 13, 2019, 05:13:54 AM
Difficult decision to really quit a regular job and fully focus on crypto trading. But I guess the OP has covered and already think many times before making the decision so kudos to you. I just wish that you make the right decision. Many take that route as well, but only few became successful. Its really hard to give financial advises, but I have said, it's your own decision, best of luck to you.

Me too if I get a chance to earn 12 btc ld rather quit my job and focus on crypto because l may get a  chance to earn bigger than 12btc. Because l cant earn in my entire life of what I can get in crypto job. Im sure there are lots of ways to earn big.

I think op has the perfect recipe combine to achieve that 12 btc which is experience and luck. If he quitted his job not knowing or experiencing the emotional mistakes you will execute when trading then I doubt that he will even last a couple of months without a regular job. And luck, because people who trade btc are also just speculating and making a leap of faith that btc will rise and get stronger.
37  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling just for fun? on: September 13, 2019, 04:51:44 AM
I am very sure that it is very entertaining and fun when you are on winning streak or you hit the jackpot and only on that part. But when a person lose 2-3 times in a row then no one would treat their game with fun anymore. Though, gambling was really advertise to gamble for fun so maybe yes it is.
38  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did you ever won a huge amount on gambling? on: September 13, 2019, 01:56:20 AM
I have never experienced that. And for me, that is a good thing because if anyone happen to won a huge amount of money then it just proves that he or she wagers a lot of money when betting or it just happens that he is very lucky playing slot machines and won the jackpot. The only significant winning I have experienced is winning a value of  $6 when I was a kid and that was already a huge money for me.
39  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do most of You Traders just use a Laptop for trading with??? ? on: September 13, 2019, 01:39:32 AM

Yes, I prefer laptop. My country has a crappy internet and also expensive so I can only afford a pocket wifi. A pocket wifi needs to be connected on the pc by a cable while laptops don't. So when the internet  connection is making me laggy, I need to move my pc which is very inconvenient for me when trading but if I am in my laptop, I just need to move the pocket wifi anywhere to get the connection smooth again.
