There is the start of a UnoParty NFT project at https://unopunx.unobtanium.uno
UnoPunx will have 1,000 unique images.  In the spirit of Uno's founder, Blazr2, we will distribute them free of charge, as fairly and broadly as possible, in 'tranches' instead of all at once so that more people can learn and participate in the distribution.

It's nothing fancy, and nobody involved thinks they'll rival the cryptopunks community, but it will be an opportunity kick off a fun project on UnoParty to showcase its abilities, and hopefully encourage those still active in the UNO community to take a look at UnoParty, setup an online wallet, and actively learn about how all this works.  UnoPunx will be an interesting collectable for fans of Uno, and should take their place somewhere in a footnote in UNO's long 8 year history.

For those still following hack of Altilly exchange and the loss of UNO there, here is the latest news from the Altilly Telegram channel:

UPDATE 1-31-22  Through a series of company changes it has been decided that Altilly will NOT proceed with reopening.  All refunds will be provided through the exchange "Xeggex".  We are still currently working on all the refund emails but hope to have them all completed soon.

Over on Telegram (t.me/unobtaniumuno), Drew is bringing energy and oxygen to UNO. He has been working to see whether or not assets & nft's could be added to Unobtanium. He's made some good progress in porting CounterParty to Unobtanium as UnoParty.  This is a shot from the Unoparty wallet that lets you create a level 2 asset on top of the UNO blockchain. UnoParty runs on a currency called XUP which is derived from UNO.  Assets can be attached to any UNO address, but it takes the UnoParty wallet to discern the op_return data and recognize your nft's and assets.



UNO is well suited to this because of the fast 3 minute blocks and cheap transactions.

If it pans out, we would like to do a 'crypto punks' style nft drop to give it a stress test.  Will 'uno punks' be the next 'crypto punks?'  Probably not, but it would be a fun exercise.  I applaud Drew for taking this on. Whether it comes to be or not, it has been good learning.

I will always have an interest in Uno. Sadly, after 8 years of following this community project and contributing where I can, I don't bring much to the table any more.
I want to encourage anyone who is interested in stepping up to do so. There is nobody in your way, certainly not me. There is a great project here, long lived, but in need of new energy and oxygen. If you can bring it, please do.

IMO, https://Freiexchange.com is the best centralized option.

Bisq.network and blockdx.com are 2 good decentralized options. I'm partial to BlockDx. I've tried it and traded UNO on both of them, but volume is poor at the moment. They need someone to make markets and get the ball rolling.
