^  Hah, I'm not in it.  Funny thing is there's just a tad over 800k wallets in there.  I was expecting a lot more as LZ was waaay over farmed.  I heard the were 6 million wallets that farmed it.  Cheesy

When I checked the eligibility checker for Drift it said I was eligible to get the airdrop.  But then when I claimed for the airdrop, it said that I wasn't eligible and that all actions made after April 18 might be eligible for the next round.  What does that mean?  I see some guys on Twitter saying that they were marked as sybil.  Does that mean I'm marked as sybil too?  Pretty sure it's wrong as I use just one wallet for airdrops and testnets.

I was also at first eligible but later became ineligible. I used drift long before April 18, so it's definitely that they have marked me as sybil, and guess what I only used one wallet, and wasn't farming with it either, it was genuine few trades.

There was some form you had to fill if you were prior eligible but later weren't, which I filled, if they resolve it, I'll update here.

Quote
What I don't like about those guys marking my wallet as a sybil is they might go on and tell other projects that I'm a sybil.  F that.

Fuck 'em and other projects that use drift's sybil filter, just cause it's false.

Yup, so dumb.  And yeah, I filled out the form and told them they could have the airdrop but also told them that I'm not cheating their stupid airdrop.  It's about the principle now.

Judging from FP1 to FP3, we could have an interesting qualifying coming up in less than a couple of hours.  Will Verstappen and Red Bull come out on top like they usually do?  Possible...  But what will Ferrari have in store for us with the new upgrades and the motivation since it's their home turf?

And here's another thing...  Will McLaren surprise everyone?  :/

2024 F1 Emilia Romagna GP FP3

1   Oscar Piastri   AUS   McLaren F1 Team   1m15.529s
2   Lando Norris   GBR   McLaren F1 Team   1m15.829s
3   Carlos Sainz   ESP   Scuderia Ferrari   1m16.067s
4   Charles Leclerc   MON   Scuderia Ferrari   1m16.087s
5   George Russell   GBR   Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 Team   1m16.095s
6   Max Verstappen   NED   Oracle Red Bull Racing   1m16.366s
7   Alex Albon   THA   Williams Racing   1m16.470s
8   Esteban Ocon   FRA   BWT Alpine F1 Team   1m16.481s
9   Lance Stroll   CAN   Aston Martin Aramco F1 Team   1m16.543s
10   Nico Hulkenberg   GER   MoneyGram Haas F1 Team   1m16.547s
11   Daniel Ricciardo   AUS   Visa Cash App RB F1 Team   1m16.560s
12   Sergio Perez   MEX   Oracle Red Bull Racing   1m16.631s
13   Yuki Tsunoda   JPN   Visa Cash App RB F1 Team   1m16.669s
14   Valtteri Bottas   FIN   Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber   1m16.695s
15   Logan Sargeant   USA   Williams Racing   1m16.794s
16   Kevin Magnussen   DEN   MoneyGram Haas F1 Team   1m16.923s
17   Lewis Hamilton   GBR   Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 Team   1m16.960s
18   Fernando Alonso   ESP   Aston Martin Aramco F1 Team   1m17.339s
19   Pierre Gasly   FRA   BWT Alpine F1 Team   1m17.361s
20   Zhou Guanyu   CHN   Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber   1m17.891s

Interesting how Leclerc is the favorite to get first in quali at 2.75 and Verstappen is at 3.  If the books think one of the Ferraris get pole position would it be worth it to put a little something for Sainz at 10?

^  About Discord roles...  Do you guys think it's worth getting them for airdrops?  I know the Monad 'Nad' role got 8k tokens from Wormhole but other than that, what other Discord roles were lucky enough to receive generous airdrops?  Seems like these roles are also getting sybilled and devs will be forced to drop them as airdrop options.

There are roles that require user to be active in project's discord to get 'em, such I ignore but this was quick, barely took a minute so did it, I don't expect anything.

$DRIFT will also be listed on Coinbase [1], so I expect price to be decent.

2) Claim Oasis AI OG role: https://discord.com/invite/oasisai >> "get-roles" channel >> claim OG role
I already claimed OG role Oasis AI but is this like GRASS mining? I have registered to this dashboard and it shows like this by enabling in the extension.

I dunno about project, I just got the role, that's it.

These nfts have possibility to be value good in case project becomes successful, so I recommend minting this.

What if Bayern Munich's next manager is...  Klopp?  Is that really impossible?  I'd say from a left curver's perspective it couldn't been timed so perfectly.  Bayern Munich needs a good manager and Klopp just left Liverpool.  So why not?  :/

Klopp could bring them their cup game trophy, the league trophy and the UCL trophy.  He could be the club's next great manager after Jupp Heynckes imho.

I don't think that Klopp is going to manage a team at least for a year. It must be quite exhausting to work in the Premier League for a long time. However after a year passes the emotion of competition would make him return to football.

Real Madrid are a quite big favourite in the Champions League finale. However I think that Dortmund have a potential to make a surprise. The nearly 4 odds given for Dortmund to win the trophy sounds really good because of that.

Yeah that too.  Like Guardiola, Klopp prolly needs to go on a sabbatical, recharge his batteries and get the love for the game back after grueling years as an EPL manager.  Not saying he hated being at LFC, it's just the demands and the pressure of being football manager in the best league in the world is grueling.

As for BVB, yup...  We missed a good line tho when it opened at 7.20.  It's now at 5.  But it doesn't really matter if you're not a pro.  Would matter for some of you tho, like Trofo who I know always likes to shop for the best lines.

Is anybody watching FP1?  I see the two Ferrari drivers at the top with Russell with just 16 minutes to go.  Lol.  I guess nothing could really be said except Red Bull doing the whole sand bag FP1, give a little at FP2 and a little more at FP3 before going all out at quali.  Grin

And I'm hearing Verstsppen is competing in a sim racing event too?  What a psycho...  But I guess he's having fun, so good for him.

The latest on UFC 304 Aspinall vs Curtis 2. Contains Dana's take.

Seem to make sense because the first fight was won by injury and the fight didn't take long, we never see any action. This needs to happen before anything else. Hopefully, we'll see how Tom fights Curtis before Jones. If Jones really has plans to fight Tom.

So the UFC decided to run it back...  Nice.  It's somewhat a safe match up for Aspinall but something that could give him a new look if Blaydes decide to go all out and wrestle this guy.  There'll be times when Aspinall's TD defense will be tested and he'll prolly have his back on the canvass at other times with Blaydes throwing bombs at him.  Lmao.

But then again it could be done in under 1.5 rounds with Aspinall winning via KO.  Dunno...  But yeah, good match up imho.

Official weigh ins will be live in 3 hours or so.

As for Bayern and Kane, oddly enough, Bayern does not yet match his level.
Harry Kane's masterclass and uniqueness are very visible in this Bayern team; he has the best touches and has scored the highest for Bayern this season. Next season, with a better manager who is able to recognize the changes he needs to make and the players he needs to bring in to improve the level and standard of the club.

Julian Nagelsmann and Roberto De Zerbi are among the top candidates for the job; maybe with one of them as manager, the level of the Bayern team will rise to match his level, and trophies will follow.

I don't think Bayern fault is only from the coach, sure the way how Tuchel came was not the best one yet I don't blame him, clearly a team like Bayern cannot rely on a single player like Kane no matter how good he might be as a player. The teams who are having success and who are winning either the leagues or Champions League trophies surely have more than one good player to their rose, mostly they also have players of a certain level playing together from a couple of years, while Kane was first season in Champions League he showed that he was great too yet he lacked the support needed from many other players and based on such I think that Bayern needs to bring in some other great players as is clearly evident with such players they will not have a chance to win the Champions League.

What if Bayern Munich's next manager is...  Klopp?  Is that really impossible?  I'd say from a left curver's perspective it couldn't been timed so perfectly.  Bayern Munich needs a good manager and Klopp just left Liverpool.  So why not?  :/

I would love to see this happening yet we have not heard any gossip in sports websites for such thing to happen. If there were any voice over such move I think we would be seeing this news all over such websites.I believe that Klopp is capable of bringing back Bayern the glory they have been missing from quite some years now and I am not refering to the Bundesliga as they have won that title enough,I am refering to winning again the Champions League,in fact for me the only person capable of winning it with Bayern right now is only Klopp.

Not just like the UCL...  Like what I said above, Klopp could bring them the treble.  I think it will be Klopp's first time to win such a feat.  It's only those special kinds of managers who get to win them.  And I think Klopp has it in him and I don't think I'm the only one itt.  Most of you would prolly agree.

But yeah, where else would he go?  I'm seeing some football journos writing that he'll be next England manager.  I'm like wtf really?  He's not even washed yet.  Lol.

Anyway, let's get the discussion back to the next event.  I see a lot of talk but there's almost no info as far as your leans and your picks are concerned.

It doesn't have to be a long drawn out explanation on why you picked a spot.  Just put it out there and give a short reason.

Check this one out.  Post USADA it looks like all the other guys have gotten a lot more durable.  I wonder why.  Grin

Last call before I lock the poll...  The votes aren't ask skewed as I thought it would be.  I thought it would something like 90% no votes after the disappointing close last month.  But yeah...  It's 8 - 12 rn.  Not bad and nice to see some guys still root for BTC to go above 75k.

BTC looks like it's ready to go up again tho.  Still has 15 days or so.

If McGregor really bought Duelbits then damn...  Will we start seeing it everywhere in the UFC?  The canvass, the fence and the ads?  I think Stake has a contract tho.  Duelbits might have to wait til Stake's contract is done.  But nice to see sites from crypto getting up there and getting a lot of exposure.

We have entered another race week which is going to take place in Imola.

The weather conditions at the weekend:

Rain isn't expected on Saturday currently. But on the race day, be ready for an interesting race with some rain.  Smiley

Verstappen became the victim of his own error in Miami and couldn't take the win. I expect a smooth driving from him this time. Norris finally got his first win of his career. I'm already excited to watch him in Imola. However this time Ferrari look likely to step forward. With the circulating big upgrades we can see really decent work by Leclerc - Sainz duo.

Looking at Red Bull and Verstappen's dominance, I'd welcome the rain and the wet track.  That at least would make the race a little more unpredictable and a little bit more fun to watch.  I want it to be 2025 already...  I really hope Horner leaves for Ferrari.  And Newey too.

Anyway here's the schedule for the race weekend.

2024 F1 Emilia Romagna GP Schedule
Track:  Autodromo Enzo E Dino Ferrari

May 17:  Practice 1  13:30 - 14:30
May 17:  Practice 2  17:00 - 18:00
May 18:  Practice 3  12:30 - 13:30
May 18:  Qualifying  16:00 - 17:00
May 19:  Race  15:00
35  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: May 14, 2024, 12:27:29 PM
Once again I am amazed to see Barboza fighting. I think I have been observing him fighting forever. He was fighting when Cerrone was in prime, Ferguson, Khabib. To bad he did not get top opponents today. I think will fit well in current top11-top15. In fact, by looking on him, he does not look old somehow, nor tired from sport.

Yup and winning against good guys in his last couple of matches.  At first glance I got Murphy as I thought he'll have the height and reach advantage.  But I was totally surprised to find out Barboza is taller and prolly stronger in the clinch too.  I think he's a good spot as a slight underdog here.

Here's a replay of him vs Billy Quarantillo who is pretty decent himself.

UFC Free Fight:  Barboza vs Quarantillo

And it's prolly not just the main event.  The event could be underdog city.

It looks like the latest round of airdrops after Wormhole are all dust...  Especially those ones the came from staking DYM and prolly also TIA.  I think we're coming to a point when the airdrop meta starts not dying for a little while.  I feel like the highly anticipated ones like zkSync, Scroll and Linea would eigen the farmers and not pay well.  And with LZ starting their anti sybil measures, other teams could follow suit.

I think the more obscure projects doing airdrops would be surprisingly good.  Projects like DFlow, Curvance and Initia...  Dunno.  And the tokenless bridges could be the most over farmed after LZ.

^  Somewhat of a decent event...  Main event should be good.  Co main with Williams vs Harris should be good too and there's Yanez vs Salvador, Magomedov vs Alves.  It's not a stacked card but as I keep saying...  Better than nothing.  Lol.

Here's a promo vid just to add some hype into it.  Who do you guys got for the main event?

UFC Fight Night:  Barboza vs Murphy Promo
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HhxKzBIl1n4

Derrick Lewis delivered big time. Despite his age and self-admitted poor cardio, he managed to pace himself well enough to make it to round 3 when he KO'd Nascimento.
It wasn't a masterclass performance by either of them but fairly entertaining. A much-needed win for Lewis, who, before that fight, had lost 4 out of the last 5 fights. Now he's back in the game, although I don't think he'll be moved up in the ranks.

To me, the biggest upset was Mateusz Rebecki's loss to Ferreira. Rebecki was a big favourite and it was his chance to break into the top 15 in the most entertaining weight-class in the UFC, but he lost by TKO in rd 3. Hope he'll bounce back as he has potential.

The thing with Lewis is even though he's gassed and tired, he could still carry the power in the later rounds.  He did it in his match vs Volkov and a couple of other guys.  So I'm not totally surprised at all.

^  Didn't Bayern Munich already have Julian Nagelsmann and they gave him the sack for some unknown reason,  It happened after it was said that he was cheating on his wife with some girl who was working as a sports journo...  Not sure if there were some shenanigans there.  But if there was, I don't think he's going back.

Hope he comes over at the EPL.  He would've been a good replacement for Klopp at LFC tbh.  He'll prolly make a good manager at United too.

Huge embarrassment from Man United getting trashed by Crystal Palace of all clubs.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Anyway the books seem to think they're going to lose vs Arsenal at home in Old Trafford, giving them a generous line of 7.20, draw no bet at 5 and double chance at 3.10.  I think these are very good lines as the match is in Old Trafford.  They won't roll over that easy in front of their own fans.

Edit:  Ooo damn...  And just like that the line fell to 6.60, 4.70 and 3.

It was a such a big disappointment for Manchester United fans. Seeing your team being that desperate must be frustrating. Plus, Manchester United have been struggling like this for years...  Sad

When it comes to the odds for the Manchester United - Arsenal match, I see some interesting differences on some websites. Arsenal have the same odds however Manchester United's varies from 7.20 to 6.40.

Maybe it isn't a big deal, I don't know.  Grin  At the end of the day, I just expect Arsenal to win this one way or another. They have to if they want to keep their chance for the PL championship.

If you're sports betting for a living then these small edges really matter imho.  I mean if you could bet some club at 7.20 then why go for 6.40?  The price gap is somewhat big.

Got a feeling Man United will spoil Arsenal's title run.  They are not gonna accept a loss at Old Trafford after a trashing from Crystal Palace.  Lol.  But in fairness to Crystal Palace, their new manager seems really good.  They have no loss since he took over from Roy Hodgson.
