WHAT THE HELL.
The transaction is now back up there, and it says it has been sent 13 hours ago!

It is crazy. I was just about to send 0.2btc and i have to pay more than 0.006 fee! This is outrageous! Almost 300k unconfirmed transactions and it's not getting any better

I would bet my left testicle that Ver is spamming the network like a madman to help his BCH crap increase in value.
Don't go on BCH, it's an old technology, it's just Bitcoin with an 8MB block, move onto real better technologies like IOTA or Byteball, don't make his game!
24  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin is DEAD on: December 21, 2017, 08:20:30 PM
A couple days ago I posted here because of a transaction stuck in the void for which I paid 30 dollars fee.
Now, one hour ago, I sent a transaction with a 130 dollars fee.
ONE HOUR, STILL ZERO TRANSACTIONS, 130 DOLLARS FEE.
I'm sorry to write this, but Bitcoin is DEAD.
I've been a defender of it up until now, but we've gone too far.
Who the hell is going to buy Bitcoin when the word will spread?
When people will try to get their Bitcoins from the exchanges, they'll meet this reality, and Bitcoin will be dead in DAYS, after the word will begin spreading.
Just please don't go on BCH, let's try to move onto better technologies like Byteball.
BTW can anyone tell me what should I pay to move my Bitcoins now?
I have now 4 Bitcoins stuck in the void.
25  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Transaction... DISAPPEARED? on: December 21, 2017, 09:00:26 AM
But I don't have the funds in Coinbase now, and the funds didn't get back to my wallet either.
Where are those Bitcoins?

Hey, dont worry about this, it happened to me the same using my hardware wallet a few days ago, it was a transaction of about $2000 and i was very scared just like you are right now.

I sent it, and then it disapeared from the blockchain.

It was more than 13 without any confirmation (because it was displayed on my wallet), and it didn't appeared on blockchain.info, not even on blockcypher or any of those block explorers.

A few hours after when i got the first confirmation it suddenly appeared on the other wallet, and it was on the blockchain too.

It is just matter of time until it gets the first confirmation, with the actual congestion, it might take DAYS or WEEKS.

OK, thank you... let's wait...

Sorry for boring again, but I would like to understand if I've lost my money and what's going on.
So, here is a snapshot of the address where I have sent ALL my BTC: a little more than 4.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/30qvo3d88z88zyi/btcinmovements.jpg?dl=0

As you can see, there's a little more than 4 BTC sent to a single address.
There's an outgoing very small transaction, and then there's the outgoing transaction of 3 BTC from yesterday, that didn't go through, out of the screenshot.

So I went to check the address to see if the 4 BTC are there and... surprise: there is a part of them. Is this even possible???
The block explorer says there are 2.99 BTC actually on the address, if I read the data right.
https://blockexplorer.com/address/1DL6CQ5LCFa517cAiHJ7Z9KEpRL1mEjWpP

Can someone help me understand, please?
If you have a look at https://blockchain.info/address/1DL6CQ5LCFa517cAiHJ7Z9KEpRL1mEjWpP you can see your final balance after the 9th transaction is roughly 0,5 BTC

The 9th (last) transaction is still unconfirmed, so if that was the transaction you have mentioned in the OP (the amount is the same, 3,05 BTC), then it's still pending and waiting for confirmation. You have sent it with 227 sat/B fee, which is way too little nowdays... (but really much anyway).
You can check also the average tx fee at fork.lol, it's now above 700 sat/B which is ATH too...
You can try to accelerate your transaction in several ways, there's ViaBTC and in the services section you can find other options.
I can just imagine that coinbase also sees the transaction pending, so they haven't received your coins but they can see the unconfirmed transaction and they are still waiting for the confirmations.

Thank you for your help.
But how can there be any confirmations if the transaction hash now is NON EXISTENT?
https://live.blockcypher.com/btc/tx/f8ba7216c918e8b06aa75bbf0d75ac792f023f611697af795b8fab5fc9aa2bdb

And one last question: if the transaction doesn't go through, the funds remain untouched, right?

So you lost your money?

I repeat:
The transaction was VISIBLE ON THE BLOCK EXPLORER FOR HOURS AND HOURS.
AND I have an email from Coinbase. The transaction EXISTED.
no, the coins reappeared in mycelium when i cancelled the transaction and refreshed my wallet, my unconfirmed transaction was visible for hours too, it doesnt mean anything unless its confirmed, neither does an email from coinbase or a letter from the pope

you need to figure out how to cancel the transaction in bitcoin core for android or export your private keys to a wallet that allows you to do such a thing. forget about contacting coinbase because they don't have your coins.

So I'll try to recover from a backup.
Thank you for info!
29  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Transaction... DISAPPEARED? on: December 20, 2017, 01:24:21 PM
The problem is: the transaction was live for several hours, and Coinbas shows it as PENDING.
Luckily I've also received the email from Coinbase, stating that I had received those 3.05 BTC.
I use the Bitcoin Core Wallet on Android, there's no "right click" here.
if a transaction isnt showing up on block explorer it doesn't exist, there's nothing coinbase or whoever was meant to be receiving can do about it

recently had a transaction from mycelium to trezor showing up in trezor as unconfirmed for ages, once i cancelled it on mycelium the pending trezor balance disappeared, this transaction also appeared temporarily on the block explorer then went away

So you lost your money?

I repeat:
The transaction was VISIBLE ON THE BLOCK EXPLORER FOR HOURS AND HOURS.

Sent yesterday from my Bitcoin Core Wallet some BTC to Coinbase.
Here is the transaction link I took from Coinbase: https://live.blockcypher.com/btc/tx/f8ba7216c918e8b06aa75bbf0d75ac792f023f611697af795b8fab5fc9aa2bdb
Up to few minutes ago, this page reported a transaction in progress, even though it still had ZERO confirmations after at least 12 hours.
Now it simply says that there is no transaction with that code.
But I don't have the funds in Coinbase now, and the funds didn't get back to my wallet either.
Where are those Bitcoins?
Now many online unconfirmed transactions,I think because of this. I have already two days do not come and there is no transaction no confirmation

How is it possible that there are transactions and then they disappear?
31  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Transaction... DISAPPEARED? on: December 20, 2017, 12:58:40 PM
if the transaction isn't showing up on block explorer it cant have anything to do with coinbase, try right clicking the transaction in core then hit "abandon transaction" and see if the coins don't reappear in your wallet

The problem is: the transaction was live for several hours, and Coinbas shows it as PENDING.
Luckily I've also received the email from Coinbase, stating that I had received those 3.05 BTC.

32  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Transaction... DISAPPEARED? on: December 20, 2017, 12:07:02 PM
Well, theoretically it is possible to withdraw a transaction from the pool, but it has been seen and it can be always replayed, so it is not recommended. I wouldn't do that myself, anyway, I understand it too little.

Coinbase on the other hand is a different story, they might have done it purposefully because they understand the behaviour very well, or maybe it was just an incident in their system.

So I would go ahead with a formal complaint if I were you and do it ASAP. I bet eventually the money will be found

Thank you for your help! Going to open a ticket immediately.

I am ready to bet that everyone sending BTC in here to have the fork double will lose all.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Poloniex down on: August 02, 2017, 11:25:10 PM
I love how "coins are decentralized" always shoots you in the foot.

Coins are decentralized, exchanges are centralized, because they are private markets (not all of them are centralized though).
You have some problem in understanding this simple concept?
36  Economy / Exchanges / Re: When will Bittrex open BCC deposits? on: August 02, 2017, 04:18:59 PM
When BCC deposits will be opened on other exchanges, BCC value will drop to shit.
Everybody is waiting to do arbitrage with it: bought low on Viabtc, waiting for Bittrex to open deposit and then sell there.

Any idea why I received BYTES but not a single BLACKBYTE?
38  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Please explain me this... on: March 09, 2017, 01:26:28 AM
Thank you everybody for your help, now I understand.
I also found that the Bitcoin Wallet for Android has a function under the Address Book that shows all the addresses owned by the wallet itself.

Darkstar: the verification is about the Byteball drop, I need to put back all the BTC to my originary address, because the bot will assign Byteballs based on the BTC at that address.
39  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Please explain me this... on: March 06, 2017, 11:18:58 PM
You don't have an input equal to X+fees so the wallet creates one from some other input say 5X+fees subtracts the amount X being sent to some address and then send the change 4X to another address within your wallet.

Uhhhhh I'm sorry but I can't understand your sentence...
40  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Please explain me this... on: March 06, 2017, 11:10:21 PM
Can please somebody with good hearth explain me why oh why if I make a transaction, all the rest of my funds is moved onto another address BUT it doesn't show up in the Bitcoin Wallet AT ALL?
Don't use any traditional wallets myself, but my guess is that those are change addresses. They do not show up but they are in your wallet, when you'll try to spend them you will be able to.

But the changes of address add up to the fee, am I wrong? Because I'm not moving X% but 100% each time.

Additionally, it becomes a mess if I want to give one of my addresses as verification, because there won't be any money in that address once I spend a bit of it.
And I'll have to re-move money into that address (pay fee again).
