21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will these coins survive 5 years? on: October 25, 2021, 06:17:56 AM
It depends on the market conditions and situation. But if Ethereum, Cardano and Polkadot will survive because these coins are on the list of coins that are in high demand and have great future potential.
Ethereum and Cardano are having the highest chances of survival after 5 years, they are having huge demand and also the market cap to support it as well. Most of the application are running on the ethereum network, also with the new update the demand for ethereum will also rise drastically.
Also I would like to add BNB to this list as well, being the one of the biggest crypto exchanges, the binance coin is having huge support and new coins are also being launched on the binance smart chain as well.
22  Economy / Economics / Re: Will we see new ATH this year? on: October 24, 2021, 06:43:21 PM
We already see bitcoin reaches a new ATH this year and hopefully, we will see another ATH in the rest of this year so we can get 3 times ATH this year. But that will happen if there is a big demand to buy bitcoin that can increase the price. However, the price now is at $60k means, that the price is down again this day after reaching $61k.
Crypto adaption is increasing day by day, I see crypto related projects sponsoring lots of things these days, like the teams playing in Premiere League, many local news channels being sponsored by crypto exchanges. So people when they watch these adverts start to see what the heck is bitcoin and share it with others and many also buy Bitcoins which is increasing demand and thus the price of bitcoin.
I also deeply feel that we can witness another ATH which is very close once the market starts to pump again.
23  Economy / Economics / Re: When you sell is no longer "yours" on: October 24, 2021, 06:10:26 PM
That was very true, that's why it is very important that you will think deeply before selling our precious bitcoins. It is very important also that we are ready for everything and have a plan when something happens. But, as of today, it feels like we need to hold first our bitcoin, since price is not that high for us to sell. If ever also, there's no emergency or anything, it's better for you to hold it. It is easy to spend rather then to save it, so be wise enough to think a possible scenarios before making a decision, you must think first what would be the possible effect on this. We must always remember that regret is always at the end of all things we did.
But many people sell their Bitcoins or other investments when they are either on top of some better investment or are in dire need of cash. So in the former situation they can get profit over their investment but if they don't do anything good with their cash then they can easily go bankrupt and would face the same situation again in the future.
Also some people like me who brought Bitcoins in 2015 and thought that even a 30% profit is also good and sold most of their coins are now regretting their decision, but I can say for a fact that at the time of selling they were pretty happy on the profit that they made (also just like myself).
24  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is it safe to use Binance on VPN on: October 23, 2021, 09:19:14 AM
I would like to know is it safe to use the binance account through VPN ? The main reason for asking is that since VPN changes locations ( IP of different countires), binance may find it suspicious that one day you are login from one country and other day from another country.
Since they keep track of of our location, will it have any affect on your account ?

Also anyone can share his / her experience of using binance on VPN ?
Using free vpn for accessing your binance account can be risky because of the constantly changing IP addresses and all. But you can purchase residential proxies at a cheap price from the various marketplaces on the web that will grant you a dedicated IP address which will be better since binance will be knowing your single IP and that won't pose any threat to your account as well.
Or the other best option is to purchase a VPN and always use single location while accessing your binance account.

27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to understand that you are making a mistake? on: August 04, 2021, 08:30:41 PM
Have you ever had a situation when you realized that you were making a mistake, but you just keep on doing it. For example, buying some kind of hype shit coin about which you are absolutely sure that in the end it will become garbage, but in the short term there are chances to get a good profit, but in the end everything turns out the other way around.

Share your stories.
I had a very similar incidence in the past where I used to trade on the daily Market and was generating good returns while having no knowledge about the charts and market sentiments, but one day my 0.5 btc investment turned to zero just because the coin that I choose was just a pump and dump scheme and the dev dumped all his coins the same day. After that I always invested in the coins having good background and having decent market cap. These days bitcoin and other crypto are rising in value and the same thing is also happening with my portfolio that I have made in these years.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in cryptocurrencies. on: August 04, 2021, 07:53:20 PM
Some say cryptocurrency is a low risk investment but high return and also does this digital currency have a fundamental value so that it is feasible for investment?
What do you think ?
Most of the people are not here because of the fundamental values that cryptocurrencies provide, but they are here because of the profit that they can earn in the least amount of time by investing in cryptocurrencies.
In cryptocurrencies too there is quiet a lot of risk and investors always say that you only make good profits on high risk investments. High risk translate to higher rewards most of the time. But the crypto investor must learn risk management as a lot of scams are easily detected by just paying due diligence and by doing some research about the project.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What would you rather buy for the long term right now...BTC or ETH? on: August 04, 2021, 09:06:59 AM
Simple question. Between BTC and ETH what would you want to load up on right now if you could only choose one?

Personally I'd go with ETH, but that's because I already have a lot more Bitcoin than ETH.
I would invest in both, there is no complete bitcoin or ethereum like scenario for me. I don't like to put all my eggs in one basket and I like to diversify my investments.
I can't risk to loose it all when it comes to investment and play it safe, while investing in both bitcoin and ethereum, I am limiting the risk of loosing money in case my investment experience bearish trend. While riding both the boats(ethereum and bitcoin) I can guarantee that I will be making decent amount of profit in the long run.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Suggestions for Long-Term Investment on: August 03, 2021, 04:52:57 PM
that's the research you did, so you dare say to invest $10,000, my advice is better even though this prediction has a great chance of making a profit by investing in TRX and XRP we have to personally analyze how the chart is currently flowing, we Don't point it at one post which results in making decisions that result in losses, it is necessary to study the market first before jumping in to invest.
This also not guarantee that you will make profit on every trade that you make while studying the chart and analysing the chart patterns. I also used to trade coins on a daily basis in the past and on holidays and weekends now a days and one thing about which I am sure is that no matter how much you have studied and researched the market can still go against you and it is that moment for which we have to prepare. But as the OP said that to invest $10k in XRP and TRX, I highly doubt that they will show good profits in the coming future as well. XRP is known for showing good profits one day and then plummeting the next day due to which I am always sceptical while investing in XRP.
31  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we live without btc? on: August 03, 2021, 02:30:28 AM
yes we can live without bitcoin even in this world now there are still places that don't know bitcoin and don't know how it works so basically bitcoin is not a top priority because every country still has fiat
When we ask people who don't know bitcoin of course they will say no problem,
but on the other hand when we ask people who are looking for income from cryptocurrencies, especially bitcoin, I think they will find it difficult to accept it
if bitcoin falls then it would be causing a market crash, but I think that would last for just small amount of time and then the market would bounce again and will most probably make ethereum the king of cryptocurrencies. The people who make their living from bitcoin will definitely find other alternative cryptocurrencies for earning their income, most people on the forum here also earn from the altcoin board rather than other boards, just my two Satoshi.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH adoption lately is high on: August 02, 2021, 07:05:42 PM
It seems like Ethereum will reach a new ATH the second time again, hours back I read news that whales are investing 500million dollars on ETH which is a good plan that they are preparing for PoS algorithm rewards, the adoption rate looks way higher than BTc or am I wrong?
Everyone with excess money is kind of trying to hold the golden number of 32 ether which is required to start staking their ether on the network after the update.
This update was long awaited and once it gets published then a lot of people will start staking their ethers. There have been quiet a few delays in the launch but now it looks promising and people are also buying the hype due to which the ethereum price isn't following bitcoin now a days. I guess after the update the price can fall due to the hype reduction, but that's my guess.
33  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoins kill Central Banks? on: August 02, 2021, 02:21:59 PM
impossible. Bitcoin cannot replace the position of banks. Different in nature. Banks are centralized and important to the government and the people. If there is no bank, I guess I can't buy bct. But if I choose where to put my money, I will choose btc Smiley
Then bitcoin is just an investment that people like us invest into. Whereas banks on the other hand are the critical part of the economy that keeps the country running.

Also the amount that banks account for daily is beyond the reach of bitcoin and is far greater than the current market cap of all the cryptocurrencies combined. So bitcoin can't replace banks, but maybe we can see a future where everyone is using centralised digital currencies to transact in day to day life.
34  Economy / Economics / Re: What kind type of market player you are? on: August 02, 2021, 01:27:50 PM
Part time trader, holder and crypto miner, actually I prefer trading only in bull season, it gives me more chances to success trading and I buy coins only when market is in very bad situation for long term, as so mining I never stopped for once even when the market isn't in my favour
How do you manage to get funds in the case of a recession, when the market is in a bad shape. Do you just keep the funds in the account and then invest them at the time of crash or you take a loan or something and then invest those funds. Cuz I have also tried waiting for the right time, but mostly I am not successful investing huge amounts at a single time because I never have that much saved at a single time.
I invest periodically and when the market crashes I invest whatever I have left inside my bank account which is generally very less to be honest.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Most Bullish Altcoin of the moment on: August 01, 2021, 03:04:11 PM
NFT is the wave of the moment and just like every other era e.g. defi and ico of the past is always risky and investors have to be careful in avoid investing in a wrong project, while some are successful others are just shitcoins. I think the most bullish altcoin of the moment is ethereum because of its trading volume.
Ethereum's growth curve is not that good and in the future also it will not climb as much as compared to other new projects. Ethereum is a more established coin due to which it is very less volatile so chances of getting a high return over investment are pretty less. But I agree with your first part of the post and also think that NFT tokens are going to pump up the market after DeFi frenzy.
So, best bet would be to invest in the new NFT tokens and the NFT marketplaces.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Cardano overthrow Ethereum? on: August 01, 2021, 01:09:19 PM
anything can happen in cryptocurency. although currently the price of Ethereum is more higher than Cardano, the current function may be that Cardano is better than Ethereum, especially transaction fees. but in my opinion Ethereum is very difficult to overthrow by any altcoin because ethereum has a strong and large volume and demand in all exchange markets. although the transaction fees are currently high.
The transaction fees is also a major factor that diverts investors and other small players away from the project, first bitcoin was having high transaction fees when it was most popular coin in the ICO frenzy era. Now in the DeFi era Ethereum is having huge gas costs, then it can also be replaced by Cardano or any other coin if something is not done for this issue.
I used to exchange my bitcoin for ethereum to get away from paying huge transaction fees when transacting between the exchanges and now I tend to use USDT for the same purpose as it gets the job done pretty easily.

I am more inclined to either waves for overthrowing ethereum as it is also having a great potential and is undervalued for the features that it provides.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you recommend staking? on: July 27, 2021, 07:39:27 PM
Wouldn't it be better if you staked on Binance? although the APR is small, the risk of losing coins is very small and of course if you are looking for a high APR it usually occurs in some newly listed tokens or some tokens that are currently hype, if for BSC many pay a high APR but all risks can certainly happen.
I don't trust exchanges for my own coins, I prefer to stake the tokens on a private server as if it gets hacked then it would be because of my own mistakes and no one else would be responsible for my loss. But if Binance gets hacked due to any fault then we would be the ones loosing the coins.
I personally invest and stake those coins which are already established, even if they have very less staking rewards but still they would yield good profit in the future as my bag is being bigger in size with time and the value of token would also increase with time as well.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Altcoin season started again? on: July 27, 2021, 06:37:14 PM
The news that is happening right now is about Elon Musk being interested in promoting about crypto. I think this is very good news for all of us, especially crypto enthusiasts in investing and of course with this news it is something we are really looking forward to how the crypto market will turn out. I sincerely hope for a miracle to increase the market price of bitcoin and altcoins, and may this be to the benefit of all of us.
Elon Musk was also promoting cryptocurrencies in the past few months as well and since he became an influencer in the crypto world, there have been a few incidences where the market pumped and dumped just because of his tweets and he also knew that very well.

He knew that people value and trust his opinion and took advantage of it by pumping bitcoin and doge coin and later on dumping Bitcoins at its peak price.
39  Economy / Economics / Re: Will some companies like Amazon really 'store' Bitcoins? on: July 27, 2021, 04:13:53 PM
They'll probably find a way to pass the risk of saving/storing bitcoin onto investors. They'll probably use a payment gateway and prematch otc trades as much as possible so they can sell btc at a fixed amount for that period of time - like if investors were interested in dollar cost averaging.

Either that or they'll issue bonds to users of amazon that want to invest or hold btc and become an exchange themselces - finance is one of the remaining industries they haven't done much with/they could always team up with a bank on it too.
For issuing bonds n all they would have to apply for another lisence or not?? It will be a completely different market segment and I guess that would pose certain risks as well.
Amazon would certainly hold Bitcoins if there is an advantage of holding Bitcoins to them, if not then they would sell the coins either with some profit or just keep holding Bitcoins till they are in profit and then sell the coins. But the thing is that they would have to start accepting Bitcoins first before all other things.
40  Economy / Economics / Re: Amazon will accept Bitcoin payment this year on: July 26, 2021, 07:55:31 PM
This is an amazing piece of news. Amazon is the largest online retail shop and its adoption and acceptance of bitcoin as a means of exchange would go a very long way in the adoption of bitcoin in the mainstream world.
You should know that one of the limiting factor of the adoption process is the fact that bitcoin can't be spent on items used on a day to day basis. However, this development has brought an end to this claim as every bitcoin user can now spend their coins.
But the problem of buying low cost items with the help of bitcoin remains there. What would a person who want to buy a low cost items off of Amazon and wants to pay with bitcoin would do as everyone know the transaction involved here are drastically high as compared to the price of item that they want to purchase off Amazon. The best bet would be to load your Bitcoins in an Amazon wallet and spend bit by bit there, sending Bitcoins every time when we transact off Amazon would be a painful situation.
