41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the weirdest thing about crypto? on: July 26, 2021, 04:43:21 PM
It's weird that the popularity of meme coins has increased since the start of this year. For those that have noticed it, they might not find it weird. But if you've been in the market for a few years, although there's a resemblance with the ICO craze but I still find it weird that many people invested in those.
Most people follow the trend, first a coin rise in price then there is news about it in the market as the people who posts those news might be getting some benefit from it. Either they would have invested in that meme coin or maybe paid to promote the coin. Then comes the people who blindly follow others, they are influenced by such posts and invest in the coin thinking of getting quick profit from the trend.
In this process many make huge returns who invest early in the token and who join late become bag holders as they are buying the coins that are being sold by the early buyers of the coin.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why do you keep allcoins? on: July 26, 2021, 07:20:05 AM
One of the best solutions is to just buy a stakeable token monthly and in the next bull run, slowly sell off the staking rewards. I'm personally staking NEAR and Celo. NEAR has some of the highest staking rewards and Celo is backed by the WEF and Bill Gates.
Highest staking rewards also translate to higher inflation rates, right? If so, then the token will be less valuable in future as compared to today, unless the team has other plans with the token and is constantly evolving the token then it would be valuable to invest into.
I personally like to invest in the newly launched tokens on the Binance smart chain and just hold them for a couple of weeks to max a month or so, if the price doesn't rise like 10x or so then I keep them for some more time and if the price go beyond my expectations then I sell the tokens, but this is a high risk high reward strategy and I have lost money in many scam tokens as well, so not a big fan of holding low market cap coins for longer time intervals.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market is recovering, what steps are you taking? on: July 25, 2021, 08:37:55 PM
This was written on June 28th but I guess it applies to now as the market really is recovering now. Bitcoin just broke out of a long term RSI downtrend. The scene is set for a 6 month bull run now. The steps I’m taking are simple, HODL & wait for the peak of the bull run.
Would you like to tell me the steps that you take to determine the peak of the bull run, I have tried selling on the top of the bull run in the past but most of the times I was completely wrong in measuring the top and Misunderstood the chart and sold way before the top which costed me a fortune of lost potential profit.
The steps that I am taking are pretty simple, I just buy the coins that are most affected by the bearish trend along with investing in Bitcoins and am holding my bags and hoping to ride a bull run soon.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: will Binance be the next Ethereum? on: July 25, 2021, 07:56:46 PM
in my opinion it is impossible, ethereum will maintain its existence as the second best digital currency after bitcoin. even with all its flaws ethereum has surpassed its highest price since ethereum was developed. from there I saw that ethereum is an altcoin that cannot be replaced by any altcoin including binance.
Binance coin being backed by the largest exchange for cryptocurrencies can surpass ethereum according to me. It is showing more development than ethereum in the recent times and a lot of projects should be leaving ethereum soon because of the high gas fees to execute the transaction on the ethereum blockchain whereas the fees being in pennies on the Binance chain it is easier to transact there. The new features that were supposed to happen on the ethereum chain are also taking a lot of time, more than the promised one which makes us question about the dedication of the developers towards the project as well.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ready for 2025 run otherwise its time and money wasting on: July 24, 2021, 12:03:08 PM

2018 ATH passed and went 3x 65000USD to BITCOIN. Now we again expecting to go 100,000 and 130000. I think its useless point now. its better to wait 2025. just accumulate usdt and ready for 2025.

It's better to wait in crypto but I don't think 2025 will be so long the market will rise rapidly. Now is the right time to hold on because this time if the market rises it will double according to the current market situation the right time to collect bitcoin and altcoin.
Also the OP said it wrong on the opening post, we must accumulate bitcoin at these cheap prices, $30k is a bargain as compared to the price that we saw a few months back, and if we just invest in USDT then there would be no point in waiting for the bull run as the price rise very very rapidly in those times and if at that time we aren't heavy on Bitcoins then God save us. Right now we should start investing in bitcoin and when the bullish trend starts then we can reap the profits at that time.

47  Economy / Economics / Re: I lost my job, how about you guys? on: October 11, 2020, 07:31:51 PM
I know the only thing that will help me survive this crisis is cryptocurrency that is why I am active here again because fiat had failed me.

just think about the following:

what if you had a business in the real world? you wouldn't be fired, right? so the problem is not in the fiat, it is in the fact that you are a worker in a company that suffered because of the pandemic, cryptocurrencies do not work miracles and are not the salvation of the world. if you look at the cryptocurrency market, you will realize that also if you don’t have your own business you could also be fired or not be paid.
There is also another fact that a lot of businesses were closed because of the pandemic and out of those a lot were running very close to breaking point, now they are out of business and need to pay the loan that they took from the banks for building the business, so the risk is equal in both the cases whether you are working as an employee or are the employer. Using cryptocurrencies make you available worldwide and not in a specific area, for instance if one area is having financial troubles or maybe a cou then you will still be getting customers from other areas as well.
48  Economy / Economics / Re: Wipe out on crypto vs wipe out on stock market? on: October 11, 2020, 04:17:09 PM
I think crypto is superior because the latter person still can keep the crypto in their wallet, while the former person get wipe out and left with debt worth of a student loan.
Crypto is definitely superior than trading stocks where you loose everything that you had once the market goes south. But i always sell whatever i had in a coin if it goes into a dump phase to cut my losses, so I guess others would also be doing the same.

This only holds true if a person is actually buying the coins, but if the person is doing margin trading on an exchange then the same would happen as if trading stocks that he will loose his entire balance that he put in that trade if the market goes south.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not be fooled on: October 10, 2020, 08:40:05 PM
What dead? crypto like btc hold its position tightly even we can see the price of bit touched so far $12k during Covid-19. Eth also raised about to $500 when lots of people sold their assist during corona epidemic. So how could anyone say, crypto is going to die? Crypto is upgrading daily and those are going to lead the upcoming future. So be claver & do trust on crypto
Crypto also fell pretty hard at the start of pandemic and then it started to rise just like the stock market. I think there is a lot of manipulation going on in the market right now and we are just like the pawna in a game of chess who doesn't matter much. We are easily manipulated by the whales, when they take the price down we always panic sell our coins and whenever they pull the market up we become happy and start hodling the coins but instead we should sell at that time to take the profits.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is UniSwap the most powerful in the Defi market? on: October 10, 2020, 06:30:23 PM
At the moment, uniswap is most likely the most popular cryptocurrency exchange and I think even uniswap has overtaken binance, and with the release of uni, the uniswap exchange has become much more popular, so I think that the uniswap exchange will have an incredible future, and while defi sphere is very popular and in demand, more and more investors and traders will use uniswap.
I guess this is solely because people are now a days privacy oriented and thus they don't want to put their money on the Exchanges where the chances of hack are pretty high and on the decentralized exchanges we don't need to create any account, so the privacy is always there and also the funds are safe as they are always in your wallet and it is also quick way to exchange the funds in just a single transaction.
51  Economy / Economics / Re: One of the biggest problem Now with currencies on: October 10, 2020, 05:39:18 PM
Thank you for your search on Kyrgyzstan. Which allowed me to find more information about this country. Kyrgyzstan is facing serious corruption problems.

Quote
Law enforcement authorities have detected an illegal cryptocurrency mining farm on the territory of a local free economic (FEZ).

https://www.google.com/amp/s/cointelegraph.com/news/authorities-find-illegal-bitcoin-mining-farm-in-kyrgyzstan-free-economic-zone/amp

Discovering that the people involved are members of the government, Organizations and executives of the FEZ.
The Kyrgyzstan Parliament considers regulating crypto mining activities and apply tax.
Hopefully the country can get rid of corruption and activities related to cryptocurrencies help improve its economy.

In most of the cases it is the government officials only that are having a major chunk in the illegal activities because they have all the information that is necessary for doing the activity and also they take a hefty leverage over the people that are currently doing the illegal activities like that in India where the politicians were also involved in running a scamming team of people in the early 20s who were scamming people out of their money by committing the credit card frauds and transferring the money in the bank accounts of the local people who were uneducated and were given some cash benefit for their troubles.
52  Economy / Economics / Re: Not enough Corona Virus Vaccine until 2024, at earliest on: October 10, 2020, 04:55:37 PM
Yes, because in 2024 we will all be inmuned. According to WHO, more than 10% of the population of the world is already immune, and i think this is going to be the real vaccine for 2021
Even if the vaccine arrive in the year 2021 then it will be the fastest vaccine developed by the mankind against any virus because the fastest vaccine was developed for mumps and that also took four years, even if the vaccine against COVID is developed in the next year then the vaccination of general public all around the world will take a lot of time, also then there will be the problem of vaccinating the people in the poor parts of the world.
53  Economy / Economics / Re: rich people super rich are taking loans now why? what it means ? on: October 10, 2020, 03:56:45 PM
Wealthy people are brave enough to borrow more money because they have a lot of assets and they can pay what they owed. Maybe they use it to run their businesses and to grow and earn more in the future.
It is mostly because of the fact that they have more beautiful deals under their sleeves and whenever they have somewhat need for more cash they take a loan because they are sure that they will repay the loan along with the interest on the borrowed money and still be making a lot of profit from the loan that they took, so there isn't a lot of risk involved in these loans for them as they know how to handle these kind of risks in day to day life.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in your ability to earn more. on: October 09, 2020, 10:53:20 PM
I agree with you to be a good investor because being an investor is very profitable. Before actually plunging into investing, we must make a strategy to be successful in investing. This strategy is useful to guide us in determining the direction of investment and making decisions when financial conditions are not good.
And for making those plans we need a good adviser and that requires money, the more you are willing to spend the better is the advisor that you are going to get in return and thus the better will be your financial education, thus it holds true that we are going to need to invest in our ability to earn more and in that way we will be better off instead of spending all our earnings in random places we should save it and then spend it on increasing our ability to do work in a better way.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Safest cryptocurrency wallets on: October 09, 2020, 08:27:03 PM
So here, in my opinion the safest wallet is a paper wallet, because physically you don't have online access. but If we talk about hot wallets - the most important thing is to be able to know your private key, seed phrase and maybe you can use a mobile wallet like Trustwallet.
As far as I know all the wallets that let you sweep your private key are the safest and the other thing to note is whether the wallet is stored online or offline, if stored online then the wallet can be hacked so it isn't safe at all. Hardware wallets from the reputable sources are the safest wallets out in the market. I personally like to use vanitygen along with electrum thru which I can generate my personalised addresses and then import them in my electrum wallet with the private key.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It is not easy to make money in cryptocurrency on: October 09, 2020, 07:33:12 PM
I agree it is not easy to make money, but if we are smart in analyzing a new project we can get a big prize but this is difficult to find at this time. I hope that in the future there will be even better projects like in 2017
It's hard, yes. But I think it's easier than 2019 or even in early 2020 where everythng you invested on every project is ended up as a scam. I would prefer to invest on this DeFi hype train right now, I know some of the projects are also scams but you can filter those out pretty easily since most of these scammers project are using plagiarized wallpaper and shitty teams composition.
I still am facing problems in earning decent income from the Campaigns, it used to be good back in 2016 when every project used to be a good one and only a few projects used to be scam projects of which the current market is the complete opposite where most of the projects tend to be scam and only a few are good to participate in. And even when we find a good project then the chance of getting good returns is small.
57  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are people giving up on Bitcoin too quickly? on: October 09, 2020, 05:26:22 PM
I think there are those people that don't actually care what happened to bitcoin. As long as they can get a profit out of their investments, they would invest in bitcoin and get out to their advantage. In the end, if we will be looking at the long run, I think the ones holding for a long time get the higher profit than those getting out quickly.
This is not always the case if you ask me, for example if we see the case of DeFi projects the early adopters are always the most profited when they sell early and the people who come late in the projects are the ones who are buying from these early adopters. So I guess selling late isn't the right choice always, I think there is always a time to ride the hype wave and then sell the coins when the hype is about to cool down as at that time we will be getting the most profit out of the investment.
58  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people avoid bitcoin? on: October 09, 2020, 03:58:05 PM
The most important reason for people to avoid Bitcoin even when they're told that such transaction would be much faster is the risk. They trust banks and feel like the money will go through even if it takes a week.

They don't trust Bitcoin because to get it they have to register on exchanges and these exchanges are known for losing money, getting hacked, going bankrupt and employing lazy and unprofessional support.
People also feel safe in using banks for saving their money because they think that the money would be safe in the banks as compared to saving it in their own bitcoin wallets as there isn't any risk in loosing their money if they store it in the baks but if they store it in their bitcoin wallets then they can actually loose it if they forget their wallet seed or the password and then there won't be any other way to recover those lost funds.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is UniSwap the most powerful in the Defi market? on: October 02, 2020, 08:34:17 PM
Uniswap was definitely the place to go if you wanted to invest in any of those defi projects that appeared in the last weeks and months.
I mean its obvious you don't need to wait for a CEX to approve your application. You just open up a pool yourself and provide liquidity and thats it.
This also means though that anyone can add his scam coin to uniswap without further checking.
Uniswap is I think having the most volume of all of the DeFi exchanges, even it could be having the highest volume of all the decentralized exchanges. But I don't think that the Scammers would provide any liquidity to the token that they created as then they would be risking their own money that they are sure is going to loose if they provide liquidity in the exchange. People are also crazy over DeFi right now and I think this is a bubble which is going to bust, I mean there is no way that a coun that was launched a month ago will gain $500 million market valuation without having any advantages over its predecessors, unless we are living in a bubble, just like the housing market of 2008.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My take on DeFi bounties on: October 02, 2020, 07:19:10 PM
One way to get attention from investors to take advantage of the hype this moment. Similar but not the same. In my opinion, the initial technical analysis is needed here even though the analysis level of each person is different.
Even though there used to be a lot of ICO rating websites then also there used to be many scams related to ICO at that time, the same is also happening now where we have to choose in between the legit DeFi projects and the fake ones and we don't have the right platforms to filter out the scam projects. I guess we shouldn't invest in the DeFi projects that that aren't having a good community support as most of the times community does make the right choice.
