Bittrex for me. They look minimal, seamless, and clean. Never got used to the charts in Polo, their layout has just too much numbers for me.
1022  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Suggest a bitcoin wallet have PayPal support on: April 17, 2017, 01:45:28 PM
You can, but don't bother, unless you're willing to pay really huge fees. It's not really worth it except if you're laundering huge amounts.

If you are from US, you can use Coinbase to purchase bitcoin using paypal. But if you are not from US, you may try the trusted users who swap Bitcoin to Paypal.

1023  Economy / Economics / Re: The Real Reason to Hold Gold And Bitcoin on: April 17, 2017, 01:37:13 PM
I believe that Bitcoin and gold is best as store of value.  They are incline to increase in price in the long run.  So to defeat the depreciation of a currency,  It is best to to buy Bitcoin or gold and hold it for a very long time.  Just for example, a $1000 worth of Bitcoin today may probably $10,000 worth after 10 years.
But gold seems to be a stable investment rather than bitcoin itself. In these days more people interested in using bitcoin to be an investment place for his money. I can say they know if bitcoin can growing up in the future exceed the gold itself.
Bitcoin still best rather than gold.

Gold is gold and it can not be depreciated even if a miracle happens and bitcoin overtakes it. Bitcoin is very unstable and it takes a long time to become more stable as gold.

It does depreciate, but it doesn't happen very often and almost always not so drastic, that's why it's a 'safe haven' to most investors, along with other precious metals.
1024  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will we see $1300 again? on: April 17, 2017, 01:07:08 PM
May 14, 2017 10:16 UTC Bitcoin will be $1300 on Bitfinex.

LOL how can you be so sure about that? I don't think we can predict exact date and time to achieve that price in coming days and may be will see price going even down in coming months so we cannot be assure about anything especially when it comes to the price of bitcoins.

Well if you have some kind of an insider info you can.
1025  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: April 17, 2017, 01:04:48 PM
Houston Rockets 118 - 87 Oklahoma City Thunder

A 31-point blowout, what's up with that?

I can vouch for Cryptopay, used them for a while back then.  Smiley
1027  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Turn Gambling into a Profitable Activity on: April 16, 2017, 04:36:30 PM
The only way to turn gambling into a profitable activity will be to first play a game that can give you some kind of profit at all, and one of the few games where that is possible is poker since you are not playing against the house but against other players.

There is no game that will keep on giving profit for us instead of investment. If you want to keep on "winning" then investment is the right answer . Investor keep winning in the long run therefore this is more profitable rather gambling. Im not saying that you will get profit all the time but the chance is better than gambling directly
yes trading and investing alt coin are the only why in bitcoin that can give us good profit, while without these thing there are very little chance to get money.
I like to invest in altcoins also especially when I do not have much money to start, at least in altcoins you can turn your money x10 if the assets you are investing will pump, that is the nature of altcoins investment, it is very risky but it can also offer great returns.

A few years ago this would have been so much possible, but now new good alts with a good chance of getting a 1000% ROI come rare.

@OP if you can analyze games, sportsbetting can be really profitable.
1028  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: April 16, 2017, 04:34:16 PM
Series will be difficult for the Cavaliers.

If they won only by 1 point today, then they will more than likely lose the games at Indiana and the series will go to 7 games, because Indiana probably will win at least 1 game in Cleveland

Let's see if the bulls can upset Boston today

Never thought the Pacers can fight them actually, seems to me this series is gonna be like the conference finals several years ago.
1029  Economy / Speculation / Re: effect of Japan on bitcoin price speculation on: April 16, 2017, 04:05:05 PM
Japan's interest in Bitcoin is not because of olympics. I think it's because of power war between China and Japan.

China controls majority of Bitcoin, Japan might be want to shift the power to their country.

Why so much politics for a currency aimed to be free from government manipulation, it's just the BTCBTCBTC and blockchain space maturing IMO. Besides, more countries getting a bigger share of the economy is always good.
1030  Economy / Speculation / Re: [UPDATE] $1,200 HITTED (Next goal is $1,300) on: April 15, 2017, 04:00:39 PM
I think we are not going to see 1300 until May or June since we will need new money in order to make that push and reach that price and we will probably need even more good news coming for bitcoin to gives us a rally.

I think it will be hard to hit $1300 on May or June, because the price of bitcoin is kind of weird. If you look at the chart, when the bitcoin's price reach $1210+ the bitcoin price going down suddenly to $1180+ and the price increase again slowly and repeat. I don't know what happen but i think it means the price of bitcoin is stable for now.

It just means that the $1220-$1250 resistance is very, very strong. You need a real positive trigger - like ETF approval or solution to the blocksize debate for these resistance levels to be breached.

Which just means one thing, it won't happen soon. These debates are taking and delaying development for a really long time IMO.
1031  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC doing good after this big dump on: April 15, 2017, 10:12:17 AM
At the moment price is quite unpredictable even after this drop it recovered so quickly. Now chance is so good to touch $1300 in next run I think next week this will happen and before end of Q2 it will be over $1500 with this trend.

Could be a trap? I didn't even feel it. Maybe one mining company needed to pay their bills.

It's all part of the cycle I suppose.
1032  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: April 14, 2017, 02:47:14 PM
San Antonio Spurs-Memphis Grizzlies

This is Potentially interesting round. This teams played 4 games in this season and both win twice,on their own court. Off course, play off is totally different thing than regular season and Spurs showed us numerous of times how serious team they are, great job coach Pop and his assistants are doing, but nobody can win that easy on Grizzlies court, so we might have ourselves a six or even seven game show to watch.

If this was the same Memphis 2-3 seasons back they would've had the chance to take the series, now I don't think so. Their twin tower's not as dominant as they've been. Spurs probably in 6.
1033  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTC.com Transaction Accelerator on: April 14, 2017, 02:42:58 PM
pushtx.btc.com is down at the moment. Any idea when it will be open again?
Or any other alternatives ?

I hope it doesn't, that service is a joke IMO.
1034  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 60,000 Unconfirmed transaction and counting on: April 14, 2017, 02:30:42 PM
What exactly is going on here?: https://blockchain.info/unconfirmed-transactions Is it possible that It's some kind of attack from miners to make people think that we need Bitcoin unlimited? Hash rate is no longer being displayed on the first page for some reasons so I can't tell exactly.

Yeah, it is definitely a spam attack i think.

Even Coinbase has a hell of a ton of transaction backlog to go through. And although usually their transactions can stay pending for minutes before it is actually broadcasted onto the bitcoin blockchain, I waited like 1 hour for my transaction to go through today.

Make sure you pay enough fees, otherwise you're screwed.

I learned that lesson the hard way a while ago, luckily after about 30 hours the transaction went through.

These days you can't even just let your wallet decide the fees, even with dynamic ones, you always have to countercheck.
1035  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: April 14, 2017, 05:05:17 AM
everyone is calling him MVP, so he probably won't, specially if OKC is eliminated in the first round

The word you used is "IF" so just wait.

And you are wrong. There is no impact for the criteria when choosing MVP if Oklahoma City Thunders will eliminated in the first round of Playoffs.

If the playoffs result is included when choosing a MVP in the whole season then how it was called "SEASON MVP"?
That's a correct analysis, this coming playoffs is not part of the criteria in determining the season's MVP. Based on my analysis, it's pretty clear that westbrook will be the MVP, the triple double thing is a solid statistics as a basis and I don't even think if anyone could even compete to his stats.

Stats are one thing but winning games is another. WestBrook may have the better stats but Harden has the higher wins.

Anyway, we'll find out soon.
1036  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: April 13, 2017, 01:53:40 PM
I lost today on betting on Spurs against jazz. My bad i didn't listen to my instinct. Spurs now was preparing for their play-offs game. Deym coach pop. He is a very strategic coach by sacrificing remaining match on regular season for preparation. I will bet again on spurs when thry play against grizzlies.
I lost also for the spurs. I didn't expect it's a thrown game for them but im contented because all of their star players played unlike in cavs also lost with them.

Coaches do that all the time, especially Pops. You should've known.

Anyway, the Playoffs are here! It's that time of the year again. Excited for the HOU-OKC matchup Grin
1037  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price. Whats your prediction? on: April 13, 2017, 01:36:40 PM
Anyone think that Taas' success/failure can affect the price?

Seems to me it can ripple whatever that effect is.
1038  Economy / Speculation / Re: Any pumps or dumps in the pipeline ? on: April 13, 2017, 05:48:07 AM
This is getting boring sideways.....Anything coming up to shake the market ?

Well if everyone knew when market shakes are coming it isn't gonna shake it anymore. Besides, inside info is always gold, nobody's gonna share that in public.
1039  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BitBond is it safe to use this lending service? on: April 13, 2017, 05:31:58 AM
Well that's the drawback but we are talking about the platform and not its user.

The two things can't be untangled. A platform like that will automatically be infested with scum so there's no point in even considering it.

Such a shame. These kinds of development were the forefront of BTCBTCBTC in the past, banking the unbanked and all the like. Too bad it was abused so badly.

Los Angeles Lakers Vs Golden State Warriors

This is the last game of the regular season and Lakers are in hot form, winning their past 5 games. It would be tough to expect the Lakers to win here but Lakers will try to keep the score respectable by losing less than 10 points. I am sure Steve Kerr would rest a few of their players for the playoff as this game is not really important for the Warriors. My bet is on Lakers +13.5 as I don't see Warriors having much motivation to win the Lakers by a blowout.

Aren't the Lakers gearing up for a loss too? I mean, I know they'd like to get better picks for the draft.
