901  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What the top 5 best coins to invest in? on: June 25, 2017, 06:11:20 AM
I'd only recommend BTC and eth. Although the ship has already sailed for these two.

Waves, yes, but with due diligence.

Ever tried Bitify? I've bought once from this service and yes I've had a good experience with it.

Pretty exciting where Blake Griffin would be playing next. I hope he goes to HOU, they need good post players there. Grin
904  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC can be a great store of value. Not for small transactions. on: June 25, 2017, 03:10:54 AM
BTC can be a great store of value without being able to use it for small transactions. Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater.

https://mobile.twitter.com/mecampbellsoup/status/872549286008979460

What dou you think?

A comparison that i'm going to make is gold with bitcoin.

Gold is obviously extremely hard to store with all the storage fees and insurance fees, extremely hard to move around as taxes and cutsoms are probably going to eat into your total net worth if you were to relocate your gold(not even taking into account any sort of shipping and handling charges here), and it is not divisible so it'll be impractical for anyone to buy a loaf of bread with gold pieces. But it's still very popular and seen as a store of value.

Now, bitcoin is much more divisible, much more convenient and the costs are significantly lower. So what i don't understand is that why do people think that gold can succeed while bitcoin cannot? Altcoins won't overtake bitcoin in the long run, just like copper can't overtake gold. People TRUSt bitcoin, and when there is trust, there is store of value.

In all honesty, I don't believe this was BTCBTCBTC's primary goal when it was first conceived. It wasn't even considered a good store of value given its history of crashes spikes in price back then. It was created to move value, at the least.
905  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is on August 1, 2017? on: June 22, 2017, 01:00:15 PM
If we can answer questions like these we would have been really rich way back then.  Smiley
906  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: June 22, 2017, 12:38:17 PM
A lot has happened in the NBA a few days before the draft and this is turning out to be more exciting and unpredictable than the recently concluded post season. Some big names have already changed addresses (Dwight Howard, Deangelo Russell, Brook Lopez) while the Celtics and Sixers traded draft picks. It's going to be more exciting as the hours leading to the draft winds down as more trades and transactions are about to unfold.
I expect this to happen because I do not just want to see the same team that will compete against each other.
New season to come should be more exciting and I want low rank team to rise, especially the sixers which are not doing well
for many years already.
sixers is just lack of leadership i guess if they just have someone like iverson's before a man that can carry the whole rhythm of his team,
i think it will take some time or more time to see the name of sixers includes into the play off team better to have a big budget to create
one. but let see how they will create their own super team.
They are a young team but they have a chance, they have a lot of talented players and they need time for development.
Boston Celtics was once a shitty team but now they can compete in the east, they made a great achievement this year.

The major players from Boston weren't home grown though. They got huge from trades.
907  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: June 20, 2017, 02:13:23 AM
I heard a rumor that Cavs want Paul George in their team. If that thing happen, there's a big possibility that Cavs and Warriors will dominate both East and West for how many years. There's no chance for other team to go in the Finals.

Remember the Lakers-Boston era back then? Seems like history repeats itself.
908  Economy / Speculation / Re: Slow gains and stability on: June 20, 2017, 01:25:36 AM
Actually from what I've observed, there are a lot of people marketing btc as a form of booming investment like it's some sort of a HYIP. If this is what makes up most of the demand, we're doomed for a crash.
909  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin price decreasing on: June 19, 2017, 02:34:51 PM

bitcoin price is decreasing.can anyone predict how much it will decrease?

thanks

I hope it go down to $10 per coin so I can buy more of it. It will be a start of another millionaire story.

If it goes that low it only means BTCBTCBTC is dead.
910  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: June 19, 2017, 02:32:20 PM
Lebron not leaving cleveland he left once he not leaving again, he will def try to get more help for next year, plus he is in the eastern conference he has a cake walk to the finals every year, why would he put himself in the west makes no sense.

Exactly, he'll fancy his chances in the eastern conference wilhich guarantees him a final spot than risk not making the finals at all if he leaves for the more competitive western conference. I think he's not leaving unless for some strange reasons. I believe he will rather stay and have his team strengthened
I don't think that is a good move for a man trying to be the Greatest of All Time. By leaving Cleveland for another team he will only prove haters are right that he is no better than Michael Jordan or even Kobe Bryant. So what I am seeing is he will just lure players to the team. And from what I am hearing James Harden and Paul George are in Cleveland's radar which means this offseason will be big if they are successful.

Harden? Unlikely. He left OKC to play be a franchise player. Besides, he's got good company in HOU, PG on the other hand, he really need to leave.
911  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Where i can buy traffic for my website for bitcoin? on: June 18, 2017, 08:15:13 AM
I tried to write something like "usa traffic for website bitcoin" in google but sites i that get is really bad.
Give me some advice please

may I know your website ?
If you want worldwide  bitcoin traffic, so many faucet sites and bitcoin PTC outhere, but if you need USA traffic only, I thought only this forum has many users from USA.

I can't tell my site.
I don't need "bitcoin traffic", i need traffic for bitcoin.

It would have been more helpful if you can tell what your website is about. Is it a blog? I guess you do not need bitcoin targeted traffic, but want to buy website traffic for bitcoin. And it should be from US. I am assuming that it is a blog and if you need adsense friendly traffic you can use fiverr or seoclerks, but the problem is fiverr stopped accpeting bitcoin, but you can use bitcoins on seoclerks, https://www.seoclerk.com/Traffic/11673/5-000-REAL-Human-TARGETED-Traffic-From-USA-Or-Other-Country

Hitleap or other bot traffic are worthless. If you do not want paid traffic use manual traffic exchange. Also search something like this, "targeted website traffic for bitcoin"

Well cheap traffic from Fiverr or SEOClerks are worthless as well. What's the traffic for anyway? If you need it for increasing Alexa rank, cheap bot traffic can be good enough. If it's for ads, just don't, you'd be banned from your network in due time.
912  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 1. HOW TO MAKE MONEY IN CRYPTO WITH MINERJOE - HASHFLARE on: June 18, 2017, 08:09:49 AM
It seems LTC mining difficulty s not jumping rapidly that much. I wonder if it would be possible to make some money with 70% constant reinvesting. Has anyone tried this?

Well you can't really expect the difficulty to be still that stable in the weeks to come. There's a still lot going on the altcoin space. Anyway, I've been interested in HashFlare for a while now and still couldn't find a suitable case study on ROIs and stuff. Why not start one?  Smiley

913  Economy / Speculation / Re: Global Crypto Bear Market on: June 18, 2017, 06:33:35 AM
Bear market is entirely likely for the coming months/years, but right now it doesn't seem like it's going to happen.

Reason being that if there was to be a dump, it would have happened a long time ago. Sure, there was a $400 or so price decrease, the price went down to sub-$2400 level, and everyone freaked out, but as soon as bitcoin hit $2400 and under, everyone started to buy in and price got bumped up again.

So at least for this month and the upcoming month, bitcoin isn't going to go any lower than $2300 in my opinion.

Of course, next year would be a completely different story. Bitcoin could crash down to $1,000, ICOs could get banned etc... But that's too far to make predictions about, we haven't even gotten to the UASF yet.

What I'm worried about is the way BTCBTCBTC is presented to the common folk. It's treated as if it's an investment vehicle like those dotcom boom during the late 90's.
914  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin price decreasing on: June 18, 2017, 06:18:23 AM
How can you say it's decreasing when we're an all time high?

We should be grateful it didn't crash sub $300 again.
915  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: June 18, 2017, 03:06:56 AM
My perception is that LBJ will leave Cleveland because it is difficult to improve this team, especially because Clevaland can do a few moves of trasfermarket.
Cleveland was thinking of an exchange between Kevin Love and Paul George, but Paul George said he wanted to stay in Indiana and be able to beat Cleveland next season.
I doubt it that Lebron James will leave Cleveland. What I can see is that there are some good players that will join him in Cleveland. I think Davis is or it's just a speculation as I read some articles about players or it's just a hearsay and rumors out there including Wade is now planning to join Lebron again with Cleveland.

Wade is no longer a key player, so I doubt if he would make such a huge impact. Davis on the other hand would be the perfect addition to replace Bogut and get them huge presence in the post.
916  Economy / Speculation / Re: drop of the value... any reasons? on: June 17, 2017, 01:51:25 PM
Corrections. What goes up must eventually come down.

We've been here before and all it's ups and downs. Let's just hope it levels down to a stable floor.
917  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will BTC be at $5,000? on: June 13, 2017, 02:07:37 AM
This price is possible to achieve at the end of the year and not before that as we were close to $3k but didnt touch that price so once it crosses $3k mark then it won't take too long to achieve the price of $5k.

$5k by the end of the year is not that feasible for that huge rise, probably we'd see that by the next halving season.
918  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Genesis-Mining Review on: June 11, 2017, 11:09:13 PM
I will try it too with a small plan just to test. I will return with an analysis in a few weeks.

If someone like to experiment too, here is my Promo code for a 3% discount.
HecUJ6

3% discount is very, very small. I haven't tried Genesis mining, but from my experience investing in cloudmining like Hashnest, it's possible to RoI provided you can sell your Ghs on a secondary market, of course for a higher price.
919  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: June 11, 2017, 08:56:10 PM
Yes the Cavs played one of their best games of the season (with a HT playoff record to boot). At the same time the Warriors played quite bad (only Durant was somehow ready for the game). The still score almost 120 points on an away game so that tells me that things will be finished on game 5 sadly for me since I'm a Cavs fan since the 90s!

Now, if for some reason the Warriors feel the pressure and lose this next game, then the series will get seriously epic all of a sudden. I'm sure the Warriors will be champs this year but if the head back to Cleveland again they could be in serious trouble. I think I've said the exact same phrase one year ago. Cool

Most of the Clevaland Cavaliers fan are believing but not expecting. It's hard to expect in the first place even prior at the start of NBA finals and much less when they are being downed at 0-3.

Game 5 will be the toughest of it all and at least much better impact than on Game 7 if ever. Golden State Warriors really needs to give all of their power to win because as soon as Cavaliers will able to break this incoming game, I feel Warriors is now on trouble and will be more pressured especially Kevin Durant which is expecting his first ring that's why he transfer. Durant and the whole Warriors will be on hot seat if they will lost this series because of obvious reason that they are super team and yet they are being wrecked up.

Can't wait to watch the Game 5. Hopefully this time, the match is closed for about only with closed lead. All of their recent games are being held with large margin.

Game 4 was a close one, if not for KD's clutch it would have been 2-2. Anyway, let's just hope the series isn't finished yet. I'd like to see more from Kyrie and Steph.
920  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin goes to the moon on: June 11, 2017, 08:52:07 PM
Profit from bitcoin can be obtained almost every day. The price rises and falls by a few tens or hundreds of dollars. But if you look at the long-term perspective, then bitcoin can multiply your capital in a few years
If people are starting to brag how easy something is to make profit with, then it is usually a bubble.
We don't want this to happen with bitcoin - I would rather wait years and achieve real stable moon price that have temporary spike caused by speculators.

We've seen cycles rise and falls and we know it's gonna continue over and over, so price spikes like what we have now are very much welcome.
