421  Economy / Speculation / Re: Growth may be just around the corner? on: April 18, 2018, 02:10:32 PM
You gotta be careful with those feelings, because those are the ones that will cause you to make those unnecessary trades.

For instance, what's happening to the market right now might be a bull trap. Those feelings will lead you right into it.
422  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: In this down market how your doing? on: April 18, 2018, 02:07:12 PM
I am actually taking this moment as the golden opportunity as I am continuously busy in buying of more number of coins due to decrease in the market value of most of the coins. I think you should be patient and hold them. It will not cost you money because after a short time the cost of altcoins will increase again. That happens often and we call them cycles of volatility

Currently I'm just focusing on my business and taking my mind off my crypto holdings, letting the market run itself up. I do check my portfolio every now and then but no big decisions and movements.
423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Havven ICO raised more than Power Ledger - $30 million?! on: April 18, 2018, 02:02:14 PM
The thing with these high volume ICOs is that because the funds are so big, the expectations also are so big for them to deliver, and on time. They've got little margin of error because the market will drop significantly on even the slightest of their mistake.
424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is future of Bitcoin after RBI decision in India against BTC on: April 18, 2018, 01:29:37 PM
If it was verified then enthusiasts and industry players from there should simply relocate until the environment becomes friendly again.  Smiley

Even Binance went to Malta for better regulations.
425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: IOS Token (IOST) Ready to boom the market on: April 18, 2018, 01:19:47 PM
Great coin already listed in top volume exchanges like binance , kucoin, okex I would recommend poly and also hitbtc , cryptopia and other exchanges are good still lots of coins and projects struggling to list on these small exchanges . By listing in most exchanges volume will increase . I think coss.io is also good exchange it’s also having same business model like kucoin . you can consider exchanges like coss.io in future point of view .

To think that IOST didn't do the usual ICO, but instead was sold off to private investors and incubators suggests that this project has a really bright future. They aren't interested in making the most money they could've.
426  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Market Will Going Up ? on: April 18, 2018, 12:54:23 PM
Dear all member
We are seeing the rise of the cryptocurrency market, the decline is over??  Tongue Tongue Tongue Tongue
yes I see that the price of Bitcoin is now have starting to recover and all Altcoin prices have also started to grow to green.
It seems of this nightmare is about to soon end because we have seen all this time the price of Bitcoin and other coins getting worse, now is the right time to invest in Bitcoin.

Might be a trap though, IMO it's too early to come up with any worthy conclusions. I suggest to observe a little while before doing any significant moves.
427  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will you stay in crypto if BTC does not recover? on: April 17, 2018, 01:23:21 PM
That's what actually i am doing because i've been hodling for a couple of months now. I believe that bitcoin will always comeback as i see it on the history of bitcoin backed by experts' speculation that bitcoin has not yet reached its peak.
Bitcoin is always bound to recover from dumps with greater force and there are many reasons which make this to happen for sure. In short, those who hold bitcoin and never give up on it even when the crazy new investors are dumping the legendary coin just because it is having some string dump, these are the ones who really enjoy big money by the end of every year when bitcoin crosses even 20,000 dollars.

It's simply a cycle of market ups and downs, and like with any other market the only thing you should know to profit is timing. Once you know when to get in and get out you're already pretty well equipped.
428  Economy / Speculation / Re: whether it's time to turn green again on: April 17, 2018, 03:43:06 AM
I'm actually thinking that what we're having at the market right now is a bull trap, and that we're engaged into a longer bear run in the coming months.

If you'd look at the trend for the last.few months, it looks going that way.
429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holding is bullshit? on: April 11, 2018, 12:58:02 PM
I think holding a coin is not a bad thing, an easy way to earn big profits, because you will hold the coins for the next few years, you will get a lot of profit by waiting for the price to peak. because bitcoin prices always increase further than the previous year and you are very fortunate to survive in the long run.

Only if you hold tokens considered as gold at the time. From experience, holding by itself, even the most promising coins is not as profitable. You should also learn when to get out. It's not bullish everyday, and even established tokens can get a whopping -60% in value over just days.
430  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin price reaches $20.000 this year? on: April 11, 2018, 12:47:35 PM
As it was said many times, bitcoin price is unpredictable. We can only guess, and my guess is "no". Bitcoin may rise to $20k in 2019, but we would be lucky to return to $10k in 2018.

I agree to this. We will be lucky if we reach 10k again soon (other then in a bull trap). We seem to be in a downtrend and it's not over yet. We haven't seen the consolidation yet. After we have 3-4 months of stability at a certain level (be it 6k, 5k or even 2k) then we can talk of breakouts (in any direction). Everything else are just bull traps. The direction WILL NOT change before the following are true: a consolidation was reached to determine "true" value AND some positive news change the trend.

Also my hunch is there will be plenty of bad news ahead, more regulation and technological failures. With 2017's adoption come noobs and security problems. A new mgox may be close. Also don't forget what happened in december when fees made BTC unsualble for any real payments and the transaction backlog had half a million unconfirmed transactions in it. The scalability problem hasn't been solved and we are orders of magnitudes away from the speeds/costs of Visa.

I'm really sorry for all the people that bought at ATH, your money is most likely lost (unless you are willing to wait it out for several years). I've warned people of this in december and like everybody else that was not super hyped we were called FUDers and crazy people.

While your analysis has some good points I'd like to point out to the fact that the next halving is like just 2 years away, so we could expect 2019 to be a recovery year, with emphasis on people stocking up for the expected bull market come the next halving season. That is, if there's no big news in the coming months that would severely depreciate the market.
431  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: your mentality after a huge loss? on: April 11, 2018, 12:26:25 PM
My mentality after loss is to disect and x-ray  my moves  thought behind my trade and the emotion that lead to my decision and actions. I thoroughly review my thought process and try to see where I got it wrong.

That's very analytical of you but as they say, in this space hindsight is 100% clear but foresight is blind. Even if you're fully aware of the consequences of your action it's really hard to battle out with the thought that you might get the next x10 on your next trade.
432  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to choose the right exchange? on: April 11, 2018, 12:23:02 PM
As for me, I'm bias for exchanges which I have a stake on, for example, I own KuCoinShares and COSS, so the 2 exchange that I use the most are KuCoin and COSS.  Smiley

These tokens offer profit sharing from fees, so you do get dividends every now and then. It's awesome.
433  Economy / Speculation / Re: Cryptocoins are in a recovering mode on: April 11, 2018, 11:59:59 AM
Waking up this morning with green numbers on the charts: Cryptocoin prices today. Will this mean that everybody believes in Crypto coins again? Let's hope that the prices rises to the moon.

That the price is lowering don't mean that people are having disbelief in cryptocurrency (though some people are losing hope already); around the world, many people still believe in Cryptos yet the price is dipping. Anything could have caused the price dump. So we shouldn't blame it on people losing faith in it.  Everyday, can't be a day of rosy, some days could be thrones also. Just try making the best out of your situation.

And bitcoin is pretty much becoming steady at 6.8-7k and we all kow that alts benefit if btc is moving sideways. Though i don't think that alts will moon this way. Probably not until the end of the year again.

My estimate of the next significant bull run would at least be next year. The anticipation for the coming bitcoin halving would be the main market driver of that bull run, that I'm pretty sure of.
434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $500 million Coincheck hack: Full story + Unique pictures of darknet on: April 11, 2018, 10:04:45 AM
That picture of Kim with piles of cash is very disturbing.

Anyway, there's not much the governments can do with the hack now, as it seems the money has already been liquidated. This should serve a lesson for other exchanges too because the repercussions of these hacking incidents aren't limited to crypto, for all we know it could've been used to fund WMDs.
435  Economy / Speculation / Re: Cryptocoins are in a recovering mode on: April 11, 2018, 09:50:03 AM
I think that the lack of news is not the reason that the market is in relative calm. It seems to me that the reason is that the price of bitcoin has reached its minimum. Further attempts of whales to reduce prices end with the decline in trading volumes. Whales will buy coins at these prices. This level will rise.

I do agree with that. People have been speculating about $3000-$4000 levels, but the market found a steady spot above the $6000 level. If we also take into consideration the manipulation going on, which is that semi large dumps take the price back to sub $7000 levels, and let it stay there without dumping further, it clearly shows large scale accumulation, the patterns are clear.

Without these semi large dumps, the market isn't going down out of its own, which is a great sign. Global whale manipulation keeping the price down will end once they think they stocked up enough coins, and we might not be all that far away from that point. Whales know like no one how important it is to maintain the $6000 bottom, and thus keep the long term growing bottom cycle intact.

If people aren't accumulating themselves yet, then definitely do so. Everyone not having bought will 100% regret it later on. I don't see a massive breakout, but a steady increase will do.

I honestly believe this price manipulation is still far off from lying low, there's still so much at stake for these guys, so they'll be draining everyone else into frustration up till the most of us decides to sell off, before pumping it all out to the moon again. I believe its not just the profits they're after here.
436  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coin holding strategy on: April 11, 2018, 07:17:06 AM
Holding for long term isn't necessarily high risk, so long as you know what you're doing and the essential fundamentals are there, with regards to the token, it's actually the safest. This has been noted true by many fund managers, not just in the stock markets.
437  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum TO $400 AGAIN on: April 10, 2018, 02:22:29 PM
Why would it drop to 400 without a single reason? Vitalik works hard to develop ethereum and there are many things suggested be implemented in near future. It sounds like fud to me as ethereum is even cheaper than what it should be with that much successful icos on its chain.
Personally, I believe in this project and now I see only a very good opportunity to buy ethereum at a very low price. Indeed, this project has a lot of serious improvements planned, which will inevitably increase the price of the coin. If you buy now, then in the near future you can get a very good profit.

Actually, it might even dip down a little bit in the coming weeks as more countries unveil their regulation plans with regards to crypto and ICOs. By then, everyone serious in investing here should've stocked up.
438  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to invest effectively? on: April 10, 2018, 01:38:53 PM
What about 50/25/25 rule to max profits and min risk?

For those who don't know this rule, it means you allocate 50% your investment capital in BTC, 25% in big cap currencies (above 5 million cap) and 25% in low cap currencies.

Is any of you using this rule? How is it working in bare market?

I suppose you can do this if you don't wanna risk it. It seems appropriate for fund managers but not for the usual investor here. Just like the others, I usually go to support only the tokens I've handpicked, even if it has a low market cap. I use the law of averages technique to bring down my investment per token and when it booms, I cash out. It's been working for quite awhile now.
439  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Am i late to buy bitcoin now ?? on: April 10, 2018, 01:22:36 PM
There is no lateness in buying bitcoin.you can start buying it now.

Actually the ship has sailed ages ago. If you still believe it's worth more than ~7k USD, then it's worth the buy.

IMO I'd rather buy alts or ETH now instead of BTCBTCBTC, the potential here is much higher.
440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Good time to buy ETH now? on: April 10, 2018, 07:21:13 AM
Yes I think so. I guess this is the best time to buy Ethereum while its price on the market is still. Many says that this will be the year for the Ethereum and I believe them.

I also don't think it'll plunge even deeper, anyway if you can buy at dips that would be much better. ETH's gonna be bullish in the long run given all the developments that are running now. Once proper regulation is in place more and more industries would be diving into the blockchain tech.
