261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: AIR DROPS ! wasting time or not? on: May 18, 2020, 06:50:03 PM
Too many fake or fraudulent airdrops at this time. Even legit projects use this campaign for their benefit. Pay later or deduct from the initial agreement. Research first when joining the airdrop.
Most of the airdropped projects don't even reach Exchanges and end up being trash tokens in your wallet. So I guess researching before participating in an airdrop is best way to make money, search for the team members whether they are real and hard-working, their involvement in previous projects etc. Mostly research about the members of the dev team provides useful information about the project, whether it will be a success or be a flop.
262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New exchange tokens worth investing on??? on: May 18, 2020, 05:29:10 PM
All tokens of major exchanges in this market are worth investing. Binance, Okex, huobi, Kucoin ... never miss the opportunity when the prices of these tokens go down. Fill your bag when possible
It seems that coin exchange has become a buying trend for investors, seeing that the price of BNB, Huobi Token and KCS has experienced a good increase, making this coin a great demand in the market, it is good, time to buy  Grin
These coins have already seen pumps and I believe that they are already pumped and not worth investing on, you can check WRX it was listed a couple of weeks back on binance and is the coin of one of the largest Exchanges of India. So it is worth investing for if you ask me, the Price also didn't pump after getting listed on binance which is the usual trend now a days that every coun that gets listed on binance immediately takes a bull run and after a couple of weeks the trading volume decreases.
So if you ask me WRX is worth checking out.
263  Economy / Speculation / Re: The excitement is over, what's next? on: May 17, 2020, 07:37:10 PM
Here we go the much anticipated price of BTC Halving is over, there were lot of speculations on this but the majority failed, however I guess it still remain stable Even in this tough situation.

So what's next? Will the price go down or it will remain stable or it will pump? In my opinion the price may go down as this COVID-19 has affected very very badly which may cause investors to sell their assets.. kindly share your opinion guys.
I guess price will stay on this range for quiet long time till the economy catches up to the losses and again starts to grow. Till then I believe the price will stay in this range plus minus $500.
Also most of the people who had to sell their bitcoins  have already sold them and now as the lockdown is slowly lifting off with some restrictions the people will start accumulating again in a few months or so.
264  Economy / Speculation / Re: Personally i think bitcoin is future on: May 17, 2020, 07:06:00 PM
Bitcoin future price of $1 million comes true in 2020, that would give it a total market capitalization of $15 trillion. Going back to McAfee's prediction, Bitcoin would need to increase its value by more than 4,900% from its all-time high of $20,000.

Check the link follow the instruction: https://www.coindesk.com/market-wrap-some-miners-face-an-uncertain-future-despite-rising-bitcoin-price

Bitcoin will reach a price of $50,000 by late 2020. He also believes that the market cap of all cryptocurrencies will burst up to a whopping $2 trillion (from the current $150 billion) within the next 10 years.

Billionaire Michael Novogratz has invested approximately 30 percent of his fortune in cryptocurrencies. He began investing in 2015 and announced a $500 million cryptofund, which includes $150 million of his own fortune, in 2017. So i think it will be going for everyone future.

Bitcoin price to $50k according to me is the speculation at its best. Almost half of the 2020 have passed and still the economies of every country is hurt very badly and I don't think people have enough money to spend on purchasing bitcoin as there are more homeless people than ever also countless of people have lost their job in this crisis.
I believe that bitcoin can reach this price point, but not in the recent future, but in 20 or 30 years from now.
265  Economy / Economics / Re: Corona has killed economy of many businesses on: May 12, 2020, 12:51:58 PM
We never thought this corona will be so viral and disastrous and even I have mentioned in my previous posts downplaying the seriousness of Corona but now it has collapsed economy of many businesses except pharmacy business which have seen a spike as most of the stocks are out of stock but the restaurant and other daily operational business like tours and travel agency, malls, other event-based business, and meat shops are closed and going through massive loss.

How long will it last? What's the antidote for Corona?
Yes basically most of the non essential services have taken a major hit in these Corona crisis and many of the businesses have taken a fatal blow to the backbone.

But the worst thing I have seen is that the governments around the world are opening up lockdowns even though the pandemic is still on the rise and this will lead to an increase in number of cases and this can cause a lot of trouble for those countries in long run as they would have to implement the lockdown again till the pandemic stops spreading.
266  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some People Cannot Stop The Urge To Sports Betting And Gamble Even In Pandemic on: May 12, 2020, 12:15:02 PM
some people need to have other ways to relax that is why they play, some are really addicted to it, maybe they don't care anymore or its just that if they can't gamble, they will not fulfill their needs to play, it is up to the family to help a person specially that they are at home, family members should think of a way to , make their attention to other things not gambling.
there are other type of gambler and those are the one that can enjoy and risk some amount trying to win but at least contented in the outcome of what they are doing, accepting the losses and looking for winning at some point.

all will start as newbie and eventually becomes regular player and the sad part is some becomes addicted.
Actually not some gamblers become addicted to gambling, but majority of gamblers become addicted to gambling. If a person looses a lot in gambling then he gets obsessed to win back what they lost and in this process they don't think what's right and what's wrong.

So what I advise is that you should always gamble for fun with the spare money that you have in order to keep yourself safe from addiction.
267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top exchange listed bounties is getting sucks on: May 11, 2020, 07:54:50 PM
Is it just me thinking this way or there are other people on here thinking same way? Listed bounty campaigns are getting annoying this year, blockburn postponed payout to bounty hunters, Cartesi split payout into three phases and distribution starts after 30 days of listing.

Too exchange like binance for that matter, bounty allocation was damn low to begin with, I start promoting listed bounties this year because of 2019 tachyon protocol success that lay as a lesson to me but things aren't going as I thought. Harmony one did bounty year ago and I heard they distribute in batches too, price already go down before bounty hunters get their payouts, how is this any fair ?

Please drop your thoughts
People aways think that we the bounty hunters are the ones due to which the Price of an ICO token goes down after getting listed on the exchange. But this isn't true as we value the time that we spent while grinding these Campaigns and we wouldn't sell our tokens for pennies on a dollar.
This is the reason why I think that the bounty hunters are the people who are paid at last after the end of ICO.
268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why we trust binance exchange? on: May 09, 2020, 07:34:54 PM
Why binance called world largest BTC exchange?
1: the highest security is available in binance compared to the other crypto exchange?
2: Generate high volume in the altcoin?
3: best ieo launcher? Compared to the other exchange?

What is your opinion? Drop your experiences & Opinion?
I just use binance because of their higher volume as compared to other Exchanges that have the same altcoin listed. Also their user interface is pretty easy to understand and pretty neat as compared to other exchanges.
Also their launchpad is pretty decent where usually every ieo performs good.
Also talking about security I would say that don't save your coins on an exchange as any exchange can get hacked any time, so it's better to save only that amount of coins on exchange that you like to trade or sell and rest you should keep in a wallet whose private keys you own.
269  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: LIGHTNING NETWORK - what is happening, dead, stagnant? on: May 09, 2020, 05:01:05 PM
I looked at statistics, the usage went up around last half 2019 then tapered off. looks like not that terrribly popular although not died.
IT seems stagnated. Are there benefits starting to weigh in?
I wonder if major wallets are supporting or starting to support LN?
Lightning network have many drawbacks and is currently on beta stage and also only a tech savvy can understand it and use it without any difficulties or without making any mistake. But for the majority of people it is still gonna take some time to be of anything to use at all. Rest assured when it is completely operational the bitcoins acceptance and market dominance will again start to rise as it was in the early days before ethereum and other Crypto got popular.
270  Economy / Economics / Re: Anybody here trying to live bankless (using Bitcoin / cryptocurrencies)? on: May 09, 2020, 03:51:02 PM
Being 'bankless' can be quite difficult. I've not encountered issues receiving wages from clients for the past few years via Cryptocurrency so effectively not needing a bank to store funds however, as some have pointed out here, you'll end up requiring a bank if you want to purchase property etc.
Not even property, most of the times when you are asking for a loan or for financing anything you will definitely need to have a bank account otherwise you can't get a loan. And also for cashing out my Crypto holdings I need a bank as I do cashout using an exchange and not p2p or in person trades as I feel safe and anonymous while using these methods rather than dealing in person physically. So other than these reasons I don't think I will need banks at all.
271  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think that the price of bitcoin can come down to below? on: May 09, 2020, 03:28:16 PM
Do you think that the price of bitcoin can come down to below three and a half thousand dollars? Because the current situation in the world is that the market is not stable because of this epidemic Many experts who have been observing this market for a long time think that the price of Bitcoin will go down again. Now people are very much scared of this epidemic. No one in the world will be stable in this market until this epidemic is gone. All other businesses that have other online markets are in the same situation so groom Tamana is not the time to go on the market
The bitcoin price did already took a massive hit when the Price fell the first time when lockdown was announced amongst the biggest and powerful nations of the world and then it slowly recovered. So now if anything bad doesn't happen then I believe that the bitcoins price isn't going to crawl back to $3500 as you are asking and if the Corona pandemic continues to spread then it will be bad for us and also for the economy of the major countries of the world.
272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How bitcoins is helping during the lockdown on: May 08, 2020, 02:19:15 PM
Since the Supreme Court of India revoke the Reserve Bank of India ban on Crypto gave the thing a nudge and then COVID-19 lockdown occurs 20 days after the decision. With these official decisions couple, things happen in Indian crypto users that people are getting into Bitcoin because they find a good source of income during a pandemic.

We have seen that huge spike in trading volume and new users registration on multiple exchanges in India during this situation.

The WazirX officials claimed that the Signups have increased by 25 percent during the lockdown. Within the 30 days during the lockdown, daily trading volume on WazirX has increased by 60%, which is equivalent to $13 million. Meanwhile, another cryptocurrency exchange in India CoinDCX has witnessed a 78% increase in trading volumes in BTC/INR pairs.
Well that's a good thing that Indian people are accepting Crypto and relying on it in these hard times and I believe that every country whose people are fed up with their government and their banks can rely on Crypto for securing their future as Crypto is having least resistance and also many more countries are making the use of bitcoins and other Crypto legal. Crypto can provide you anonymity and other benefits which your traditional payment methods can't give you in online world.
273  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin popped $10 000 on: May 08, 2020, 01:05:08 PM
Bitcoin is officialy back to $10 000 again. Right before the halving it seems. Last time Bitcoin was over $10k was back in February this year as recorded by Coinmarketcap.

But $10k BTC was short lived.

The Coronavirus pandemic sure played it's part in bringing the price back down.

Bitcoin seems to be very resilient and it did not took much time for it to bounce back to $10k.
3 months later, it's back where it was.

Also, check this crazy Sell order on Binance at $10 000 mark of 883 BTC, which translates to nearly $9M. While it did hit $10 000, it did not break it, yet.

Next up is halving which everybody is excited about.
What are your expectations?

Everyone is saying that the Price is going to increase after bitcoins halving and also they are betting on more than double or triple the current price but that is highly not going to happen. You can check previous historic price movements after block reward halving. The Price increments weren't sudden after block reward halving. They were gradual process taking time and even the Price fell shortly after the reward halving.

276  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will China Accept Bitcoin As A Currency? on: November 07, 2019, 10:48:51 AM
I think the Chinese government will only accept bitcoin as a commodity. because they already have plans to make their own crypto coins. and I heard that this crypto coin made in China is called DCEP. I'm sure China will support DCEP more than bitcoin. they don't like bitcoin because it is anonymous and decentralized. that's why they make their own coins so they can still control it.
I had also the same thought, and I think that is why president Xi endorsed the utilization of Blockchain technology. This could be the first phase of the creation of their own cryptocurrency, I had no idea what name of the coin would be so it is good that you shared this one. Decentralization and anonymity of Bitcoin are some of the reason why big countries wanted to create their own cryptocurrency for them to manipulate and regulate this technology.
China isn't going to accept bitcoin as a currency as it opposes what China is trying to impose i.e. Centralization and censorship. China controls everything that its citizens do and see online. If China was going to accept bitcoin then it shouldn't have banned it in the first place, which done already they aren't gonna revert back the decision.
277  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A world of opportunities for freelancers on: November 07, 2019, 09:52:19 AM
bitcoin is being used in so many places throughout the world but it can be so much more. It's obvious that there are so many freelancers in every country. Firms, companies, startups etc.. have a limitation that they can hire freelancers only from their country since they can pay them only in their native currency to avoid hassle of exchange. But if firms, companies, startups etc.. start using bitcoin as a payment method to hire freelancers then there will be so many opportunities for the freelancers since they can get work from anywhere in the world. I don't know why has  this not become a huge thing until now. This could really change the life of freelancers and give a better end result/product to the company they are working for.
The only problem here is that people think that crypto or lets say bitcoin is too much volatile and it's very risky for them as those freelancers tend to earn their bread and butter online from the freelancing websites and when the amount that they are earning is varying depending upon the market then they will face problems financially and also in supporting their families.
But for a person who is just doing freelancing as a side gig, getting paid in bitcoin can be a great source of investment.
278  Economy / Speculation / Re: 6 Months of Missed Opportunities in Bitcoin!!! on: November 07, 2019, 09:32:33 AM

I make crypto fundamental analysis to identify the speculation in crypto. This is the past 6 months of data with the long and short opportunities. The speculation is easy to see in crypto when you know the creation cost.

I offer subscriptions to my analysis here:

I want more people to use my analysis and understand crypto better and better!

Use the code TALK to get 20% off any sub.

Aaron

Let me know if you have any questions!

Edit: see my complete analysis here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5198724.new#new

The analysis seems too good. There were many missed opportunities missed in the past but still there is time for general public to invest in Bitcoin as the time of block reward halving is pretty near and when it comes then definitely there will be a price surge as expected by most people here.
279  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC 20,000 USD by the year end. on: November 07, 2019, 08:22:13 AM
Have you read the news that Bitcoin might be able to reach 20,000 USD before the year ends? Maybe we can't achieve the 16K this month but we are still having a good year.
You must see the new and read the full stories. https://bitcoinist.com/3-reasons-bitcoin-price-may-hit-20000-by-year-end/

bitcoin dominance as of now:
Quote
October 28, 2019, 02:22:35 PM
67.8%
Bitcoin dominance is growing which is good news as it shows that people are choosing bitcoin over other crypto, and last time when bitcoin was being more dominant the price increased, and when the dominance fall then the price also tend to fall. So far so good, we should see what the coming time holds for bitcoin.
280  Economy / Economics / Re: Your Source of Investment Money? on: November 07, 2019, 07:40:09 AM

I have not been really into investing though I have some stocks with a premiere banking firm here in my country, which i just left in my broker's site idle for some years now. What made me excited into investing is cryptocurrency but unfortunately it was not bitcoin but a scamming project called TheBillionCoin which by name itself really sounded so dubious. Okay, I was still innocent and naive at the time. Soon, I meet bitcoin and it was not yet that pricey at the time but because I was not convinced that it can go sky-high I just bought some.

The main source of the money I invested with bitcoin comes from doing online job with a platform where we are allowed to post in many forums in exchange for some points and the those points can be converted to real money anytime.

What are the sources of the money you invested with bitcoin or cryptocurrency? Anybody here used credit cards?
The main source for my investments come from my private practice and also by the membership sites that I own or am affiliate with. You should always have more than one sources of income as if one source Hits recession then there will be others to make even the money earned and money lost.
