Magi multipool is not a pool itself. It's a front-end that collects BTC generated by mining in popular pools and using this BTC to buy XMG on the exchanges. What pool are you mining at (waffle, nicehash or yaamp)? I'll have a look if there's a problem. |

No card. Scrypt is dominated by ASICs, you won't get any reasonable results with a GPU. Try GPU friendly algos and coins (X11, X13, X15, Neoscrypt). but flappycoin is scrypt?? Im confused?? Flappycoin is a scrypt coin with low difficulty and network hashrate. So yes, with such coins you'll get your share. But with a price of 40-50 litoshi per FLAP, it's not really worth the used energy (unless you have free energy). The other algos are more energy efficient than scrypt. |

The moment people see a batchfile or cmd window they will lose interest, most of them at least. Only people with a fable for this stuff will really care about it. So how about changing that contest to something better. Why not making it a programming contest. A open source gui for mining magi, where you only need to input stuff an press run or the less you have to input the better. Prefering a gui where you only have to selekt stuff, like what pool, how many cores to use and so on. All the other stuff can happen in the background. You would get way more supporters for this coin as there are soooo few coins that have gui miners. After that you can care about marketing and getting it to the tech casual crowd.

Magi is not made to only attract a few high hashrate miners, the opposite is the plan. We rather prefer 10,000 miners with 20 kh/s each than 10 with 20 MH/s. But to achieve this, we need more people than the ones already familiar with mining. And to attract them, it should be as user-friendly as possible. Unfortunately, we lacking the most important thing to realize that now....time! It's on the todo-list and will be improved. We're working on user-friendly tutorials, websites and other stuff. But it takes some time until it's finished. But that doesn't mean we would encourage the community to provide their skills (i.e. programming skills)  If you want to contribute and have programming skills, contact Joe, 111magic or myself via PM. There are some ideas in our minds that wait for realization. Even without a contest, I'm sure some donations will be yours. |

Cex hab ich bisher ohne besonderen Grund gemieden, da mit Bit, Polo und BTer zu frieden aber die neuen Mindestmengen werden mich sicher nicht anlocken
Vor einer Woche hätte ich CEX.IO auch noch empfohlen, aber mit den neuen Mindestmengen sind die Trades meines Bots um 75% eingebrochen. Ich habe zwar ausreichend Funds die Mindestmengen sind für mich kein Problem, aber die kleinen Orders fehlen jetzt im Orderbuch. Zum Handeln brauch es immer 2 ;-) Doge, BTC, LTC und GHS gegen USD funktionieren noch halbwegs, seit dem Anstieg diese Woche auch DRK, die "kleinen" Altcoins und EUR sind auf CEX.IO zum Vergessen. Irgendwie hat man das Gefühl, die tun alles dafür, ihre Kunden zu vergraulen. Erst das lausige, unprofitable Cloud Mining. Nun, da dieses abgeschalten ist, versucht man über Mindestmengen mehr Kohle zu scheffeln. Kleintrader (gibt ja auch Leute, die nur kleine Mengen Coins traden) suchen sich nun auch eine Alternative. |

Ja, das würde mich auch interessieren. Meine Anzahl an Shares ist zwar weniger als erwähnenswert (ich teste immer erstmal im Kleinen), habe aber ausschliesslich bei einem Reseller gekauft. Nein, dass geht weder allgemein, noch im Speziellen, mit den genannten Minern.
Genau. Mit diesem Miner kannst du ausschliesslich Coins mit dem Scrypt Algo minen (wie Litecoin z.B.). Ausnahme der Dualminer, der auch SHA256 (Bitcoin Algo) minen kann, aber dafür deutlich mehr Strom benötigt. Die von dir genannten Algos erfordern eine Grafikkarte. |

Das Ganze ist doch eh wieder nur eine Hinhaltetaktik. In einer Woche schreibt er dann wieder "another attak / hacking. New delay of 1-2 Weeks...." Im Grunde hat er wieder viel geschrieben aber nichts gesagt.
Klaro. Er sagte ja auch, dass nach und nach die Balance der einzelnen Accounts erscheinen sollten. Wäre das am Ende der Bereinigung nicht der Fall, würde ein Fehler vorliegen. Damit verschafft er sich nochmals wochenlang Zeit, weil dann wieder alles von Hand geprüft werden muss, was bei (vermutlich) einem Großteil der Investoren viiiiel Zeit benötigt. Im Grunde waren das größtenteils Aussagen wie die eines Politikers. Schön drumherum geredet und dabei nicht wirklich viel gesagt (ausser dass er noch dauert). Noch immer kein Wort davon, dass er irgendwas bedauert (fehlerhafte Sicherheit, mangelhafte Kommunikation, keine Art von Kompensation,...). Statt dessen lässt er sich von seinen Jüngern dafür feiern, dass er sich herablässt ein paar Fragen zu beantworten. Wichtige Fragen stehen dabei immer noch ohne unbeantwortet aus. Schon krass, wie einfach man Leute um ihr Geld bringen kann, ohne belangt zu werden und dafür noch gefeiert wird. |
