21  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why People Naturally Chase loses in gambling.. on: May 15, 2024, 07:02:49 PM
The goal of getting back the loss seems a natural reaction as you say. If someone takes something from you, you obviously will object and will likely take it back. The problem is that when we get it back we want more thinking we got it back easy so we might as well win easily. Getting even is not enough.
22  Economy / Economics / Re: Marketing Strategies in the Digital Age on: May 15, 2024, 05:39:56 PM
I’ve noticed that using online platforms lets you reach out to people everywhere, unlike before when it was pretty limited. Being able to measure everything online also means you can make your marketing better and more personalized.
This current age things are easy especially with the kind of technology in operating. And social media have made everything easy. You can use social media to promote your product you even need to spend much on promotion and marketing. Technology have opened people’s eyes and made everything very easy. Because one of the things that makes your product known to people is marketing. And if your marketing is good then the result will be known in the demand because people will find your products facilitating and will have high interest to buy your products based on the way it was presented. Because without marketing there is no way you will have good sales every business needs focus on marketing.

Marketing becomes easy for all internet users though and this is why a lot of people are trying their way in becoming an influencer or a youtuber. A job that is rewarding and also enjoyable for anyone. Crypto influencers are already making money out of their crypto company that needs advertising including the casinos that are also here.

Once crypto adoption has widespread though, I think the companies are just going to use the adnetworks. Just targeting easy the demographics.
23  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Good or Bad - Blackrock Buying BTC on: May 15, 2024, 04:28:22 PM
For people who have been holding BTC all this time, the presence of Blackrock buying more BTC will have a positive impact on holders because it will influence a very significant increase in the price of Bitcoin. Therefore, Blackrock buying more BTC will be good news for holders because they can get huge profits from the very significant increase in BTC prices.

There are assumptions they will buy up all the BTC, it's kind of a conspiracy theory really but they have a point in thinking that Blackrock is out to get all BTC and control the crypto industry. It's not far-fetched when you think about what Blackrock has been doing in the past. Blackrock buying BTC is good for the industry but for decentralization, I think it's not.

24  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto as job salary - Yay or Nay? on: May 14, 2024, 05:45:57 PM

Yay!

If there is an option to receive USDT, I think this will be a better option and then you have the chance to choose which crypto to invest for yourself.
I would probably provide a USDT wallet from an exchange if this is what my purpose would be just so I could easily try investing without having to send them to an exchange.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you been profiting from memecoins? on: May 14, 2024, 05:29:00 PM
Currently, the popularity of memecoin is increasing from time to time, where currently memecoin has become a very popular investment choice, especially among beginners, even though memecoin has a very big risk, they don't pay attention to this risk, because they hope to get the profit multiplied was very large even though it was only a hope, however, I personally have made a profit from memecoin, namely from DOGE and SHIB, but now I am not at all interested in memecoin and only focus on altcoin.

I read one person from the GME posts just a few hours ago was that the pump of these memecoins will get the new cryptpo investors confused as to which is a real good project to invest in crypto. if they see only memecoins being the ones that are pumping, I think all the rest should just be going for memecoins. However, the institutions will also be buying up the BTC for themselves.
26  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is going to happen Biden orders remove of Chinese-owned crypto Miner? on: May 14, 2024, 05:11:46 PM
But what the president is doing i don't think, is going to end well with Chinese this is going to affect their business over there and more people. Even if they move out crypto at missile base it'll surely not change anything cause the Chinese crypto are really helping out there. I don't know what's your opinion towards this? Or maybe the Chinese are trespassing?

The mining facility is close to a US Air Force Base that houses intercontinental ballistic missiles. No country will want a political and military enemy to be close to such a sensitive facility. The location of this Chinese crypto-mining firm is a security threat to the US because they can easily collect sensitive information or even carry out an attack. My reservation is that didn't the land authority know that MineOne was a Chinese mining firm before the land was allocated to them. Now they are putting pressure on the crypto firm to relocate within 120 days.

Sounds like a national security issue.

But because they just want to relocate the mining farm, they may still be in the US. The first reason why they came to the US was because there was a crackdown in China during that time. Now that China seems to loosen its belt and even approve the ETFs in Hong Kong, I think the miners will likely be going back to China.
27  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic conflicts because nobody don't want to live with less USA vs brics on: May 13, 2024, 07:59:22 PM
You accept that the United States is the world leader and are afraid of world war, but the BRICS countries and other countries do not like this and will not accept that the United States is the sole leader of the world.

We cannot do anything. The leaders and politicians are the ones who do everything and we are forced to just watch. If the BRICS countries refuse to submit to American policy, what can we do? This is a conflict between the superpowers and could lead to a devastating world war, but what can we do?

Can't they just agree that they can each own their side of the world? West is for West and East is for East. The problem may just be Brazil since they are in the West while they are a member of BRICS.

What you can do is dig your bunker since they are all building their bunkers already. It's just a shame there has to be war when it could be avoided.
28  Economy / Speculation / Re: I believe Bitcoin will surge to new heights after this dip on: May 13, 2024, 07:39:35 PM

We are all hopeful that it will bounce higher after all BTC always does this after halving. It better be higher because I think a lot of people already risk their savings hoping this halving will bring the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for them.  Its the waiting for it to happen that is however going to test the patience of those who are impatient.

29  Economy / Economics / Re: If you want to be wealthy you need action on: May 13, 2024, 07:22:38 PM
Yes, maybe you are right that action and learning from mistakes is the path to success, and that is the nature of most successful people. Because I once read that successful or wealthy people are stupid people who always make mistakes but they are persistent in getting up. That will increase your chances of getting lucky. And to become wealthy also requires luck, because luck is the main factor in becoming successful and wealthy. What happens most often is that those who make money initially get their money from someone else, through inheritance which increases their chances, but this is always a matter of luck. Don't believe the myth of entrepreneurs who are friendly, kind, talented, and thrive on their own efforts.

Those at the top get there not because they are great, but because they often had some luck when starting out, for example being born male, white, and wealthy. Because they had many lucky moments on their way to the top. So the formula for being successful is Hard Work x Unfair Advantage. But hard work remains an important factor in achieving success. Because if there is no hard work, then what is there to increase the chances of success? There are also many people who are lucky but don't make good use of the opportunities they have and end up with nothing. So everything is needed to become wealthy.

Most of the times, building wealth requires a very long time,so much efforts, and lots of self discipline, and there are several rules that guide or govern such choice of decision in the beginning.
You'll start by harnessing your thoughts, intentions, and initializing your actions all together to attract wealth.

At least, for some people who are not born into wealth, they're told to never spend more than what you earn, and that's a financial responsibility that every individual should possess irrespective of your earnings. It is important for every individual to consciously choose the right tools towards attaining and building wealth.

When a person is born wealthy, chances are someone already taught him about money and management. But for someone who comes from a poor beginning, he will have to act when he is young and fail many times until he gets to learn everything there is to succeed. Either from trading or building his business from scratch.

30  Economy / Economics / Re: Money is all wealth? on: May 12, 2024, 04:49:16 PM
Many people fail to understand the phrase “money can’t buy happiness”. I know you think there are so many things that money can buy or probably everything. But there are certain things that irrespective of how much you have, your money can’t help you. Also, not everyone derive joy from wealth. There are people who don’t mind making billions but that isn’t what makes them happy, it can be the weirdest thing makes them happy, there’s too much people on earth for you to assume that money can buy happiness for everyone .

Generally when you are in the city and not in the desert full of sand and you are alone there looking for water as it's the only that can save your life then money is what you need. The city life is different from places where water can do more.

When you and your family are in the city and they are hungry, money is what you need to see them stuffed and be happy. At this very moment, you can say money can buy happiness.
31  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin a possible tool for revolutionising financial inclusion on: May 12, 2024, 04:07:42 PM
Unbanked individuals are an interesting but complex topic. If they are unbanked because they don't meet certain requirements that banks can ask for, then Bitcoin can sometimes be a good option for them, but only if they have financial resources to buy some of it. Also, if they are unbanked, it might be hard for them to understand how digital wallets work, as they're likely to be unfamiliar with any kind of handling money apart from handling cash.
Finally, a fiat bank account can actually be something you can use on a daily basis to pay for all sorts of things everywhere, while Bitcoin isn't accepted in most places people regularly visit. Not to mention that in many countries, Bitcoin is taxed, which can be another challenge for unbanked people.

And if they have the information to learn BTC. Most unbank I think are just the simplest people who work cooking street food and receive payment via cash. These individuals don't read investments but rather want to laugh at the viral pranks they find online.

But today, they gradually learn crypto since the online payment app we normally use these days now offers crypto investments. Though mostly memes, its the start.

32  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Nearly All FTX Creditors Will Get 118% of Their Funds Back in Cash on: May 12, 2024, 03:25:53 PM

Because the price had risen higher already, the more it would be frustrating for them to hear that it's in fiat. They should be profiting by now if it's just the same amount in crypto, this is unfair to those victims. However, they will still be grateful to receive back some of their investment at least rather than nothing just like other exchanges that went offline. All hail SBF!

35  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football/Soccer Winning Strategy on: May 06, 2024, 12:56:09 PM
If you want a safe bet you will find a round-robin game with a higher chance top tier team will be matched against the low-tier team and by this, you can get a safe bet, or else you will seek another bet opportunity to the other games offered in that recent match, most of the time they are offering a match winner, first goal, first card, and etc. with the game you can also grab the chance if you know the team really well by this taking advantage you can easily hit a good run with the single game. For me its easier to predict sports betting if you have a good understanding and analysis with the players and the teams game play.

The strategy is the opposite of what you are saying. But it implies banking on the favorite team will make a bettor win but the suggestion is to parley though. I think the goal is to make the winning amount higher. While you get the chances of winning are higher in a team with 1.10 odds, adding another team with another odds of 1.10 means hitting 1.20 right?

38  Economy / Gambling / Re: What are your expectations for Casino coins in this coming bull run? on: April 11, 2024, 09:03:02 PM

There are more casino tokens besides those listed on OP. I think their prices will also run up just like any other crypto tokens but I wouldn't expect prices to shoot like there is a major use case for these tokens, they are all limited to what casinos may provide for these tokens to have some use.

The narratives are changing every time. In the real world, gaming stocks are more profitable than crypto. I guess crypto market isn't giving these casino tokens its time yet.
39  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Land Based Casinos in the Digital Age on: April 11, 2024, 04:05:47 PM
There is a intriguing atmosphere the brick and mortar casinos provides that can't be felt by the use of online gambling. Its a feeling that is inexplicable which is why there are gamblers that will at any time choose on-land based casinos over on-line.

IMO, online casino is not here to send on-land casinos to extinction but as a way to compliment or more of an alternative in areas or situations where on-land is not accessible. One thing that made online casinos popular and embracing was the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic, so it's only in situations as that we will have on-land casinos lacking patronage.

They are going to slowly decrease though. Over time, traditional casinos will eventually just fewer and fewer and may only exist in major cities where tourist travels a lot. It's going to be the place where people celebrate their stag parties and business success and then attendees are just going to stay on the casino til the night is over. Physical casinos will slowly die.
