1021  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CRYPTOCURRENCY IN NORTH KOREA on: April 26, 2020, 11:32:21 AM
Unless you enjoy watching people praising Kim as their God like Dennis Rodman.

I reckon Dennis also fears Kim too to a certain extent. Of course he can't talk shit in the media or else he's gonna be on that guy's hitlist.

Just today I read an article about KIM being dead but kept secret.  There were news about it https://www.express.co.uk/news/world/1273919/Kim-Jong-un-latest-updates-North-Korea-leader-dead-reports-reaction-world

This is because he wasn't seen in the public for days, some news says he is in the vegetative state after surgery - liposuction probably.  This is what will happen since they censored all the time and then people will just speculate.
1022  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AB Token | AltBarter.com | Passive Income | ROI | Exchange | Crowdsale on: April 26, 2020, 10:26:48 AM
Actually we can run the exchange without the crowdsale, but we wanted to give people chance to invest at better price. We will see in few days/week and we will close it down and continue without that. That is the only reason to have it at first place. Exchange is already working and after we close the token sale, we are ready to start trading

You're offering it for a low price. The people who wanted low prices are the ones who also wanted big profit like its a rise only market and if you can't give it to them because its locked, they are going to scream the loudest SCAM soon.

The exchange is working I think its best to just work on it, show the users how they can take advantage of your platform and what they can do if they buy your native token.
1023  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CRYPTOCURRENCY IN NORTH KOREA on: April 25, 2020, 04:50:39 PM
I read of how poverty is ravaging that nation, freedom for her people to trade cryptocurrency can turn the tides around as it's doing in some poverty stricken nations that the people have embraced bitcoin and its benefit. Do these people even have access to any exchange in the world? and can they safely convert their crypto asset to their native currency and withdraw same without offending The little rocket man? I once read exchange hacking have been traced to NK, meaning some crypto activities are going on there.

I am just concerned on the freedom cryptocurrency brings could be extended to this nation.

people in North Korea are trained to live a simple life. Commoners dont have access to internet so how come some hackers are from NoKor?
only high ranking people are allowed to use computers and it is not logical for them to hack for money.
on the other hand, legit hackers will surely use location that are not possible to locate so hackers are pointed at North Korea.

No internet?  Its no place for someone who is actively supporting blockchain and bitcoin. If you have been enjoying your life with access to everything and suddenly put in NK you'd be begging to get out of there in less than a day. Unless you enjoy watching people praising Kim as their God like Dennis Rodman.

But there was an incident where there is a conference in NK that an ETH developer was caught teaching their government regarding laundering, I have no idea what happens next but if Kim has an interest to blockchain, it will most likely be like China's DCEP.
1024  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][IEO | ICO] 🌏 CETAN - CRYPTO BANKING 🏦 on: April 25, 2020, 02:59:14 PM

Are all countries ven allowed to register to your platform?

It looks very pro but it seems like I can't get an email after registering there, I tried doing it again but I guess it restricts some countries. You are also saying about IEO but I have not seen the information about which exchange are you doing this.
1025  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: YouTube sued By Ripple on: April 24, 2020, 06:50:37 PM
How could they know a video about XRP giveaway is fake, youtube's AI I think only identifies copy right infringement.

Probably part of Ripples marketing stunt to get to the pages of crypto news while the market is going up. Any team right now would likely do some stunts to get to the sport light while people who got $1200 from Trump's help are looking for which coin to buy.
1026  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Now is the best time on: April 24, 2020, 06:34:05 PM

You might wanna wait for more months or a year until the price of BTC goes way up. Whichever kind of project you have in mind, it will need funds for development and marketing.  We are yet in the crisis, People will not invest in some projects right now because they are yet unsure when this crisis will end.
1027  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Everything you need to know for Q1 2020 Crypto Markets on: April 23, 2020, 08:32:07 AM
300B by the year starts and drop to 178B, almost half were lost. Investors liquidated their assets after they find out there will be possible lockdown to their cities like what happened to Wuhan. They just sellout and dumping for less. It should be obvious for investors in the stock market that crypto markets are much better for the government can't stop the trading, its works every day, whole year-round.

Yes this year started very good but no one saw the pandemic coming which ruin all crypto plans this year, I don't see how this pandemic will help crypto this year, I'm wait and see how things go
Nope we all saw that pandemic is coming but people just disregarded that fact, imagine since early december last year there are so many people dying in China and thinking that the spread is faster yet people from all over the world that goes to China for holiday celebration just did not give a damn about the carrying of the virus thats why the effect goes very much in march because of no prevention method from every individuals.

During that time there were influential people in the media that kept telling travel bans are not going to prevent the spread of the virus.
1028  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Xcard a scam? on: April 23, 2020, 07:21:57 AM

I have heard of the project because I constantly watch the bounty section to check which project is being developed in the market. It looks legit project. Card projects would likely need a big person in the industry and there are some that are almost successful already like the Monaco Card but the TenX project isn't developing well.

Xcard is a very unsure project yet but their website still is alive. For something to ponder is that they could have defaced their website last year if they were a scam.
1029  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AB Token | AltBarter.com | Passive Income | ROI | Exchange | Crowdsale on: April 22, 2020, 03:17:24 PM
Passive income is only true if the token will have good price in the market and maintain this in the long run. Most projects offering passive income is only good in the beginning and once the value decline in the market, the expected passive income is not true anymore. But since you are running a crypto exchange also, maybe you can pull off this kind of business, however, it still depends on how much traders you can attract to use your exchange. And that is to be seen once you are up and operational.
Pardon me but you did not understand the point, passive income comes from generated fees and for that you need to have your AB token locked. If you buy and later sell, no share cut for you after you sell AB token.

Generating fees is the hardest part also. In today's risk, no one in their right mind will deposit and trade to new exchanges. It's going to take years to build trust from users. There is one exchange that patiently does it like the Vitex exchange which is also offering passive income by staking but even today they struggle to find traders.
1030  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [IEO] BLOCKBURN - Where Cryptocurrency And Online Gaming Meet on: April 22, 2020, 02:55:29 PM
complaints? they have not paid anyone that has participated in their bounty campaign.
If you ask info you will get banned. Price collapsed. Spreadsheet deleted. Payment postponed without a deadline.
I see lot of people still Holding Burn. It's already dead. The team is not working. They're somewhere chilling, and these stupid people are still holding, and dreaming price will go up. If you go to their telegram, you will see bunch of noobs just there to kill their time. What a shame this Burn Project has been!

EXIT NOW! You won't get nothing on your tokens if you still HODL this shit token.
Don't get REKT!!!
[/color]

The team got away with what they did, can't believe this is happening right infront of us. This is why it doesn't make sense from the beginning when they said they are listed to do an IEO while they are already in the market. It looks like the team is just trying to lure investors, dumping the tokens for worth $0.26.
1031  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why people run away from trading!!! on: April 22, 2020, 02:43:10 PM

There is no proper training on how to trade which is why most of the users who just discover BTC online just read a few things and get on trading. If trading is not making them money, they will stop and decide to just hold or find new opportunities.

We all know trading is not for all, they're just people good at it and some find solace in staking or setting up masternodes.
1032  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I want to know whether it is right to join bounties? on: April 21, 2020, 05:41:50 PM
Hello friends, I want to know whether it is right to join bounties?
I have seen many threads where people say that your account should be kept clean.
Does the bounty task (Reporting) spoil posting history?
Actually, I want to rank up my account and do some earning, Is it possible both can be done?

Please help me with this what should I do?

I can only assume by what they mean kept clean is that no red trust from DT or scamming attempt. As long as you do good in the forum and does not posts anything that will ruin your reputation, you are fine. Join some campaigns, make your time here worth because you are lucky to have ranked your account.

List of campaigns are in this section https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=238.0
1033  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ETH decentralized? on: April 21, 2020, 04:55:39 PM
The fact that Vitalik decided to roll back means he controls ETH and can manipulate ETH which means he is the central authority to this platform. Its been one of the topics being debated long time ago, it's been used to fud ETH as well. But none of it matters if they trust Vitalik with his decision. Whether its centralize or not, the smart contract makes money.
1034  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Utility Token on: April 20, 2020, 04:33:05 PM

The users who tend to invest in these type of coins are the ones expecting the project to have a community that trust the team to develop a good platform. ETH is one of the utility tokens too. There are some that succeed and some didn't. Picking the right project I would be crucial to bounty hunters in order to get paid. Mb8coin launched their project in critical times, they're lucky they still have survived the season.
1035  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 26 days to the halving left, what are you expecting? on: April 20, 2020, 04:08:27 PM

Like @Qcrypto said, history says it all that halving causes the price to go way up.

It wouldn't make sense if you are looking forward to the crashing of price after halving. If you are a BTC investor, you'd be looking to see the price to go way up, maybe double til the ATH again. The lesser the supply means miners will consider selling their coins for the higher prices.
1036  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Up or Down, People Hodl on: April 19, 2020, 01:04:32 PM
perspectives! While its not certain to determine the fate of the market in the near future , one thing is certain, more people are learning the trade now and often tend to deposit more for trading and other purposes in exchanges which is a good thing. The more people learn about crypto, the more they buy btw and deposits will increase as depicted in 2017 which was a year of boom
Well, from the chart in the OP it looks like people tend to move their BTC to exchanges and buy alts/fiat with them which makes the withdrawals not count as BTC ones. If there are lots of deposits and less withdrawals, it means they're withdrawing something other than BTC.

On the other hand, there's one thing we do not take into account: the fact that a lot of people are holding most of their funds on exchanges instead of personal wallets. I've seen people on BitcoinTalk use their exchange wallet as signature campaign payout addresses.

Could it mean that there are more users who deposited their BTC to exchanges, there are more who panicked and their coins were now bought by top dogs?  In Q3 they hurry to dump to the exchange, it seem they knew it's going to dive below 7k. Now Q2 2020, they up to buy again.
1037  Economy / Exchanges / Re: How Binance STOLE my BTC, a WARNING to Others on: April 19, 2020, 12:00:21 PM
There shouldnt be a problem with these IPs after all its less than 2 BTC.

OP, try to contact them through social media. There are few cases where you got better/fair treatment if you do that through social media.

Is Binance strict with IP change? What if you don't have your static IP at home but a dynamic one?

If Binance doesn't tolerate user with dynamic IP, their exchange probably won't be used by anyone since static IP is a bit expensive and sometimes only available to enterprise user.

Besides, their head state they won't geoblock anyone (https://bitcoinist.com/vpn-is-a-necessity-binance-dex-will-not-geoblock-anyone-says-cz/)

Wouldn't binance look at the social media account and see if its a verified account on social media?  Grin

I have the same issue with Binance. I lost my phone and upon recovering they were asking more IDs. The ones I use to verify my account was my driers license, I gave my passport up since they are asking another government ID.
1038  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How to make Extra Money From Playing Blockchain Games on: April 19, 2020, 09:14:55 AM

Dickman is winning! Same concept to some of the games in blockchain but this is with dividends pool. Though they only meant to distribute TRX, its still a good token to have. My 40 year old cousin Conchito who still lives under his parent's basement would love this. He was asking me about crypto investment, this must be an opportunity for him.
1039  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What matters to grow the price of an Altcoin on: April 18, 2020, 05:35:31 PM

What matters is if they pump BTC and all others will pump. Just today the price of ETH breaks the 175USD resistance and so the rest of the altcoins are also green. Every altcoin has their ecosystem so when an altcoin jumps to a milestone they may earn some trust from individuals who sees the altcoin's property and features and if he sees its worth he will bid in that coin turning its price green as well.
1040  Economy / Economics / Re: returning to normal on: April 18, 2020, 04:17:35 PM

Now that authorities find it easy to control the people easier this way, they will rather find ways to make this virus stay in the minds of the people than just allow people to keep walking on streets 247. Its going to be hard to get back to normal anymore because if we can survive staying at home almost entirely for 2 months, they'd conclude we can also live our entire life in close doors.
