Do you really think I'm scared of your question? No, it's rather that the question is so vague that I don't know what you are asking.....
Yes, absolutely you are. Any company confident in their own status and ability would answer to their customers, AND to the bodies they answer to.
To be absolutely clear what im asking, here it is yet again....

Please publish what licenses Kraken holds, your declared financial partners, and Krakens legal contact details. This should be public knowledge, so no more stalling or bluffing readers here, ok?

As I've said before in this thread, if you want to raise a dispute with a company like ours, the place to start is by reading the terms of service, usually found in the legal section of the website if there isn't a dedicated terms of service section. There you will find instructions on how to initiate the dispute along with the necessary contact information. I'm not going to summarize it for you, because I'm not qualified to do so (not a lawyer) and even if I was you should read through the whole thing carefully for yourself.

I'm still not sure why you are asking for the other information, but unless you are trying to start your own exchange it's probably not relevant. You are asking for pretty specific information about our compliance strategy and these details are private. Why? Because the knowledge required to run a compliant exchange is not easy to come by. It's not easy to determine what licenses you need, what regulations you must adhere to, coming from which regulatory bodies, etc. Further, there is more than one way to do it. For example, ItBit was the first exchange to go the route of creating a trust company, and this way comes with it's own answers about licenses and regulations. We put a huge amount of work, research, and expense into our compliance approach and we are not going to publish the details on demand. Some things we are pretty transparent about, such as the general verification tier requirements that are found on the "Get Verified" page in your account, but not everything.

Regardless of whether it's information that is private or information that we have made public in some way, I'm not going publish any of that information here just because you demand it. My purpose here is to help clients who have support issues or questions about how to use our service, not to cater to arbitrary demands for company information. Again, if you are interested in initiating a dispute with us, asking about licenses and partnerships is not the way to go about it. Instead, start with the terms of service. And if you want any help from me on your tickets, then provide the ticket numbers that you so far have refused to give.

Bluff and bullshit. Kraken is so broke, and you dont even know, or care. Disgusting.
22  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN] KRAKEN.COM - Exchange with USD EUR GBP JPY CAD BTC LTC XRP NMC XDG STR ETH on: June 23, 2017, 06:47:19 PM
I haven't replied in a while, but I have been keeping up with raising the priority on ticket numbers posted here and by DM. Keep in mind that it can still take a while to hear back from support even if the priority is raised, so it will help speed things up but is not an instant fix.

Are you still a technical writer? Seems like a demotion, this pointless forum ticket-pusher job, you do now. Yes?

So, original Havelock holders have all been receiving divs, all this time?

Is there historical P&L and/or site metrics infos available to see?

You guys put too much emphasis on websites...
Personally, no, but many thousands of others do/will.
26  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK] CasinoBitco.in CBTC on: June 22, 2017, 08:04:36 AM
Pedrog, you make great points, hand-up, we weren't thinking of it from that point of view, thanks for being so blunt.

Outside of the manual approach to move unitholders over to the more liquid platform, there is no issue with moving everyone over; and we will provide that opportunity for all (I will be editing my post above, and send another note out in Havelock after I'm done fighting their slow platform).

Thanks again for being so candid.

Well, that went better than expected...

For this place, a rare event indeed!  Cool
27  Economy / Exchanges / Re: anyone using coinfloor??? need your help guys on: June 22, 2017, 08:01:09 AM
hi guys, I'm new to the bitcoin world and I am hoping I haven't missed the train. I sent my deposit to a uk exchange called coinfloor but I was just wondering has anyone else used there services, I sent some funds over on Thursday and still haven't seen a thing come onto my account. I posted on here as I'm worried and am hoping that someone could shed some light on the situation???

I requested to change my Bitcoin withdrawal address over 3 days ago, and still nothing. Pretty terrible considering how well regulated and allegedly professional they're claiming to be

Ive sent 3 emails over the last 5 days. Only automated acknowledgement received.

Kraken is imploding. Bitstamp are whoring for the authorities. Guess its time to try Bitfinex, but much rather use Coinfloor to change into GBP  Cry

An efficient and liquid decentralized exchange, would be really good to have, right now.
Still no response. Wonder how many unread mails are in their spam folder.   Roll Eyes   Although pathetic, this would be the best reason.
We shall see  Undecided

I don't know of any future bounty program but I suspect of there is budget for such program, then I suggest to allocate some small amount on revamping the website appearance/design to make it more modern.

Having an attractive website IS a form of marketing, a form of a marketer spreading the words. And this is not supposed to be overlooked if Veritaseum believes in good marketing.

No, I don't think having an attractive-looking website needs to be expensive. The skills required for web designing are easy (at least far easier than programming skills). And there are plenty of services that actually help design great-looking websites for a tiny sum of money or even free (ref www.wix.com). Veritaseum should capitalize on such services.

So far the feedback I encountered about the website is that it's "straight out of 2002" or something like that.
Reggie didnt think the website was an issue back in 2015 when VERI 1 tokens were first offered. He got alot of flak and criticism, over and over, whenever he was on talking on Whalepool/Teamspeak. His opinion was that it was not something he should focus on and was not important, at that time.
Considering the same criticisms are resurfacing in the minds of the new observers, surely now its the right time to present something that doesnt look like it belongs in 2002.
@Reggie Its time. Hand it over to someone else to work on. Just do it, already.  Smiley

31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think "iamnotback" really has the" Bitcoin killer"? on: June 21, 2017, 02:58:24 PM
Board lost more with him leaving than if 99% of the rest bailed.
Gone right off you sir. Thats an outrageous observation, and quite insulting to many here.

No need for anyone to be offended. I am talking in technical knowledge to this specific arena. I said clearly I include myself in the 99%. If you believe more than 1 in 100 here can offer more technical insight and assistance in explaining to the non technical here then you simply have a different view to myself. I have no idea if you are a skill cryptographer/coder/conceptual designer so you may find other areas of assistance more useful. That is my pov only.

I have made several quite good friends here and would not like them to think i was saying I couldn't care less if they left. I'm sure they did not take it that way and understood I meant.

I was simply saying if you want to ask for example about a new design. Let's say xby (not that I am advocating investing there since I have not been able to get anyone capable to explain to me if it is a useful design or not yet) who else can you ask for an analysis, who else will lay out the positives and negatives for people to read in more laymans terms? he was one of the only persons that seemed to take his time and review them for free for everyone to read.

I am not kissing up to him at all I am simply saying that in my observations and to the best of my abilities I thought when he got into debates in the past with people of proven technical ability (through their work produced) he held his own and even at times found flaws in their designs. I also notice many proven top developers took notice of his opinions and asked for his advice. That to me is enough to see that those here who are now suggesting he wanted to seem smart are wrong and that he actually was/is very smart.

Simple as that. No ass kissing, not hating. Just the observations I made of events that have taken place.

If you were talking just in technical terms, then ok, yes. He certainly appeared to know his subject. Im even on record saying he is highly intelligent. But, smart?? No way my friend. No no no. The very opposite.....clinically opposite, even!
Smart people do not need to shove shed loads of repeated text down peoples throats.
Smart people do not choose to suffer for many years, from a very treatable condition.
Smart people dont feel the need to belittle people with very ordinary differing opinions.
Smart people dont make claims to have something Bitcoin-killer-better, when they cannot show anything to substantiate.
Smart people understand the importance of bringing others along with you, on a project.
Smart people stay away from the distractions of this forum, when theres other things to get on with!
Smart 50+ year olds first learnt the above, when they were in their 20's.
I could go on......

I agree, being well informed on a technical level does not equal being smart in social and other life aspects. To me it rather sounds like some asperger/autism/emotional problems. Unless you solve/reduce them, you will not succeed with anything you do. And that is pretty much the definition of being smart: recognize your (own) obstacles and start removing them in a timely manner. For some people it is also called "growing up".
Agreed. Actually, i do believe it is possible to have all the socially inept character traits and ignored life-lessons that he possesses, and still be successful.....however, you're gonna need some very special people around you to support that. And thats the point here. Nothing meaningful can ever be created and maintained by this character because you just cant do what he claims to want to do, on his own. Collaboration is key, and it requires much input from much people to create something crypto-meaningful. It needs management skills he most definitely does not have. Did you notice on this thread how he choose to treat the very people who could have helped and collaborated with him, with utter disdain and disrespect. Dont think Gavin or anyone else, would have stayed very long, if Satoshi talked to people like Shelby does. He sees a threat, when he should have seen an opportunity, and his pathetic need to show all you how fuckin great he is, is the reason why there will be no Bitcoin killer. Whoever chooses to work with such an insecure 50 year old prick, deserves the biggest medal ever.

Also, what is with the word "hodl"?

I lol'd.

It was a typo in a post somewhere years ago, that just caught on and became a bit viral.

hodl = to hold

Same thing happened to me last week. 7 of the questions are exactly the same as the OP. My ninth question, which really bothers me, was....

"what is the reason for accessing your Bitstamp account using IP addresses in Netherlands, Spain, France, Greece, Belgium, outside your country of residency."
The answer is simply because i was there. What other reason could it be, nefarious or otherwise? Ive yet to reply, so if anyones got any smart-arse answers, please post.

The dirty deed was done. Tis redeemed.   Grin

Problem i have now, is if i reply to Bitstamps nine AML/KYC questions. One of which, is where my Bitcoins came from.  Angry

Interesting, I'd think they came from the blockchain!   Cheesy

Is the information from this thread similar to what you're being asked? - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1818079.0
