21  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 21, 2022, 11:57:25 PM
It is a good news for Casimero fans.  The decision of  Korea Boxing Member commission have overturned the result to 2nd round knockout. According to the news, the KBM had seen that Akaho was greatly damage during the 2nd round and is unable to continue.

Quote
In a letter sent to GAB, the KBM said Akaho himself admitted that retiring from the match was not because of Casimero's wrong punch but because of the damage already inflicted on him especially after Casimero launched a barrage of punches after he was knocked down earlier in Round 2.

"Mr. Akaho admitted that [it] was a KO defeat. Yokohama Hikari Gym, where Akaho belongs to, also admitted that Mr. Akaho lost by KO. Mr. Akaho said that the damage he received was not due to the impact of the punch [that] hit the back of his head. He took a break and tried to fight again, but he gave up because he couldn't and admitted that it was his KO defeat. Both Mr. Casimero and Mr. Akaho acknowledge Casimero's KO victory," the letter reads.

22  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: December 11, 2022, 11:57:08 PM
For Butler, it's a safe side to avoid a KO, not doing any engagement or avoid getting a toe-to-toe confrontation with Inoue is the best
option to avoid suffering a KO loss.

If the goal is just to survive being Knock Out by Inoue, for let's say losing is already accepted, Butler can consider that option and no other options are available.

But that's not making sense to think that he will have a purpose like that as this fight is probably the best highlight of Butler's entire career. He should do everything and risks everything. Show Inoue what he really got.

Therefore, I'm sure Paul Butler will go toe-to-toe even if it's within Inoue's comfort zone since not doing any engagement throughout the entire match won't give him more points to at least take a shot at winning on Decision.

Aside from that, I don't know if running or trying to avoid the close confrontation with Inoue will be properly executed as a strategy since in terms of speed and quickness, Inoue has the upper hand on those and how can even Butler be able to make distance from the monster. There would be no choice for him but to clash head-to-head and trust his own strength.

I think Butler's plan is to outbox Inoue while trying to avoid his knock out punches.  If Butler is able to withstand the punches of Inoue or be able to learn to dodge and block to lessen the impact of the punches, there is a chance for Butler to survive till last round.  But the question for Butler would be, can he outbox Inoue?
23  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 🖤 - #1 VIP Crypto Casino on: December 10, 2022, 06:32:52 AM
This is a good experiment but we all know that doing his on actual will give different result. I’m not sure but is the live RTP affects the chance rate on winning the slot? With this consideration, Fun mode slot result is always different to the actual slot that everyone is using at the same time.

I’m not familiar on the slot mechanics and RTP so I always assume that win chance on slot is affected by the number of people playing it at the same time. Imho.
There is no mechanic like live RTP since RTP is the only accurate term for all casino games which is different in different casinos. Also, win chance in slots isn't affected by the number of playing it.

These are simply various assumptions which are completely baseless to be honest with you.

I tried to play a high RTP games, it somehow gives me a good result.  I do not know if I am just lucky since this is my first play after a long period of hiatus in gambling.  I happen to have a good series of bonus round in a short interval playing  a high Live RTP .  I usually don't believe in this kind of stuff so i can assume that i got a returning gambling luck this time  Grin and not because I am playing a  high live RTP slots.
24  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Proof Of Income Will This Pass on: December 10, 2022, 05:17:09 AM
Ok, suddenly the casino you're playing asks you for proof of income to be able to withdraw your winnings and to keep your account in good standing, your bankroll every month is $500 and you provide proof of salary that you are making $500 net every month, will they accept that proof will they accept that you are putting all your salary for gambling, will this violate the principle of gamble for fun, because you are working to gamble based on your proof income.

Maybe the better question would be, why ask that concern in the first place?

I don't see why an online casino will ask for your proof of income much especially with the amount you have given as an example.

What basically they will gain if we are able to give proofs that we are making around $500 a month?

Peace of mind?  Grin

Assuming that the amount is too huge for a casino, and the casino is suspicious of our fund so they will asked us where is our fund coming from supposedly to comply for AML regulation.  It will give them valid proof that our fund is legit when some authority look at their transactions and sees that we are depositing huge amount of money.  So less headache for them because they will be spared of being accused harboring money launderers.
25  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Chips.gg Scammer !! on: December 09, 2022, 08:54:01 AM
Can you please share the whole conversation with the support of Chips.gg. I want to understand furthermore how Rollbit brought up to his issue just to ban his account. I want to be fair here before jumping into conclusion but I’m sensing that Chips.gg point out an irregularities to the OP while OP stated that he is doing this same method on Rollbit. This is just my assumption because it’s odd for a CS to brought up other casino name out of nowhere.

Using other casino as an excuse doesn't prove anything.  This simply show that the casino has no valid proof to  throw against the player.  And it is funny how to casino exchange information of their players.  That is very unethical.

No kidding, Why casino will required KYC if they are just gonna declined the withdrawal of there user? What’s the sense of asking KYC documents while the result is already determined.

The casino probably is looking for some hole to accuse the player.  If the KYC verification failed,  then the casino won't have any problem confiscating the users funds and winnings.  It is the best first step to deny a player of payment.
26  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin is the most Preferred Choice on: December 09, 2022, 08:39:04 AM
I think Bitcoin is the most preferred choice because it has the most liquidity, most accept cryptocurrency and the most secured network.  Every investors preferred a secured investment and Bitcoin give it to them.  There is no instance of Bitcoin network (except for the early ones that was promptly patched and fixed) hack while other cryptocurrency have an incident of hacking every now and then.  Having most liquidity means anyone can cash out Bitcoin without any problem and the most recognized by the government because there are already several countries that accept it as mode of payment.
27  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / The Birth of a Cycle (Current Bitcoin 4 year cycle is about to end) on: November 08, 2022, 02:22:46 PM
I was browsing Youtube videos when I stumbled this video by Bob Loukas.  The video is all about an end of the cycle and a birth of a new one.  It tackles that Bitcoin is possibly in a transition if not already transitioned to a new cycle.  This does not necessary means Bear market transitioning to Bull market but rather the Bitcoin 4-year cycle is about to end.

28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is NFT's hype over? on: September 03, 2022, 08:53:02 PM
Yes NFT hype is over.  You can see it at the history of NFT trades on CMC.  Besides you can also see that less and less is getting attractive to NFT, and many had been burned and is already disgusted of it.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The Broken Promise For The Hunters on: December 31, 2020, 11:28:58 PM

........... they hold reward, but project did not raise enough funds and decided not to continue development.
This is one of the risk, sometimes it even take months to promote the project, and what bounty hunters get? Nothing, because the project failed and the effort will just be wasted.

It is fine as long as the project owner pays the bounty hunters and never swap the token after the payment is done.  What is not fine is the project owner tends to delay the payment and at the end never pay at all, while others distribute the payment then afterwards create a new token and require the bounty hunters to do KYC in order to swap their token which is very unfair to the point of being scammy.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: YFI product ( team ) on: September 20, 2020, 10:15:08 PM
It looks like the project is emphasizing on YFI, not the YFIP, look like trying to ride the trend.  It is somehow misleading but well a very cunning strategy for a click bait.  I don't know how this project will fare since there are lots of project like this one.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 18% XRP Price Drop ! ~ Moon or Bust? on: September 09, 2020, 07:34:29 PM
Xrp is my main Long term hold along with Ethereum .
Almost 20% dump ! Xrp needs a bit of patience IMO breakout coming. According to IMF and World bank , XRP
be the bridge to the Global Reserve Currency.

I still think xrp will only do well in future because the xrp community but if this DeFi thing work out for them it might give them a needed life for sure . Share your opinions Guys

Did the XRP team sell their monthly dump again?  Well, that 20% crash looks a good discount to me.  The price will be corrected in no time so it is best to enjoy that 20% discount and bag another batch of XRP.

Move out of centralized assets, even though it might get recovered from the current drop it will be going to bust in the future probably will goes to zero as well.Add bitcoin, ethereum and other decentralized coins not the projects which came yesterday to the market and goes out of it in a week or month(s).

Well, why remove the possibility of profit?  May it be centralized or decentralized, investors must remove his emotion in order to gain maximum profit.  Emotion brings biased decision.  I hate XRP but the profit is too enticing.  Hate won't give me a profit but XRP does.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance in trouble over listing scam defi token on: September 06, 2020, 05:32:53 PM
They might be the biggest exchange but that doesn't mean we always trust what they will list there.
It is also our job to look deeper if the coin will have a good product or end up in the sewers.
Besides, it is our money that is on the line and not Binance.

I don't think they will be in trouble for this.
They might battle it with a disclaimer just like that tweet.

They are boasting that they are the best and also claiming that they are reviewing every project before they list it. But this time they list all coins/tokens even if it is an obvious scam. They should be liable at some point because they let them list this coin even though they know how risky is it.

If every scam project listed on binance exit scam then they give this same shit of statement then it will reflect on there image when time comes. I personally use binance because they only list trusted project before but right now. They are just turning into a shady exchange like P2PB2B and Coinsbit which list any project without further research about it as long as they receive listing fee.

Indeed, exchanges should take responsibility if ever they listed a scam project.  They somehow advertise that project through their announcement.  Aside from that, they take fees from these scam project to be a tool to scam people.  What CZ stated is not a reason for them to just list any scam projects.  Aside from that, if it is true that they claim that they review every project before listing it on their exchange just to get the people trusts but in truth they don't, then they really have to face consequences of of being a fraud.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about Sushiswap ? on: September 05, 2020, 11:35:19 PM
What do you think about Sushiswap?

Hi, guys! Yesterday my friend send me the sushi swap project and told me that it's a great project to invest in Binance.

What do you think is this project is good enough to invest?

I am doing some research before put money in their token.

I think it is suitable for investment because this token has entered into the well-known exchanges in the crypto world. new tokens are competing to enter the exchange like Binance. invest hodl and dont panic!!!

Entering a well known exchange does not mean it is a promising one.  They just have the money to be listed, and since they spend to much for listing, they need to recover the money spend on listing.  So as a result, you see a huge dump of token that crashed the price of that token's market.  It is always best to study, research and think multiple times any venture you have in mind.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about Sushiswap ? on: September 05, 2020, 03:30:05 PM
Your friend probably doesn't even know that the sushiswap dev dump $8 million tokens. He's trying to pull a Charlie Lee if you know what I mean. Many of the previous supporters have lost confidence because of what he did. You know what happens to projects like that? It drops tremendously.

Binance just listed that token because they want the trading fees from users like your friend who are riding the DeFi hype. Not all projects in there are legit and if you want to check how it's performed after the hype - https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/sushiswap/historical-data/

If you're going to buy now, you're only giving your money to the people who are waiting to dump and exit. Careful.

Good catch, I would avoid this kind of project where developers are eagerly dumping their token to unsuspecting investors.  This kind of developers should be sued of malicious intent of tricking their investors and supporters.  This case falls under fraud where one take advantage of the trust of people and tricking them to gain financial advantage.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will AVAX unseat ETH? DOT is 3 Ranks away...but AVAX is said to blow DOT away!! on: September 05, 2020, 03:55:39 AM
It is still early to say it will or it won't unseat ETH.  AVAX is still on the early development stage and have not proven itself to compete with ETH.  I think it still needs sometime and besides, the competition never stops and if ever AVAX had proven itself, there is no need for a thread like this to inform people about AVAX unseating ETH.  The ranking will just tell it all.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: De-Fi apps are NOT 100% decentralized on: September 03, 2020, 03:05:14 PM
Many (if not all) smart contracts offering banking services to the unbanked (De-Fi) are usually hosted on centralized web servers. While it's possible to interact with smart contracts by running their code on the ETH blockchain network, this involves a steep learning curve to the end user. The average person would interact with De-Fi apps on centralized infrastructure, as convenience/ease of use is put on top of everything else. For "De-Fi" apps to be 100% decentralized they'd need to be hosted on a P2P network like IPFS or even ZeroNet. But I guess that people don't care about "De-Fi" apps' decentralization as long as they're able to make profits in the shortest amount of time possible.

Do you think that "De-Fi" is not as decentralized as its proponents claim it to be? Does it need improvement? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Smiley

I have the same opinion as you.  As of investors, they care less on the features of the projects.  All they have in mind is to gain profit and that is all.  Would you believe that these investor will use the project apps?  I bet no, or maybe just once.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is DeFi hype the same as ICO hype in 2017? on: September 03, 2020, 02:24:28 PM
Yes, Defi if the new crypto hype, we need to be careful, will not take so long to the first Defi scam project appears, like happened with the Icos, it's just a question of time to something bad shows up in this Defi scenario.
Agree, and actually there is defi project has already been accused of scam and that is Yam Defi, that went from $15k as its peaked and eventually turned out be a scam the following days, and there is another one Defi that seems to be in the boat as Yam, and that is Hotdog, from $4k down to $1.

It is indeed a hype.  Same as the IPO, ITO, ICO, and IEO.  Each period have its trending stuff that is overly hyped.  And now it is DeFi.  But I think, DeFi had been around for some years, it is just now that it took attention and became a hype.

Well, I doubt if it's a bubble that will burst soon because some DEFI projects are doing really great with development, hence we shouldn't generalize all DEFI projects.

A sudden surge in price in a small duration of time can be considered as a bubble and YFI market is exactly match that discription.
38  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do "they" tag BTC (from gambling, mixers, dark markets, etc.)? on: September 03, 2020, 01:03:54 PM
Since converting to BTC costs money (always more than 1% in my experience, often MUCH higher (BTC ATMs)), it's beginning to look like BTC will not be a game-changer for privacy.
The obvious answer to this is to not convert back and forth between BTC and fiat and just stay in BTC as much as possible. Earn bitcoin, accept bitcoin, spend bitcoin.
In my humble opinion, Bitcoin was never intended to be linked with the fiat currencies world:

If that so, how can one identify the value of BTC?  And since BTC is created as currency, we cannot avoid linking fiat currency to BTC.  Old world is always linked to new world same with finances.

I am pretty confident that one day we will be using Bitcoin only financial instruments or, at least, that's my dream since being into BTC.
 Smiley

Well, we are already using Bitcoin as financial instrument but I think it is too much for a dream for Bitcoin to the only financial instrument to be use in this world and this will never happen.

In the end, yes! Just stay in BTC as much as possible. Earn bitcoin, accept bitcoin, spend bitcoin.

If only all merchants will accept Bitcoin as it is.

Indeed, the person must dig deep into research about Bitcoin, Bitcoin trading and all the exploit scammers are using to enticed people into investing to their scam scheme.  There are news in my country where a person pretending to be a Bitcoin trader scammed several investor.

It is due to the lack of knowledge that the scammer are able to scammed these individuals.  So it is better to do research about the venture we wanted to get in in order for us to at least detect if the offer is too good to be true or not.
