401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What emotions does cryptocurrency make you feel? on: May 11, 2019, 11:25:17 AM
A desire to be part of the trend maybe. To experience little freedom financially and to explore. There’s a lot to explore to in cryptocurrency, to discover how the movement goes by myself and not just hearing from the experts. Another is to have a taste of what other have enjoyed already and be part of it. I’m quite late in this part but nevertheless, there is no late for a person who wants to try.
402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how can i trust new platforms? on: May 11, 2019, 07:05:43 AM

Do not trust any new platform unless otherwise the new platform was made by popular team, with experience. If that's not the case, you are probably going to waste your money in that platform. Be wary when you invest.
This advice is reliable but I’ve encountered some successful projects that didn’t appear to be so appealing, no attractive whitepaper and not much flowery words in it. In fact their objectives was very simple and had very few supporters but then they turned out to be successful and their coins got a very good price in the market. Investment is like gambling, no 100% assurance of success but if we will never try we will never know. Better to lose trying than to never try at all. Just saying.
403  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC $6K, BUY OR SELL on: May 10, 2019, 03:47:05 PM
This depend on what is your target profit OP. If you are aiming for $100k Bitcoin then it is a good buy but if you are buying because you are being hyped,  I would say think again and study the market.  Better check what is your plan and what is your target exit price and reflect if you have the patience to wait for them.  Aside from that, if you have the luxury to wait years and will not get broke when the price crash.
404  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Price trends will be decided tomorrow(05/05/2019) on: May 10, 2019, 03:19:14 PM
If the Altcoin market follows BTC price rally then the bullish market is confirmed due to new FIAT entering on crypto market. If not <...>
We really don't know what is the main reason for this bullish run, it might be the adoption or might be the trading. Only one thing is for sure, both factors provides posiyive trend in the market and that was a lot to cherish for.

As I look to my wallet lately, I'm shocked because btc now exceed the $6k mark. That is quite impressive. Hmm, I think it's the right time for me to invest more while the hyoe lasts lol.

Probably it is because of the involvement of Fidelity, a Boston-based asset management firm.  The involvement of Fidelity surely push the price of Bitcoin since it brings trust to wall street by safeguarding its cryptocurrency investor.

Fidelity’s announcement opened a strong Wall Street perspective for bitcoin. The big institutions so far kept their distance from the cryptocurrency industry, citing lack of regulatory oversights, volatility, and security as main issues. Fidelity itself entered the bitcoin space as a custodian, the one that would safeguard the cryptocurrency for investors. But the company stayed on the sidelines as far as trading bitcoin was concerned.

405  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to choose Kucoin ??? on: May 10, 2019, 11:08:25 AM
Kucoin is by far one of the safest and securest exchanges that haven't been hacked. It's time-tested and words very well. It has many altcoins added, so KCS can become big in the next bull, which is already started. Kucoin is a reliable choice. Well, Binance was hacked, though they replenish all lost funds, so no big deal for users.

You can say that until the day that exchange is hacked.  I believe all exchange are susceptible to hacking, meaning there is no safe exchange platform in the internet space.  We better keep our stuff in our own stash and use only exchanges if we want to trade.  I am a user of Kucoin myself but I never use it as bank to store my tokens and coins.
406  Economy / Economics / Re: Btc stability and volatility question? on: May 10, 2019, 10:57:23 AM
read the first sentance, I suggest stop trading it to fiat you fools, has satoshi?

I can't imagine how could one person acquire BTC outside mining if he won't trade fiat to it?  And how would miner sustain their activity if they will not convert their mined BTC to fiat?  Yes it is stated that it is what it is on that article pasted by OP but it does not said that it should be limited to that option.  I believe the conversion of BTC to fiat and vice versa is needed to help Bitcoin ecosystem healthy.

Being on a bounty campaign is like a box of chocolate you never know what you're going to get.

conclusion:

You never know that a Token you're gonna get have some worth or no.

don't you agree guys?

"Forest Gump Movie Qoutes"
Life is Like a box of chocolate you never know what you're going to get.
Lol! I have some correction on that. “Bounty campaign is like a fully covered box” you don’t know what you got in there. Sometimes the box is empty when you are suddenly scammed and all your efforts will be wasted and sometimes you got something in there but you don’t really know if it is just shits or gold since you won’t really know the future of their coins.  Grin Wink.
410  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: HOW TO IDENTIFY SCAM BOUNTIES on: April 22, 2019, 05:02:00 PM
Check out the team, if they are real, the possibility of being a legit project is high because scammers will not use real image. Study the project more widely to learn about the product.

There are a lot of this kind of threads where people aksing the same question. Please use search button.
True. Some scammers use other known personalities photos or if not some developers with legit project and use other name with the same photos. Better find the people in their team in LinkedIn or other social medias if the name do appear to be legit or just a dummy account. Most of the scam projects found out by members here are the team. They are not real personalities and if they’re being exposed to be scams, immediately, they disappear in their Telegram channels and they cannot find explanations to answer accusations.
411  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC To 9K$, China Banned miners on: April 22, 2019, 04:52:29 PM
Did they really ban bitcoin mining?

It only says it's considering a bitcoin mining ban, so it's not yet final so I guess everyone should stop speculating as this point until we really heard fro the Chinese government about their stance on it.

On the bright side, it might cut the monopoly of Bitmain and other countries might be willing to keep bitcoin mining on their back-yard.
Yea, theres no confirmation to this yet. I’ve read an article about it and it says that this plan is probably just a front for a more advance plans. They are probably thinking or planning a more advance technology or devices to replace what they used to have. They’ve only mention about bitcoin mining and not banning bitcoin entirely so I think it will not hurt the value that much.
412  Economy / Speculation / Re: This Huge Price Increase on: April 22, 2019, 04:43:39 PM
I’m not too excited with the changes in price lately, you’re right, this can just be a trick but anyway this could also mean a beginning. I’m not too moved but I don’t underestimate this happening. I stay calm and positive that we are heading to the moon and sooner or later we will be there.
413  Economy / Speculation / Re: 'Bitcoin will run up to $5,000 by May' on: April 22, 2019, 04:38:51 PM
Better to not wait until May of the month before the bitcoin increase at $5000 because better to reach higher than that in the month of March or month of April we know bitcoin can increase that value or more depends on how the people buy bitcoin and care bitcoin.
$5000 for the bitcoin is value for me is not enough because the real price that I think I will satisfy when the bitcoin reach $20,000.
True. Not good enough for most of us. Actually I believe everyone is waiting for the last 2017 event to happen again and $5000 is nothing if they bought their bitcoin more than this amount in 2018 so it doesn’t make much sense to them although they might also be excited for the market movement since it can also be a sign of a more rise in price, so this is also not bad if it will lead to more.  Cheesy
414  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Lolli Chrome Extension - Bitcoin Cashback for Online Shopping on: April 22, 2019, 04:26:42 PM
Has anyone ever used the Lolli chrome plugin, which gives you cashback for shopping at a bunch of online shops?
I've written a review about them, but I sadly can't test out their service myself, because it's only available in the US.

https://www.lolli.com

Here's the article I wrote about them:
https://steemit.com/lolli/@daan/rsttozk-check-out-lolli-the-chrome-extension-that-gives-you-free-bitcoin-for-online-shopping
This is nice. Anyway people do not really care about other stuffs as long as they need to shop they will but good thing is you will be earning while spending. Sad that it is available only in the US but I was thinking, if a user has accumulated much bitcoin, the article didn’t mention that users can use them to buy back in Lolli if they want, I think they should also make it possible.
415  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Traders, what are your views in 2019. on: April 22, 2019, 04:12:48 PM
Full of hope this year because in the previous year many traders were experiencing problems and now I think people are indeed waiting for a moment where prices can rise again
True. Investors are hungry for this long term bearish market after experiencing 2017’s taste of goof profit, everyone now is anticipating it would happen again. Anyway its been more than a year already, maybe before this year ends the market will recover again. I’m waiting too.
416  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what do u think will happen 100 years or 1000 years from now on: April 22, 2019, 04:01:49 PM

One day cryptos might boom in such a way that basically everyone who didn't invest in them will become poor
Lol! I think this line is an exaggeration   Cheesy.
What if they have not invested simply because they have investments other than bitcoin and they just decided not to be involved in cryptocurrency? Though your speculation can also be true but I don’t think everyone who did not invest will become poor and what if everyone did, will there be enough to make everyone millionaire or billionaire in the whole world?
417  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin versus Gold, the conflict on: April 22, 2019, 03:49:35 PM
Are the two in competition? I don’t think so. Gold has been in existence for almost from the beginning of the world while bitcoin has just been here since few years ago. I don’t also see they are in conflict. People are comparing investments between the two but both has different characteristics, features and uses.
418  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Amazon and Bitcoin on: April 22, 2019, 03:39:14 PM
do we really need it? it would be a good sign for mass adoption but in my opinion its not really a need. rakuten is going to be accept bitcoin as far as i have noticed lately. as long as some other mid / big shops accept bitcoin we are on a good way.  Smiley
Well, Amazon is no small market bud, its not enough that only big and leading shops accept bitcoin as payment, as much as possible we want all of them to include bitcoin in their accepted currencies because we want mass adoption for bitcoin. Amazon probably is afraid of possible conflict between them, visa companies and PayPal if incase they include cryptocurrency as a mean of payment.
419  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Yobit login problem, I have the 2fa code and everything on: April 22, 2019, 03:20:48 PM
WOW, I cannot believe how helpful you were. If I had any merit left, I would give it to you. It turns out I had to try it with Internet Explorer. Earlier I had entered and used the site with Chrome, no problem, but this time no dice. I used IE, and it immediately said it sent me an email, and I received it. Not sure what is wrong with Chrome, but must be an extension or something.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART!

I also tried Internet explorer logging in in Yobit and I experienced the same problem. When I was about to enter the authentication code from my mail there was no provided box for the code so I did it with Chrome and it went fine and fast. Anyway there are 2 boxes provided there, the code they send to your mail and the google authenticator code for your email and 2fa.
420  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling - A Game of Luck or Strategy on: April 22, 2019, 11:53:50 AM
I am not good at luck, so i always play on skill gambling like sportsbet. Because even need luck, i can see how power of both team that in match especially i pick on football bet. Not really good at other sports.
This strategy of yours is based on observation mate. Because you’ve observed how the players move so you just need to be wise on which team to bet based on experience. You already know which team is the winning team and which one is the lousy team. Yea there is no luck here, maybe sometimes when we least expect it suddenly the waves turn to our side.
