22  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How tough is futures in comparison to spot trading on: June 24, 2024, 02:53:01 PM
I plan to learn futures trading and dive into it fully, I've been demo trading for a while now and I've been doing fine and I think I can make the big jump now maybe because the exchange I'm using is offering events for first time futures traders lol

But I'm sure you guys have traded futures a lot, how hard is it compared to spot?

Don’t. Futures has a liquidation to your asset which is strong disadvantage when trading a very volatile asset like cryptocurrency. Spot itself provides huge volatility for a huge profit potential so you just need to just accumulate via spot trading until you built your holdings and wait for the tokens to grow without getting the risk of being liquidated.

At least on spot trading, you will only experience paper loss once the price dump but you can recover it back once price return above your buy price which is not an option for futures trading your funds was loss once you are liquidated.

Just trade with spot and play safe if you are new to trading.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Distracting Myself from Market Worries with a Shooter Game on: June 24, 2024, 02:01:28 PM
Game that rewards token without generating profit itself using the game is useless. It will just fall to the same cycle of crypto projects like Axie that will eventually die down once everyone is already playing just for the earning and no one is buying the token anymore to fund the team rewards pool.

I believe having a job is more better to earn money rather than playing games and waste rime on it just to get a measly token that you don’t have any certainty that it will grow in value in the future.
24  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✨ BITCASINO - Elevate Your Gameplay 💎 #1 VIP Crypto Casino ✈️ on: June 24, 2024, 01:57:25 PM
Nice detailed review on this slot games. I stop playing Play’n Go slot games since they don’t offer bonus buy while the bonus feature usually have less chance to win huge multiplier.

Tried golden pistol today but no luck to even get a multiplier above x10 despite bunch of spin attempts. Play’n Go bonus feature triggered frequently yet it only gives small return.

I might try the new version of Wild Riche today. I’m encouraged by your review!
25  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: June 24, 2024, 01:03:52 PM
What do you guys think about the Warriors possibly signing Paul George if Klay decides to leave? As a Warriors fan, I would be sad to see Klay playing with another team, but he is really done for unless he gains back his confidence next season. Steph badly needs someone else who can help him offensively. When it comes to offense, I think PG is a better choice right now. Steph still has something left and still has a chance to get a ring, at least one or two, before he retires. It's just that he doesn't have much help, especially from Klay last season.

It could be a good tandem, Curry + Paul George, maybe it will be similar to Curry with KD before. Curry still has plenty inside of him in my opinion. He still has the fire inside of him to get one more ring. But the thing is that it takes a lot of pieces to be perfect and last season Klay was not existent and then a lot of their players are inconsistent like Wiggins and Kuminga. They really need someone to spark like what Paul can bring to them and he is also a good defensive player like Klay Thompson. So let's see how the Warriors are going to align their players again. Of course, we don't want to see the Splash Brothers breaking, but it's not personal for this two, they will have to part ways if it's no longer working.

PG is not the same as before maybe Kawhi is much better because of his defensive capabilities but in general I don’t agree for any trade to Clippers star since both of them are injury prone already. Warriors will have a good chance of winning for a player like KD that is less injury prone per year.

PG and Kawhi are glass cannon players which is effective on some games but not durable which is a disadvantage during playoffs. They shouldn’t trade Klay for a glass cannon player if they want a championship chance.
26  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chased loss, got it back and lost everything. on: June 23, 2024, 05:16:33 PM
Just played crazy time right now. I just noticed some anomaly when betting after the host change. The game session is full of bonus feature win before they changed host while the win spin is normal.

Everything turns into nightmare when this specific host enter since the will always suddenly break whenever it will landed potentially to a bonus feature. This keeps happening for 20 rounds without bonus. The wheel noticeably breaking when it’s near to stop a bonus while it’s break naturally when it will land to 1 or 2. Crazy time suck, I never thought that many user is true until I experienced it first hand.

Avoid crazy time if you notice that wheel suddenly breaks since that host probably for collection time after paying out previous winners.

It’s very to prove this since you will need to physically check the wheel in able to conclude whether they really use break or not to alter the result based on their preference. The problem is they are still paying out users with huge multiplier on some bonus round that’s why not all players will be convinced about this conspiracy.

I rarely play live games nowadays because getting a simple x100 is very difficult and requires to cover multiple bet just to guarantee qualification on the bonus round. I still preferred slot games when it comes to high paying multiplier games. Blackjack is still the best game to play on live because you can assure that the game is fair due to its transparent mechanics and same with other live card games such as baccarat.
27  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a Retirement Bet on: June 23, 2024, 04:49:35 PM
Bitcoin is gaining a lot of popularity and there are people considering it as a retirement investment. How good is this?

I would say don’t all-in since Bitcoin still contain high risk due to its volatility considering that we are talking about retirement money which you will badly need in the future. You can’t afford to hold longer if you are already retired while the price of Bitcoin that time is lower than your average buy. There’s a lot of time which Bitcoin plunge huge percentage of the price that makes it still a high risk.

I think splitting your retirement plan to stock market, cash in the bank and Bitcoin will be a good idea since you can hedge the risk if one the 3 market crash.

29  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which is easier, to quit when winning or to quit when losing? on: June 23, 2024, 02:49:59 PM

Suppose our bankroll is $100 and it has already grown to $500, would you quit or continue? Conversely, if with our bankroll, we are down to $10, would you still continue or save the remaining $10? I used specific amounts to make it easier to discuss this situation. I understand that we all gamble with different amounts based on our income, but consider this as an example. You can mention any amount you want based on your personal experience; it doesn't matter.

Answer depends on how long does the duration of gambling since this play an important part for determining when to quit. I usually quit when I’m satisfied on my game regardless if I win or lose but based on your option I already made x5 of my bankroll then ai probably choose quitting at profit rather than quitting with minimal lose since the chance of chasing loss is still high because the amount involved is still near the original bankroll.

The only time that quitting at less loses easier is when you play already for long time without progressing to your bankroll.
30  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gamba.com | New Crypto Betting Casino on: June 23, 2024, 02:38:53 PM
The casino has a very unique and cool graphic design. The unique artwork done is so good since it’s game theme.

My only concern is the website is very slow to load the content especially the games and bet history the first time I browse the casino. But the website format feels like gamdom but the artwork makes it much better than other casino with same template.

Regardless, welcome to the forum. I’m expecting bonuses for us to try the casino.
31  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🐺Spinarium.com🐺 - iGaming casino with 400% welcome bonus + 200 free spins 🎮. on: June 22, 2024, 04:02:37 PM
Until now, is the 400% welcome bonus still going on in the first hour of sign-up on this casino platform? Then there are 200 free spins; he is actually tempting. But first, I want to be sure of those who have tried this casino. Has anyone experienced it? anyone?

Because if this is true, it means that if I deposit $100 and my balance will be $400, then I still have a free spin to use around 200 spin. right?  Can the 200 free spins be used on slot games only? thank you Wink

Though have not actually tried it but 400% for welcome bonus is very tempting but however if that's true I don't think they will add it up to your balance because the way most of the Platform operate is that they normally have some amounts of funds for new users but they will not be allowed to withdraw because the main purpose for the welcome bonus is for the users to use it and gamble, so you can only be allowed to withdraw from the wining you have made from it because the reason why I believe so is that if that welcome bonus are to be withdrawn anytime, people would have actually be making money by only going after the welcome bonuses, though like I said I have not tried it so I'm just saying based on assumption but someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

Some casino adds the bonus automatically on the balance but on the bonus balance which you can use already to wager in the casino. You can’t withdraw the bonus from your balance until the wagering requirements is completed.

I’m not a player to this casino but those x40 wagering requirements on the 400% bonus is already enough to guarantee that user will have a hard time completing the requirements so they might add the bonus immediately to the wallet balance.

This bonus sucks if the x40 wagering requirements can be accomplished by the initial deposit itself.
32  Economy / Gambling / Re: I need help with sportsbets i made on blackjack.fun and sirwin.com on: June 22, 2024, 03:30:43 PM
I am waiting for their email to let you people know.
So this is not the bet you are referring?
The bet number you provided is currently settled as a win in our system if it was correct.

The representative reply makes the whole thread confusing. I’m not sure how this bet can be settled as win while the OP is just seeking for refund. OP will not open this thread if the bets are “won”. I’m not sure what bet slip does the representative see or if he read the whole thread before he made a reply.

But I think the bet in question is what posted in the OP while the mods look on different bets on the account history.

@OP you should follow @Russlenat suggestion since the support is more active on telegram due to communication moderation.

33  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does mathematical calculations really work in lotto or is it just guess work? on: June 22, 2024, 03:04:35 PM
If using mathematical calculations in lottery predictions, many people will win the bet in placing numbers,
I don't think such calculations can be used to win bets,
the organizer will go bankrupt if this can be done,
But it is not strange when it comes to this, in my country it is also the case, generally bettors will calculate the good numbers they will put on their bets by looking at the previous numbers with a mathematical system or other systems that they think can win bets. Because basically the lottery game is like that, as bettors they just follow the flow of the game hoping that they get lucky.

Lottery is a pure luck based game so using previous number history to calculate the outcome of the upcoming round is useless since it doesn’t affect the result.

It’s impossible to calculate the result unless you knew exactly the mechanism of the lottery machine and tweak it in-favor to your bet such as decreasing the wait of the ball of your preferred number combinations but this is cheating and needed an inside job.

In general there’s no way to apply math for determining the result of the game.
34  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The pressure, fear and indecisiveness that comes with trading. on: June 22, 2024, 12:43:05 PM
Trading has always had it ups and downs, but you come to realize that those ups and downs are what really makes trading interest and unpredictable, this is the reason why before one becomes a trader,he should try to see the risks of it and the good side of it because if he rushes  into it without making some research about it,knowing the right things to do,it will down on him at the zero zero hour.

You are describing like a gambling. But you’re right that the volatility is what makes trader profit in trading since the higher the changes is the greater profit they can get.

This is one of the reason why leverage was invented since trader want more price action on a stable assets such as fiat. With leverage feature, a minimal movement will resulted to a huge gain/loss depending on the leverage use.

Quote
Moreover,so many persons are scared away because of the pressure and fear that accompanies trading, but they need to go back and rethink, make up their mind, and come back to trading because with time, they will get to know the modus Operandi of trading, and how it works.

Many are scared because they don’t have any clue about trading. It’s really fearful if you don’t have trading skills since you are competing with other traders in able to gain in trading. Fear and pressure is understandable feeling if you knew to yourself that you are not good on trading.
35  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting on political events on: June 22, 2024, 12:12:07 PM
Election is not a continuous event, so for me, it's not interesting to discuss, and I don't think we need a dedicated thread for it. One can create a thread and discuss it when an election is happening. Actually, only elections in big countries are interesting to discuss. For example, in the US, the presidential election only happens every four years. If there's no election happening, that certain thread will stay stagnant.

Election is not a continuous event yet the election day of each country is different to each other that’s why people can discuss it continuously with different country elections. Campaign duration is also long that gives us longer time to speculate.

I think the only problem with this kind of discussion is that casino usually offer political betting on US and some major country but the rest of the world is still not included for the choices.

Anyway, the OP can temporarily lock this thread whenever there’s no active election available for discussion.
36  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Avoid Miscalculated Risks In Gambling. on: June 21, 2024, 04:20:57 PM
we all know that in event where winning is a 50/50 chance one is required to bet wisely right?

Gambling is never about 50/50 chances unless you play coin toss or bet on red/black on roulette!
Seriously, there is so much wrong in your advice I'm starting to think you don't even gamble!

Why take higher odds? Simple, because higher odds do work, for example
Royal Ascot Festival yesterday:

14:30 1 Shareholder 12/1
15:05 1 Going The Distance 9/1
15:45 1 Port Fairy 12/1
16:25 1 Kyprios 11/10 F
17:05 1 Mickley 15/2
17:40 1 Jayarebe 7/1

Yeah, the moment he mention taking unnecessary risk for an odds above 50/50 make my eyebrow curl a bit. This guy surely doesn’t gamble at all because most of the gambler take high odds especially if the match involves a darkhorse team that frequently take down favorite despite being an underdog.

Quote
Now please ELI5 how your 50/50 odds would have worked?
He is assuming that low odds is sure win that’s why he called a taking unnecessary risk or miscalculated risk all bets above his 50/50.

38  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling therapy on: June 21, 2024, 02:56:00 PM
But financial literacy will not be useful if someone still has a gambling addiction, I noticed correctly that someone when still has a gambling addiction and he still has money to gamble any literacy will be useless, if he ever gets a very big win from gambling, maybe it will be something that will be very difficult to give people like that, they will turn a deaf ear.

Moreover, speaking of risk, I often advise my friends on campus who are very addicted to gambling, but they always have reasons to keep gambling and do not care about warnings, advice and anything to realize that excessive is like drinking poison into the body.

Having a financial literacy will make you immune to addiction since you will manage properly your bankroll. It’s impossible that you will call yourself a financial literate while you have a gambling addiction problem. Financial literacy and Gambling addiction will not co-exists inside same person because obviously there’s one will takeover.

Either you are addicted or you can handle well your finances. What you are describing are those people that in the borderline financial literate that makes them easily sway by addiction if given the opportunity to play.
39  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does mathematical calculations really work in lotto or is it just guess work? on: June 21, 2024, 02:43:40 PM
If you come closer to any of these lotto shops and kiosks, you will notice gamblers of all ages, young and old busy calculating and coming up with probable combinations of numbers that can win. I notice that experienced forecasters and even scammers sells "sure numbers" and other gamblers will pay money to buy these numbers. Some times they win or one number or arrangements can spoil their tickets

Busy calculating what? Calculating the probability of winning doesn’t increase your chance of winning on lottery nor choosing the number combination since the result is pure random. Even if you use random generator number will give same equal chance when you manually pick as long as you purchased the same ticket amount.

The number of ticket determines your chance of winning assuming that all the tickets will have different number combinations.

Quote
Do you think that people can calculate and predict the numbers that machines draw or they're just guessing and picking random number combinations?

People can calculate the probability but there’s no way to predict the exact outcome.

Tried to read to your article and it’s really impressive how catchy the topic that makes me read all throughout the article. I like your style of narration which is on point yet informative. You knew what’s a gambler reader wants to read that makes us interested.

The only problem I encountered was your website is very slow to load especially the images for your article. Your article #1 which discusses high multiplier win and new games  are so good to read. Adding bonuses and something rewarding will make your website solid.
