921  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: OCC recommend banks to offer private key vaults to customers on: May 29, 2023, 05:24:04 PM

If the bank adopts such a business technique of impacting the cryptocurrency space, it could help the market, but it's not advisable for banks to hold their customer's private keys; the security can be guaranteed since they save different assets for people too. If a hacker gets to their database, unless they save it in a paper, it'll be disastrous. Hence, I see positive reactions to the idea, many banking customers getting into crypto is a good wave, entering the market on the wrong side is a disadvantage to them.

Imo there is trust issue problem on this since both party can accused each other in event that a hacker or an inside job happened on that specific wallet. The user can mix the coin then pretend it was hacked and blame the banks for the loss while the banks can do the other way around.

This kind of situation which both party holds the private key on the asset can create a blaming and stealing game to each other. This is how the way I understand the scenario under this circumstances.
922  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BE QUICK: #SAMO on: May 29, 2023, 04:10:45 PM
FOMO is real. There are so many people losing their money caused by they trapped into the short term pump by the whales. SAMO has become crazy meme coin in the past but it's now useless coin. I don't even know the main reason for people to buy at peak price. It goes down like a meteor that was going to the earth. This shit scam coin will die again for second time.

Simply because of the hype and no sign of holding back during the token is being hype. FOMO is very powerful the subject token have a very bullish signal in a form of big news event. People think the price will not go down when the hype is still very strong that’s why many newbie traders are being left out by whales that use their money as an exit liquidity from this money making shitcoin.

Buying this very token is what I really done understand. This coin is pure garbage and feeding on the hype. Meme coins use any possible news to convert it for a bullish news. It's better to place your money as bet on gambling rather than a shitcoin without a future.
923  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Doing scam for Using AI Tool in Signature Campaign on: May 29, 2023, 03:14:15 PM

While here in the forum the debate focuses on how to stop AI from being used on it, outside this cave the debate is simply how it is already being integrated into our lives. The latest is that google is going to integrate it with the search engine. In the same way that first google lens came out and now you have it next to the search engine without having to go and open the App separately, the integration of AI with search engines will allow us to get more accurate information faster and with even less effort.

The admin will not apply AI to a forum, any admin forum admin will not allow that,  the platform will try to have as much unique content as possible for generic traffic, if the admin will allow AI usage the search engine will not value a platform that is full of spam and its content copy pasted it will be relegated to second-grade site and will value more the source of the content.

I believe he is referring to the application of AI on forum search bar but the data is limited to the content of the forum alone. This is just collecting data from previous post that we are doing manually when someone ask the same repetitive question.

The only concern is how the AI will validate the correctness of the opinion or content by someone in the forum. Maybe merit and reputation ratio of the source will be considered by the AI?
924  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you like Meme Coins (Pepes project)? on: May 29, 2023, 03:06:01 PM
For now it may seems as nothing being wrong with the project but we cannot predict what may come after in the future concerning this same memecoin, though it started well now but we cannot predict the entire future it has base on it developers interest and mindset towards the project, but what i always take for memecoins is to weigh them all on certain level of being thesame but different developers, there's no reliability in anything that get you guaranteed that nothing will happen inbthe nearest future if you invest on memecoins.

Evrything on this token and meme coin in general is wrong. There is no real utility that will makes the company generate profit aside from the exit liquidity coming from the dumb investors that buying this token without any idea meme coin works as ponzi.

Check th roadmap and white paper to see if there is something promising in terms of development. This token goal is just to list on exchange and get as much as possible exposure to gain more liquidity from new holders. The meme coin community knows what really going but they are enjoying this ponzi since the volatility is very high. Whales are just eating retail traders money that buys this garbage token.
925  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why do you still want to play fake web2 casinos? Why we choose web3 casinos on: May 29, 2023, 11:52:59 AM
The main thing is that the casino or other gambling services meet the requirements of honesty in the conditions. What difference does it make web2 or web3 if the casino has an open source and is accredited by programmers who see that the chances of winning are fair?
I think that such conditions are enough to safely play in an online casino.

Exactly, Web3 casino have a license to operate while they are just using a 3rd party provider for their games is audited and license too by gambling regulator. A pure decentralised casino is not in demand that much since centralized casino already move forward on the legality compared before that most casino do exit scam since they have nothing to lose because the owner is a complete anonymous.

Centralized casino is operating for so long without a problem or known serious scam accusations that doesn't solved. I doubt decentralized casino can beat that considering the games offered on web3 casino is very plain and simple.
926  Economy / Gambling / Re: ❤️ BitcoinCasino.to - Guide & Reviews - 1400+ Crypto Casinos List on: May 29, 2023, 11:39:29 AM
If you're referring to Bitstarz, yes, our review was positive because our own experience has been positive. It's also one of the oldest and most popular crypto casinos and has been reviewed positively by most major review sites (BCKings, Gosu, CoinGambling, BBC), as we've previously pointed out.

If you choose any major crypto casino and google their brand name + "scam" you will find numerous claims, even if the casino is generally considered legitimate. Try it with Stake for example. Illegitimate claims can make it difficult to identify legitimate claims and popular operators all get them.

Having said that we have already removed Bitstarz while we're re-reviewing their particular claims.

Also, our reviews are not based on what a casino tells us about themselves but based on our experiences actually playing at the casino.

Hope that clarifies things.

The problem is you are promotin here in the forum which Bitstarz have known proven scam incident that didn't took care many years ago when they have a chance. You can refer here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=30726. for the reference of their previous scam accusation.

We respect your experience but even if the casino is working for you safely then you will ignore the fact that they have an active case. You are promoting a review site which aims for players to guide them on choosing proper casino based on your judgement. What if Bitstarz scam the person that you invite since they have a record of scamming someone? Would you take the blame?
927  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Ivan Toney's Case and You on: May 28, 2023, 04:32:05 PM

The consequence of betting addiction are so huge that it not only affects the individual but also impacts everything around them. Besides having a bad reputation, and facing ban, Ivan's career is already over.  Although there are critics of the ban by the FA, in my opinion, it doesn't hold any water. The deed has been done, and even if they overturn their judgement one thing is sure; he has a gambling problem. It is already out there and will be there forever.

Betting to lose your own club is not a sign of gambling addiction but rather an opportunity to earn profit through match fixing. I will consider his case a a gambling addiction if he wasted his money on random gambling but this time he is just taking advantage on inside betting. This is happening on other sports though because athletes can always hire someone to place bets for them.

As you are reading this, it's quite common for many of us to have a friend or family member similar to Ivan. How did you become aware that your friend is struggling with gambling addiction, and what actions have you taken to help them to over it?

Similar to ivan no because he is just an opportunist. You will know someone is struggling with gambling addiction if he keeps borrowing money and plays gambling most ofmthe time.
928  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Educating unemployed friends about Bitcoin on: May 28, 2023, 03:01:24 PM
And I assure them if we all get involved in Bitcoin maybe our unemployment will go away. Because there are enough ways to earn money with Bitcoin.

This is true if your profession is related on programming or anything that will get you a job related to Bitcoin. But if all of your profession doesn't fit on Bitcoin or crypto in general then you really need to find a way to get your normal job because Bitcoin is not a salary making machine in contrary to what is currently running to your mind.

Out of all my friends two of my friends have some savings and when I told them about the investment they became very interested in investing but I didn't tell them only the positive aspects of the investment I told them the negative aspects. And I know the rest of my friends would also be interested in learning about Bitcoin but I just don't know how to start teaching them about it. Because bitcoin crypto currency is completely illegal in my country. So how can I help my friends in this regard?

Hope you guys can give me proper feedback on this and help me move forward in helping them.

I really feel the danger on what’s coming based on your story. You are attracting them to invest due to their unemployment and the tendency for them to chase profit is very high. They might ended up investing on shitcoins once they have more knowledge on crypto since you are looking for a source of income and not knowledge.

There's no harm to put savings on Bitcoin but relying on it as main source of income is a terrible decision to be made. You really need to find a decent job then invest on Bitcoin. The age of faucet free money is already gone since Bitcoin price is already high.
929  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: May 28, 2023, 02:51:59 PM
But lets look on the case of the guy that did bet low odds and profit from cashback which was not banned under t&c - all odds and bets qualify for cashback.

They could tell him this is not welcome and adjust terms but they did steal his money and didnt adjust terms to this day.

This is pure theft.  I wonder what did player wrong here as he played right within his rights and t&c.

Is this how reputable sportsbook should work?

He did abuse bonus - mathematically but no bonus conditions did prohibit this. He risked his money as well. It's not like he wasnt at risk.

I wonder if these positive comments are just from regular bettors only or from RLB holders.

Can you attached the reference to this issue because I don't see any abused on bet with low odds use unless it was stated in the ToS. It's not the player problem if the casino is on disadvantage on the promotion that they set without clear rules to follow.

Confiscating the win or adjusting the ToS just to use it against that player is a red flag but I hope you have a supporting evidence on it since this is a serious allegtion. I hooe that you are just twisting the guy story to get your way to support your own case. I’m reading your case but please make it brief since not all users here have time to read that kind of long narrative.

Seriously, Please attached the reference link on the specific case that you brought up.
930  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▄■▀■▄ 🌟BITVEST.io🌟 💰WIN BY 🔶PLAY 📈INVEST➡🔺🎲🎰🔲 | BET CONTEST ▄■▀■▄ on: May 28, 2023, 07:46:34 AM
What if by tomorrow, the casino website is no longer accessible to everyone, and you have money in there, who are you going to reach out to to know what's going on.?
Is there any guarantee that you can always profit from gambling and withdraw money with your deposits? this you can never guarantee but you will try to always win the gamble. likewise, I try to always gamble at trusted and reputable casino sites to keep my winnings safe. so in that case, if the site I use goes down at any time and I have money there, I'll leave it as my bad luck. because I never keep large amounts of money on gambling sites.

So technically we are risking our money in two ways. First gambling is a risk in itself as we can also lose money. In case we survive and win a bet or a game in gambling, our funds are still at risk if stored on a centralized gambling platform and that platform scam exits somehow.

This is actually what I don’t understand. Why gamblers still choose to play on shady or small casino while there’s a lot of casino that offers a much better benefits and safety at the same time. Gamblers shouldn’t be risking on playing a unstable casino since they are already gambling in the game. The double risk is really not worth it.

This will not happen daily but as a safe side, we should only keep limited funds in gambling site with which we need to play with. Any excessive winning amount or not used gambling funds should be withdrawn to our personal wallets. Of course we can always deposit more money when we know that we have to gamble.

This is the practice that every gambler should master not only because of the risk of casino running away but also to avoid unnecessary losses due to gambling addiction and greediness.
931  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Choosing a cryptocurrency pair on: May 28, 2023, 05:01:35 AM
Hello
I suddenly had a question about the choice of cryptocurrency pairs for trading and I became very interested in how people trade now
I have used a lot of different cryptocurrencies in my life, but bitcoin will always remain the main one for me
Other coins may disappear but bitcoin never will
Share your experiences with different cryptocurrency pairs
Even with a good or bad ending

-Regards

What do you men by pairing? Choosing a fair is based on the liquidity for that specific pool. Traders usually choose better liquidity no matter what is the pair since that will give a less price impact on trading. Currencies with less liquidity typically die so make sure only trade a token with high liquidity to avoid being burned by huge capital. Liquidity dictates everything about the price. The existence of DEX makes the importance of liquidity highlighted since DEX shows the detailed percentage of the liquidity pool unlike CEX that has no data with their liquidity.
932  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✨ BITCASINO - Elevate Your Gameplay 💎 #1 VIP Crypto Casino ✈️ on: May 27, 2023, 04:58:51 PM
Finally, I landed some massive bonuses back to back but this time I tried other slot games just to change my environment. I first try Book of Bitcasino by Spinomenal and manage to win x100 of my bet.

I feel that I'm lucky due to my beginner's luck after a long time of rest on gambling. I try to play next the game that is currently casino boosted which is Ryse of Mighty God by One Touch. At first, I was hesitant since I'm new to this provider but the game design looks cool that makes me play a couple of spins. After 30+ spin I get the bonus round that gives me x272 profit. I thought the game will not gonna end because the board keeps dropping. I thought I will hit max multiplier but it stop giving profit after that massive win.

Overall, I enjoy this weekends gambling session. I'm done for this week.  Cool
933  Economy / Economics / Re: When will we stop living for the weekend? Escaping the 9-5 life. on: May 27, 2023, 02:09:42 PM
Are you satisfied with this way of life, or would you prefer to live a different way? What would you like to change and how? Personally, I'm clueless and not satisfied with the idea of spending the rest of my life like this.

I’m satisfied with my current life cycle that perfectly fit on your description. I think you will only feel empty if you didn’t want your job due to the work load or work space environment.

I’m a professional and doing the job that I study for many years which I dedicated my life. This is what we called career and you will enjoy doing it since you will appreciate what you study to apply in real life scenario. Having 2 days a week for day off is already sufficient to me since it’s too boring in the house without doing my job that I have passion.

I think the problem is the job itself and not the cycle. The cycle is good if you are enjoying it.

have problem with login , what email i can send to for help for login?
Looks like you will be getting a hard time recovering your account because of this site not being active here and maybe even support is not that giving great answers because there are more important issues about not refilling the Hot wallet in which they are never updating .

The support on the website is very responsive since they have a live chat unlike here which they already abandoned the ANN thread due to lightlord inactivity. Following @Bitinity suggestion is the right thing to do for account recovery.

May I ask you what is the intention of logging in bitvest when you can check this thread of multiple problem happening over the years?

but if you still have funds inside then yes you need to use them and try not to deposit more because lightlord seems not interested in growing this site again (at least not for now)

Probably he loss access on his account due to his long absence here in the forum. He is an old player of this casino base on his post history. Maybe he just want to check his account after a long time.

Bitvest doesn’t have any problem anymore. All payout is already processed while the community is still active base on the chatbox.

935  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dubai to construct the world's first bitcoin tower on: May 27, 2023, 11:12:38 AM
I see this is a great commitment that has been shown by Dubai by initiating an Infrastructure in the form of Construction of the world's first bitcoin tower that will come in Dubai marking a significant moment in our history. It embodies the harmonious unification of technology and architecture, increasing the significance of Bitcoin and the limitless potential for human innovation. An extraordinary project that pushes boundaries and its undying passion to embrace the future and as a testament to Bitcoin's incredible journey.

The idea of naming the Tower to Bitcoin is very good to promote Bitcoin. The problem will come once the owner introduced more shitcoin than Bitcoin itself. They are planning to create a DAO and probably shitcoin for governance on the structure. They might focus more into shitcoin rather than Bitcoin and it’s very dangerous when they offer ponzinomics to all the participants on this tower.

Any publicity is good since this is the first of its kind. I’m just worried about the future reputation of this building once the owner start cash out money from investors pocket that will reflect on the brand that they are using which is Bitcoin.
936  Economy / Gambling / Re: ❤️ BitcoinCasino.to - Guide & Reviews - 1400+ Crypto Casinos List on: May 26, 2023, 03:06:07 PM
Only Fortunejack that is on this forum that I saw on your website. There are many gambling sites on this forum like https://livecasino.io and Stake.com but you did not mention them.

Jackbit, Betplay, Winz and Fairspin are also on the list which have an ANN thread here on the forum. They launch their signature campaign too in the past that makes me remember them when browsing all the listed casino.

I’m also surprised why does top casino here in the forum like Stake, Duelbits, Sportbets and so on are not listed while a bunch of unknown casino is on the website. I think this list is useless to post here since forum user can’t appreciate all those casino that doesn’t have ANN thread here due to our nature of being cautious to all unknown casino.
937  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 🖤 #1 VIP Crypto Casino 💠 Come in and explore our new design ✨ on: May 26, 2023, 02:59:25 PM

@Abubhakar @Betwrong I think both of you have a lot of gambling stories and you must have at least the craziest story.
You should share your craziest gambling story in above telegram discussion and maybe your story will be picked as the favorite to win a reward.
Although it is not mentioned what will be the reward, but I guess it will be something nice to grab.

Link to the post/discussion: https://t.me/bitcasino_official/530

Thanks for the mention. I have a lot of extreme high multiplier win story on live game show but I don’t have anymore the screenshot because I always forgot to screenshot when I hit a huge win due to my excitement.

I’m still on my quest to hit my first ever x1000 multiplier on slot games which is very elusive for me no matter how hard I try. I hope my consistency by playing during weekends will make me hit those legendary multiplier someday which I already feel based on my intuition.

Too bad that this sharing of crazy experience event launch before I hit my target.  Angry

The code is not visible on your screenshot btw the promo code is SWEETTWENTY. I just claim the code when I write this post which means it’s still available.  Wink
938  Economy / Gambling / Re: NFTonSPIN.com - Leading Crypto Casino With Get Full Refund If Not Satisfied on: May 25, 2023, 03:42:42 PM
I agree with your point, it seems very suspicious that a user who posted after 3 years has taken the step of depositing money into the site and successfully withdrawn the money back to his wallet. This can be done just to grab the attention of the newbie gamblers who want to get 900% cashback and refund even if they lose.

The site looks like a scam to me because no casino would offer such services if they have to survive for a long time. The service is like traditional Ponzi schemes where a few users will get refunds and cashback and the majority of users will lose everything they put on the site. I recommend everyone to be careful from such sites, the chance of scamming is so high for such sites.

i agree with you and i don't really trust the post made by Skenhtal because he just back from 3 years offline to share a proof withdrawal from this site that offers a crazy cashback of up to 900%.
maybe only a fool will take that cashback promo and then get scammed by them.

I don’t see any harm on the proof that Skenhtal show us since he provide proper evidence to support his claim. His account is also involved on gambling activities before he became inactive last 2020. The chance of him being connected to the casino is very low since this is what he normally doing when he is active.

Also he mention that he just get the money using free cash. There’s no damage will be done on his comment since he didn’t mention that he deposit. Perhaps he is still browsing here without his account login and become interested to try the casino due to the insane bonus.

Still this casino is full of bullshit with that kind of bonus offered even if someone manage to withdraw using free money.
939  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: May 25, 2023, 02:03:43 PM
Live streaming coming to Duelbits is actually a very nice addition to the sportsbook. I do hope and wish that it'll be extended to more countries in the coming months or so but as you all know there's a lot of licenses that have to be taken care of and paid for in order to broadcast live events and sports. Hopeful about the future, though!
I just saw this on Duelbits tweet but I still don’t know the full extent of this feature. Does the livestream available to all players with or without bet on that particular match because some user might just use it for streaming especially if the sports being broadcast is only available on pay per view or subscription.

It will be a great feature if they can maintain this to all sport with special events such as championship or playoffs.
940  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My mistake was making my involvement with Bitcoin public on: May 25, 2023, 01:54:53 PM

Have I said something too harsh? He took this personal and report me to my eldest brother, my brother said I shouldn't mind, he doesn't know that my brother is now also a Bitcoin investor, my mistake was making it public, which my brother never did.

I think so if it’s your uncle. It’s not gonna lessen your masculinity if you will just listen to his advice and don’t argue. I don’t see the benefits on making an argument to an old people that you know exactly how they will not accept any explanation from younger than them. There’s no need to prove the benefits of Bitcoin in that way and you can simply acknowledge his opinion then move on. He will not know if you are still involved or not after that.

If you are still planning to get into Bitcoin, don't post anything about it in family group chat or on your WhatsApp status, this was my biggest mistake.

Who the heck broadcast his involvement on Bitcoin to others. What’s the point of doing that while Bitcoin promotes an anonymity.
