281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The worst situation you're in that you regret that you learn about gambling on: January 21, 2024, 03:28:40 PM

He has no choice but to tell the truth, his friend does not know that he is a gambler so to forgive him for what he did his friend asks him to undergo rehabilitation, he was so embarrassed that he regrets learning about gambling, and thankful that because of his friend he was rehabilitated.

What's a similar case that you're in that made you regret that you learned gambling?

Your contribution is appreciated.

How do you blindly trust your money to a friend, but don't know that he is a gambler? It feels a bit like he didn't know his friend well enough and should have never given his to him. In my opinion friendship and money is not a good mix and I would just avoid such a situation in the first place.

Well to be honest I don’t disclose me of gambler to my friend or even to my family because the culture in my country is harsh in regards with gambling. You will receive too many criticism that even makes you feel like a trash so we have no choice than to make it a secret instead of disclosing it now that gambling can be do online.

It’s not necessary for a friend to know everything because there are things that needs to be kept privately or else your life will be an open book to anyone. I will understand how easy to trust a friend especially if you are with them for a long time.
282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Three gems in my view on: January 20, 2024, 03:31:15 PM
Sui, Arbitrum, optimism I guess you guys are fimilar with there 3 altcoins, which are less then 1year old, launched in 2023. When i track their performance i feel wonder cause they are owning layer-two blockchain and their growth speed is very higher then others good Altcoins. I found these altcoins Valuable for holding. What is your opinion about these altcoins? Are you holding any of these or have any plan to buy?

SUI is a layer 1 project but I doubt that they are better than the old L1 project like ETH and other since there’s other new L1 project like Celestia(TIA) that is being valued more than SUI so I doubt that this a hidden gem.

I agree on Optimism and Arbitrum since they are both L2 project essential for crowded blockchain ecosystem of Ethereum. Their value depends on the Ethereum blockchain demand which is blockbuster so this kind of project is really a gem and can be attached to the success of Ethereum in long run.

Not really much similar case because it doesn’t involve someone money but I manage to lose my hard earned salary that was supposed to be for my quarterly insurance payment that is about to due.

This is equivalent to a month of salary which I wasted on gambling. I borrow money to my girlfriend to cover my due bills and promise to become more responsible when it comes to gambling. This experience teach me a lot to never play the money that you will use for important matters especially it’s nearly due.
284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your doing for now? on: January 20, 2024, 02:47:19 PM
Start of January is like blessing for crypto market. Crypto market start pumping from last few months but in January, it speeds up. Even Good news like Bitcoin ETFs get approved a days ago. But suddenly market gets unpredictable. I mean it went to correction mode, and then get recovered. then dump again And now trying to pump. Situation is confusing. So what are you doing now?

1 Buy Altcoins from Dip
2 Selling altcoins, to buy more cheap during halving
3 Doing DCA Only
4 just watching the market like me

Doing nothing, I already sold all my altcoin before the approval of Bitcoin ETF because I knew that the price will correct once the news is already released. It’s always good to sell the news because that’s what smart traders keep doing.

I’m waiting for the market hit a strong support and bounce back because buying on uncertain market will always make you paranoid to sell your holdings whenever there’s a price action in downturn. Just watch the market for now and start to DCA when everyone is already unloading their holdings. The current price is still doesn’t show that the majority is already selling so better to wait patiently.
285  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think gambling every day is better? on: January 20, 2024, 10:51:12 AM

My question is do you think gambling every day is better? From his reasoning and points of narrations.

I think there is nothing worse than being in gambling every day. Have you heard the saying that a habit is developed in three days? Now imagine what happens to a gambler when he is constantly playing and playing. Gambling will become such a strong addiction for him that he will not let go of his smartphone, and will constantly check the status of his bets and launch the casino application.

I can confirm your statement based on my personal experience. I become hook on gambling before that makes me play regularly in daily basis. I win and lose alternately per day but the bottomline is its consume most of my time that I was supposed to do more important things. I didn’t win in the end and just waste a lot of time so I decided to limit my gambling to weekends so that I can still do my job peacefully.

So far, I have better results now in gambling because I’m not forced to play in daily basis. I can play now patiently because I always considered my game special due to the time that I wait to gamble unlike playing regularly which the game is already dull and just more on thinking about winning.
286  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does it bother you when dealers change during play? on: January 20, 2024, 10:45:52 AM
What are your thoughts on this? Do you mind when dealers in your table change? Or does it not bother you at all?

They have shift on every table and this is pretty common even on a IRL casino. They want to change the atmosphere on the table especially if the dealer is already creating a bad vibes to the player or bad vibes to the casino operator when they are frequently losing against players.

It’s same idea on how you feel irritated when dealer change. Casino doesn’t want players to be on constant winning atmosphere if they are winning. This changes personally doesn’t bothered me since the dealer doesn’t change the outcome of the game but rather the car shoe. Just change the table if you are not comfortable to new dealer because there’s a lot of table option available.
287  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥🔥🔥 BC.GAME - CASINO AND SPORTSBOOK | $1,000 GIVEAWAY LIVE! 🔥🔥🔥 on: January 19, 2024, 03:25:55 PM
It takes a really long time to build trust but it can be destroyed in seconds. About two months ago, when all the issues were popping up and no response was given bu bc.game initially, they lost some their good reputation and some users. They corrected everything and all is going good, but one more hickup like that and it will really hurt them allthough I don’t think there will be any more issues.
If I remember correctly, They are reducing their bonuses and cutting expenses with their marketing by the time the recent issue arise against their casino. Their company is on the adjustment phase that’s why they didn’t react quickly on all the issue.

It’s really a good sign that decided to straighten up their reputation despite there’s a lot of bad review against them even outside the forum due to their bonus adjustments. Surely, there will be more some issue involved this casino but most importantly was they are very active on depending and resolving all the known issues.

Sharing my most recent win on Bitcasino slot games with 0.2$ base bet. This is my biggest win so far. I just recently shared my first x1000+ multiplier that I finally reach after a many months of playing slot but I never expected to hit my next big win few days apart.

Sky is the limit once you finally experience the high multiplier win in Bitcasino!  Cool
Wow you got another big win from the previous Chaos Crew game with a high multiplier now even bigger, it seems that Bitcasino in its 10th anniversary has been generous to you. Grin

Yesterday I also tried the Chaos Crew game but unfortunately I was not as lucky as you free spins are not given here, maybe a little unlucky. LOL

I will try to come again to Bitcasino after the multi bet winnings from Sportsbet and will set aside again here as fun.
I see YOUR winnings are really tantalizing mate.
Congratulations on that win.

Yeah right! I have an idea that Chaos Crew will be generous because it’s the slot being use to claim reward for the Bitcasino Anniversary promotion. I assume that slot games that often use by many players will usually pay more because it receives tons of money from lose bet. This is just my assumption on choosing this game personally. I have no luck on Chaos Crew 2 so stick the basic and manage to win more.

Btw I hit more huge win recently but failed to capture screen shot since I’m playing outdoors.  Will sahre again later this coming weekends once I hit more win. Wish me luck again.
289  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why they need a license if bitcon is not money? on: January 19, 2024, 12:16:41 PM
Without order in the society, there will be chaos and I believe that the licensing that the government does is to establish a kind of order and control to the crypto gambling sector that is becoming more popular and increasing. All lands were created by God but you still need to go through the government to obtain a land, this is because the government still needs to maintain order and be able to control and know whoever owns a land. This is the same with gambling and the licensing that is required of casinos before operation, it is a formal recognition that the government is aware of the casino.

The problem which I find on this license matter is the Curacao license doesn’t even regulate thoroughly all the registered casino. Anyone can get a license by paying the fee and meeting their requirements which is not that hard.

I doubt government will cooperate to Curacao to properly regulate casino that being use by their citizens. This kind of license of Curacao will only make sense to me if they have offices on all the country which their license is applicable because it’s very hard to be in touch with them if you have a problem on a casino with their license while you have a intercontinental distance barrier.

291  Economy / Gambling / Re: From $17 to $37000!!! Craziest Crypto Win in 2023!!!! on: January 18, 2024, 07:04:05 PM
Is that e even possible that they gamble a d keep building up their money on the platform till it attain a particular level, when most people are gambling and loosing and we all know it's easier to loose while gambling than winning, so there's no how they go about it than adding up their additional income to the money used in gambling over time, if they wanted to know if this is true or not, then they should visit their bets history to see the amount spent on bets and the numbers of winning realized with amounts.
There are many gamblers who earn good amount from gambling and they also keep the winning fund. But gamblers make the mistake of overconfidence when they start winning, which causes them to lose the winning funds. So building an account is not easy, it requires proper strategy and ability to control the gambler's own emotions. A losing gambler can also check his bet history to see that if he had refrained from taking bets at a certain time, he would have been a profitable gambler.

House edge will make any gambler lose in the long run before he can build an account to reach that high level of bankroll unless he is only playing skill based game such as poker and sportsbook.

It’s not about being over confidence but rather gambling games are all designed to be with house advantage. So game with luck based plus house edge will surely make every gamblers lose before they can win consistently in long run.
292  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's your thoughts on VIP Programs in casinos? on: January 13, 2024, 01:35:30 PM
1. Is the VIP program important to you when choosing a casino?

Yes, Because it provides bonus that is helpful to balance the house edge of the game in some ways.

Quote
2. Do you use the benefits of the VIP program consciously (i.e. check the requirements for level up, check level up rewards, etc.)?

Yes, I’m not sure why do you need to check it manually but all the VIP rewards is automatically credited to account once requirements hit. Checking the requirements is a must to know what kind of benefits you will get in return for your wager.

Quote
3. What information about the VIP program are you most interested in? What do you pay attention to when deciding whether to participate in the VIP program?

Percentage of rakeback and the amount wager needed to reach a certain VIP with specific bonus.

Quote
4. If you are or have been a high-level VIP at a casino, what are the biggest advantages you have found for yourself?

More rewards ofc

Quote
5. Questions for high-level VIPs. What's the craziest thing a casino has ever done for you?

N/A, I’m not a high roller.  Tongue
293  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Know when to stop on: January 13, 2024, 01:25:55 PM
* Stop when you are not even winning at all, it's not your thing.

* When your losing is weighing you down, stop and restrategize .

These 2 hits right on the spot for me because I always stop gambling if I’m already not enjoying due to the consistent loss over win and also when my losses already makes me out of focus.

This kind of points is indeed great to help up list what’s the signal on when we should stop because I honestly feel and experience all of them when gambling while some of them is I always ignored and still play because of my gambling urge to win more or recover my losses.
294  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is not a means to an end, Do it for fun and don't take it as a job on: January 12, 2024, 03:51:43 PM

Gambling is not a means to an end and their is no guarantee that you must win in the process so just do your prediction and enjoy the fun, if you win, thumbs up for you but if you don't win don't allow it get at you and don't assume you can always win back your money, learn and master the right time to walk away.

Walking away is always the biggest dilemma of most gambler because there’s always an expectation to win more or recover losses on your next bet that’s why many gamblers keep playing while they still have available balance to play.

One thing I learn about gambling is always setting a target profit and stop loss before I stop playing. Having a profit over my target is just a bonus in case I win huge amount on a single jackpot bet. I always immediately stop gambling whenever this condition was triggered. So Yeah, mastering how to walk away is really a must for every gambler because this is the hardest part of the game especially if you still have balance that is lower to your initial deposit.
295  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sports betting arbitrage on: January 12, 2024, 03:40:22 PM
Have been running away from parlay betting for a long time. Parlay is not an optimistic type of bet but a bet that often fails. In 10 choices, 9 wins and 1 loses so the result is 0.

If there are 10 choices, that's still not enough, but if there are 20 to 30 choices in one betting list, it is no longer optimistic but lustful with the multiplication of odds.
Expecting to get rich because of multiplying big odds with a small bet amount but lots of choices is a dream.
Betting on the single bet type is more realistic even though the odds multiplication is small. If you want a lot, place a big bet so that if you win you will be satisfied with the results. Right?

Parlay offers a cashout feature which will be helpful to secure profit on higher odds. Sometimes parlay is good compared to straight bets since it boos the odds significantly while you can have the cashout feature in case most of your bets resulted to win while you are already satisfied on your current cashout profit. You can have more profit on parlays than straight bet with same result but of course this involves more risk though.

I’m not a frequent sports bettor but I always do 2 match parlay instead of single bets using small amount to have a boost on my odds given that I’m confident on my bet result.
296  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin ETF Approval; Price dumps, what Next? on: January 12, 2024, 01:47:40 PM
As the title suggests, we have all been waiting for this period for a long time, and it has finally here, yet the price of BTC remains low despite the high spot ETF Bitcoin trading volume. We were led to expect that the price would increase upon SEC approval, but the contrary is now happening.  What now?

What now? Surely price will correct heavily since many seasonal trader just purchased due to the expectation that Bitcoin will pump once ETF approved. The price pump but not as high as expected so slowly this seasonal trader will take profit and probably just wait for another re-entry for the Bitcoin Halving event pump.

SEC kinda kill the hype after the fake news Bitcoin approval on their social media while Bitcoin ETF was supposed to be approved on the other day. I believe Bitcoin should reach 50K area if there’s no epic fake announcement.

Good evening everyone! I hope all of you is having a good time because I finally hit my dream biggest win of x1000+ multiplier! I manage to hit x1500 multiplier on Chaos Crew slot game by Hacksaw. I hit this after a couple spin manually then random bonus buy of worth 25.8$ for 0.2$ base bet. This is my biggest win so far on slot games since I start this journey on Bitcasino.  Shocked
Congratulations on that big win. In this new year, you get a lot of luck playing slots. I see you have had many wins which have given you a lot of money.

Remember always to gamble responsibly and don't gamble excessively. Don't be greedy for more wins. Stay safe and stay cool Grin

I haven't started playing slots again at the beginning of this year. At the beginning of this year, there were several pending needs so I had to re-arrange the allocation of money. I also want to be able to play slots like you. I also want to win hahaha.

Yeah, I manage to become lucky this year on slot games maybe this due to my New Year’s Resolution of being more positive on slot games to hit more multipliers. Don’t worry, I’m always in control to my game since I’m only depositing money which I can afford to lose in fact only below 100$ per week is my target budget allocation for gambling to avoid too much greediness.

I will try to share more next week if I became lucky again. For the meantime I’m sipping my cool drinks on my vacation tour whoch I acquired through my winnings.  Cheesy

@serjent05 I was inspired to your huge win on Octoplay slot games so I decided to give it a try. I’m not expecting anything to win big but after a couple spin I manage to x500+ multiplier. I play the Star Kingdom of Octoplay game provider since this game is what I’m familiar.

I manage to hit a couple of juicy multiplier too along the way that makes my initial 79$ deposit to 240$ which is x3. I can sleep tight tonight.  Cheesy
