21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BNB reached $200 on: February 23, 2021, 03:44:45 AM
We don't know. Binance may still go up or not. For now Binance is going up because it gets to share the spotlight once enjoyed solely by Ethereum. Now the Ethereum network is almost always congested. It is understood because a lot of people are using Ethereum.

Binance which is offering an alternative to those who are financially hurt by the high fees of Ethereum has become the main alternative. But once the Ethereum development will put an end to the high fees, I think the Binance network will become less popular.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Smart chain ( BSC) VS Ethereum (ERC-20) on: February 23, 2021, 02:40:46 AM
The only advantage of BSC network is it has low fee which is quite efficient to some users compared to eth blockchain. But in terms application, we can see the eth network as truly a defi ecosystem where not just farming, loan and other types of defi classification can be found. But I give CZ a thumbs up for a well job done on making the BSC network grow like fire. Well that's good that he can maintain pace on a defi ecosystem trending.

CZ really can take momentum of many traders anger because of the high gas fee issue.
I think BSC will still be DeFi platform alternative until Ethereum resolve the high gas fee issue.

I agree with both of you. The BSC network takes momentum from the frustration of the people out of the Ethereum network. But I think it would have been a completely different story had the Ethereum network succeeded earlier in addressing the problems with fees. The BSC network got its value and popularity because of Ethereum's failure. This might change though once the Ethereum network has finally solved the high fees problem.

The obly problem I see in Ethereum blockchain is its expensive gas fee. It is not friendly for microtransactions. I have this one project which I supported almost a few years back, now they will have to rebrand and make a swap. The fees will be more expensive than the current value of the coin I am holdong which makes me really feel bad. I hope that ETH v2.0 will solve this problem or other chains will surely take over their place in the near future.

That is also the only problem I see with Ethereum. Overall Ethereum is one great of a crypto project. It is just right that Ethereum is Bitcoin's silver. Both Bitcoin and Ethereum have made cryptocurrency what it is today. Of course Bitcoin is the one and only beginning of everything and Ethereum just extended the borders of crypto. But look at both of them. They have all very high fees. Does it mean they are a failure? Of course not.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Top Cryptocurrency Projects to Watch Out for in 2021 on: February 22, 2021, 02:45:36 AM
The bull has been happening until now. If you were to invest your hard-earned money in a crypto bull run, you don't have to do it in a coin with high risk. If there is a bull run, the first coin that will lead it will be Bitcoin and nothing else. The altcoins may also benefit from a crypto bull run but it is expected that if this happens, the leaders would be the top altcoins such as Ethereum. So find nothing else but the top coins. They will never fail you in a crypto bull run.

25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Short term solid projects? on: February 21, 2021, 01:18:23 AM
Hey, what would you recommend to buy and keep for 6 months? I have BTC, ETH, Dash, Monero, Litecoin, Tezos.

Which altcoins do you recommend for few months?

If you don't want to just add more funds on those coins that you mentioned, which are all very solid and really worth investing by the way, then you can pick a few more from the top list. But if you think that these coins are already growing high in prices, then I suggest that you just add more on BTC, ETH, Dash, Monero, and Litecoin rather than look for a pretty unknown coin from the bottom list which was left out during the recent crypto rally. It is full of risk.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Smart chain ( BSC) VS Ethereum (ERC-20) on: February 21, 2021, 12:30:22 AM
I agree on this. Ethereum has done so much than Binance. Binance is more like following the footsteps of Ethereum. In terms of potential, Ethereum has so much to offer than Binance. Ethereum has explored and discovered much on its own. Ethereum has not gone to the top copying other projects or focusing on what other projects are weaker or slower.

But it is also true that with the rising Ethereum fees you cannot blame the people if some of them are really looking for an alternative. And they found Binance. So Ethereum needs to address this issue because it causes some supporters to use other options.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BINANCE COIN (BNB) as 3rd BIGGEST COIN right now!!!! on: February 19, 2021, 02:31:03 AM
Yeah it's very nice news, and lucky for those who hold BNB right now, They said the predicted highest price will on 500$ This could be the next ETH? Grin

It is currently ranked 4th.

Stop that next ETH thing. Binance (BNB) is Binance (BNB) and Ethereum (ETH) is Ethereum (ETH). They are different. That next ETH, next BTC, etc are lines used by so many failed projects. Most of them are even scams.

Projects should succeed based on their own credentials, products, innovations, and development.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk Profited $2.2B Pumping DogeCoin: The blockchain analysis on: February 19, 2021, 02:00:04 AM
This is possible but until a solid proof is submitted this is nothing but pure guess and speculation. Elon could actually have made money out of his Doge memes on twitter. But it seems it was purely out of fun that he made those. I am not sure of this either. I could be wrong or right just like you.

What we can be sure of is that many must have fallen for his meme. Lucky for those who made profit but not for those who bought during the pump.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We should not buy outdated and overvalued coins on: February 18, 2021, 03:04:42 AM
I agree. The first thing to consider in buying an altcoin is whether its project is active in its development or not. There are projects which are all air and noise but no real development. Some projects are only promoted but there is no actual innovative product that would be useful in real life. There are also projects which are nothing but mere copycats or fork and are only existing because their origin is very solid.

Projects which are always upgrading and discovering new developments are always the ones with most potential. Ethereum is still the one who leads.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why only tron missed the bull this time. on: February 18, 2021, 02:26:27 AM
The reason is simple. Tron is not as solid as the coins you mentioned. Ethereum, Polkadot, and Cardano are really great projects which have made big contributions. Binance is also getting stronger. It has grown in purpose and uses. Ethereum, being the leader of all altcoins, have grown so high in fees that is why the other mentioned projects are rising. But Tron cannot compete with them.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: USDT | TUSD | BUSD | USDC - What are the differences? on: February 17, 2021, 02:33:59 AM
They are all basically the same. They only differ because they belong to different projects or companies and are running on different networks. But in general you can just choose any of them. USDT was the earliest of them all and is now the most popular also, with the highest volume. But it is also the most controversial because of the claims that it is not actually backed by real USD. Other than those, they are of the same feather.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm Investing in $BAT on: February 17, 2021, 01:59:28 AM
I personally think BAT has a great future. The project, which was started years ago, much much earlier than many altcoins, is still strong until now. I think Brave browser users are still rising in numbers.

BAT is not as cheap as years ago but I think it will still have a good growth potential. Its ATH was almost a dollar. The price right now is just around half of it.

If you invest in it, just be patient. This is for long term.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP Rally Starts Today! on: February 16, 2021, 03:04:09 AM
There is no doubt that the XRP community is so big, after XRP got a lot of trouble and finally some XRP supporters wanted to make the XRP price pump.
Even some XRP investors in Japan are still optimistic about the future of XRP, no wonder XRP prices are currently showing a positive trend. Even so,
I am still not interested in investing in XRP before there is a settlement regarding the XRP problem with the SEC.

As per observations the SEC issue already started since last month and it made price drop so low during that time. This has made some shady idea about it so? Its all up to us if we ride with this deceptions, we will see until the end what's going to happen. What's important right now is to hold while you're not having enough money to invest, because you might lose if you trade immediately due to bad news.

I think the SEC issue with XRP is not yet finally decided until now. So there is still no guarantee that Ripple and its token XRP are already off the hook of the powerful American agency. But if I were a holder of a big XRP bag and have already made a big profit out of it, I think it is safe to just convert majority of it into Bitcoin or Ethereum. This is to make sure that profit is already made. We do not know what will happen to Ripple and XRP once the SEC would win the case. That's a lot of risk.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When did you learn about crypto, and how fast did you get comfortable with it? on: February 16, 2021, 02:23:54 AM
I learned about crypto in 2016 from my friends who are already familiar with it. At first everything was too complicated for me I felt lazy doing the step by step instruction on how to do my first purchase, how to send it to another wallet, how to create a buy order, etc. Those are the first steps I learned about crypto. And then it was only later on when I got really interested of what more crypto can offer.
35  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbie traders - Learn from my mistakes on: February 15, 2021, 02:52:25 AM
Serious day trading is only for those who are serious enough to face the tough trading training and studying. If you cannot survive the learning process, you should just trade occasionally and with smaller funds. But if you are determined enough to understand the likes of MA, EMA, WMA, KJD, MACD, and many other patterns and technical analysis tools as mentioned, then you can get on to it more often and with a larger fund. But you will still start small and slow.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trade altcoins/BTC pairs? If yes, under which conditions? on: February 15, 2021, 02:08:47 AM
Yes, it is more difficult of course. With BTC-USDT pair, you don't have to mind the value of the other because it is stable. So you only have one side to be very careful about. With altcoin-BTC pair, you will be more focused because both prices are moving up and down. But I think the priority consideration with trades with altcoin-BTC is that you should forget about the dollar price. Since you are trading altcoin-BTC, your goal is to increase your altcoin or BTC, most probably your BTC.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PoW vs PoS: is it matter in terms of coin's value? on: February 14, 2021, 02:43:41 AM
It makes sense to me. But that does not mean it totally makes PoS a worthless approach. PoW rationale is full of sense as with PoS rationale. Both makes sense to me. They have different approaches. Both have pros and cons. It does not matter to me. What matters is that a project has a support from the people. So it will be regardless of whether the coin is using PoW or PoS. The point is that the coin has actual use in real life. The most important thing is that it is serving a noble purpose.

Bitcoin and Ethereum are PoW and PoS, respectively but both are amazing.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ether vs bitcoin on: February 14, 2021, 02:09:56 AM
As bitcoin all time high battling to be $ 49000 , ether is also all time high in $1850

But the price of Ethereum (ETH) is also being pushed by the price rise of Bitcoin itself so Ethereum's (ETH) price increase is not only due to Ethereum (ETH) itself but also to Bitcoin. Bitcoin's price increase is based on USD alone but Ethereum's (ETH) price increase is based on its Bitcoin price as well as USD price. Sometimes Ethereum (ETH) is increasing in USD but actually decreasing in BTC.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The future of AME on: February 13, 2021, 02:57:52 AM
If a certain project which has not yet reached success cannot even provide a decent and courteous response to its client, how could we expect for it to even more forward?

Listing is not the tool for a project's success. A project can have its token listed anywhere but the demand would still be low.

There seems to be nothing special with AME anyway.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: A hidden gem on cryptocurrency? Checkthis out! It was Rank 400+ Jump to Rank 151 on: February 13, 2021, 02:13:05 AM
After I analyzed DENT's price movements, I didn't see DENT as a promising project that could provide substantial profits in the future. Because
since reaching the ATH price in 2018, until now it is still very far from the ATH price. So it's too risky to invest in DENT. I think it's safer investing
in the top 10 altcoins, because it is clear that the price movement is very significant and it is proven that it has provided quite a large profit for
its holders.

It is too risky if you don't have a solid basis on when to enter and exit. Dent is only good for short term profit. This is only perfect for a quick money. But it is hard to achieve that perfect timing. It might help if you gather very big development prior to its release into the public.

But if you are planning to invest for a long term or if you want to hodl an altcoin, you should avoid Dent and stick to the likes of Ethereum.
