201  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I got scammed by whatsapp contact and exchange on: December 23, 2023, 01:12:14 PM
I used the trc20 scanner and followed my last deposit (17150$).
Do you use oklink explorer? All 4 txids of your deposit were sent to this address TBsLxV5.....wEeFQ (belongs to the scammer), right? Just track the destination of the tx(s) output from that address, one of which is the address I posted earlier.

This tracking does require special skills and some help from intelligence resources, I also wouldn't say the destination addresses belongs to this scammer.

But i dont see a connection to kucoin?
Try this tool (free resource) https://www.oklink.com/chaintelligence/compliance-tools >> select "Address analysis">> paste the scammer's address >> click "analyze".
202  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I got scammed by whatsapp contact and exchange on: December 23, 2023, 11:15:58 AM
How does the tracking work?
You have to enter the txid in chain explorers like tronscan.org or (more sophisticated) oklink.com and trace until you find the transaction to a centralized service address that enforces KYC. Then you or your legal representative can contact the company to cooperatively identify the account owner.

Like a transaction to this address TS4.....H69 that end up at the kucoin deposit address https://www.oklink.com/trx/tx/a9db593835e3e2be70b1357499efb83d6f4f8db0ef57ade1cdb31274f79b19be
203  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CENTRAL BANK OF NIGERIA LIFT THE BAN ON CRYPTOCURRENCY IN NIGERIA on: December 23, 2023, 11:04:22 AM
Well, it's not easy to remove the stems of roses, it's better to let them grow beautifully and take advantage of their fragrance. Fortunately, banks are starting to realize this before the growth of bitcoin users gets out of control underground.
204  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I got scammed by whatsapp contact and exchange on: December 23, 2023, 06:52:17 AM
We are talking right now and "making a plan" together to get the money back. By depositing more money. For sure i will not do that, but i want to keep the contact thinking of that, to keep the communication ongoing.
If you're still connected to that contact and hoping to find something to investigate, I don't think you should publish this scammer's address in the OP. So they don't realize that they're being talked about in a public place and you have the next "plan".
I just googled for this address, this thread is the only search result. Don't know how long Google's index will keep it
205  Other / Off-topic / Re: Crypto is a scam on: December 22, 2023, 05:46:31 PM
The gap will always exist even without crypto. Remember that crypto can't change your financial level by itself. It only helps you break boundaries if you're looking for opportunities in the wider business space. Again, you have to try to find those opportunities yourself.
206  Other / Meta / Re: Signature Campaigns in the Service Board on: December 22, 2023, 09:51:03 AM
Now to my question: Fees have been going wild lately and I've already seen some campaigns switch to payments over other networks while still remaining in the Bitcoin Service board (and advertising paying in BTC). Am I to assume this is alright? I've been paying roughly $200/week per campaign in fees for the last few weeks and would much rather pay less as long as nothing would change as to where I can post campaigns and contests.
I think there is no need to move for campaigns that are already running and have previously paid in bitcoin as a routine. If it is new campaigns, then it should be on the altcoins board. Unless you're in a condition which you able pay participants in bitcoin (as that is the original initiative), you can move it to the services board at that time.
207  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Calculating Profit or Loss on: December 22, 2023, 06:04:58 AM
Looks like @op has finished his "homemade" portfolio tracker. G-sheets does allow you to customize the portfolio display that you want in such a way. And I prefer to use the portfolio API of any price aggregator site that provides as a reference source, this can display an accurate portfolio based on current prices rather than changing it manually.
208  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Argentina has approved Bitcoin as their "official" currency. on: December 22, 2023, 04:29:17 AM
This isn't complete approval, is it, like Salvador adopting it for transactions in general?
Mentioning the term "agreeing to the contract" can be in specific transactions, I think it is only in large amounts for certain people. Or not directly using bitcoin, just advantaging its value (whatever way).
209  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: address reuse within Electrum on: December 22, 2023, 03:24:55 AM
That is unlikely to happen and there is no such onchain wallet. You must have input tx(s) first before creating output tx(s). Even though the change addresses in Electrum are unified because they're generated from 1 seed phrase, that doesn't mean they are technically merged. They have their own private keys and can't sign tx(s) on another Bitcoin address that they don't own.
210  Economy / Economics / Re: Setting up financial structures before going into the family way on: December 21, 2023, 04:51:35 PM
I remembered the US tradition in their love life, where a couple can live together before continuing to get married. It seems like they really live life like a family, including managing finances that meet their collective needs.
I don't know whether it is actually effective in reducing the divorce rate (if breaking up at such a time is not considered a divorce).
211  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Exodus+n.exchange on: December 21, 2023, 04:15:05 PM
The website of the company n.exchange does not contain legal information about the company, so I had to resort to the help of lawyers and find this information to file a claim against them.
If you go to the "Partners" page then click on Bestchange logo, and bingo... you will be directed to the Yoa exchanger review.
Next go to that exchange, and also look at "Partners", they are both similar. Don't miss the footer to see company information.

212  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You lose more when you over trade on: December 21, 2023, 03:07:19 PM
Excessive trading I think is rare, even beginners know that ideal trading is using analysis and that will make one's trading more organized both in terms of capital and time.
Let's say someone without that kind of knowledge (relying only on luck), I think they would prefer gambling with big money rather than trading where the chance of luck is greater.
213  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Foundation of Bitcoin Market on: December 21, 2023, 02:21:48 AM
Just chekced that thread, I think it was the second exchange to actually do real trading, activated after almost 3 months in trading simulation mode. Check out this post, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=20.msg726#msg726
The first Bitcoin price determination on the exchange was based on the exchange owned by @NewLibertyStandart.
214  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Arbitrage as Business on: December 20, 2023, 12:26:45 PM
what could be some of these countries that are in high demand of Bitcoin or USDt & how can we leverage on arbitrage opportunities?
Try looking for more information about "Kimchi Premium"[1], that is the term for the South Korean market which offers higher prices than globally. I don't know whether this phenomenon still applies today, and also whether non-natives can access exchanges that have exclusive prices and then allow you to transfer cryptos in and out.

215  Economy / Economics / Re: Learn to use DEBT in a proper way to create asset on: December 20, 2023, 09:05:22 AM
How many new businesspeople think of debt as a path to greater opportunity? IInstead they think it is the ultimate solution to their financial collapse. Well, because of the old paradigm that debt is the beginning of disaster, they will avoid it as much as possible while they can build a business with existing capital, or not start a business at all rather than taking on debt.
216  Economy / Speculation / Re: A big buying opportunity might be on the horizon on: December 20, 2023, 08:02:34 AM
And seriously, is there no longer the potential for inflow of funds from (combined) all retail users throughout the world so that we can only rely on funds managed by large institutions to touch the new ATH price?
Meanwhile, what we see is that funds from various failed atlcoins have the potential to contribute several portions of bitcoin's marketcap (remember, bitcoin is believed to be safe heaven). Not to mention, I'm not sure that the millionaire NFT sellers of the past have fully entered the Ordinal market.
217  Economy / Exchanges / Re: PSA: Vulnerability found in OKX iOS app on: December 20, 2023, 07:25:59 AM
It has not been specifically explained in what direction the vulnerability is at risk. Afaik, OKEx combines their web3 wallet (self-custody) and exchange software in one app with separate tabs and different access methods.
I'm also not an iOS user, from my experience using the app over the last few months, update requests are more frequent than other platform wallets I've used.
218  Other / Meta / Re: How easy is it to sell an account? on: December 19, 2023, 11:38:27 AM
Is there a way to safely buy/sell accounts?
Safe from whom, dishonest buyers/sellers? There is no guaranteed way, at least use escrow, that is if someone is willing.
Safe from investigation? Maybe, once purchased, don't use that account ever.
Most people who know how this forum works, they wouldn't consider buying an account. It's like buying an activated time bomb.
219  Economy / Economics / Re: How to gain money on: December 19, 2023, 07:55:56 AM
Without:
~... trading.
Any form of activity that makes money is trading, even if you sell your services. Please narrow the scope of the question first, you should briefly tell the background, or anything that gives the respondent a clue. You're from the Netherlands, right? I suddenly thought about several groups of buskers in public places, it seems like it's worth trying.
220  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Dappradar.cash is scam copy of dappradar.com on: December 19, 2023, 07:49:04 AM
When I tried to connect metamask with wallet that had no funds I got the error message that I need to connect with more active wallet
After connecting with the second wallet, the website tried to get me to sign the transaction which would allow them to steal some of my Ethereum tokens.
Next time, don't explore that far if you don't know how malicious scripts are planted on these kinds of phishing sites. For me, it didn't take too long to identify that this is a scam, the site only has 1 page to airdrop. A few moments after the page loads, you're asked to connect your wallet which isn't your intention.
