1141  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Paxful - Deposits are not being credited on: April 02, 2023, 03:19:41 PM
Their technical issues seem to have been going on for days now, since I found another complaint on another board[1]. But on their twitter account ridiculously[2], support instead reviews and handles user case by case via DM which I'm not even sure twitter support has the capacity to fix that.

1142  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitget exchange SMS code receive issue on: April 02, 2023, 01:48:33 PM
Just wanted to share a story with the SMS verification problem I had a few months ago (not exchange) that even support couldn't help because the problem was actually on my side. Make sure that you're not blacklisting sms from bitget, maybe you forget you did it.
1143  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you consider Bitcoin the best asset in the world? on: April 01, 2023, 02:54:39 PM
My version of the best asset is a business that runs with consistent income.
The best assets should not only be viewed in terms of value growth, while you also run the risk of losing ownership. In its 1 decade journey, bitcoin has experienced pros and cons which prove that it isn't ideal aset for certain people.
1144  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Volatility on: April 01, 2023, 04:55:22 AM
Price tracker sites, visible trading activity (spot market, futures), they cause real visible volatility.

I actually can't expect the volatility to decrease, because basically bitcoin supply is only concentrated to a few centralized wallets and there aren't as many bitcoin users as revealed in various statistics and surveys. Someone who has an interest and "power" can expect that any price will change in a short time, because it really only needs to add a few digits when bitcoin is traded on a centralized service.
1145  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How much you have earned through crypto referral on: April 01, 2023, 04:38:09 AM
Unfortunately, no matter how good the efforts of someone who isn't an influencer and marketer in general can only take up no more than 5% of the internet user market. I have no more ideas to beat them, indeed banners on personal sites, links in social media bios, url shorteners, and create content on videoshorts platforms.
1146  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you profitable? on: April 01, 2023, 04:09:58 AM
If you ask "influencers" how profitable it is, yeah they're like getting free money by giving lesson packages that are actually widely shared on the internet.
Trading journal? yeah they share it in a group that only paid followers can access. But never knowing whether their journal is credible or just using "other influencer" journals, because the fact is that the group is just a bunch of stupid people who are proud to be members of what they call "VIP".
1147  Other / Meta / Re: New CAPTCHA now required before posting on: April 01, 2023, 03:39:31 AM
And I have to come back like a child to be accepted in this forum?
damn you, theymos.
Been playing for 1 hour and still not solved. Maybe I need to spend all day ignoring captchas even if I have to scroll 1 more down.
1148  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Guildelines on binance transaction on: March 31, 2023, 04:35:44 PM
But the charge rate is very high for sending of BTC
That is the consequence of withdrawing bitcoins from the exchange, those fees are determined by the exchange. And there is no idea of reducing the fee, the only thing is you have to find a trusted trader outside the platform who is willing to trade Bitcoin on binance for bitcoin on-chain.
1149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What have you got rid of to accumulate Bitcoin on: March 30, 2023, 02:46:33 PM
Fine, I'll tell my slightly different version.

I later found out that I got more graphic design work in this space, so I needed a higher editing armors spec. The only thing I've gotten rid of is an old laptop turned into a custom PC by spending most of my bitcoins, that was in 2019. I didn't lose points accumulating bitcoins, and didn't have to sacrifice anything to lose. I buy bitcoins with work.
1150  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin go towards DeFi primarily, possibility of centralization begins on: March 30, 2023, 02:11:29 PM
I want to ask a question "Will Smart Contract can be existed on Proof-of-Work network and still be decentralized?"
Yes and you've given the reference example about ETH PoW version (which imo used to be more decentralized than its PoS version), then it is possible for bitcoin too.

Quote
In the past we have Ethereum network that is PoW and has smart contract. However it is centralized because of its pre-mined coins for their ICO.
it is more aimed at monopoly and, not the cause of being centralized.

Quote
Will Bitcoin be able to do the same because it did not have any ICO? Probably yes but it should be answered by senior Bitcoin core developers.
It could be by changing the bitcoin blockchain protocol as a whole (hardfork). ICO is actually not needed at all.
1151  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Early Profit can be misleading. on: March 30, 2023, 09:15:00 AM
I don't understand what this has to do with misleading profits, nowbie traders are never even limited to doing their evaluations, and changes to strategy will be made when it's time and it's necessary. I personally won't switch to another strategy or change anything as long as the current one still provides consistent profits.
1152  Other / Meta / Re: Is Possible to withdraw report to moderator? on: March 30, 2023, 08:06:38 AM
I know there isn't button to do that, but is possible in the future the forum have that feature?
Because I've mistakenly reported my post to a moderator by accident.
If you're worried that it will be an accurate report, just make another report with the reasons for withdrawing the previous report. I don't know if the results will be effective, at least this is what only you can do.

Quote
So far, I reported 3 posts with 100% accuracy, 1 of the 3 reported is my post.  I don't know how that 100% comes, because my post i did report some time ago, maybe still be unhandled or hasn't been seen by a moderator. (It might also a bug percent calculation)
Even if you report your own post and it is marked as good, it will count towards accuracy.
1153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did Laszlo Hanyecz see it as 10,000 BTC or as $41? on: March 30, 2023, 06:26:04 AM
Laszlo offers 10k bitcoins to everyone who manages to deliver pizzas to his address by any means, obviously he values 10k btc for more than the price of a pizza in the store.
For a deeper message, he just wanted to address his interest in paying with bitcoin, maybe he was curious about how acceptable bitcoin was at the time.
1154  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Why use Bitcoin mixers? on: March 29, 2023, 08:58:36 AM
Electrum wallet has a number of unused addresses that one can use. Would I achieve the same result if I were to move the bitcoins through these addresses on my Electrum wallet as opposed to using a mixer?
The electrum wallet doesn't have "unused" addresses, if it does it was none other than previously generated/imported by you. So, to achieve the goal as mixers do, it will be nowhere near the same result. In the way you propose, i think you better take advantage of the (Non-Kyced)exchange's hot wallet.
1155  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Let's not be too judgemental about CZ (Binance) on: March 29, 2023, 07:59:45 AM
I very much agree with the reason why this thread was created because if I am forced to choose a side between the government regulators and Binance, I will choose Binance.

In the crypto space we arn't encouraged to trust anyone. Those who are at odds are fighting for their own interests, rarely based on the truth. In this business space, anyone can hide the facts as much as possible and derail it. They would only start feuding when it was no longer mutually beneficial.

But I agree that "don't be too judgmental on either side". If you aren't involved, just comment as needed as if you were watching a show. Cool
1156  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Yet another saga looming to hit bitcoin. on: March 29, 2023, 07:12:44 AM
I noticed that the news affected bitcoin price as it dropped below $27000 but gradually picked up back above $27000.  So far from my experience I have had on this space, cases like this tends to affect bitcoin as binance is the world leading Crypto exchange and also have influence over the Crypto community and market.
This will only add another point to dispel the trust in existing centralized services, bitcoin has become used to being hit by regulations harder than this one. Of course, bitcoin will however be impacted in terms of price as some people who normally have an interest in volatility only through centralized exchanges will become concerned.
1157  Economy / Economics / Re: Is there a place in the world you could live like a king via sig campaigns? on: March 29, 2023, 06:07:52 AM
- More and more students are graduating every year, but the problem is that job opportunities are not increasing, logically it has also been thought that there must be a lot of unemployment that will arise.
- They don't have a backup plan, not too flexible to welcome other types of job opportunities that are actually wide open. If they don't get their target job this year, they will come back the next year and so on.

- They are also somewhat refusing to accept menial types of work because what they adjust is their educational degree.

Quote
Indeed, if the problem of food in Indonesia is very easy to find because the majority of the work is farmers, but if only young people in Indonesia want to farm, surely the number of unemployed will decrease, but most are proud and don't want to.
So that's what I wanna say, Indonesia was once famous as an agricultural country. However, this title will shift if the next generation only pursues jobs in neat uniforms.
1158  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Problems shared problem solve! on: March 29, 2023, 04:57:40 AM
Anyway, looking at the trading history will answer that.
I'm reminded of "reduced only" advanced orders in futures trading which are inactive by default, so my question is do you close the position against the previous order with a larger amount to reduce the rest of your wallet balance?
1159  Other / Meta / Re: I bought a yacht thanks to bitcoin. on: March 28, 2023, 04:37:57 PM
Just a complement to the forum, those of you who are too technical sometimes need a refresher with some bullshit intermezzo. Just respond as needed, I usually throw in a few questions if the story sticks out of my mind.

just like a member who claims to sell his wife's jewelry to buy bitcoin but doesn't give a continuation about it lol.
Hahaa, that one. Only bitcoin can make people do crazy things within the family circle.
