801  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will you sell...next bull run? on: July 13, 2023, 02:11:29 PM
I have targets in my currency for the next bullrun, that's all I need to buy something. Also, currently I'm accumulating a few share of signature payouts each week, this should gradually help lower my expected ATH target.
If I had to guess, the next ATH should go to at least $170k as 2.5x of $68k. Previously $68k was 3.4x of $20k. Tongue
802  Economy / Reputation / Re: Why don't we ban users like FmaTR on this forum? on: July 13, 2023, 02:01:06 PM
Are you commenting without reading my explanations? I already stated that users come from GOOGLE. If you've looked at the screenshots, you've seen it. I ask the customer where did you find me. I want feedback to this platform from those who say btctalk. Of course, I don't want feedback here if it comes from the other platform. I think the topic is too long, I can't waste any more of my time. Think twice before slandering someone. Do not talk on assumptions about a subject you do not know or are not sure about.

We've only learned a lot from existing spammers tagged with single reviews like in your thread. Well, whether it's a customer-initiated review or you requested them or actually you did it yourself, I haven't seen any negative reviews so far. And thankfully it's not a self-moderate thread.
I think it's good to see how far the reviews will gather, the trigger is when you get the first bad review then since then the situation will be worse than this one.
I almost wrote bad about your service yesterday, luckily you took care of replying to this thread.
803  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: [List] Wallet Software Discussion on: July 13, 2023, 01:51:22 AM
Not for native bitcoin,
Well, that doesn't fall into the bitcoin wallet category no matter how hard you try to explain its advantages. So, keep that name out of the discussion.

What I am trying to say is that these old devices, and because of their use or neglect for long periods, the possibility of failure in them is higher than the wallets of traditional devices, and therefore you either need to use a new phone, which means a greater cost, or re-install the wallet every time because of the high probability of failure of the old devices. I suspect that it is easy to convert new devices to airgapped because these devices are deeply designed to facilitate Internet connection and calls.
Your new phone system may freeze, latest OS version errors affecting hardware components etc. Actually, this is only a small concern compared to the majority of cases of damage to the device that the users themselves did. However, mobile devices aren't ideal for cold storage because of their intensity and interval of use.
804  Economy / Exchanges / Re: You are probably paying more to get your Bitcoin on: July 12, 2023, 01:28:27 PM
How much are you been charged to buy coins through those wallets?
You should do some research on the wallet, especially what services they collaborate with to process payments. Wallets that integrate 2p2 exchanges usually work with a centralized service that charges a flat rate or a percentage for fiat, not network based. Also service fees are sometimes not stated explicitly, but accumulate in what they call "transaction" fees.

Btw, what wallet are you talking about?
805  Economy / Economics / Re: Things you should know about Money mindset on: July 12, 2023, 04:39:02 AM
But this requires some moral restraint, the fact is that without good skills and knowledge people will get nothing legally and in the end only choose the wrong path. I mean, excessive dedication with an irregular mindset can also turn someone into a criminal.
Throughout my life, I can draw conclusions that with crypto people have more chances to lose wealth with no hope of recovering it.
806  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin according to Satoshi is digital money then why call it investment. on: July 12, 2023, 04:18:58 AM
Now I ask how come it deviated to being an investment?

Because gradually people can't deny that bitcoin meets the criteria as an investment asset, and is proven by several success stories of bitcoiners in their investment journey. Even if you personally think otherwise, it's actually not a problem, basically bitcoin still doesn't violate the principle of being a payment instrument for anyone who thinks it's valuable.
807  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: I got scammed by Freewallet.org for 120000 USDT TRC20. SCAM alert!  Don't use th on: July 12, 2023, 03:47:50 AM
This is their default way of stealing customer money plus gaining important identities. Out of all the cases I've read about freezes, they almost all end up never coming back with a nice update even after doing all the support instructions. Just hope, you have good luck this time.
808  Economy / Reputation / Re: Someone Loan using My Account on: July 12, 2023, 03:31:37 AM
Is there any chance that this 24 hours rules might implement in the lending section not only for me but for the sake of this possible case scenario?
You'll have to ask theymos, see: this topic.
Someone should upvote it to the Meta board, I think this proposal is also not limited to all business boards: Services, Lendings, Currency Exchange, Goods, etc.
This incident was enough to tell me the importance of using multiple notification bots, excluding lendings boards, and finding ways to gain access to accounts in an emergency.
809  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Doubts about buying digital currency, any suggestions? on: July 11, 2023, 04:18:23 PM
Moreover, if you prioritize speed along with security,
An asset will only be "safe" if it is under your own control for long term storage, CEX is only recommended for active trading.

Quote
CEXs execute transactions much faster. In my opinion, the concerns about CEXs can be addressed if they comply with regulatory bodies. Once they do so, everything should return to normal.
Yes, more precisely executing the order, but for their withdrawal it may take longer if suddenly they ask you for additional verification requirements.
810  Economy / Economics / Re: Invest in Marketing on: July 11, 2023, 03:57:12 PM
The art of marketing today is limitless where you can put an implicit impression on even the smallest space wherever people congregate and even you can not need to contact a marketing firm. And there are also stupid forms of marketing that actually violate morale for the sake of brand visibility, for example "it was announced that the founder of a certain company helped $xx millions to save citizens from drought".
811  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can DEX Replace CEX as the Future of Crypto Trading? on: July 11, 2023, 05:07:32 AM
These two will forever be the favorites of different types of traders, they won't outdo each other as long as they're on the right track. I mean, lately the emergence of shady business models outside of the main orientation has been implemented in several cex and dex behind the scenes which is a threat to the exchange as a whole, both in terms of user trust and government policy.
812  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Motivating gambling addicts to invest in bitcoins. on: July 11, 2023, 04:47:21 AM
Nowadays many people in our country are addicted to gambling. I have seen many people losing their huge amount in most of the gambling games. If all those people can be informed about bitcoin, how to earn money in bitcoin? I think they would have invested in Bitcoin and they could have made money from it.
Bitcoin is money > one of the ways to earn money in bitcoin spcace is gambling.

Quote
Besides, if they can discuss about Bitcointalk in detail, then I think they will learn about Bitcointalk besides investing in Bitcoin.
And fortunately bitcointalk respects the freedom of bitcoiner interests, the forum provides facilities for gambling lovers, here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=56.0

Quote
In this, the person addicted to gambling could stay away from gambling besides earning money.
You are wrong, gambling addicts should first get a therapist and financial consultant. Bitcoin can't help them get out of the gambling loop naturally.
813  Economy / Exchanges / Re: OKX enforcing KYC. on: July 11, 2023, 02:17:00 AM
I'm coming back to confirm that yesterday I also received the same update request email, I'm a KYC Lv2 user but I'm sure that this is a request for all users for all levels of verification which is being done in stages.
I haven't done anything so far, will update the post how this verification process will go.
814  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can gambling and crypto trading be considered as skills with $10k gain a month? on: July 10, 2023, 04:18:38 PM
Your question is actually more about a profession, anyone can start into gambling or trading without any skills, but it will affect the results. When both become a profession, you must at least have a dedicated ability to achieve the expected results, say $ 10k/month.
What needs to be underlined, having skills doesn't mean that you can guarantee that expected profits will always be achieved.
815  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Huobi.com Suspending Withdrawal: Funds Held Hostage due to Monero Transaction on: July 10, 2023, 03:53:09 PM
I am just wondering - the money in this account, what is going to happen with this money? Are they keeping it? Do they give it away?
I mean think about it, they got a HUGE userbase. If they do this a thousand times with amounts around 1k$ where people say after a certain time fuck it.
That's a million dollars they pocked.

Does someone have background information what they do with those funds?

Your money is pooled in their centralized wallet along with other users' money, so they can do whatever is part of the exchange's operations and basically without having to do any freezes. What they freeze is nothing more than the digits of the balance that is reflected in your account.
816  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why research is crucial to a good experience - Tips from a decade-old Bitcoiner on: July 10, 2023, 01:53:44 PM
I started my journey by getting involved in a new altcoin promotion. Yeah, I used to make some mistakes out of laziness to find out the truth, it was quite a waste of precious time. But there are some positive things that I got from all of this, sometimes people have to make mistakes as experience and cover up curiosity so they won't make the same mistake again.
However, I'm not gonna cultivate hatred for altcoins. Just be more skeptical of their variations which could one day fail.
817  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I think it's time to leave Binance, any alternatives? on: July 10, 2023, 01:39:47 PM
Why not use Peer to Peer marketplaces like HodlHodl and AgoraDesk for your fiat <> crypto needs, and decentralized exchanges/bridges for on-chain movements? You retain privacy, custody and gain exposure to data oracles instead of centralized price data. Risk and security is much more in your control.

P2p markets don't always offer competitive pricing options as there are only a few traders available on a single platform (sometimes too expensive compared to spot rates). And also the limited choices of currency lists, local banks offered by existing traders.
818  Economy / Economics / Re: Agriculture can save your country from recession on: July 10, 2023, 01:23:37 PM
Agricultural products are vital commodities in any country, the government takes many policies and an active role to support its sustainability which gradually becomes the basic needs of farmers, or in other words "dependency".
On the other hand, this is a weakness in the agricultural sector, where, for example, during an economic recession, government support for this sector decreases which can also cause farmer productivity to decline. It was concluded that the agricultural sector is also not sufficiently resistant to difficult economic conditions at a certain level.
819  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Aptos Foundation Twitter Account Hacked on: July 09, 2023, 02:36:47 PM
~
So get in the habit of being skeptical of any offers even by reputable people especially regarding free lunch money.
No one deserves to be fully trusted on the internet, but greed and laziness are the main reasons people get scammed which bypasses important processes to identify scams.
You deleted the part where I exactly said that. Don't blame the victims, it's not greed from the people who gets scammed that needs to be blamed, it's the scammers that we should be blaming, who wouldn't say no to something when there's a sign that says it's free? I'm sure some asshole out there would pretend that they would say no to that just to be different but my point is, you're blaming the wrong side in this, the victims just needs to be informed and educated about the different types of scam and they're good to go.
Well I'm not gonna delete any part, looks like you've drawn a conclusion.
Criminals are always guilty, for sure. Then who guarantees that educated people wont make mistakes even in the things they do everyday? Being a victim of scam doesn't mean lack of knowledge and unfortunately scammers don't selectively ensnare victims.
Anyway, you could read this story, then think about what you might say to educate the victim. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5432665.0
820  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think at some point government will change its stand and adopt Bitcoin? on: July 09, 2023, 01:55:30 PM
That will automatically remove the fantasy of privacy in btc when the government eventually decided to support btc don't you think?

I mean which government in it's control nature will adopt a decentralized technology where they will lose the ability of control over it's citizens? They will most likely centralized it. And you know when that happens kyc is a must for you.

If interacting with the bitcoin network forever doesn't require user kyc, then external policies won't change its decentralized essence. So let the government try as much as they can, abolish the bullshit policies or keep all bitcoiners legally criminal.
