Till date, there has been no winner on this forum who won the Amazon gift card, Iphone or Rolex (at least if my memory is right).
Or at least nobody posted about it. Would be interesting to know what the statistics are on how many winners but not sure if TheQuin can share that information.
It's not a stat I keep track of because it doesn't have any relevance to the profitability of the business. I only look at the overall totals (number of spins and total cost) and because it's a privately owned business that's all confidential. |

No, I'll reply in public. There is a good reason that there are no refunds for gambling. If any gambling business refunded losing bets they wouldn't have anything to pay the winning bets with. That's 2 out of 7 Lambo winners on the forum now. The other one protected their identity by using a newbie account to post but they are an active member here. I'm sure there are also many other lottery winners here who haven't said anything about it for privacy reasons. I checked the STATS everyday and saw the WON and WAGERED charts. I guess it show all the total wagered btc and the total won btc everyday.

Wrong. The stats page just shows the total wagered and won. It doesn't show what odds people bet on or how much they lost. |

The Lambo is taking to long,do 12 Bitcoin blocks take this long to be mined or maybe the mathematical calculations after that take some time?Not that I expect a win but just want to know.
A new bitcoin block is mined every 10 mintues on average. So, mining 12 blocks should take only about 2 hours and that's not what has caused the delay. Note that tickets number list hasn't been published yet. They should publish the list in their twitter and 12 bitcoin blocks should be mined after the list published. Then why the new round started and the list is not published yet,does not make any sense to me.Anyway as I said I don't expect to win the Lambo,I have never been that lucky in my whole life so I highly doubt I am going to be now when I expect it the least,me and my friend have about 143 tickets together so we have a slim chance to be the winners but first as you say the numbers need to be published. I think it would be more fair if the new round starts after the draw has been concluded and we all know the winner,I think no one will care if we stay 1-2 days without a Lambo drawing going on. It would be less fair to anyone who didn't get credited a ticket during the delay between rounds. The drawing process isn't automatic for the Lambo. wetsuit needs to run a script to make it happen. The ticket file is finalised automatically when the timer ends and the next round starts then with the creation of a new ticket file. How long you have to wait for the draw process to start doesn't have any effect on fairness. I guess wetsuit forgot it was today so I'm just about to message him a reminder. In your mind any answer would be worthless, but I'm guessing you've spent so many years on your end of the operation, you forget the wants and needs of a standard user.
This is the point I was making. I still remember when I first started. The standard user doesn't understand their needs until after they get scammed. Even saying "we have contingency plans, but we don't wish to make that information public, but rest assured, more than 2 people have access to our cold wallets should something happen" would have sufficed to put a lot of peoples mind at rest.
It would indeed put many people's minds at rest but I'd rather they stopped and thought about the whole purpose of Bitcoin. It's about taking responsibility for your own money. If I just gave the corporate bland answer everyone wants to hear I wouldn't be being true to myself. Anywho, I've said all I want to say, thanks for replying.

I'm being transparent in telling you that any answer I give would be worthless. Don't mistake some corporate PR blurb about how their systems are foolproof with a guarantee. Just because their PR team seems polished doesn't mean you can't get scammed. I'm trying to help you work out what is important. Our contingency plans are personal. Your question is also pointless as the last reply shows. Sadly i think the silence speaks for itself. I love freebitco.in, over the years i've made a great profit from referrals and interest, but it seems behind the scenes it is just a two man operation. Kind of amazing to think they are handling hundreds of millions of dollars worth of bitcoin. I pulled some of my holdings out yesterday. It's a shame as their interest program was basically free money, but on the slim chance something goes wrong, I would lose a lot of money.
Always remember the golden rule. Not your keys, not your Bitcoin. There are always risks associated with hot wallets and online services. While free money is always nice, there's no such thing as a perfect world. I lost my Bitcoin just months ago on an exchange. Got myself a cold wallet after that As an ex-customer of Mt. Gox, Inputs.io, Cryptsy and a few more that are no more I can say that is excellent advice. Never leave what you can't afford to lose on any site. I wonder what Tradefortess or Big Vern would have replied if I'd asked them about what personal inheritance plans they had in the event of anything unfortunate happening to them? I'd wager a few dollars they would have just made something up rather than being honest and saying it's none of your business. All you can sensibly do is come to your own opinion about a site's reputation and history and decide how much you want to risk. Asking for reassurance really is dumb. |

Please read the provably fair information that explains how the lottery is drawn. The round ends at a specific time but the draw can only happen when the 12th Bitcoin block has been mined after that. Is the notification there before the results are officially published in the website or is the email given after the results are published in the website.I am just interested to know this,so I cannot wait 3 hours to check if I am a winner or not,I can just check my email if notification comes in real time as the draw is being made.
You'll have to wait until someone mines the Bitcoin block whether that's 2 hours (average) or a lot more. The page cache is updated hourly and I'd be surprised if the email arrives any quicker (we send out a huge number of emails so the server is always busy). The quickest way to find out is to download the ticket file and work out the winners yourself as soon as the block is mined. |
