Russia has no money ,thay can be bankrupt in two years, chinse, thay already bought Pireus port, but thay are not intersted in keepin greece economy alive Important point is that Greece is Nato member and USAdont want let go Greece in Russia or Chinaarms ,becouuse of his geopolitical location
If Russia sells energy for bitcoin, not USD, then it will have some hard money. USD is controlled by US.

The title is misleading. It should Monero, not Munero. Munero should be censored, not Monero.

Patience my friends, Bitcoin is now at 300$, it was 200$ a few months ago, so we definitely see progress now, with greece unfolding. What we need now is more time, and more work to promote bitcoin, and it will be more than 700$ then In a year's time, it will be over $690. Just be patient.

What do you think? I think I might be close. I'm guessing $10,000 per bitcoin by then.
100K maybe, but I highly doubt Bitcoin will increase in value to $10,000 in just 5 years. If this is the case, I imagine some sort of event would have to take place that challenges the stability of the USD. You're thinking of a stable $10,000. But bitcoin went from $100 to $1000 in a bubble. So the question is can bitcoin reach a stable value of $1000 in five years (and then have an unsustainable rally to $10,000), not whether bitcoin can stabilize at $10,000 in five years. With two halvings, I think it can. Maybe with 3 halvings.

As long as BTC is used widely, the price will go higher.

The fees must go up or some measure to kill spamers.
Larger blocks does not prevent spammers.....
The higher the blocksize, the more transactions can be processed and the more expensive a spam attack is per minute. But it is all a nominal amount of money in the grand scheme of things. Bitcoin should be secure against government attacks, let alone someone with a few grand lying around. If it currently costs a few thousand $ to clog up the blockchain, even increasing it 20 fold wouldn't stop someone with deep pockets. A work around needs to be found, not just a simple block size increase (though that should happen too) That is right. Increase the cost of spam is a better way.

No worries, I've actually been in contact with one of the guys running C-Cex and has agreed with him that it actually would be best to wait one week more to get the latest release out, before is is added to the exchange. And don't worry, we will back back in the top spot soon. That is a good plan. A few days/weeks after the release of the new wallet and confirm it works properly.

It will cost mining pool (miners a lot) if they have to send multiple payments to miners each day.

It means nothing. It increases and decreases for small amounts. If you have Bitcoins, I would say sell them now and get some small profit in case you bought them for less than $240.
What if the price does not come down below $240?

I don't think spammers are a problem,if there are larger blocks, what does spammers matter?
It will fill my hard disk faster and sooner.

Now, bitcoin hit $290.
Too fast. Steady pace please.

Is there any plan to develop this coin further?

Miner can decide not to include if the fee is too low. Is there a protocol to exclude a dust transaction by the miners?
|
|

This is such a less number if compared to other markets that we are involved in... We need more transactions if we want Bitcoins to succeed, as more transactions will show that more people are involved from different corners of the world, we want it to become mainstream...
Yes. But we do not want those spams.

Why are you still posting here? This is out-dated threadd..
To show the doomsayers that we are still here and strong as ever? Funny how they got silent when the predictions were not true.. He will come back when there is a dip of the price.

Will there be a new release of the wallet?

Because if he had used his huge stash of bitcoin, it would look like a huge premine (around 2 and 3% mined by him, the dev) Also, the block rewards are supposed to distribute the bitcoin, and not centralize all the bitcoin mined in 1 person hands.
Therefore, i think Satoshi prefered to sacrifice those premined coins for the sake of a better distribution of coins.
It is not a premine, just so many people did not know it.

Some of the recent transactions are scams for stress test.

Hoping to have about 10 BTC a year from now. Best case scenario is that those 10 BTC will help me to seriously cut down on work hours in 10-15 years time.
It will happen.
