tldr anyone? not sure of the consequences of all this data
thanks gbianchi for this data
Yes, it means almost nothing at all. A theory flawed from the onset which uses a narrow set of data (which includes price periods from Mt.Gox exchange, LoL).

I have this exact miner- looks and runs well.
I have tons of pics of my own, as well as a full dump of the Pi. The language it came with was Chinese, but we have already translated it, and changed out the PHP files in the image to change to English.
Could you share some of this "pictures"? http://imgur.com/a/tcimGThank you. OP offer now looks less fishy.

I'm not in any way naive. Using a logical fallacy such as that to discredit the other person's opinion without basis isn't really all that convincing.
Your position seems to be that anyone with any experience that's actually out in the world doing something will be corrupt. That ignores an awful lot, I think, such as proper structure, a system of oversight and checks and balances, which obviously need to be worked on over there also, etc., etc., etc.
do you have a solution/suggestion? it's fine if you don't and it's fine if your solution is to do nothing in the belief that the foundation, or anything like it is unnecessary, however, painting someone as naive because they don't share that opinion isn't actually a point of logic in any conversation, and some might say it shows quite a bit of naivete itself.
so, if you've got a solution, please propose it and support it if you can. If not, no biggie, I'm just looking to generate conversation on what's next, as there is a next. There is always a next.
Yawn... How fastidious you are. There is not any solution at this point rather than the Bitcoin foundation just cease to exist. Simple as that. The Bitcoin foundation is like a building erected on soft sand: no matter what material is used, it will always crumble apart.

Looks fishy!
The miner or the previous post? The miner looks legit. Why no video of the miner to prove it is working? What is the identity of the person selling? If the device generates a good revenue, why is being (re)sold?

sure, I'll take someone with his experience as one input out of several.
BTC Foundation protects nothing, that's obvious, although it, or something like it is necessary to deal with the system as it exists.
We can do nothing and form nothing, however, someone has to deal with the regulators, the banks, the others who would prefer that it fail.
IMO that means some organization that has the purpose that the Foundation currently has in promoting bitcoin, but is manned by people that are actually capable of forwarding that mission without someone going to jail every other week.
You must be naïve or something... The CEO of whatever company is going to work to increase his profits, not to protect the consumers. In his interactions with regulators, banks and others, he is going to take decisions which benefits his business and not the consumers interests.

Karpeles is gone. we'll see how far down the legal sinkhole he goes, and just how dirty he is. Based on that joint statement put out by Coinbase, Circle, et al, I think Mark has been a bad, bad, boy, but that's another thread. At this rate the Foundation's logo should be a prison jumpsuit.
Anyhow, who sits in that empty chair (chairs if you count Charlies)? If we think the Foundation needs a bit of help selecting people that do not have their heads up their asses, maybe we can forward some suggestions.
So, let's hear yours. Give reasons why if you're so inclined. Obviously these folks may be too damn busy, but that doesn't mean we can't ask.
These can be serious or not so much. This is a serious question, but that doesn't mean I'm dumb enough to think we'll get all serious answers.
For me CEO of Overstock. He loves it, loves the idea of it, has an independent mindset and knows how the big machine runs. He'll be able to sniff out the bullshit, identify what checks and balances are missing, and bring some legitimacy to the table.
I'd love to see someone from the financial sector, although I can't think of any of them, at least in the private sector, that I'd trust for two seconds. In the public sector, it's not much different.
LoL Another captain of the industry? Bitcoin Foundation is an useless entity to protect the Bitcoin software consumers, independent of whoever is sitting at any imaginary chair...

Self-regulation would lead to a cartel.

The market has been rebounding even before this announcement was made...
This news is just constructive interference as it resonates with the market's temporary upward trend.
I had my finger on the buy button at $411 last night with CoinBase but I feel like the FUD isn't even half way finished yet. I could be wrong but we're not out of the woods yet...
I quite like this... "it resonates with the market's temporary upward trend!" How idiotic and funny. LoL Bitcoin market = some spare exchanges run by some self-appointed captains of the industry d00ds.

will i make $6000? for those of you confused out there.
No. ...and you will end with an useless machine that serve no other purpose than generate random numbers. ouch... can you sugar coat that a little? WHAT IS amt GOING TO DO IN REGARDS TO THEIR MINER PROTECTION PROGRAM?Nothing...They will just add more delay (a month and more) because they do not have a product yet in my opinion Yep, it is quite likely their will act a la Hashfast. Anyone who even believed that extra hash rate from imaginary hardware could increase their ROI needs a serious re-education in finances and Bitcoin basics. MPP is no more than a marketing gimmick.

Stop playing detective. You are not a detective. There is not only one Joshua Zipkin in the world, I am sure that one is annoyed at you posting his information. There are over 14 people with my same exact "full name", that I have no relationship with. (Though I do look like one of them, a little.) Having a web-host, and thus, being associated with multiple domains, hosted on a shared-server, is what 80% of the current web-sites do. My own websites are shared among over 3000 others, that I have no direct or indirect ties to. (Seems I am in Europe too... Yet, amazingly I live in the USA Florida, and the actual server is located in USA Texas. OMG world-wide-web howz-it werk? Who-knew!) Go back to your corner with your ghetto sleuthing ability.
Bruno is better than a detective when he is involved in cyber investigation. People like you have to slander him because your ignorance do not allow you to understand how investigation works. I have been working with Bruno before and he never disappointed me with the evidence collected. You should at least have some respect for him since he is one of the oldest participants in this forum and he never engaged in harmful activates against this community.

Look like someone got emotional. CRAIG, YOU HAVE DONE NOTHING BUT HARASS OUR COMPANY TO THE FULLEST. YOU HAVE CALLED AND EMAILED EVERY SINGLE DAY FOR THE LAST 30 TO 60 DAYS.
JUST SO EVERYONE KNOWS. CRAIG LENELL PLACED HIS ORDER IN THE 600 LOT. HE DID NOT PAY FOR HIS ORDER UNTIL 6 WEEKS LATER BECAUSE HE CALLED AND BEGGED TO PAY FOR IT. HE ALSO ALTERED HIS METHOD 4 TIMES DURING THAT PROCESS. HE WANTED TO PAY FOR HIS MINER RIGHT BEFORE IT WAS DUE TO BE DELIVERED INSTEAD OF PRE-ORDERING LIKE EVERYONE ELSE. OMG, he wanted to pay for his product before it was due to be delivered! Someone call the authorities. Clenell's common sense is a threat for your business. ROFL. BUT MOSTLY, BECAUSE HE IS NOW THREATENING OUR COMPANY AND POSTING REVIEWS ON AMAZON FOR PRODUCTS HE NEVER BOUGHT. WE'LL SOON GET THAT REMOVED FROM AMAZON. Company? What company? You are not even legally registered, so what is the company you are talking about? LoL

Dude! Will you quit with the trash talking! I want to sell my miner and you aren't helping with your trash talk!
Go away!!!!
Sell what, d00d? You have no "miner". All you have is an invoice from an unregistered company operating from Bulgaria in USA territory. LoL

nevertheless, regardless of what happens to MG Japan will have to act legislatively, clearly they are taking more of a responsible position, and less of a knee-jerk reaction, to the matter but considering that this is the second time billiions in equity ($s) was flushed down the toilet it won't likely be viewed as intruding or overstepping the cryptocurrency community at large. Nothing "was flushed down the toilet". The real money just changed hands accounts.
