Taking an extra 250mg of Thiamine (five times the usual dose) resolved all this within a matter of three days.
Five? Are you sure about that? The US RDA for Thiamine is about 1.2mg/day.

Just in case there was any doubt, Twitter didn't exist until 2006.
"Twitter for Nokia" is a nice touch.

assuming bitcoin does the same trick after each halving we can expect a top at 850k or a top at 200k?
imagine 2021 being the year covid was defeated and bitcoin mooning a few hundred k $ per coin. the whole world will turn into a big party.
Each halving has a smaller effect on coin creation, so don't expect this to be as big a rally as before. Breaking $200k would definitely change my life, so won't mind it at all if I'm wrong!

How can "James" be a woman? At least make it a tranny, then maybe it'd be more believable

... I've always wondered why in all the democratic world it is only Democrat inner-city US counties that take forever to count their vote?
... they have more people so should be able to count faster ... or? are they stupider? why do they always delay their vote count? do you not find that strange?
In many states, mail-in ballots postmarked by Election Day can arrive a few days after and still be counted. Thanks in no small part to Trump, Republicans voted in-person, and Democrats voted by-mail. So now all these "late" counts are trending heavy Democrat.

Biden has 11 million Twitter followers, Trump 89 Maybe Democracy works in some mysterious ways and Twitter followers/likes have no meaning what so ever.
He got all of those followers *after* becoming POTUS, because he uses only his personal account to do all his official business. Biden was a VP. Pence is a VP. Pence has 5 million followers. Biden wins. Obama was POTUS. Obama has 124 million followers. Obama wins.

Let me share a curios and a little unpleasant story. In my country, a large part of the population ID's expires this year. The government has decided to extend this period by another year due to the covid crisis and to avoid crowds. So far so good. But I started receiving letters from all crypto exchanges that my ID has expired. And now I have to write letters to the support, to explain myself to them to give me access to my accounts. I do not currently have access to any exchange and I have to wait days, probably weeks for this issue to be resovled. This sucks.
I was denied a credit card because my DL was expired, even though my passport was valid. What does driving have to do with credit??? My bitcoin wallet never expires.

If a girl is into you and you realize that this is because of your bitcoin, then she is not a "gold digger", but what?

If PayPal never introduces a withdrawal (or even conversion) feature then I will be sad and yes it will be all for not, but I do not believe this to be the case.
I imagine they're concerned with fraudulent withdrawals. Fraudulent fiat withdrawals can be reversed. Not so with bitcoin.

Does paypal really buying bitcoin, if a paypal user buying (paypal) bitcoin or is the paypal-bitcoin just on the paper? (Or is it just another shittoken? ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) The ppB? ) Most likely they are buying real bitcoin. They are teaming up with Paxos Trust Company to hold the assets.

I have not been sleeping well, lately.
I merited this post because I entirely misread it.
As penance, I'm dumping my merit load on everyone I have - unignored - below the idiot post I merited.
I hope Joe Biden rots in hell.
Cheer up. This one's for you. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OSWszdSHkyE

The actions alleged by some to reap rewards in a potential afterlife are generally those which reap rewards in this life.
Summarily: don't be a dick
With things like tapeworms, childhood cancer, etc., maybe God likes dicks. Or maybe he wants only the strongest to survive, so we should kill the weakest among us.

I am leading my life on the assumption or possibility that there may be.
How can you do that if you do not know what actions in life reap rewards in afterlife?

Maybe his 1500 number is incorrect, though, it is difficult to pin down.
Whatever the number is, as time goes on and as value goes up, that number will shrink.

We may never be able to purchase BTC for less than 5 digits again, ever. You heard it here, first. #nohomoFurthermore, I am not even clear if the various (perhaps 5-ish clusters, give or take 1 cluster) short-term sinkenings below 5 digits between 9/3 and 9/8 would have counted as sub 5 digits, since the BTC price never did close any daily candle below 5 digits. In other words, if no daily candle closed below 5 digits, did below 5 digits even happen? #justasking ![Lips sealed](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/lipsrsealed.gif) I'd go by daily candle closes, which implies that a true trading opportunity has arrived. Taken to the other extreme, if a single satoshi trades under 5 digits, would that count? I'd argue no, flash drops like that can be considered insignificant noise.

I'm discussing about this/related on my local board. Here is the thing : can we expect the BTC protocol to evolve at one point to make private keys more secure ? Like making their size bigger (4096 bits instead of 256) so that instead of making a collision almost impossible, it would become totally impossible ? To fend off advances in computing.
256 is totally impossible.
