Use pywallet to dump the private key(s) for the addresse(s) you want to save and then import them to a new wallet using the Console window.

Like I said at first, you need to use the accounts feature. But the only way is using RPC commands.

i keep getting "The last posting from your IP was less than 360 seconds ago. Please try again later." even though my last post was a lot longer than that. Any ideas?

The forum erroneously counts "logging in" or "sending PNs" as "posting".

The thing is, the software doesn't look for posting, it looks for POST'ing Grin

Are you using a proxy, Tor, or VPN?
216  Other / Off-topic / Re: Proxy/VPN/Tor detection on: October 27, 2013, 10:56:12 PM
There's also http://botscout.com
Tested with a few popular VPNs, didn't detect any of them  Undecided

VPN's are trickier to block. You're better off just blocking any IP that belongs to a datacenter. There was a list of them IP's at Github.

There's always BadBehaviour. And it's way faster that using a remote API.

220  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I talked to some people at college about bitcoin and they laughed at me. on: October 27, 2013, 01:18:22 AM
During this last "crash" I told my coworkers, "hey guys probably last chance, want some cheap coins?" and instead of the usual "no" this time I got "no I told you". So I guess, I must be boring with this bitcoin theme even when it's been at least 6 months since I last brought it up. Ok, no more feeling stupid when trying to help—fuck em. One day they'll come asking and I'll be glad to answer but until then, I'm not saying another single word.

You know what you should do? Send an email to wikipedia telling them how much they're missing out by not accepting BTC on their donation drive.
